"Why are there so many female archers in fiction?"
Please forgive the clickbait-y title! This is a super complex and interesting topic that I barely scratch the surface of here, but I hopefully will be able to do more justice to things like this in the future!
Also, it's not the point of the video, but I had fun with the outfits in this- do you have any faves?

That evening the men were practicing archery on the green. Bill Door had carefully ensured a local reputation as the worst bowman in the entire history of toxophily; it had never occurred to anyone that putting arrows through the hats of bystanders behind him must logically take a lot more skill than merely sending them through a quite large target a mere fifty yards away.
It was amazing how many friends you could make by being bad at things, provided you were bad enough to be funny.
Glazed bricks depicting a Persian archer, dating back to around 510 BCE, from the city of Susa in the Achaemenid Empire. This glazed brick bas-relief style was perfected in Babylon, and even the Foundation Charter of the Susa palace states that the baked bricks at the palace were the work of the Babylonians. Why are pole dancers usually mostly naked (and why am I usually not)?
I get this question from both directions, depending on how familiar people are with pole. In truth, I prefer the chrome for dancing, but silicone is better for videos.

seriously archery if anything requires more musculature than melee, you can get by with finesse with a sword but there's no getting around how shooting a decent warbow is basically like pumping 50kg of free weights every time you draw
it uses the back more than the arms, so more lats and dorsal than biceps and triceps, but STILL
This is a great question! And i'm gonna be as honest as I can with the answer!
I initially defaulted to a slim body type for Quiver, since her narrative role is to be sort of a cute nervous disaster of a superhero. Making her realistically built for vigilante parkour archery would evoke more confidence and competence and visually undercut her presentation as an underdog.
To that end, I figured she would rely more on things like trick arrows with funny gimmicks and maybe explosives rather than purely strength based stopping power.
That said, I think underneath her jacket, she can almost certainly be a little bit jacked in her dorsal/lats as you suggested. I imagine a future bit where people can't really tell how buff she is until she flexes and then:
Hopefully that answers your question!
As an aside: In my research for this character I have thoroughly enjoyed the videos made by blumineck. His videos are very charming and informative. I wholly admit to indulging in some of the low-hanging fruit tropes he has discussed in his videos about Skinny Archers and Female Archers.
Saw an old man like around his 60s wearing a full punk outfit with a short mohawk carrying a bow and a quiver full of arrows, hardest thing I've seen all day
