i think these dates would include something like playing video games throughout the night, or having funny conversations together

you didn’t even accept her other influencer friends not wanting to be associated with them. it wasn’t that you didn’t like them or anything but you didn’t really like the vibe they were always giving you.

you have heard about him. you weren’t a fan of stranger things, like at all. you didn’t watch it as you saw clips of it and it just didn’t peak your interest. however, sophie loved the show and would always try and get you to watch it. but it never worked.

“i didn’t know you were friends with him.” you say as you put your phone having died in the game. “well now you know.” she said as she smiled.

you sent a smile to all the people watching before getting up to get a snack. “you want something?” sophie shook her head.

when you entered the room again, sophie was talking to someone. “did you end the live already?”

“no, i’m still on. i guested noah, stupid head.”

you stick your tongue out at her and sit beside her. you turn on the tv and watch whatever was on not really having interest in your friends conversation.

you didn’t hear the voice as you were very focused on what was happening in the show. sophie noticed and nudged you a bit.

“what.” you grumble as you didn’t want to miss what was happening. “noah said hi don’t be rude.”

you resist the urge to roll your eyes and grab sophie’s phone. “hi noah.” you held the phone at an angle that you liked, not wanting to look bad in front of thousands of people.

noah let a smile take over his face when he saw you. he’d never tell sophie this but he’s had a thing for you ever since he stalked sophie’s account when they first became friends.

he was scrolling through her pictures when he came across a picture of you. it was birthday post she had posted pictures of you in front of your birthday cake.

you looked utterly beautiful in the photo. a huge smile on your face as you had spent the day with your friends and family.

he requested to follow you but wasn’t accepted. he had remained requested for quite a while. he just thought you didn’t want to do anything with him. but when he asked sophie about it she had told him that she never checks her follow request as she didn’t want “famous” people following her.

noah couldn’t help but feel his heart sink just a bit when he realized that she may never talk to him.

“hey! how are you?”

he slightly cringed at his voice. he had a deep voice but right now it was really high pitched. it only ever happens when he’s nervous or excited. right about now he was nervous.

you let a small laugh. “i’m good actually. how are you? i’ve heard that you’re pretty famous.”

“that’s great! i’m doing okay,

i wouldn’t say i’m famous though.”

yours and sophie’s laugh could be heard. “are you kidding?” sophie asked as she moved her head into frame, eyeing noah.

“yeah. aren’t you part of like one of the biggest shows right now?”

noah couldn’t help but let out a laugh at your words. “yeah i guess you could say that.”

“well, i’m going to let you go back to talking to soph. it was nice talking to you!”

noah tried to hide his disappointment as your face was gone from the screen. “wait!”

sophie looked at noah before handing the phone back to you. “could you accept my request? i’d like to talk to you more.”

this was it. he was finally shooting his shot. well, not technically but it was a start. you couldn’t help but let a confused look take over your face before smiling. “sure.”

and with that you gave the phone back to sophie. she sent you a look before talking to noah.

he couldn’t help but wonder if your answer was sarcastic or if you actually meant it. he had come to the conclusion that he’d just have to wait and see if she accepted him.

after sophie ended the live, she eagerly turned to you. “oh my god! he totally has the hots for you.” you pause the show and look at her confused.

you click on the follow request and you finally see all the people who want to get into you account. “accept my friends y/n!” sophie says as she sees all her friends wanting to follow her. “no, i told you i don’t want them following me.”

you’re met with a bunch of fanpages for him and have to scroll a bit but eventually find his account. you press accept and follow him back.

Part 1 of 2

Writer's block is being rough on me, so the only thing I was able to create lately was a short story of my MC Clover and Leviathan. It shows their adorable friendship as they experience an idol live show together.

One evening, the demon of Envy, Leviathan, made his way to the human exchange students' room. The human girl Clover had borrowed a manga from him, but it happened that Levi needed that exact book right now.

As he was strolling through the hallways, finally he reached the door, so he knocked like a polite creature before coming in.

"Hey" Levi called out into the room. "I need that Ruri-chan manga back for a sec. Some idiot Normie posted stupid fake information on the fanclub's Devcord server and is not believing me when I tell him he's wrong, so I need screenshots to prove what a fake fan he is lolol."

As he had been more eyeing his D.D.D. than paying attention to his surroundings, he only noticed at the end of his comment that a pair of unpleasantly surprised eyes were staring back at him. Levi raised his eyebrows, puzzled, looking back at Clover sitting on her bed, only being illuminated by the small lamp on her bedside table.

Just so making out her reddened eyes, paired with how she was hugging her legs, the demon immediately understood that she was crying.

