-One of the most recent of the Kamen rider series and a very cool epic one too! Awesome suits, great characters, a twisting turning plot and LOTS of action!

Premise: Unbeknownst to us, a secrect competition, THE DGP: THE DESIRE GRAND PRIX, is held where, everyday normal people are chosen, given transformation buckles and become Kamen Riders! Using various power up buckles, they compete against each other in various challenges, battling strange otherworldly invaders called the Jyamato! The one lasts to the end and wins the final challenge receives the grand prize: their greatest desire granted!

-Ace Ukiyo, aka Kamen Rider Geats, is the reigning champ, winning the Grand Prix multiple times in a row; however, his motives are not what they seem! Is he a hero or villain? How and why is he continuing to compete? What are the Jyamato? How is the DGP able to do what it does, and what is the true reason for the completion? You’ll have to check it out on TokuSatsu or Tubi to find out!

“You aren’t thinking of jumping, are you?”

Neon jumps, though not in the direction implied, turning to the surprise voice. And there is Ace, impeccable as always, but the worry blatant in his eyes. She doesn’t deserve it. She doesn’t deserve anything, she is nothing—

Ace comes and sits next to her.

“Well, Nago?” He asks.

“I… no,” Neon says.

She’s lying. She’s not lying. She… She’s not sure. It’s been a week since she turned… 19? 11? Is she alive at all? The whole time’s been a fugue state.

She told Kyuun to leave. He looked at her worried, but he left.

This is the first time she left her hotel room, since. She just wandered, and she ended up here.

“I do enjoy the views from on high,” Ace says. “And you?”

Hero Star (Title Pending)

Keiwa becomes an idol, and he and Ace make an announcement.

A/N: Inspired by the "wish" Keiwa made in the 2nd part of the Desire Grand Prix's bonus stage of "becoming an idol".

"Let's give it up again for the Hero Star, Sakurai Keiwa!"

"Arigatou! Arigatou!"

It's been months since the entire Desire Grand Prix ended with Sueru's defeat at Ace's hands. It was a grueling fight that needed the help of the previous Desire Grand Prix Riders, who weren't already slaves to Sueru's power.

The bottom line is that they won.

They may not have won the fight unscathed, especially Keiwa, but the most important thing was that they won and they won without any casualties on their end, even any casualty on Sueru's end that were from the present era.

Nowadays, Keiwa was known as the 'Hero Star'. It's not as grand as Star of the Stars of the Stars, but he became a celebrity nonetheless.

"While no one remembers your fight with Kekera, some may have recognized you, I remember Sara-san saying that you had volunteered many times for disaster relief operations, and they subconsciously connected that with how you tricked Kekera into believing you were losing that fight."

Keiwa remembered the explanation Ace gave him, which to him still didn't add up.

Keiwa exited the stage, done with his performance when someone greeted him.

"Yo, heroic star."

"Ace." Keiwa acknowledged.

"How's life as a star?"

"You forgot to mention how busy it was, you made it look so easy."

"That is what being a star is like," Ace shrugged. "Still, I'm glad you're doing well."

"I still don't buy the connection with my disaster relief volunteer work would be connected to Kekera's supposedly forgotten broadcast," Keiwa stated as he removed his jacket and loosened his green tie. "And I don't remember doing anything remotely heroic after the DGP."

"But you did remember the future people who attacked our present after the DGP?"

"The one Neon-chan and Michinaga-san responded to?"

"Guess who was filmed coordinating the evacuation of people and cheered up the children while stranded inside a building?"

"Wait, I was filmed?"

"Why do you think you were scouted to become a star?"

"But you said…"

"Admittedly, I didn't know you were filmed when you were stranded inside a building when the attack happened." Ace smiled. "I asked around, and from what I saw, you can act."

"Yeah, well, the children were really afraid and everyone else needed a boost in morale." Keiwa shrugged. "So I did what I think I needed to do."

"I am still confused why you didn't join the fight." Ace spoke as more people exited the stage.

"I don't know the details, but Neon-chan said it was Beroba related so I relented." Keiwa shrugged.

"Didn't Beroba accost you when they gave those Riders their ID cores and Drivers back when your wish was granted?"

"That was mostly Kekera," Keiwa shrugged. "For some reason, Beroba was really obsessed with Neon-chan, she was seething when Neon-chan defeated her premium form."

