1. ring ring ring - verivery. we both knew what this was gonna be DKDKSK their debut sound was a retro "jack-swing" kinda sound, and sure, like two? comebacks after ringx3 to moved onto trying out more different sounds (+ the mvs for ringx3 and from now are more light-hearted, a group of friends hanging out and then in tag tag tag, they go to an abandoned house and play hide and seek and that never goes well lmao) but there's smth captivating about ringx3's sound? it's bright and fun and, while i wouldn't call it pop, it's got that light pop-esque feel to it but not in an overly saturated way that makes you get sick of it quickly 2. valkyrie - oneus. the sound is soooo good on this song idk what it is, but <333 it's like . feels like it's influenced by techno + pop + edm + funky genres (djsjsj ik that sounds like A Lot™ but give the song a listen !! it's a lot less aggressive? than i make it sound lol) plus ! in the mv they do that "iconic matrix move" (yk the one where he leans back to dodge the bullets) AND !! they even did it in their stage performances and changed it up each time !! (i had to scroll to the bottom of my oneus collection to find that tiktok lmao) anyways ! 3. siren - p1harmony. THE CHORUS IS SO FUN ! i put it on and the second that chorus hits, i'm bouncing lmao. plus i'm a sucker for the call? group vocals? of the "SIIIRENNN" part (idk how to describe it, but you'll know what i'm talking about when the song plays lol) plus after the first time i heard it, i would go about my day and just randomly go "tell me why so serious, hoping i'll save ya" so it's an earworm too. piwon is having a cb real soon too so 👀

Its Not that he doesn't have feelings for you, In fact its pretty much the opposite. It's just that this poor traumatized boy can't even comprehend that someone would want to date him.

And he's literally the prettiest boy in U.A. so you eventual gave up on trying to ask him out because you figured he probably just didn't like you.

Imagine this poor boys reaction when you stop talking to him everyday. He is crushed.

Would inevitably go to Midoriya for help. He doesn't understand his feelings for you and pretty much has to be informed by Midoriya that it's a crush. Unfortunately, Midoriya isn't all that good at confessions either. So obviously, the next best option is Bakugou.

Except that he also sucks ass in this situation... he'd tell poor confused Shouto to grow a pair or something.

Eventually Shouto goes through literally everyone in the class asking what to do. He gets tons of advice and multiple lessons and pep talks from the girls.

At this point you know how he feels before he even has the chance to ask you out... I mean he is constantly talking about it out loud in the hallways and in Class. There have been multiple note passing situations between him and Mina that resulted in a very pissed Aizawa, and a very embarrassed Shouto...

When he finally gathers enough information on this whole "crush" thing. He works up the courage to ask you out. You would obviously know what was happening, but please act surprised he's trying really hard.

He would ask you out in like the textbook way, With a little flair added by Mina and Denki.

He bought you red roses, and brought you to an extremely fancy restaurant. Like, dress code level fancy.

(Don't worry he's using Endeavors card please buy the most expensive thing on the menu)

He would be super uptight and formal at first, And it's really awkward.

But you were expecting that considering it's Shouto so you don't mind.

As long as you continue making conversation, he will calm down eventually, smiling softly at you from across the table while you tell some story about an annoying customer you dealt with at work yesterday or something.

He loves the sound of your voice and the way you get all riled up when you rant about something annoying. Or the way you talk with your hands when you're excited. He loves watching you just talk. He doesn't even need to say anything he just nods along, giving all of his attention to every word that comes out of your mouth.

By the end of your diner, the atmosphere is completely normal. Shouto's nerves have calmed down at that point, and his confidence is up a bit.

Once you leave the resteraunt, he offers his hand to you. He doesn't say anything. he just kinda puts his hand out and hopes you get the message. When you take his hand, he immediately starts leading you down the street.

You ask where he's taking you and he just says "it's a surprise.. you'll see when we get there."

And it is a long ass walk into the middle of nowhere. Like the literal bush. If it was anyone other than Shouto you would have thought you were being kidnapped.

Fortunately it is Shouto. So you've got nothing to worry about.. but you start to wonder how long this walk is going to last... he seems very concentrated.

Finally, you get to the spot. Emerging from the bush to see two pairs of ice skates a lake that is completely frozen.. which was obviously Shouto's doing considering its the middle of summer.

You would ice skate together for hours. Your hand in his, he would slow his pace down a bit because you are definitely an inferior skater to him.

(Which is why Denki and Mina suggested skating. Gotta give him as many opportunities as possible right?)

But in the end, he doesn't try anything. He doesn't want to push you to do something you're not comfortable with.

Even though a first date with Shouto would be extremely awkward. After a few months of dating, and quite a bit of reassurance that he didn't have to worry so much. He would come around.

I don't think he would be into pda like at all. He would definitely be on the shy side when it comes to physical affection. Although he does like to be the one who initiates it.

In public he would do small touches, like pulling on your sleeve to get you attention, Or brushing hair out of your face. He would hold pinkies with you if you were in a crowd. Telling you to keep close to him. (Or honestly you don't even have to be in a crowd, he's just worried about you)

"Stay close ok..? There's a lot of people her, you could get lost." He would say, squeezing your Pinky a bit.

He would hold your hand if the crowd got to chaotic, his grip firm but not to hard. A drop of sweat rolling down his forhead.

He's really scared of losing you. After all, who knows how long it would take to find you again, right? You could easily be ambushed by a villain. Or a civilian for that matter. I mean, normal businessmen can be just as dangerous as villains. Definitely a threat to your safety. Or at least that's what he's thinking.

I mean, can you really blame him? U.A. students and pro heroes alike get attacked almost daily. So it's not his fault if he's worried, right?

On the other hand if you were in private, he would be much more touchy.

Not gross touchy but like cute soft touchy y'know?

Like he would come up behind you if you were doing housework and stuff and just rest his chin on your head and follow you around while you do things. Every few minutes asking if you need help.

it would be the most menial things too. Like your just minding your own business, unloading the dish washer and there he is asking if you need help putting away a singular fork.

He just wants to make your life easier, but man, it is constant.

He would be so nervous to kiss you when you first start dating. He does not know how.

But surprisingly enough, I think he'd be naturally talented. Like he warns you in advance that he's never really done it before, and you're all prepared for the most awkward, stiff kiss of your life. And then, by some miracle, he's like a master kisser.

within a few makeout sessions you're experiencing mind-blowing, earth-shatering kisses with this man.

His hands definitely wander when you two are making out.

Not even on purpose, he's just doing it absent-mindedly.