"C... Clover?"

"A-ah, Levia-tan..." she mumbled, quick to put away the used tissue in her hand. Sniffling shortly, she sprung up in the next moment, walking over to her desk. "I didn't get to read this chapter yet, so I'd like to have it back after you've shown that peasant what a real Ruri stan looks like..."

Handing him the manga, Clover put on a very unconvincing smile.

Unsure how to react, Levi took the book but kept giving her a worried look. "Are you... okay?"

The girl only gave a nod.

"B-because you look, uhm..." Levi could have punched himself for being so bad at social interactions. "Were you crying just now?"

A flash of panic crossed Clover's face, but in the end, she assured him she was fine.

"It's embarrassing but I was, uh, crying over a stupid video. So nothin' to worry about, really!"

Holding the door open, she kind of gestured for him to make his leave, so Levi stepped out into the corridor again.

"Now go get that loser's ass", she cheered, but as she closed the door, Levi caught a tiny glimpse of the frown that was forming on her face.

The demon had planned to go back into his room, yet somehow he found himself in the kitchen instead. Turning his head to the fridge, he spotted Beelzebub head-deep in the ingredients for tomorrow's lunch.

Levi's younger brother noticed his presence when Levi let out a troubled sigh.

"Huh? Levi?" Beel shot him a glance. "Are you hungry, too?"

"Like there would even be anything left for me to eat!" Levi hissed, mustering how Beel's cheek were filled to the brim like those of a hamster. "No, I..." He let out another sigh. "Did something happen to Clover? She seemed really down just now and behaved all weird."

In an instant, Beel stopped his scavenging and closed the fridge to turn towards his brother.

"So you think so, too..." Beel said. "I noticed it when we returned home from RAD today, so I wanted to cook something to cheer her up."

Levi let out a huff. "Doesn't look like you had success in doing that..."

However putting his sarcasm aside, he asked whether Beel knew any reason for Clover's sadness.

"I think she had some stressful days" Beel explained, scratching his head as he actually began to prepare said food. "She had a lot of projects to hand in for her additional courses lately. And it seems the grades she got weren't quite what she expected. Or what she deserved for the amount of work she put in, honestly."

Nodding to himself, Levi indeed remembered that the human girl had been working until late recently. He crossed his arms. "But their grades aren't really that important to the exchange students, right? There's no need to cry over that."

For a while, they remained silent, listening to the veggies sizzling in the frying pan.

Then, Beel spoke up again.

"You know how she is" he said. "She was very passionate about it, and now beats herself up for not doing well enough."

Frowning, Levi narrowed his gaze. "But then why didn't she tell me about it? I thought we were friends..."

Beel had returned to the fridge, originally to grab the next ingredients, but ended up stuffing half of that into his own mouth.

"I thought you of all would understand her reasoning the best" he grumbled into the fridge.

"Huh? What do you mean?"

So Beelzebub shot him another look.

"Aren't you afraid of people thinking low of you, too?"

That evening, Beelzebub continued to take care of the human girl. He had managed to cook her a delicious meal and stayed with her to watch some movies.

Levi was amazed to see how easily his brother had managed to lift her spirits. Overall, it had surprised him to hear how well Beel knew about her feelings in the first place.

But what troubled Levi the most were Beel's last words before he had knocked on Clover's door:

"She'll probably stay this sad for longer. It would be great if you could help, too."

The next day, the avatar of Envy didn't feel like gaming at all. He forced himself to do his daily log-ins to his thirty-ish online games, but his mind kept wandering off to the happenings of the last evening.

Why would anyone think low of Clover because of school grades? Why would she be that sad, even if she put a lot of work into it?

She was his confidant. His friend. That alone meant she had to be a person worthy of one's time.

So... Why would someone like her ever worry about not being good enough?

Lying in his bed/bathtub/really-unsuited-sleeping-spot, Levi bit his lip.

He understood what Beel had meant now. The more he tried to understand Clover, the more he spiralled into self-loathing, toxic thoughts that he knew all too well himself.

And just the thought that Clover might be pained by this nonsense made him so angry that he couldn't focus on anything else than searching for a way to cheer her up.

Grumbling and brainstorming, his messy thoughts suddenly saw a spark of hope when he read a notification on his D.D.D.:

'Aqours 4th LoveLive! ~ Sailing to the Sunshine ~ -- Tickets for sale NOW!!'

Eyes wide, he had this hesitation of "that's too good to be true" when his thumb lowered to press the "see more" button.

But the second after, his otaku mode activated. Baving opened his five favourite websites for booking concert tickets in an instant, Levi was determined to get two tickets for this live show...

