Do you think there have been multiple occasions that Bee has made a hypocritical statement and one of the other bots call him out by saying ‘You can’t talk!’ Then there’s a lot of back tracking while they try not make things worse.

I am rewriting Bayverse
calling it Transformers: Make Bayverse Make Sense (TF:MBMS)
initially meant as a fix-it of sorts but I think it's spiraling into fan continuity territory (complete with varying degrees of redesigns). eh, fuck it though; I'm having fun and that's the important part. combines (and occasionally cuts out) various aspects of Bayverse canon in ways that make more sense - at least, they make sense to me
current working timeline (WIP - though I may update this post specifically later)
Quints' homeworld is Cybertron
Quints made [Omega Terminus (may change later)] first (named himself Unicron) to generate sparks for their robotic labor force, ended up killing a bunch of Quints off by taking over their tech by force
Unicron was ejected into space (formed an indestructible shell so Quints couldn't tamper with him), but became independent and made a body for himself, intending to seek revenge on Quints for making him a slave
Quints make Vector Sigma as another ai to combat Unicron, VS wins and is placed at the core of Cybertron (as a cube)
Quints make TFs through VS as a labor force for their empire, Quints end up "pulling apart" Cybertron over time - differentiates regions that would become major cities (Iacon, Vos, Kaon, etc.) down the line
VS bides his time until labor force nearly outnumbers Quints, then manipulates Cybertron itself to teach the early TFs how to fight back, pushed Quintesson presence off the planet entirely
Only 13 TFs left in the wake of the battle - name themselves Primes after their "creator" Primus (aka Vector Sigma - chose new name like Unicron did)
All the Primes are Transformers, except Quintessa (mtf trans) who is a Quintesson that was made by Primus (Quints are techno-organic, Quintessa is completely robotic) as an experiment
Shortly after Quints leave, Primus undergoes a "failsafe" (activated by Quints remotely) - can no longer communicate with TFs freely or produce energon but can still create new sparks when stimulated
Bodies are grown separately and need energon to survive - sparks are implanted into manufactured hatchlings (see: ROTF) en masse as base templates for sparks to manip over time, Primes reverse-engineer Quint tech to produce more hatchlings and make a primitive machine that harvests energon from suns
Machine unlocked w/ Matrix - made by all 13 Primes to ensure machine's power wouldn't be abused (also imbues Matrix w/ life-giving powers & some of the Primes' memories, as a side effect)
7 Primes (including Megatronus) leave to harvest energon, 6 (including Quintessa) stay behind to care for the planet
Quintessa suggests the planet now needs formal protectors (that aren't the Primes), she and the other 5 Primes make the 12 Knights of Cybertron as a means of protecting the planet
Megatronus/The Fallen betrays the others on Earth (thinks humans would try to control them like the Quints did if left unchecked) - occurs as humans are just beginning to evolve & show signs of sentience
Other 6 Primes seal away the Matrix on Earth via self-sacrifice, send a warning to the 6 Primes on Cybertron
Mortality of the Primes now extremely evident, causing Quintessa to begin fearing that her days of creating new life will end when her own life ends
Quintessa experiments with attempts at immortality via Primus - she murders Thirteen and attempts to retrieve his spark with memories intact (creates a Staff to extract him directly from the Allspark-Cube), but he is instead reincarnated as Orion Pax
Quintessa casts out Orion as a failed experiment, Alpha Trion takes him in and trains him to be an archivist - informs the Knights, who lock Quintessa in stasis (via a stasis pod probably?) and take the Staff offworld
"Prime" becomes more of a military title akin to commander-in-chief as the First 13 fade into myth
Orion Pax befriends D-16, a warrior poet from the pits of Kaon, they both oppose Cybertron's social order (still reminiscent of Quintesson utilitarianism, which changed to become functionism over time) and end up in a romantic relationship
Fallen returns to Cybertron after a time, manipulates D-16 (who changes his name to Megatron) into starting the war with the goal of wiping out all other forms of sentient life - creates the Decepticons, with Megatron being a sort of figurehead while the Fallen calls the major shots
As war escalates, Sentinel is current Prime and forms the Autobots - war begins in earnest, Orion is forced to side with the Autobots (mostly because he doesn't agree with the eradication of all other life)
Sentinel leads a strike team on a raid of a Decepticon laboratory and claims the Pillars as Autobot property and therefore his creation (they were actually made by Brainstorm - key pillar was altered in secret to respond to Sentinel's spark signature instead)
Lockdown hijacks a warship and flees the planet - might follow the teachings of Quintessa re: order of the universe? - occasionally resurfaces for bounty work but generally stays hidden
War escalates to a breaking-point - Fallen has descended into paranoia, wants the Allspark (the Cube) in order to create a defensive force against all other life-forms, including Autobots
Efforts to retrieve the Cube from the planet's core end up pulling the planet further apart (see: wide shots of Cybertron from TLK) - many major cities are reduced to rubble and/or rendered completely inhospitable (Allspark actively attempts to heal the land, though it can only work at a slow pace - tethers spaceborne pieces back to the planet to varying degrees before it is removed)
Megatron will stop at nothing to retrieve the Cube, Optimus is forced to send it into deep space - Cybertron is rendered incapable of creating new life or healing the destroyed portions of Cybertron
Mass exodus ensues - location of the Cube is uncertain & Cybertron is no longer liveable, so Autobots and Decepticons alike take off in all directions
[remaining timeline tbd]
that's what I've got so far. it's not perfect but that's the purpose of indicating that it's a WIP - that being said, if y'all have any advice, anything you'd like to see added or altered, or if there's any details you're curious about, please lmk!! I appreciate that sort of feedback always /gen