But even though he doesn't realize what he's doing. You sure do.

I mean how can you not with his right hand running through your hair, holding your head in place as he kisses you. And his left hand is traveling up and down your back, under your shirt, in a rhythmic soothing motion that could probably put you to sleep if you weren't currently making out with Shoto Todoroki.

You are a fucking mess and this man has no idea what he's doing to make you act like this.

Try and keep your composure at least a little bit, or he might think you're sick and dying though.

Seriously the first time ya'll did anything spicy he probably got so freaked out by the sounds you were making.

You literally had to show him source material to convince him he wasn't hurting you and you weren't possessed.

It does make sense though. Like there's no way Endeavor ever gave him the talk..

So he is completely clueless and you basically have to give him the talk yourself. But once he gets the idea, he's... well, let's just say he's very.. well endowed.

He would literally break your guys's 11th bed frame and he would just be like "oops."

Absolutely menace. Nobody wants to have to replace their bedframe that many times. Nevermind your bed sheets which also tend to get ruined.

It's a good thing you're both top pro heroes and absolutely loaded.

He would be so good at aftercare though. He cares about you so so much, so he would definitely pamper the shit out of you after ya'll do your thang.

He would run you a warm bath, heating to water up to the perfect temperature with his Quirk. He helps you into the bathtub, massaging the shampoo into your hair with the most gentle touch you have ever felt.

After he takes care of you and you both go to bed, you would have no trouble falling asleep.

Your bodies pressed against each other. Your head resting peacefully on his chest as he strokes your hair, breathing a sigh of relief. Just knowing you're there, with him, and your safe. That's enough to give him a good night's sleep.

I would literally die for him. If he needs a dog, I can meow 👍

And on a separate note, I’ve had this ask for a while now, and was contemplating whether or not to send it in, but then I saw you answer that other ask about the ROs special interests/hobbies. So now I can’t get it out of my mind lol. I was wondering how Rin would react if reserved MC decided to bring them to their “secret place” where they go to unwind and recharge, only to find out that it’s a music room with the perfect ambience, floor to ceiling windows, and a grand piano that is nestled in the middle of it all. Then MC plays several pieces for them (MC is a secret virtuoso pianist, but Ash and the fam know ofc. MC keeps it to themself ‘cause music is something intimate to them so Rin is the first person outside of their fam that they share it to 💕.) Then maybe at the end MC says something along the lines of “Stay.” Cuz well, we all know everything that happened to MC. If it’s alright with u ofc. You groan quietly as you bring your hands up to your temples and start to massage. Forcing precognition visions too much, or to see too far ahead is never a pleasant experience and you can already feel the familiar and loathed throb forming around your skull.

But, as always, it’s a side effect that you willingly take on for the greater good of your family and their allies. And right now, you’re doing it for the Morozov—namely Sasha.

“Hey,” you hear them say quietly from beside you, the concern is clear even through that one word alone. “Are you okay?”

“Yeah, just a minor headache,” you answer, trying to keep the strain out of your voice with mixed results. “It’ll go away on its own in due time. Nothing I can’t handle.”

But still, a pain in the ass to handle…

There’s a moment of silence as your words hang in the air. You can’t really see what Sasha is doing or what expression they’re wearing on their face or whether they believe what you just said. Your eyes are shut in a vain attempt to curb the headache from getting worse.

A gentle touch to your shoulder almost make you jump, and you open your eyes to see Sasha’s living room coming into focus before finally turning to face them. Their face is carved with a mix of guilt, concern, but also something that you can’t really put your finger on. Hopefulness? A hint of excitement even?

But before you can analyze it even further, Sasha quickly avert their gaze shyly and you swear you see hints of a blush spreading on their cheeks. Or maybe it’s a trick of the afternoon light from the window behind you.

“I… I want to show you something. Maybe it’ll help you with your headache as well,” they mutter quietly before quickly adding, “But only if you want to, of course!”

You blink at them and your mouth moves before your mind can even catch up. “Sure,” you reply.

Sasha perks up and they reach down to grab your hand, pulling to help you get on your feet. You don’t resist at all and let them guide you through their penthouse. You’re still stunned and you can’t help but stare at your joined hands.

You’ve been to the penthouse a few times, but never went farther than the living room and kitchen area, and Sasha is leading you down the hallway toward a door at the end of the corridor.

Sasha opens the door and you’re a bit surprised. The room seems to be a leisure room with the far wall and the wall to the right fully covered in full-length window panes overlooking the city. To the left are two tall bookshelves and a little cozy seating area and in the middle, like the crown jewel of the room, is a grand piano, the brand “Steinway & Sons” is plastered on the side proudly.

“Didn’t know you play piano…” you say, running your fingers on the smooth surface of the piano as you step closer.

Sasha rubs the back of their neck shyly. “It’s a hobby of mine that I… never really bother telling those outside of my family about.”

“I know a lot of people who wouldn’t stop cawing about it if they could play the piano,” you chuckle quietly and Sasha does the same as well.

“Well, you said you’re having a headache, so I’m thinking that… I can maybe… play you a song. Maybe it’ll help,” they stutter a bit, looking anywhere else but at you.

You smile, “Sure, I’d love that.” And you see Sasha’s face light up. “I’ll be sitting right over there.” You point at the nearest armchair before walking towards it and plopping down.

And then, Sasha starts playing. In just the first few notes, you manage to identify the song. It’s “Liebestraum No. 3” by Liszt. “Dream of Love” the title translates to and befitting of it, the song is beautiful, and whimsical, and airy, reminding you of a gentle day in Spring, and Sasha plays it masterfully.

You wonder if Sasha is trying to tell you something from this choice of song…

Usually you close your eyes to savour the song even more, but this time, you find yourself entranced and you can’t look away from Sasha. You feel your headache subsiding as your eyes involuntarily trace the way the afternoon light that’s streaming from the window hit their face, giving it the appearance as if it’s glowing. Their long and slender fingers seem to float and glide up and down the ivory keys as the song hits its crescendo before slowing down once again.

And soon, before you can even realize it, the song is over and Sasha looks at you as you stare at them. You blink, snapping out of your stupor before trying to play it cool, as if you haven’t spent the last few minutes or so staring at them.

Clearing your throat, you stand up and make your way towards them. “Thank you for the wonderful performance. It’s a beautiful song.”

Sasha smiles sheepishly, “Glad you like it. It’s one of my favorite songs as well. Does it help, though? With your headache?”

You nod, “Yes, it worked really well. It seems I know what song to listen to now whenever I have another headache.” And truly, the headache is nothing more than faint pulses now, but whether it the work of the song, or Sasha themself, you don’t know.