Naturally, the period of buying tickets and the actual concert were painfully far apart.

At first, Leviathan wanted to keep it a secret that he had obtained two premium seats for the Aqours concert.

However, Clover's state seemed to worsen as time went by. New things kept piling on her head, and one disappointment set the requirements for her to fail whatever she aimed to do next. It might not seem that bad to others, but as someone who is struggling with his self-worth himself, Levi could guess that Clover's mindset had to be suffering more and more.

So one day, he decided to tell her about the tickets.

Spam-calling her until she would angrily stomp into his room, Levi was waiting for her, the tickets ready in his hands.

"Levia-tan, I'm BEGGING you, if I tell you 'I'll be there in a minute', please don't call me another fifteen times to make sure I wasn't ly-"

She went silent the second her eyes landed on the tickets.

The demon couldn't hide a cheeky grin.

"You were supposed to hurry, Normie" he mocked. "Feeling your concert tickets the second they're out of the printer is a NECESSITY!"

Clover wouldn't respond.

In all honesty, she COULDN'T respond.

Every time she opened her mouth, she was too baffled to press out a single tone.

"Here, this is yours" Levi said as he handed her one ticket. "It's still long until the day of the live show, so make sure to keep this somewhere safe! Ah, you know, actually... If you store the ticket in your room, Mammon might find it and sell it, so it might be for the best if I keep your ticket here with mine... C-Clover?!"

The girl had taken hold of the ticket, staring at it while Levi was rambling. But she had puzzled him when suddenly, tears were dropping on the piece of paper.

"I-is... Is this for real...?" Clover asked with an incredibly thin voice.

"W-wah..." Levi panicked, softly tugging the ticket out of her shaking hands. "It's all wet now... But I guess I can just print it out a second time..."

"Am I... really... going to... Japan...? To... a live show of... of A-aqours...?" Clover asked with a trembling lip.

"You bet!" Levi cheered. "I've been trying to get these tickets for HOURS! It was really tough, but you should never underestimate my Otaku skills!"

"I've... I've always dreamed of... experiencing a live show in person..." Clover continued to mumble. "And now you're being... So kind... What did I do to deserve this..."

Grabbing his phone, Levi tapped on his messenger app to show her something else.

Confused, Clover was looking at Levi's chatroom with Solomon. In his own excitement, Levi had to tell it before Clover could finish reading.

"And don't worry about the language issues. You'll be able to understand it all!" He babbled. "Solomon will do his best to mix you a potion to help with that! See it as subtitles, but send directly into your brain lolol."

The demon grinned from ear to ear,

and, well, expected that the human would do the same...

Or at least, he really didn't expect for her to suddenly burst into loud sobbing, pressing her hands against her face as she couldn't stop crying.

"O-oh..." All colour left Levi's face at once. "Are... Uhm... Are you not happy?"

Looking back and forth between her, the tickets and his phone, he was frantically trying to figure out the reason for her outburst.

His heart broke into pieces as his own toxic mind gave him an answer.

"Oh..." Levi pressed out. "I didn't ask you if you even want to go there if it's with me..." Now he felt really stupid. In all his preparation and anticipation, he forgot what a yucky creature he was. "Uh... I guess... I mean I can understand if you don't want to, it must be really embarrassing to go outside with someone like me, so, y-you can... take someone else along i-if that will make you stop crying... I was looking forward to it, but making you smile again was my utmost priority, so I would... You can... go with, like, Beel or som-"

"L-levia-tan?" Clover suddenly pressed out, not looking up though.

"Y-yes? Are you mad at m-"

"Can I hug you?"

"... Eh?"

"P-please...!" Clover's head shot upwards as she met him with a pleading, crying face. "I d-don't know how to respond to this... this wonderful gesture... I'm..." Not able to hold herself, she engulfed Levi in an embrace.

"I'm so happy..." Clover sobbed into his shoulder. "Thank you so much... Levi..."

Now Levi was the one at loss for words. With cheeks painted a bright pink, he awkwardly wrapped his arms around her body.

"S-so... You're okay with going with... with me?"

"Of course! I'm flattered that you'd even thought of inviting me..." The girl pressed out, slowly letting go of him.

And finally, a grin was spreading on her face again."Please teach me everything I need to know about lives, Levia-sensei!"

The sight was so contagious that Levi was smiling himself.

"Yes! Leave it to me!!"

For the following weeks, the two of them spent huge parts of their free time preparing for the live show.