how do conservatives think talking to children works? if a four year old came up to me and said “i’m a cat!!” i would say “really? what makes you a cat?” and they’d say some shit like “i have claws >:)” and i’d be like “oh wow, you do have claws. but wait, i thought cats had pointed ears!” and they’d say “they DO!!!” and then i’d pull up a picture of an elf and ask “is THIS a cat?” and they’d yell “NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO”
u wouldn’t say “fucking hell, Emily, get it together. this is the real world”

i'm sorry but i don't think we should call this the "autism website" when there's still posts with tons of notes mocking people who:
struggle with social skills / have anxiety around social settings
are unemployed / unable to work certain jobs
have intense or "age-inappropriate" interests
haven't had certain life experiences that are deemed universal/essential
struggle with personal hygiene
don't have any friends or dating experience
don't go outside much or at all
take things literally / don't get sarcasm/jokes
have unusual ways of speaking
generally aren't "normal"

it's about the small acts of intimacy... forehead kisses, putting jewelry on you, rubbing your hand with their thumb, putting a jacket on you, touching your necklace, running your hands through their hair, wiping away their tears, peeling them an orange, un/zipping their dress, tying their shoelaces, holding hands, removing an eyelash from their cheek, washing their hair, putting an anklet on them, tucking their hair behind their ear, sorting out their collar, untangling their necklaces, drinking out of a cup in their hands

my favourite type of fan fictions are like. Slightly canon divergent. Like everything is the same but we fix this one annoying detail you can’t stand and let it butterfly effect the whole story.

Yes, people do need to take accountability for the partners they choose to date, at least to some extent. And no, this doesn't apply to abusive relationships, that situation is entirely different.
I'm talking about white people who date other white people who are openly racist. I'm talking about "allies" who date other people who are openly homophobic and transphobic. I'm talking about liberal women who date very conservative men. And seeing bigotry as nothing more than a "political issue."
Of course, it's different if your partner lies and actively hides their political views from you. But if your partner is openly voting for people like Trump, openly supporting conservative politicians, openly hating/harming minority groups, then you should leave them. And you should be held accountable if you to choose to stay with someone like that.

the US education system isn't even that bad. many countries have objectively worse-funded education systems, but don't display the same belligerent idiocy as them. the fundamental issue is that USAmericans have no real reason to care about the rest of the world, as it will never meaningfully affect their lives unless they decide to go on vacation or take part in an invasion. their lack of intellectual curiosity is because the rest of the world never really registers as a real place.

here's to all the little sacrifices we have to make as disabled people.
here's to skipping a friend's party because you were in too much pain, or because you had no energy.
here's to dropping out of clubs because they became too much for you.
here's to all the times we've said "no it's okay, you guys go ahead, i'll hang back here."
here's to all the things we've held ourselves back from just in case they hurt us.
here's to moving seats in class away from your friends because your back was getting a draft and the cold hurts you.
here's to us. here's to letting ourselves heal. here's to being cautious, being safe.
here's to the things we can do. the things we're allowed to do. here's to enjoying those things, enjoying our lives.
here's to making the most of being us.