Sasha laughs softly. “How about another song? “The Swan” by Saint-Säens or maybe Chopin’s “Nocturne in C Sharp Minor” is more to your liking?”

Rin hesitates. They would honestly love to stay longer and see Sasha play more songs, but also, they’re worried about making things feel awkward. After all, this room feels like Sasha’s personal space, a “secret garden” of some sorts, and you’re intruding on it.

“Thank you for the offer…” you start and you can see Sasha’s smile faltering, making you feel even torn inside. “I should probably go home… I’ve taken enough of your time.”

“Wait,” Sasha says quickly, hand closing around your wrist. “Stay. Please. I enjoy spending time with you…” they mutter shyly.

Ah… You see… This might be as close to a confession that you’ll be getting for now, but still, it makes your stomach flutters all the same—not that you’ll show it outwardly though. That would be too embarrassing for you.

“If you would have me, then…” you reply coyly, smiling inside as Sasha drags you down to sit beside them on the spacious piano bench.

“Yes, I would,” they huff adorably. “Now, what song do you have in mind?”

So I saw the recent anime anniversary PV that the Digimon Partners Youtube channel put out and was honestly surprised when they breezed past everything after Frontier lol. I know that Toei/Bandai has a bias for the first four series in terms of celebrations and merch (even then that’s debatable for Frontier); but are there any examples of them doing modern merch for the newer series like Savers or Xros Wars (barring the TCG ofc)?

Well, the anniversary in question came with this nice key visual that they're now making merch out of as part of a gachapon lineup with every TV series:

And even putting the 25th anniversary stuff aside, they have. If you go to the Digimon section of the Toei shop and scroll down, you can narrow it down by series. Everything listed in the sections for Savers and after is from 2020 or later. Of course, a lot of this is recent -- it's a byproduct of them getting much better at making efforts to acknowledge non-Adventure ever since there was an overhaul of IP-related direction back in 2020 (it hasn't been super publicized since it's mainly stuff to do with IP management in the background, but it's been a thing).

The problem is, it is a known fact that anything after Frontier does not sell (and even Frontier is on thin ice). The otedama (mini-plushes) for Savers, Xros Wars, and Appmon were the result of a poll held on Digimon Partners for what kind of later-series merch people wanted to see, because they really cannot be certain that they're actually going to be able to make enough to not turn out a loss on these. So in the end, I'll take this over the neverending "Adventure and tri. are the only things that exist" we had during the late 2010s.

They're not snubbing the later series because they don't care, it's just that we're still at the point where most average people don't even know what a Shoutmon is! (Well, except TCG players.) When that aforementioned gachapon was announced, one of the people in my group chat sadly pointed out that since every series shown in it has an equal chance of being pulled, more than 50% of people who play the gacha are going to get something after Frontier and say "I have no idea what this is, I wasted my money on a bad pull." So unless something can be done about the current state of things where you have to forcibly insert later-series stuff into random merch draws to get people to buy them, I can't really expect too much.

You sat far away from him towards the other side of the room as he enjoys his time with Stays on Channie's room, once again. But ofc, he was in perfect view.

His dimly lit room and purple led - it was your comfort space - and him, as well, obviously.

You watched him talk so passionately about LOLs and baby pictures and the trailers and spoilers, basically enjoying his well deserved time with his beloved stays. But you find yourself hearing less and less of what he was talking about, as your eyes went from his lips to his eyes to his face to his well toned body, clad in a fitted tee shirt.

This is the Bahng Christopher Chan that has everyone on their knees. And he was yours.

But why...?

Lips - pink and luscious that curves into a smile that brightens up the dark room.

Eyes - dark, hides many a story but twinkles so bright when around people they love.

Face - might be a sculpture's dream or we can say, it was one, personally sculpted by the Creator himself.

Shoulders - carries such responsibilities, is that why they are wide as one of the greatest seas?

Hands - lends them to anyone and everyone who needs it, is that way they are so soft yet strong at the same time?

He knew.

He noticed your nibbling at your cuticles whenever a suspense scene come up on screen. He noticed the beads of sweat building up on your forehead and the relentless shaking of your legs, while you both wait for his health examination results. But he never addressed it, seeing how you played it off in front of him, trying to be a reliable source of strength for him. He was waiting for you to trust him enough to confide in it, since he knew you view it as your weakness.

“but how? ”, you asked in a low voice, head hung low.

“I've liked you since the day I first saw you, ” he held your chin up with his hand, “I wanted to know every part of you since that day. Of course, I noticed”, he said, kissing your forehead.

That kiss felt like it took off years and years of insecure feelings of worthlessness and replaced it with love and security.

“ I wish you were just a human, Chan”, you said, eyes fixated on his hand that was on your knee, “I wish I didn't look at you and see poetry like I do now”.

He bursted out in a soft laughter.

Squeezing your cheeks together, he said “Do you know you are the cutest human I've ever known? And I've known some very cute humans in my life. But you,my lady,are my angel sent just for me” and he kissed your pouted lips, before engulfing you in a bear hug, Channie's style.

hello everyone!! i'm the person who ran the TUA color polls for each of the seven siblings over the last few weeks. sorry it took so long but i'm here with results! i'm going to have charts first because they are flashy, easy to look at an understand, and also won't make the post too long above the keep reading :DD without further ado, the results of the poll: "Which color do you associate with [Hargreeves]?" !!

analysis and words under here if you're interested lol :D it’s basically me just rambling for WAY TOO LONG about analysis lmao

okay so going into this, my hypothesis was that everyone’s colors were more or less determined by their s2 outfits. the fashion was iconic and stood out a lot, so it was very likely to stick in people’s brains.

my personal choices in order of siblings are: blue, orange, yellow, pink, green, red, and blue again. i chose green for five because of like.. chalkboards? i feel like he gives the green vibes y’a know? for the rest it was mostly determined by outfits and vibes etc.

but i’m sure nobody wants to hear me talk about my own opinions for too long [afterall, i didn’t even vote in the polls to keep them unbiased as possible] so here’s my analysis of YOUR choices

blue green and yellow were all the top choices for luther, which makes sense to me. blue ended up winning. they’re all generally cooler colors. when i think of luther i think of less stand-out colors, something solid and steady. blue is the most popular favorite color. it has a lot of range, just like luther. he wears it a lot throughout the seasons. blue is associated (not to bring color theory onto the color theory website or anything) with a feeling of sadness, and also responsibility. i really see him as a very tragic character tbh, à la s1 characterization.