"Okay, everyone, the person everyone has been waiting for, let's give it up for the Star of the Stars of the Stars, Ukiyo Ace-sama!"

"That's your cue, Star-sama." Keiwa teased as he pushed the other man to the stage.

Keiwa watched Ace as he greeted and performed for the audience that he had performed to earlier. He knew he didn't deserve the man's forgiveness; after all he has done to him and his family.

Keiwa knew what he did was unforgivable, no matter the circumstances of his actions; being tricked into doing what Jitt wanted him to do, unforgivable nonetheless.

And yet he doubled down on it.

"Keiwa-kun, we need to remove your tie and wear this."

The stage manager's voice pulled Keiwa back to reality as he followed the manager's instructions and wore the clothes he was supposed to wear.

"And now, let's call back the Hero Star, for a big announcement with Star of the Stars of the Stars!"

Keiwa ran back on stage, in front of a number of people, and waved at them before running towards Ace.

"Ace-sama!"

Keiwa jumped into Ace's arms, who immediately caught the other man flying towards him.

"Did you miss me?" Keiwa blinked his right eye.

It seemed like Ace took the hint and immediately grinned.

"Of course, I did, my sweet Keiwa," Ace pressed Keiwa's nose. "So, how was the school trip?"

"It was amazing! I wish your class went with ours and we could have enjoyed it together." Keiwa replied before planting a kiss on Ace's cheeks.

Ace was caught off guard by the kiss. He didn't think Keiwa would be so bold to do that in front of so many people.

"So how was that for a teaser everyone?" Keiwa got off of Ace's arms and faced the audience.

"That was just a mere teaser!" The MC exclaimed. "That's right everyone, our Hero Star and our Star of the Stars of the Stars will be starring in a drama together where they will be lovers."

"Here's the trailer for the drama!" Ace announced as he gestured to the screen.

"Who would've thought Keiwa and Ace would be starring in a drama together, as lovers no less!" Neon commented.

Neon, Michinaga, and Win were at the very front of the stage watching the event unfold, which meant they got front-row seats when Keiwa kissed Ace's cheeks and caught Ace off guard.

"No one even thought Tycoon would become a star like Geats is." Michinaga scoffed.

"I mean he's good at acting like a different person." Neon offered. "I remember when he tricked Girori-san in the fox hunt game."

"You mentioned that," Michinaga looked at his companion. "Was it really that impressive?"

"Ace was totally fighting to save his life, and Keiwa made it look like he was out for Ace's blood," Neon stated. "If it fooled the game master, who knows how many people Keiwa could have fooled if he was really in the game to win it."

"Tycoon managed to trick Geats one more time on stage earlier," Win chuckled. "That kiss on the cheeks totally caught him off guard."

I want to see my mother was the wish he tried to write. It had not reached her but the sheer closeness pulled her into some sort of awareness. Then instead he wished as though making plans.

Yakumo Eisu, that was his name, and he shone like a star, and he won. Had he been looking for her all this time?

She wants to reach him, to tell him to let her go. If he’s angry, to apologize. If he’s lonely, to comfort him.

She can’t, but she manages to watch. She manages to see there are more of them.

They travel through time with her, and she builds a place in her mind that is not dark. A beautiful sky and fields of flowers.

She spends most of her time laying between them, when she isn’t forced to grant wishes, or listen to the staff.

She thinks I never wanted this. She thinks about her partner’s body, cold… dead. She thinks about her own body twisting and warping, turning to stone as wings grew from her back and her former coworkers circled her as she screamed. She used to like some of them.

It had taken them weeks to find a way to control her, weeks of torture, knowing her son was alone and her partner erased.

She never wanted any of this, but people still die, and souls still rip through her.

It gets worse the first time she sees an Ace before the one who wished to see her. His name is A, with a face that is not his, red hair and blue eyes, and he wishes to know if she is alive.

I am!

She screams it. She wants to say the opposite, wants him to heal.

Ace can speak now. He must have been forced to, and that hurts, too. Her quiet little boy with the bright and clever smile has become a charismatic man who seems so empty. It is 1 AD and yet he is grown, so he must not have survived losing her.

Decade ago now, she wished to have a child with the man she loved. She broke the rules and unlocked untold power.

And now her son is chasing her. Across centuries…

She never wanted this. She says it over and over as he sets his second wish, looks for her and fails.

“Mother!”

I’m here, Ace.

I’m sorry.
