Friends! I got a new desk!! & I love her!!!

I also decorated my wall with a little hodgepodge of posters and polaroids that I had been holding on to! I was afraid to hang them up for so long b/c of how particular I am about symmetry and balance and I wasn’t quite sure how I was going to achieve that with these pieces but then I took a pause, reminded myself that I had the power to change it if I didn’t like it (which is a concept that I struggle with b/c I tend to be hard on myself if I don’t do things perfectly the first time around), and just placed them wherever I felt drawn to and...I love how it turned out? I know it might seem silly but heck I rarely do things this freely and been so happy with the result, and if there’s anything to be learned from this it’s that perhaps I shouldn’t take life so seriously. Just gotta relax and let go ❤

hey hi hello!

hi everyone, i’m chels and my studyblr is @paperclps​. i’m 16 going on 17 in less than a month (ahh), and i’m going into my last year of high school soon!

i’m currently enrolled in the IB diploma programme, so the classes i’m taking are english language & literature HL, psychology HL, biology HL, chinese language & literature SL, economics SL, math SL, and theory of knowledge. aside from IB studies, i’m also taking the SAT, TOEFL, and IELTS tests as i would like to go study in either the USA or UK.

i’m still not sure what i would like to pursue in college, but through research i’m slowly figuring things out!

things i like include: graphic design, reading, writing, playing the ukulele, milk tea, mcu, hamilton, and youtube.

Hiya! You can call me Ari. I’ve known about the studyblr community for a while now, but finally decided to join in.

Some facts about me

I consider myself sixteen, but I’m technically still fifteen. I’ll be sixteen in December.

I’m Malaysian-Chinese and trilingual in English, Malay and Chinese (although my Malay and Chinese could use a lot of work)

I'm in Malaysian public school and currently studying in Form 4.

I consider myself a Slytherpuff (leaning more towards Hufflepuff) but I’ve actually gotten all four of the Hogwarts houses before on my test results.

But I’m definitely a proud Thunderbird.

Interests

Dance! Specifically ballet, but I hope to learn more dance forms in the future.

Books and movies, of course. I lean more towards fantasy and sometimes drama, but I’m willing to give anything a shot (except horror and certain kinds of paranormal).