diego was surprising to me, because even though my prediction of orange was correct there was a large amount of black in play. red was third after that. i don’t see it as that surprising considering his outfit from s1 lmao. let’s be honest they’re all emo anyways. red and orange are both associated with fire. diego probably would do arson if he thought he was doing the right thing. red is very agressive of a color, but orange is seen as a little less in your face. it can represent change too. but all in all, i think that it was chosen most often because of his orange and black polka dot shirt from s2. slay ig

allison was surprising to me at first, because i didn’t expect so much purple. i think that the pink might be because she’s a girl though. the red is what confused me the most. i would love to hear anyone else’s thoughts because i’m honestly not sure. @creepy-not-crawly (❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️) was talking with me about the polls, and said this about allison having yellow win:

purple is associated with royalty and we all know she’s a queen. ofc, yellow won. we ALL remember that dress from s2. she’s also fairly optimistic for the first two seasons, and s3 largely revolves around her trying to force herself to be happy. yellow is associated with happy, and she was happy when she was with ray and trying to get it back s3. i have a post about the whole tone fuck up from s2/s3 here X so read that if you want!!

alright klaus. green came out (haha get it) in first and i think this one was essentially due to the association of ghosts and supernatural things in general with green. it’s SPOOOOOKY you know? it’s represents change and growth. the guy is trying. also the military is associated with green uniforms (at least in the US), so it can be easily linked back to the vietnam war incident from s1 and his connection to dave.

five had the most votes and it ended up with the closest results to one color taking half the pie. blue won, and red and black followed. i think for the red, it might be because of the metaphorical and literal blood on his hands. as far as i can tell, his powers- some of the most distinctly colored in the show- were a major factor: (credit to @dead-peppermint and @the-time-travelers-admirer in that order)

and his iconic uniform is mentioned as well. (thank god the old man got a change of clothes in s3, manifesting for s4) blue represents responsibility and we all know he has so much on his shoulders (insert joke about how hunched over he was s3 because aiden gallagher has been aging over these past 5 crazy years but he’s supposed to be playing a 13 y o boy). blue is also associated with calm- the man needs some calm in his life, à la that one part of s3. and last of all, sadness. i think most of us remember “HE’S LOVED THEM FOR LONGER THAN THEY’VE BEEN ALIVE” (link post cus i can’t find it) and he spent so long mourning his family, and is probably still mourning them.

og ben is probably the most underrated character imo, so i was excited for this one. i predicted red because of that one scene (UGHHH SO TRAGIC) when he was a kid and covered in blood like “can i go home now” (🥺). my dear mutual @/deadpeppermint from before left these thoughts:

blue and purple tied for first, with red and black in second. honestly the leather jacket? hoodie? thing? and generally emo vibe really lent itself to that lmao. i think purple and blue are also really good colors for him, because he is a king and also responsible as heck (or at least, he tries in comparison). i’m still crying over how he left in s2 ISTG BRING HIM BACKKKK (srsly tho line i want to make a post about his absence affected s3 ughfhfhfhfhfhh) but that brings us back to blue meaning sadness, and oh my lord does this boy represent grief!!! he’s soooooo <3

yes, ofc. obviously this is just a theory, not facts, but hear me out :

back in july, FB made a poll on their socials, asking players if they wanted eddie to return as a love interest in a future season. idk how they could've possibly redeemed him, but that doesn't matter because the answer ended up being hell no . of course, FB must've been shocked by that. me too. i mean, who wouldn't want to romance this ... dreamboat 😐

while we’ve never had a returning islander as an LI, we’ve had returning islanders . they’ve always been redrawn to fit the new season’s style (at least before FB decided to throw ivy & hamish as is into s7's sea of clashing art styles lol)

don’t have receipts for this, but i wouldn’t be surprised if FB already started redesigning him in anticipation of the poll result being a Yes . the majority of players didn't want him back, so anything like that would've had to be scrapped...unless they change up some things, make him a new character 👀

so basically my theory is they had a scrapped returning eddie design laying around, turned him into alex, it's more about their appearance than their personalities, but apparently eddie was gonna undergo a personality transplant anyways

returning islanders haven't been 100% faithful to their OG design, we've all unfortunately seen s5 bobby, but regardless i’ll point out the differences (that aren't caused by alex being drawn at a different angle)

their chins, eddie has a cleft chin

their lips, they’re actually pretty similar in shape, but eddie has a wider cupids bow

noses. again, similar shape, but alex's nose bridge is wider

hair colour ! clearly alex is brunette, but more on that later

not a similarity, but something i thought was interesting . alex is the only s7 guy that never had reused assets from youcef, because his body is from suresh

now the actual similarities:

face structure. jawline, ear shape, cheekbones. same facial proportions as well, like the distance between their mouth and chin

blue hooded eyes. eyebags too, it's just that alex's dont have any lineart

eyebrows. same thickness and very similar shape, same brow spacing as well . look at the glabella (distance between eyebrows) shading on both of them

their hairstyles . both have a side part, a bunch of spiky bits on the (viewer’s) left side, and hair swooping behind their head on the right side

those could all just be coincidences, but there's a mystery afoot, alex’s original eyebrow colour. it caused quite the uproar when he was revealed (it kinda grew on me, i think it's cute lol) so FB gave him a brow tint when the first volume dropped . not everyone's eyebrows and hair matches 100% irl, but in the (starting from s3) LITG universe, islanders' eyebrows correlate with their natural hair colour . we haven't had a bleached brow baddie yet, and imo, this was way too noticeable to just be a simple oversight . then i realised...his original eyebrows are the same colour as eddie's

I really love your Black family metas and over the years I’ve definitely become more interested in the family than I was when I first read the books. I always thought that Regulus was very interesting to me, because canonically we know very little about him, but ofc fandom has taken that to mean he can be either very softened or turned into a Death Eater at like age 11(I’ve read both of these lol). Anyway, I was wondering what you thought about how Regulus came to join up with the Death Eaters. I know a lot of people try to have him be forced into it(I think as a way to excuse his actions), but there’s no real evidence for that, and also in order for him to have a redemption arc(of a sort)- he needs to have done something wrong lol. I always thought that it was a mix of Regulus genuinely being interested in the DE’s and also Bellatrix(and perhaps Malfoy) seeing that interest and grasping onto it. So there could have been some manipulation involved for sure and peer pressure going on, but joining the Death Eaters was also something that Regulus did seem like he was interested in. Not to mention he literally has news clippings about Lord Voldemort hung up around his room- which Reg? Buddy? You good? He’s not James where you would probably have to like erase his mind to get him to join Voldemort’s side. Rather I think he was someone who already showed an interest/fascination in what Lord Voldemort was doing and this would make it easier for Bellatrix to use that to get him to join(and I wouldn’t be surprised if she used his parents as leverage too-like “This could make them proud,”). So I really do love him and I do think that there was some form of pressure/manipulation involving his joining of the Death Eaters, but I also think a lot of it was his own idea and that’s where he would need a redemption arc, because he did some bad stuff before his death. Also I’m sorry this is so long- I just have so many feelings about this subject 😂

I also don't see him as being forced into it. During Kreacher's exposition speech he literally says that Regulus joined willingly:

"he knew what was due to the name of Black and the dignity of his pure blood. For years he talked of the Dark Lord, who was going to bring the wizards out of hiding to rule the Muggles and the Muggle-borns . . . and when he was sixteen years old, Master Regulus joined the Dark Lord. So proud, so proud, so happy to serve."