Leviathan taught Clover all there is to know about using glowsticks: from the shaking technique that destroys your arms and wrists the least, to ultra orange glowstick usage and cycloning. They listened to Aqours' songs so much that at some point Clover remembered all their lyrics perfectly despite not even speaking the language. Additionally, they looked into older live shows to learn where the crowd would engage in which kind of chanting.

"Waah, no, I can't that part of the first live show... I'll cry, Levia-tan...!" Clover had whined.

"Ah, do you mean the performance of 'Omoi yo Hitotsu ni Nare'? Where Rikyako messed up her piano play?"

"Yes... It was so brave that she learned playing piano from scratch just for that song... But then the poor girl was so stressed, messed up and started sobbing... That part just kills me, especially when the rest who were performing the dance came to comfort her... Ugh I love them all so muuuuch..."

The house of Lamentation was glad to see the human girl had regained her joyful energy. Even if, after a few weeks, their patience was being put under the test...

To give a short input:

When greeting the audience at the beginning of the live show, each idol introduces themselves and engages in a unique call and response with the crowd to get everyone pumped.

And so one day, Levi went to Clover saying this:

"We also need to practice our responses to their character introductions! From this day onwards, I will randomly initiate one of the girls' calls, and you have to respond correctly!"

So... Yeah. The other inhabitants of the house didn't quite understand what any of those "Ganbarubyyyy"s or sudden "BUU BUU DESU-WA"s meant, but eventually, even they remembered some of the call & responses.

... Just that not everyone was so amused by the whole ordeal as Leviathan seemed to be.

Not when Clover was preparing breakfast with Satan in a great hurry (because SOMEONE ate what they had prepared earlier...).

You can imagine that, when already stressed out, Satan wasn't really happy over his older brother dashing into the room, shouting a random "KAN KAN" from the top of his lungs.

"Mikan!" Clover had correctly responded, however quiet as she was fully aware of Satan's anger level.

However, as this particular call & response repeated three times, Levi continued to animate the human girl, going once again even louder: "KAN KAN!"

"M-mikan..."

"Come on, I can't hear you... KAAAAN, KAAA-"

He couldn't finish his chanting as Satan had thrown a devil-blood orange right into his face with such force that it pulled Levi off his feet.

"HERE, HAVE YOUR FUCKING MIKAN AND LEAVE!!"

[Mikans are small, japanese oranges (´ ∀ ` *)]

Finally, the day of the concert had come.

Asmodeus had made it his mission to plan Clover's outfit so she'd be as "dazzling as the girls on stage". Levi had been prompting her to go with comfortable, practical clothes instead, so they had to find a middle where neither of them would complain.

Once all done, some of the brothers came to muster the soon leaving duo.

"Hm... Are you sure you don't want to put on any make up, darling?" Asmo asked Clover after doing his final check.

"Absolutely. I will be in tears the second Aqours' enters the stage, so there's no point in that."

Standing in the doorframe, the avatar of Greed gave a huff.

"Isn't that skirt a bit too short? And that whole outfit... No, you can't go out like this."

"Huh?" Clover turned to him in confusion. "Why not?"

"It's way too eye-catching!" He grumbled. "What if some filthy human makes a move on you?"

The girl gave a slight chuckle. "I go to school with incubi and succubi, Mammon. I think compared to that the human world should be pretty safe."

"B-but...!" Mammon wanted to protest, but Beelzebub covered his brother's mouth to silence him.

"I think you look cute" He beamed Clover an encouraging smile. "But be careful nonetheless. Levi, take care of her."

"Y-yes! I will!"

hey! i’ve been into dragon age for a little while but i don’t have nearly the same grasp as you do so i was wondering...how do you build your knowledge? do you have any recommendations for someone looking to get deeper into the lore and how to remember it all?

Hi there! Welcome to the fandom. This is a great Q. hmm.. my knowledge was pretty much built by like.. by accident and as a result of passion/obsession? I found DA in 2010ish. It’s mostly born from having repeatedly played the games and reading/rereading the books/comics etc, like from incidentally loving the world and the setting so much that endlessly poring over, discussing, thinking, posting etc about the lore naturally ended up being sth I spent a lot of time doing. like that was just gonna be the natural outcome for an obsessive person like me who happened to fall in love w/ the setting. at a point it probably becomes more easily remember-able because the way the world and lore is constructed is that it’s cleverly layered and interwoven, like it all links and ties into itself like uhh.. like a giant mindmap, or a spidogram. (struggling to explain what I mean sry)

That said, a natural suggestion is to do a slow playthrough of the games starting from the beginning, paying special attention to the codex entries you find and such as you go. try different options in dialogue or different choices, as quite a fair bit of things aren’t shown or revealed until you investigate the different eventualities. if you’re finding it or parts in general dry, find an entry point, a jumping off point, that grabs your interest most, like a gateway drug (lolol) - like for me that was elfy stuff - and branch out from there.

