Am I the one that doesn't think Jennifer is a person, but actually the thing inside Ben? On Ben's tombstone there was a reference to darkness consuming him and we know that he died during a mission when he was a teenager, so I don't think it's a girl or someone he had a crush on, but the manifestation of his powers. Like, Ben was aware of the name Jennifer when Luther mentioned it and later when Viktor was in Ben's room, there are drawings all around that are fantastic, but rather simple, so I really do think Jennifer is the name of the monster, that it has its own consciousness, and the paintings are not of Jennifer but by Jennifer. İt would also makes sense if it grew a bit more peaceful or controlled in the Sparrow Universe than he was in the Umbrella one, thus their Ben wasn't killed by it.

hey... why does the academy have forty three bedrooms?
Reginald Hargreeves is an alien man with a chimpanzee companion/buddy/confidant and a robot caregiver and has seven adopted children. We come to learn he specifically chose to adopt only seven and no more, but why does the academy have forty three bedrooms... did he initially plan to have backups? Did he plan to take them all in?? Is that one theory of the forty-three miraculous babies being his actual spawn true??? Maybe even a prison of sorts???? Reggie my guy I need you to stop being a cryptic bitch for TWO SECONDS and give me an ounce of what goes on in your 4D chess of a mind.

Last night I wast thinking about how it would be hard to film the Jennifer Incident bc all the teen actors for the Umbrellas would look way older than they did at Ben’s funeral in s2, and bringing in new actors would be kind of weird and jarring, and then it hit me that the perfect way to show it would be through another animated sequence.
It doesn’t have to use the framing sequence of Allison telling the story to Claire again, like it was in s1, although that could maybe work if they do it right. The main reason I think it would be a good artistic decision to have it be animated instead of live-action, is because it would communicate that Ben’s death was such a painful part of the Umbrella’s childhoods that it’s hard for them to look back on the reality of it. It was so traumatizing seeing their brother die in front of their eyes that they can only look back in a simplified/less gory way.
I think it would also play into the fact that all of the Umbrellas, besides Klaus, have put their Ben on a pedestal since his death. Over time, they’ve washed away his flaws and embiggened his positive qualities. Instead of seeing the real Ben die, the Umbrellas, and us, the audience, would see a perfected/imagined Ben die.

TUA theory time! People most likely beat me to it already, but here we go
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Detail 1: The direction
Diego, Five and Lila are the only people who aren't facing front in the posters. Idk about you, but the direction they're facing can mean something. It always does. They could be working together again. It parallels them teaming up in S2, so that would be cool.
Detail 2: The briefcases
Whoever has briefcases down might have meaning as well. Allison, Lila and Diego have them down, and they are sitting. We know that those standing and holding the briefcases up will split from the family, and go somewhere outdoors.
Tumblr media
Oh, they are definately going somewhere.
There's a possibility that Klaus and Five would go see the world's biggest ball of twine. Luther and Viktor appeared to have seen something... Surprising outside. Though, Idk where they were in that "first look" photo.
Detail 3: The stickers
They all have names of places on their briefcases. There have been theories circulating that those are their birth places.
Some of them have the same stickers in their briefcases. Everyone except Five and Allison have a Hotel Obsidian or "H+O 1920" sticker.
Lila and Five both have "The Commission | Paradox Protocols" stickers.
Allison's 3rd sticker could be a symbol representing something in the show (maybe a place?), the hotel (O), the number 6, or an ability (Five's or Allison's)
Five's umbrella sticker isn't positioned upright.
Viktor's Hotel Obsidian sticker has a book symbol at the center, and words around the circle (so does Klaus).
Could the book be Reginald's? If he discovers another book that holds secrets (possibly about the Sparrows and the Hotel), this would be a parallel to when he found out about the truth of himself in S1.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I'm unable to make out the words aside from the Hotel's name (possibly fake name or another hotel that they mistake for Oblivion), "[?] luggage"? (Klaus' briefcase) and "The [?] street" (Viktor's briefcase).
Edit: Thank you @leave-the-pot-dear and @galaxyyy-stars for pointing out that Klaus' sticker says "guest luggage".

Okay hold on serious analysis/prediction time
Tumblr media
So this-
That means that presumably there are adult, well adjusted and spread out Hargreeves “clones” living in this timeline. First of all, the angst potential here
“Hey yall! This is what you could have been if your dad didn’t steal and royally fuck you up as kids!”
But the most interesting part IMO, is Five. He’s middle aged in this timeline! Just like the rest of them! Not a child, or a literal retiree, does this mean we get to see a regular adult aged five at some point??
And or does this mean that part of the season is them hunting down their alternate version selfs (hence the roadtrip and birth places!!)

Okay so, this is an entirely new timeline. New in the sense that reggie now owns half of the fucking city, he’s got his wife babe Abigail and the brellies don’t have powers.
But it goes beyond that, the Umbrella academy never existed, likely never existed back in the 60s either. The “Kennedy 6” never having been there.
Klaus doesn’t have his tattoos. Not just missing the umbrella one, because he wasn’t in the umbrella academy that didn’t exist, his hand tattoos too, because he wasn’t a human Ouija board, if he wasn’t a human ouija board surely he can’t have his skull tattoo, which means he wouldn’t have known Dave. This is like an entirely new universe rather than timeline.
But that makes me think, going off the idea that the commission killed Dave to send Klaus back to 2019, is Dave still alive, as an old man? Did he make it through the Vietnam war? (We aren’t even going to mention aids) is he living a happy gay life after all? Having never ever known Klaus or met him.
Allison made a deal with Reggie so she could have Claire and Raymond, so I guess, unfortunately, Dave hasn’t materialised in 2019 the way Raymond did. Cissy and Harlan never knew Viktor, Harlan never had to go through that shit (they’re very likely still on the farm :()
Leonard could potentially still be alive, (maybe he never killed his father? Or was that always going to happen?) Patch could still be alive etc

What Reg secretly thinks about Klaus
Tumblr media
Klaus didn’t progress in his abilities to conjure what now?
Vanya wasn’t the only kid with secret, hidden superpowers.
He’s not even worthy of being whole number four! He’s just number 00.04. A fraction of a number four.