So Regulus was talking about joining the Deatheaters for years before he actually did and had clearly bought into the surface-level ideology. It's interesting that Kreacher also includes 'muggles' and not just muggle-borns, so Regulus was fully up for a complete world takeover, not just a 'reform' of the wizarding world's intake policies.

I also don't think his parent's forced him. Even Sirius, who claims to 'hate the lot of them,' can't bring himself to actually call them Deatheaters. Although he does say that their pureblood ideologies primed Regulus for Deatheater recruitment. And going back to Regulus being 'happy to serve,' I think the proud and haughty Blacks would have been horrified at that alone.

I'm not sure if you're reading my WIP Pietas, but this quote (get me quoting myself haha) summarises what I think set Regulus up on his destructive path:

‘Of course, father,’ Regulus said, returning the smile as his pulse quickened in anticipation. He had been dreaming of this moment for years, the endless possibilities chasing each other around his head as he replied with a simple, ‘I am keen to hear both yours and grandfather’s plans for me.’

Orion nodded returning his goblet to the table, ‘Well, you will of course be expected to achieve both excellent OWL and NEWT results,’ he paused and allowed Regulus to nod.

Orion’s voice softened and he indulged in yet another smile, ‘And in the meantime, we will procure you a wife from an excellent family.’

Regulus nodded once more, despite the desire to question his father bubbling inside him. The anticipation becoming almost intolerable as it caused his heart to beat uncomfortably fast. The moments seemed to stretch into infinity, as he silently willed his father to continue talking.

‘As for your long-term future,’ Orion began, once more pausing to eat as Regulus suppressed the urge to throw a Sirius-esque tantrum.

‘Your grandfather Arcturus and I, feel a Black is needed at Hogwarts. As in recent years, that school has allowed too many dangerous ideas to fester and corrupt children from pureblood families.’

 His eyes pierced Regulus as they continued. ‘You will help tamper the nonsense down and one day you will become headmaster.’

As his father finished, Regulus took a large gulp of his wine and almost spluttered as his thoughts chattered over each other.

Disappointment clanged through him, leaving a hollow feeling in his chest. He had been hoping to help with his family’s political dealings. He had yearned to dedicate his life to something that would aide in bringing wizards out of hiding and help his family take their rightful place on the world stage. He had dreamed of the day when wizards could openly use magic and their superiority was acknowledged by all.

Annoyance rose in his chest, but determined to not act like his brother, he willed his emotions into check.'

I basically interpret him as someone who feels superior but lives in his brother's shadow. But is equally as determined and intense as his brother (the Note is as feisty as anything Sirius would write) and puts his beliefs into action. I interpret his defection as being about the Horcruxes rather than because he suddenly got all woke about muggles. I have a meta about souls here.

Also, his Voldy mood board can be interpreted as him intelligence gathering after finding out about Horcruxes- it's described as 'ragged', which is a contrast to the rest of his room (also Sirius gathers intelligence in a similar way in Gof). Or it could be that he walked into the DE's knowing full well what they were about and did so willingly because he was willing to spill blood for his ideals.

Two things your character regrets:

(During moments of self-awareness) he regrets the person he's become now. He knows his behaviour is unlikeable and indecent, because of this ofc most everyone around him hates him or is scared of him- which leads him to not being able to bring his kids out in public (or alternatively, he gives them a bad reputation when they become adults because of who they're related to) because he's scared they might get hurt as a result of people who hate him; he knows it's his fault for this outcome, but he hates everyone around him (that aren't his children) and just refuses to let go. He resents humanity for how much he has been pushed around, mocked and hurt physically in the past for just existing. He doesn't think anyone is worthy of recieving genuine kindness because deep down they're all just as disgusting as he is. This leads to ego and self-importance that makes him feel superior to others because he's not scared of showing just how revolting one can be + he's not human anymore + he's immortal + he can control/speak to hoards of cockroaches.

He also regrets having placed his distaste for humanity so high he's passed it down on his first generation of children. For the most part, this has caused a few of his children to distance themselves from him, like for example Judith and Kolvenik, which hurt him deeply. Kolvenik flat out blames his father and his hatred for humanity as to why he's developed his genetic disorder that has caused him to permanently shed off his human disguise as he got older (which is completely incorrect just to clarify; how Rotgut feels towards mankind has nothing to do with Kolvenik's genetic issue, he just hates and resents his father mostly as a form of projecting his own self-hatred living as a humanoid bug monster that can't have a human form).

Rotgut tries to better himself non-stop when it comes to raising his newest kids, because he wants to see them be happy and make friends and connections, be likeable and be liked by others regardless of what species they are, unlike him. This makes him a bit hypocritical since when he's on his own, he openly goes back to his old ways & antics- with his kids however he just kind of puts on a mask.

I think people using Euron teaming up with a woman theory due to Aeron's vision on Twow .But your speculation about him teaming up with the Others got me thinking .What about if that woman is the Other's queen or smth ? Similar with how a former lord commander of the night's watch (the night's king) was with and Other .

Wasn't the Nights King wife a Corpse Bride? That sounds like it'd progress the story towards War with the Others, give us more info about the Others, and fit the Horror Villain themes of Eurons story.

I think Euron could team up with a woman, like the Corpse Bride (he's after a "bride" afterall) but I dont think it'll be Cersei or Dany. I could be wrong about Cersei ofc but I'd be surprised. I'd want him to team up with someone to progress the story towards the War for the Dawn.