aside from that, the Dragon Age wiki is a great resource. it’s free, extensive and regularly updated. on the Dragon Age subreddit (it has a Lore and Theories flair for ease of navigation) and especially in related places like r/Thedaslore there are a lot of cool and interesting threads and exchanges where people discuss and theorize about the lore in-depth. same goes for other community discussion places like the unofficial BSN. I think in a general sense, the more someone spends time participating in a DA-focused, discussion-heavy community, or at least browsing and digesting, the more stuff is likely to stick. aside from my blog, there are some other super grand Tumblr blogs along these sorts of lines I’d recommend following or browsing: @dalishious is one, @wyrdsistersofthedas (navigation page link) is another. in a general sense browse peoples’ DA meta tags; a lot of DA meta follows the same lines of thinking. the books World of Thedas volumes 1 & 2 are ofc great foundational primers on the lore of the world. if videos/audio learning is more your style, the YouTube channel Ghil Dirthalen has a series where they narrate/read out the codexes, reminiscent of how the codexes in ME1 were narrated. sometimes being presented the information in a different format to reading text on a screen helps with it sinking in. speaking of YouTube, there are channels which post or posted lore-heavy vids which sum up, present or examine lore, or theorycrafting vids. The Kingdom has a series called Talking Dragon Age. Ghil Dirthalen also does theory videos. some of LadyInsanity’s older vids are DA theory vids. Watchman Gaming has a series called Dragon Age Lore.

🌹 Where in the world does your OC feel most at home? Is there any reason why? If it’s not the place they were born, where were they born? Is there a certain somebody that makes them feel at home where ever they may be? What does home mean to them?

He doesn’t remember much of Scotland, but he likely has an idealized concept of it that he considers home. In his mind, if he lived in the rolling green hills he often hears described, everything would be fine! He’d finally be entirely at peace. But that’s not his home, and he knows it.

For him, home isn’t really a place. Technically he still considers his mom’s house “home” simply because he’s used to referring to it as such, but it doesn’t feel like home. What feels like home to him is being with Flint and Domino. What feels like home is the three of them working on a case together and bantering back-and-forth as they drive to and from wherever the hell they need to go. What feels like home is staying up ‘til absurdly late hours playing video games with Domino and Joey and sometimes Lotte. That’s home.

🍁 Where does your OC go when they need to have some time to themself? Would they ever have their own “comfort corner” filled with all the things they like? Do they have a favourite spot outside that feels like its theirs and theirs alone?

Hm that’s actually interestin to think about. He barely knows New York and his space in the apartment is the living room, so, he doesn’t have His Room or smth to go hide in... He strikes me as the sort to like stargazing/skygazing, though, so maybe the roof. If he needs to think about something or calm down, he might take a walk to clear his head. He’s prone to anxiety and walks really help with that, afaik! 

🍂 Does your OC enjoy hugs? What do they do as a show of affection for: their friends, their family, their significant other(s) or for strangers? Over all what are they like with receiving affection from others?

Adam probably loves hugs, but is a bit skittish about them, mainly because he’s mindful of other people’s boundaries ! He doesn’t tend to easily trust kindness from strangers, or even from friends and family honestly, but he’d like hugs. He gives very nice hugs, he’s a very fluffy lad.

🌻 What little things do they notice about people or the world around them that make them happy? What tiny little treasures do they find in the normal every day that makes the world seem a little brighter for them?

He likes birds! And nature in general! He just likes living green things a lot. He likely notices plants and wildlife the most. That being said, everything about New York City is probably very new to him, so for a while he’d be dazzled by all the hustle-and-bustle. Especially the concept of “the city that never sleeps,” the eternal Something Is Happening Someplace.

As for people around him, he likely notices their neutral expression the most, and can probably pick up on what their mood is quite easily. If someone else is happy, he’s likely going to be happy, too! Unfortunately, this sort of a skill is likely a defense mechanism-

this one was kinda tough lkjhgfd He’s a gentle dog with the prettiest unnervingly-bright-blue eyes around, and even when he hasn’t combed his mess of hair it manages to flop over his eyes in just the most adorable way. He handles everything with a certain level of delicacy that’s genuinely admirable. He’s always honest, even if it’d hurt him, fiercely loyal, and incredibly resourceful & hardy. He’s a little dumb but his heart’s in the right place, and he’s selfless to an almost dangerous degree. 