Yoo I love that theory for five staying with viktor that would be epic
Wish I could take credit for it, my friend!
I’ve seen that theory floating around the hellsite and thought it sorta made sense, especially bc of all of the Umbrella folks, Viktor is the only one who can truly survive without powers and still have a normal enough life. Alison went full on Wanda Maximoff, Luther went off to find his love, Diego is busy with Lila, Klaus is Klaus…
Viktor is really the only one with enough experience with normal to a) get an apartment, b) get a job, c) support someone else, and d) do mundane shit like get groceries or get a bus ticket.

I don't think he's gonna actually kill any of them (knock in wood though) but it's wild we've feared five dying since season 1
Right??? I just feel like IF one of the siblings dies it’s going to be Five. From a narrative standpoint it makes the most sense, it’d have to be him or Viktor maybe? But Viktor’s entire arch has been about self discovery and learning to be ok with who he is so would be kind of depressing if they kill him off. Klaus could be interesting too! If they have him fully master his powers and die as a consequence except he’s the king of death so maybe he can manifest himself and ends up in umbrella Ben’s role… that would be fun.
But yeah, I have no idea how they’re going to end the show after s3 lol it could go anywhere. My bet is either they time travel to before the first apocalypse and Five dies OR they accept their messed up timeline and live together as one big happy family. Either way I hope we see umbrella Ben again :( miss him

spoilers ahoy
i've seen a lot of people say that five being the commission founder is ooc for him, but honestly i can see it. this latter of this season he was all about destiny and how he's tried to end the apocalypse like three times in a row and it's time to let nature run its course, yada yada yada, so i can imagine that progressing somewhere suspiciously commission shaped. for the most part though, i think for him to find the commission, he would have had to completely and wholly given up on his family. when we see 100-year-old five, he is all alone in the bunker. not even the bodies of his family around him, or pictures...he's all alone. and at the end of this season, he has lost his powers, he temporarily lost his arm, his sister allison didn't listen to his warning about touching the button, and all of his siblings go their seperate ways. he walks away from viktor. he's all alone. i don't think that he'll just go "oh yeah commission time" rn, but i think he could be pushed to it if he thinks there's no one worth saving from the apocalypse anyhow, since he would have given up on his family, and since trying to stop the apocalypse has always ended horribly for him. the question really is if he's at that point rn.
i think what they'll probably do is sprinkle hints and foreshadowing on five that makes him seem like "ohh no he's going the route of making the commission" or something along those lines and build it up over the seasons. maybe he even would form the commission to shake them out of this world in s4 where reginald is a super power (not literally) and he, himself, has lost his powers, but i doubt that because this show rarely answers ongoing questions like this in the season immediately after the questions are asked (take the "how did ben die" mystery for example).

I don't know if Allison is going to attempt to call Ray or call Claire/Patrick (likely the former) but either way it's gonna end in heartbreak

I wonder if Allison still has her powers. The others do not have their powers and we can probably guess it’s because of the machine that were taking away their powers (Note how the particles that came off them were the same that made their mothers pregnant) but Allison wasn’t part of it and was the one to press the button, I wonder if now, she could still have her powers.

*shoots up in bed in the middle of the night* DEATH PATTERNS IN TUA!!!
So obviously everyone knows that each season has similarities to the others (apocalypse, taking place over ~a week) but I haven’t seen anyone bring this one up yet. Each season has had a True Death and a Fake Death.
The True Death happens to a major side character in the middle of the season (Eudora: 1.04, Elliott: 2.06, Harlan: 3.05), and the Fake Death happens to one of the siblings near the end of the season (Allison: 1.08, Ben: 2.09, Luther: 3.09).
The True Death is true. The character is dead and gone.
The Fake Death is fake- the character always comes back. I’m using that term pretty loosely, obviously, because, although I thought they killed Allison the first time I watched S1, she barely goes to the brink of death, Ben was already dead and just goes into the light, and Luther actually dies but comes back. However, they’re all connected in the way that we think that these characters Are Not Coming Back, but then they do.
I think this pattern could lead to some fun, but not really solid, predictions/theories. I think the True Death will be nearly impossible to guess, 2/3 times it’s a character we’ve met that season (although does that really count for S1 because we’re meeting all the characters that season?). The only real options we have for True Death theories at this point are Abigail, Ray, and Claire (and, I guess, technically Reginald, but he’s probably going to be the main villain again).
Frankly, I think the Fake Death will be hard to guess too. We can eliminate 3/7 siblings on the list, but there’s no reason they won’t give one a second Fake Death, and there’s not really anything tying the Fake Death characters’ stories from each season together (I’m sure if you go full conspiracy theorist you can find connections there, but I don’t think the similarities are intended).
Anyways, this was just a fun pattern I noticed and wanted to share.

Horrible screenshot but! This makes me think that it’s a facial/retinal recognition scan (which I wouldn’t put past them because of Reggie’s tech monocle in the comics), and he’s unlocking something that the Sparrow timeline’s Five is able to access…,..,thinking thoughts