At first, I thought he would team up with Cersei to use the inevitable KL burning as a human sacrifice event but I dont like that actually. KL burning needs to be a direct result of Cersei's (and probably JonCon) decisions. This is her city, her fire, her throne and she's gonna burn it down before she let's anyone take it from her ... or something like that lmao. I dont want Euron to have an influence there, and its not needed bc we can clearly see where its all going with Cersei becoming Aerys 2.0, JonCon and the bells, the blacks versus the greens, etc. But if Euron isn't gonna have a part in KL burning then what's the point of him being in Cersei's story? That's the big event, the final showdown (for her) most likely.

I guess maybe he could still use it as a human sacrifice event depending on how the magic works but who the hell knows lol.

There's also Lady Stoneheart to consider, another Corpse Bride. Her future is largely unclear imo except that she's probably going to receive the gift of mercy from Arya. Until Arya shows up, who knows what's gonna happen with her? Euron could promise her death to every single Frey or something like that?

ANYWAYS! Yeah it's still certainly possible he's going to team up with a woman at some point, I just don't think it'll be Dany or Cersei. It's possible Aeron saw a potential future of Dany if she did join forces with Euron but, again, I don't think that's likely to happen. I think Euron will definitely try to reach Dany thru her dreams again (yay more creepy rape dreams for us to read 🤢) but I don't think that's gonna work out for him. In fact, I think Dany will recognize him from her dream and it'll horrify her. She's not even safe in her dreams until he's dead.

My main thing tho is that his team up has to progress the story towards the Others imo and I don't think an alliance with Cersei would do that unless it's to use KL burning as a human sacrifice, and I don't think that added motivation is necessary to build up KL burning. But that's just me and my opinion.

🕯️was there a fic that was really hard on you to write, or took you to a place you didn't think it would take you?

'Pretenders' hasn't been hard to write exactly, but it's definitely been very, very nerve-wracking to share- I started posting it last year just before my brand-new-to-sharing-fic adrenaline wore off and suddenly made posting any of my writing unimaginably scary lol, so I've been dragging it out for my poor readers ever since. But what happened as a result was, I was so surprised and reassured and deeply touched by the enthusiasm and generosity with which people ended up engaging with this story and their willingness to follow me into thorny and complicated places that it actually changed the fic's trajectory a little! When I started posting it, it was pretty much fully complete on my laptop- I was always more happy with the first half than the second, which felt slightly less interesting and unique to these characters to me. I thought the concepts of self-aware narratives and performance and "pretending" as an analytical lens through which to view Garak and the Garak/Bashir relationship was far more interesting than what I'd done with it, and I was right! I was already feeling the urge to rework the latter half- and midway through sharing the fic (somewhere around chapter 6 or so) I had the thought, wow these people are really engaging with my story so thoughtfully and intelligently, I want to give them something more intelligent to engage with! So while this fic's ending has remained unchanged from my original idea, the how-we-get-there of it all has gone through quite a few rewrites. I'm much happier with how this version is turning out- I truly treasure the fascinating conversations people have been starting in the comment sections too, they have inspired me to make this fic so much better <3

I turned off stats a long time ago, so I don't actually know what my least kudos'd fic is- if I were to guess, it's probably either 'The Trill with the Golden Gun' (which is an Ezri-centric jezri fic) or 'Under Your Skin' (which is very, very gen). Hmm... I like the former because I think it's conceptually interesting, there aren't many fics to my knowledge that focus on Julian/Ezri's breakup that aren't ultimately about Getting Them Together With The Actual Love Of Their Life (they do break up here, but only because Ezri joins Section 31 in a misguided attempt to take it down from the inside lol). I think some of the darker moments do actually work and I haven't personally come across any Section 31 fics that centre Ezri (though ofc I'm not assuming there aren't any!) so it's got uniqueness going for it at least. As for 'Under Your Skin'.... uhhhh it has a scene where Jake and Nog stink bomb a Changeling I guess? (I'm bad at this😂)

So here it is! (somewhat spicy concepts towards the end and there are cuss words used throughout)

-As I mentioned in previous part, Lo'ak is very insecure and therefore very territorial. In result of that, there is almost always some part of him touching you. Whether that be him holding your hand, a hand on the small of your back, an arm around your waist or shoulders, or his tail being wrapped around your waist or thigh. Not that you mind ofc. You love the fact that he always wants to be near you ❤️

-Lo'ak, again like said in previous part, is that he is especially attentive to your wants, needs, moods, etc. That being said, he almost never has a clue as to how to help you or what to do when those needs/wants/moods are difficult to interpret. He's good at knowing when something's amis but can't exactly pinpoint what. He's still pretty dense lol

-Lo'ak, once the initial shock of you accepting him wore off and he starts getting more comfortable, he becomes a terrible flirt. Like every chance he gets he's distracting you or taking what you're doing away from you so he can have attention.

"Oh, y/nnnnnnnn~" he'd drawl out as he wrapped his arms around your middle and rest his chin on your shoulder with the most innocent cheeky smile on his lips, the tips of his fangs playing peekaboo with his top lip.

Or

He'd sneak up behind you while you're working on something and snatch it out your hands to taunt you with it. Eventually you give up on trying to get it back and growl at him saying, "You have 5 seconds," before you start chasing him. You fell right into Lo'ak's trap. Now that he's got your attention, he won't let you go for the rest of the day so you guys just end goofing off and horsing around all day.

-Obviously after horsing around all day like previously mentioned or after a full day of chores and duties, y'all would be pretty tuckered out. Now when I tell you that Lo'ak is clingy when he's tired, I mean it. This man will turn into a literal man child if you try to escape his love. So just accept the fact that you're done for the day once he gets to you. Don't even try to reason with him because he'll just go all whiney on you. He'll cling to you so tight, that he's pretty much temporarily immobilizing you. I pray to Ewya for your soul if you still try to escape him...

"Nooooo! Why are you leaving meeeee!?" he'd whine as he encases your body fully with his own. Try all you want but Lo'ak won't be having anything other than his way right now.

-Lo'ak, as we all know, is a scheming, mischievous bastard. So don't be surprised when he doesn't play fair cuz he will not hesitate to use your weak spots against you.

-Lo'ak will trap you underneath him, using one of his large hands to pin both of yours over your head and using his legs to keep yours in place. He'll tuck his head in the crook between your head and shoulder, his lips just barely grazing your skin, his breath fanning over the width of your neck causing chill bumps to rise and a delicious shiver to run up your spine. Blood rushes to your face, making it flush as you realized the predicament that you are now in. None of this ofc will go unnoticed by the predator atop you. A smirk will make it's way onto his lips with all of this, all the while his tail swishing back and forth behind him as he stares down at you.