💐 How does your OC handle being unwell or forced to rest in bed? Who cares for them and in what ways? Does your OC enjoy being doted on or are they a terrible patient? Reversed: is your OC good at taking care of others who are ill or in need?

Adam is extremely good at taking care of other people and probably not very good at being taken-care-of lolol... He isn’t a terrible patient, just not the greatest one. He won’t be downright awful because he’s too sweet but he doesn’t like being fussed-over and feels guilty. Domino and Flint are both equally likely to take care of him when he’s sick, but Flint would probably be a little bit better at it by virtue of being More Adult than either of them lmao. Domino would Try, though!

🌿 What way does your OC show that they care without using words? What way do others show your OC that they’re cared about without using speech?

He strikes me as the type to Gently Lean On Someone when he really trusts them. He’d be likely to hug Domino when they’re having a rough time. He’s the type to pay attention closely when he really cares about someone or something.

Flint is likely to just do nice stuff for both of his kids--he doesn’t seem to be the type to be good at being emotional via words, so he probably shows that he cares by just doing little nice things here and there. Domino is probably the same, though their main way of showing Adam they really do love and trust him is simply the fact they let him hug them lol. As for the other characters he interacts with ... I’m not sure! 

🌳 What is your OC’s favourite way to relax after a stressful day? Do they have a favourite book to curl up with? A hobby? Or do they have a nice bubble bath and have an early night to bed?

He likes to play video games ! His favourite to relax is probably Minecraft. It’s chill and also Domino is terrible at it, so it’s really funny for him to watch them get lost and die a lot-

He does strike me as the type to maybe like a calming bath, though. Maybe he’d just chill in silence, or maybe he’s listen to some soft music. 

🌲 How deeply does your OC feel? Are they typically empathetic or do they have a hard time connecting with others in this way? What are they like when offering support and comfort to someone they care for?

He’s a very empathetic doggo, but he has a tough time making it a two-way street. He doesn’t open up very easily, albeit less-obviously-so than Domino. He’s more likely to deflect others’ questions about his emotions and focus on the other person’s feelings more.

🌺 What does your OC do to calm down when they’re scared or after a nightmare? Do they have any special comfort items or need to be reassured by a specific person? How do they handle this if they’re alone?

When he wakes up after a nightmare, he usually hugs a pillow, or Domino if they’re awake. He just doesn’t want to be all alone again. Domino is the most-comforting person to him, with Flint maybe being second-place--or tied with Joey.

He loves video games, snack foods, gentle rainstorms, green hills and the outdoors in general, that light-in-the-chest happy feeling he gets when he’s Genuinely Praised, the smell of coffee in the early morning, waking up next to his family, road trips, peanut butter (though he has to be mindful of Flint’s allergies--), hugging Domino, the stars at night in a smog-free sky...

🌼 Who are this characters friends and found family? How did they meet, how long have they been friends for, could they ever be something more than just friends? What do they look for in a friend or a romantic partner?

Adam’s only biological relative is his sibling Domino! The two were adopted by Flint Paper, who Adam sees as a father figure. He considers Joey (owned by @archielemon) his big sister, as Domino and Joey already sorta.. mutually adopted each other as siblings lolol. By extension he might also see Kathy, Joey’s girlfriend (also owned by @archielemon) as a big-sister-in-law (technically--they’re not married, but, yknow). He also sees Lotte (owned by @keenflapcowboytaco) as a younger sister. Adam doesn’t have many friends yet, but he admires Sam a fair amount. Max, however, scares the shit out of him. 

Adam doesn’t have any romantic interests at present, nor a canon sexuality, because his mother was so stifling he never got any sort of opportunity to figure himself out. He has no idea what he would want in a partner or if he would want one at all.

Oooh I’ve always wondered how the MM characters (excluding Saeyoung, Saeran and Vanderwood) would react to meeting Saehyun (I’m sorry I love him so much ;w;) !! I know this sounds like a weird request but I’m super curious lolol

Yoosung + Saehyun:

Wait, Saeyoung, how many brothers do you have? Are you secretly hiding them? Are you being cloned?!

After the initial weirdness over their first meeting, these two get along pretty well. They're both in similar fields of study (medicine), so they constantly help each other out at school (mostly Saehyun, helping Yoosung, but let's just gloss over that fact). They're not going to the same university, however, but that doesn't matter in the slightest.

"Hey, Yoosung, would you pay attention?"

"Ah - ah sorry, what?"

Saehyun groans in irritation, "you should already know this..."

Though despite Saehyun's seriousness in his studies, he has no problem doing childish things and hanging out together when neither is busy. They go out to the movies, cry together like children, enjoy a trip to an amusement park, and other such things.