"Please stay...~" he purrs, his tongue lazily gliding over the curve of your ear. You suck in a sharp breath as your brain slowly grows fuzzy with each small action from your dastardly lover. You open your mouth to speak but freeze when you feel Lo'ak's other hand come up and lightly drag his fingers over the swell of your hip before squeezing gently.

"L-Lo'ak, quit," you manage to stutter out as you start to squirm under his touch. But Lo'ak's smirk only broadens as he watches yous struggle. He leans down and attaches his lips to the valley between your breasts, placing small, wet kisses all the way through. Your breath catches in your throat though you manage to curse at your boyfriend. He laughs at this, knowing he's won, and takes mercy on you. He releases your heads and plops himself down beside you, smiling smugly. You roll your eyes at him and gently tug at his tail before swatting at his head.

"Hey!" he'd exclaim, feigning innocence, minus his tail which sneaks around you and starts tickling you. You shriek and try to remove his tail from you to stop it's tickle assault. Once you both settle down though, you snuggle close to each other and just basking in each other's presence.

"I love you, you little shit," you mumble as you nuzzle your face into his chest, sleep already trying to take over. Lo'ak chuckles and kisses the crown of your head before returning your words (though said it nicer than you did lol) and closing his eyes, slowly falling into a peaceful sleep.

Honestly, I've just completely checked out from the Twitter sphere and the commentary around f1. To a certain extent sports media is always rife with hit takes but there's so little going on this season that it seems like everyone is just picking fights with everyone to muster up engagement. Life's too short, I'll check back in to see if Ferrari gets it's shit together next year.

You're a stronger soldier than me 😭💪🏻 I know a few people who consciously took a step back from following F1 or at least don't follow as closely or intensely anymore, whether that's not keeping up with news and commentary or not watching most of the sessions and just occasionally catching a race if they can or whatever. On one hand I envy that kind of approach, but on the other I don't know if I could do it. 🤔

Idk maybe it's weird but I tend to operate on a basis of having one major hyperfixation/fandom at a time, with maybe some smaller interests more in the background. But once I'm into something I'm like 110% invested and so other stuff kind of starts going under the radar. I think for me to check out of F1 I'd have to have something equally compelling lined up as a replacement hyperfixation to eat at my braincells and so far I haven't found anything like that.

Although some part of me is kind of like, well, maybe if I did check out we'd finally get an interesting season, because I swear the best narratives and memorable seasons happen exactly when I'm in that stage of not watching or having an F1 hiatus 😭😭 I started watching in early 2015, from the very first race of the season, so literally just missed 2014 by a few months...then I checked out of the fandom and started watching more sporadically as the hype around Charles to Ferrari was happening in late 2018. Of course then I end up having a lot of regret and guilt over it, which leads to FOMO and this compulsion to keep watching just in case I miss something big again. 🙃

From a Ferrari/Charles POV it's definitely a rollercoaster from watching him be firmly in the championship fight at the start of 2022 to then Ferrari having another slump in form where they're realistically performing at the level of a midfield team, seemingly have no explanation for their problems, are in a year of messy transition, etc. You can say the same for the downgrade from 2019 to 2020, but the latter was a weird season in general and there were some extenuating circumstances. At least the season still felt fun and we had some surprising moments. That one weekend alone in Turkey was much more memorable for me personally than any of the races we've had so far in 2023, lol. But I do acknowledge that it's not a one-size-fits-all kind of thing and your enjoyment will largely depend on who you're supporting. If your guy is winning it all then ofc you're going to have a different perception of the season.

I think for me, I could even look past the Red Bull dominance, because it's not the first time we've had a basically guaranteed 1-2 (2015 and 16 especially were often criticised exactly for the predictability and repetitiveness on the podium.) But give us an element of surprise??? Some spice??? (Barcelona 2016 you will always be famous.) Where are all the compelling narratives??? Where are the tasty teammate pairings??? Ferrari's not providing much excitement when it comes to performance and results, but equally the lineup has very meh vibes for me. Plus the drivers that had become a staple of my F1 fan experience just not being there anymore (Daniel and Seb). In conclusion:

okay yay uhh.. 2. favorite canon thing.. probably her personality and style honestly, I know she wasn't really popular when splatoon 2 came out but I've always kinda liked her and especially her style in the art books and splatfest art.. i'll probably go find some while looking for question 23 lol 12. I usually have a hard time coming up with headcanons but the translation error resulting in all the he/him idol memes is kinda funny to me, i never turn down a good trans headcanon lol, gotta project onto my favorite characters <3 so i guess if anything I'd probably see her as genderfluid or bigender or something like that, (not sure which label would fit best) which honestly kinda fits with some of her official art outfits tbh.. 23. ok time to go search.

i think this is one of my favorites probably just because of the upper half of the outfit and the pose (ik this was supposed to be some nike promo but I couldn't care less about that, I'm not a brand person and I usually only wear sneakers if I'm gonna be walking a while so my feet don't hurt lol.) But I might also have a bias because I liked redrawing some of the splatoon official art when I was younger and I really liked the way that drawing turned out. It was back when I did traditional art so I'm too lazy to go find it but, it was a fun way to practice and figure out my art style and stuff, I've definitely been inspired a bit by the official artstyle. Unfortunately Marina doesn't look the best in a lot of the official art mostly because lot of people have pointed out whitewashing which sucks :( but I can't be too surprised considering one of the official or brand liscenced plushies was so heavily whitewashed I'd have thought Marina was white if I didn't know anything about splatoon and saw that plushie lmao.. anyway i found more art i liked so i'm putting it here too

I like her more casual style in the majority of official art and I'm definitely biased considering I also wear really baggy t shirts and hoodies lol. with the mention of gender earlier ofc she can still be feminine and obviously clothes aren't inherently gendered and all but. I dunno I've always appreciated these outfits as more androgynous to me even before I realized I wasn't cis lol. whatever gender people hc pearl as we can all agree these outfits slay <3 it's very gender to me in a way I can't explain

Yeah Nwjns has an established fanbase now, which is what gave her more confidence to try and separate. Like regardless they’ll be fine with sales and streams, the blacklisting will result in them losing a lot of gigs and promotional opportunities, but there’s always people eager to get such a popular act. But how much of that fanbase is filled with ar**s and HYBE fans. As soon as you go against their precious multibillion dollar conglomerate, it’s over. Especially when the groups “CEO” is talking about getting a shaman to curse them fnfnfnkdnssnjs.

i honestly was surprised seeing how many nj stans seem to be willing to drop hybe …… ofc we would have to see how it reflects on sales but took me aback! she has definitely lost all support from armies tho lol if there’s two things they’ll stick by is hybe and *** and she managed to talk shit about both

Hii hannah!! It's me, the mysterious anon and I'm officially done with not just my exams but highschool! I got my results back few days ago and im surprised i almost got all As because during the last three exams I was literally reading will turner and lotr fanfictions more than my textbooks lmao 😭

I know I said it in the last ask I sent you but thank you so so much for accidently introducing me to will turner, remember how I fell down the rabbit hole? it seems i am still falling, but now in another rabbit hole named lord of the rings; yes I joined the lotr fandom! i was lookin for more orlando bloom movies and found out he played legolas and I started the series just for him lol,, really though the lotr universe is so beautiful!! ive always loved fantasy universes but was too lazy to actually start something classic like lotr but now that i've done it im feeling the hyperfixation literally running through my veins!! I ordered silmarillion and im like this close to ordering all the books in Tolkien legendarium even though im nearly broke lmao. and my bi ass is in love with everyone, especially the elves, came just for legolas but staying for all the tolkien elves and faramir, eowyn, sam and aragorn 😭 really though, I have barely read silmarillion yet i am in love with elves like ecthelion and glorfindel too 😭

i can't wait read more of your lotr work, so far, I've only read haldir fic (it was so cute!) and hobbit/doctor who one and im in love with that one!! i spend so much of my time thinking what if I were to accidently end up in my current hyperfixation universe. will I survive actually? Will I even be able to make eye contact with my comfort characters, or speak to them? unless somehow I get some kind of superpowers or immortality, i would likely die in the first fifteen minutes for sure haha. can't wait to read the second part of that story and how doctor fits into the story! Also mgime trope is actually so fun to read! after this one, I went to ao3 for more and im so in love with this trope im thinking about writing one myself! 

Just realising, It's funny thing, joining new fandom tbh ; i remember scrolling through your page in March and i had no idea who any of the lotr characters or potc characters were but now im in love with the lotr&potc universe and its all i can think about. do you mind, if i ask you how do you balance fandoms thing? you're in so many fandoms and i always wonder how you love them/give them time equally even after having so many other fandoms. in recent years I've joined many fandoms but every time I join a new one, i start loving the new one so much i  completely stop even thinking bout the old one. and it's incredibly silly i know but I feel like I'm betraying/cheating my old fandom and my comfort characters in a way by hyperfixating on whatever my current fandom is. 

Speaking of hyperfixations, also so so excited for David tennant in the 60th specials!! And donna n wilf!! I too will have to finish 13's episodes before November though. btw did you see the bts pictures of 15 and the new companion Ruby? It seems like we're gonna get good history episodes with the new doctor !! 

Oh also!! It's been officially a year since I started reading your fics! And today 29 May actually marks the day(technically night ig) I read the last parts of dying girl series. I still remember that day, I had finished watching stranger things' then new episodes, I was already crying because of The max and vecna episode and I decided to torture myself more by reading the series and cried more lmao.

Ahh cant believe its been a year, i remember being anxious to send you my request and all those asks and now I am actually talking to you! I am so glad I decided to check out your blog last May, one of the best decision ive made! If it werent for you, i probably would've never further watched doctor who, or started potc and lotr/hobbit series and just Tolkien's work tbh. Ik I've said it a lot of times but really though, thank you so much for introducing me to all these movies, shows, books and ofc, your writing. I've loved every single second I've spent on your blog and while watching these tv and movie series, idk how to exactly word this because english isn't my first language, but the time spent on your blog and while watching the shows/movies really is best time I've spent in my boring life, I've felt more alive doing that than I actually had while living my "life". 

Oh and I'm glad you had fun writing my domestic fic request! I would also love to read about the reader and doctors' in between adventures, hope you write about it and honestly, I'd love to read whatever you write, even if it isn't full fics, just random stuff like headcanons or draft ideas you had! And I would request bout it but I've already requested two fics and honestly, my brain feels too disconnected from the fic to give you ideas kinda stuff for the fic. I guess, its time to reread the series ; I hope I can get through it this time without crying though 😭

I still haven't finished watching all the potc movies, only two or three because I got into lotr, but more will turner content from you? So excited!! And yeah It is surprising that I haven't watched the movies because they are classic! but they actually came out before I was born/when I was really young so I didn't get to watch them at that time, plus movies, especially from outside my country weren't as accessible so my brain focused on what I had, the barbie and disney movies and tv cartoons.

Sometimes I honestly can't believe that all the movies/TV series I'm hyperfixating over came out so long ago and that I am watching and obsessing over them after like 15-20 years, that really is a lot of time! but tbh, I feel like this is how it was meant to be, yknow? I was meant to love these movies and characters rn, because maybe I needed them now more than I did back then. And as I said, I was barely a kid and didn't even speak English language, even if I did get to watch all the movies I don't think I'd even understand them lol.

Hello mysterious anon!

I think our trend will now be just randomly replying to each other every few months because 100% we both have busy lives.

I feel weirdly proud to have instigated some of your new fandom hyperfixations, I am so obsessed with too many. It is really hard to spread all my love/attention to so many.

I think I look at it like phases. I will always return to my old loves, but depending on my mood or phase in life I'm drawn to a certain fandom. I started rewatching Criminal Minds a while ago and got so reinvested in the show that I started writing a series with Spencer Reid {it's like 21k words right now and I haven't decided if I'm posting it or not}

And I started watching The Crown, so I've fully entered another time period phase and I want to watch all things Jane Austen. I read Sense and Sensibility recently because of it. I think I'm going to watch Little House on the Prairie for the time period drama. I might watch Poldark or Outlander or Vikings for the same reason.

I agree it's hard to move on to another fandom when you feel you're neglecting the others. I try to refresh my brain of my old favorites, like I remember the day I mixed up Death Eaters and Dementors and I felt so ashamed that I reread the whole Harry Potter series just to remind myself.

I guess I just do my best to acknowledge all of them and then be patient when I'm fixating on only one in particular. I find a balance when I'm writing fics about them because I'll rewatch something so I can get a feel for the characters before I write about them. But sometimes it is hard to write a request for a character that I am not currently obsessed with.

I'm glad you passed your classes and are hopefully moving on to bigger and better things {I know you are fandom wise}. I haven't been writing much the last year, but I do still check my activity frequently. We'll see what and when I'll decide to post next.

But for now, I wish you luck in life and hopefully the comfort you'll get from your new potc and lotr friends will get you through some of the tough times.