They're both very openly emotional and that gives them someone to vent to.

"Have you ever baked before?" Yoosung asks.

"No, but I should be able to do it!"

"Ahh, Saehyun it's burning!"

"The recipe told me to put it in for two hours!" It's not always Yoosung doing the learning, they learn from each other.

Also finally, Yoosung isn't the shortest in the group (aside from Jaehee). "I'm taller than you~"

"Shut up..."

They're both hugely into cheesy romance, so prepare for the constant fan filled chatter between these two. "What did you think of that final confession?" "I thought it was so cute!"

Saehyun buys him a lot of extremely expensive gifts that really overwhelm him sometimes. "Ah! Why?!" "Because I thought you needed it?"

He also sucks at video games, so you can bet Yoosung coerces him into trying LOLOL with him.

"Ugh, this game is stupid!"

The blonde laughs at his failed attempts to defeat a boss monster.

Is it possible to be the lowest ranking player on a server? Because that's probably where he is.

Zen + Saehyun:

He's a little weirded out and maybe slightly nervous. He thought after the whole fiasco with Saeran, that would be the last time something this crazy happens. But no...Saeyoung, that guy...

Saehyun ends up chatting with him amicably and he finds his initial hesitance has disappeared. Oh, he seems like a pretty normal person, except for the fact his (adoptive) family is rich...

That fact kind of irks him for a while, but usually he can look past it when the two share a beer (or maybe four) and a ton of laughs.

They hang out on occasion and go for a few drinks every so often and Saehyun totally adores his musicals. He's also nice eye candy, how could you blame him?

Saehyun also constantly feeds Zen's ego with constant compliments and acknowledgment of his comments towards his appearance. Hey, this dude isn't half bad. He has good taste, anyway.

"You looked really handsome in the selfie you posted today," the redhead says.

"I know~" for some reason it feels nice when he hears it from a friend. The word narcissist is never tacked on to Saehyun's sentences.

Jumin + Saehyun:

Jumin takes everything in stride so although underneath his stoic exterior the information of a third Choi is a surprise, he doesn't outwardly show it.

These two are like opposite sides of a coin. Jumin keeps his emotions bottled away and Saehyun is so forthright with displaying them that it's startling sometimes. But they sort of fit together in that sense.

Both of them have similar backgrounds so they can relate to each other on that level.

And a night of sipping wine and chatting, sounds lovely for these two.

"I read this romance novel recently..."

"hmmm..." They don't necessarily agree on everything, but they get along just fine in the chatroom.

Jaehee + Saehyun:

The first meeting was a surprise for sure, in fact she had mistaken him for both of his brothers before it dawned on her.

"What?" With a clear look of surprise.

"Yeah, that was my reaction too," he laughs.

For the most part, she's pretty neutral in regards to him. He seems normal enough to her and she worries about him just like any of her other friends (RFA members).

Though they sometimes "fangirl" over Zen together, so they've got that; and Saeyoung occasionally joins in for funsies.

"Hey, Jaehee, I bought you some of the exclusive merchandise from Zen's last performance."

"Really?"

MCYooSeven thoughts!

Alright so I’m being forced to face the fact that the odds of me actually writing this - as much as i want to - are extremely low considering my lack of energy lately, my kids being sick, me getting sick, busy life, etc, so here are some mcyooseven thoughts I have floating around my noggin today. I’m thinking this will be a two-part post, this first part is mostly YoosungxMC buildup. The second part will focus on them bringing Seven into the fold.

This is pre-game, so Unknown hasn’t hacked and placed MC in the messenger yet. It takes place shortly after Rika disappears, and the “MC” is my OC Summer - a college student at SKY. Summer is there to get her teaching degree and aims to teach ESL someday. :)

They don’t have any of the same classes currently, but Yoosung has seen Summer around because she’s kind of hard to miss. She’s got an undercut that she keeps exposed on the left side, her candy cotton hair kept to her right side by a braid serving as her part. She’s usually seen in black skinny jeans and some sort of band t-shirt, sporting a leather jacket covered in patches and pins on the cooler days. She’s got a hoop in her nose and a star on her lip, her messy makeup somehow working with the ‘I just rolled out of bed’ vibe she has going. She’s also only 4’9”.

But since he keeps to himself mostly, she hasn’t really noticed him.

However. She is a huge video game fanatic and plays LOLOL in her free time - which isn’t much, because she works part-time in a cafe and actually focuses on her school work. Still, against all odds, she landed herself in the ShootingStar server and would be remiss if she didn’t know who SupermanYoosung is. While she’s not #2, she proudly holds her mantel as #10 because it’s hard to keep her life in check and that position, so anyone who has something to say can eat her entire ass.

Anyway. That’s that. Onward.

It’s a particularly bad day for Yoosung, but he’s at school. Well… for the last half of the day, at least. It’s rainy and gloomy and he’s stuck in his dark, moody thoughts as he’s rushing from one class to the next, not paying any attention to where he’s going until he slams into something. Staggering back, he’s horrified to find Summer on the ground, half-drank iced mocha covering her clothes and her umbrella crumpled beneath her. He barely manages to stutter through an apology before she stops him, holding up her hand and standing. She insists it isn’t a big deal - can’t bring herself to be angry at this blushing, obviously upset man - and makes a wry joke about needing a shower anyway. He ends up insisting she take his umbrella, saying she could return it some other day. When he says his name, she raises an eyebrow and says with a smirk, “Thanks, Star Prince,” before trudging onward. Yoosung’s left in shock; no one's ever called him that before.

Later that night, he’s telling everyone who will listen about the girl with the rainbow hair.

A few days later, Summer manages to track him down to return to umbrella. He’s spent this time amping himself up, trying to work up the courage to ask her out. (Of course a girl as cool as her would never like a guy as lame as him, but he can try). He’s sweating and nervous and his face is all the wrong colors as he tries to mumble an invitation, but again, she cuts him off - this time with a chuckle. He’s so cute, she can’t say no to an innocent boyo who’s trying so hard. She gives him a day (Saturday) and a time (3pm) to meet at a cafe she frequents (not her workplace), scribbling her phone number on a very shocked Yoosung’s hand before walking away with a “Later, Star Prince.”

A date. He’s got a date! He spends the night gushing about it, missing all of the subtle signs indicating Seven’s sadness.

The day comes, the date goes pretty well. Summer spends it teasing him kindly, enjoying how easy he is to fluster. But she’s taken by how undeniably sweet he is, and fascinated by the shine in those galaxy eyes when he’s excited. There’s something blocking the starlight within him, keeping him from lighting up the world. She’s sure it has something to do with that deep sadness she saw in him that first day.

He’s totally smitten, and they agree to another date. And another. And another. Soon, Yoosung can brag that he has a girlfriend and she’s happily keeping him under her arm, wanting to both protect him and help him grow. They’re opposites but in the best ways.

Their first kiss happens on the third date. They’re walking in the park at night after catching a movie. Yoosung stops to watch the stars and Summer’s taken by the look on his face; hopeful, longing, and so, so beautiful. When he notices her staring, he flushed a lovely red and she grins, grabbing his shirt and yanking him down to press their lips together. It’s everything he always dreamed of and nothing like he imagined; soft but insistent, sending fireworks shooting through him and when they part, he has the goofiest grin on his face.

For a while, he asks permission before kissing her and she just rolls her eyes, teasing him but always saying yes. She jokes, but it’s actually really nice to be treated like a human for once.

They take things decently slow, Summer content with making out without expectations and Yoosung happy with how things are. He’s scared to move too fast and ruin things, his inexperience a bane in his mind. She’s always there to coach him, to help when needed. But she’s the first to make a move sexually after a particularly intense make-out session that has them grinding. He stops the kiss and holds her in place, trying to hide under his hair because he’s embarrassed. It doesn’t take much for her to figure out he was close to orgasming, and so she goes into full-out tease mode:

“Do you want to come?”

A nod.

“Can you tell me what you want?”

He tries, but words are hard when both your face and crotch are on fire.

She’s experimented a bit with praise already and has found how susceptible he is, so she decides to try something.

“You’ve been such a good boy for me. You deserve a reward. Do you want me to reward you?”

Another nod.

She starts kissing his neck, fingers under his shirt. “Tell me if it’s too much, okay?”

It isn’t, and soon enough her Star Prince is coming apart in her mouth. Once he recovers, he insists on returning the favor and she ends up riding his fingers, gently coaching him through where to touch and how.

He’s a quick learner, she finds.

Six months into their relationship finds him at the door to her apartment. It’s maybe a week after he lavished her in the most ridiculous amount of gifts for dating for half a year, but of course, Summer soaked up the attention.

Today, though, something is wrong. She can tell the moment she opens the door, hair mussed from sleep and in a tight tank top and sweats. His shoulders are slumped more than usual, his eyes rimmed with red and lacking any life. She ushers him in, worried, and sits him on the couch, tucked in a blanket and with hot chocolate. She sucks at comfort, always has, but that doesn’t mean she won’t try.

It’s Rika’s birthday.

Yoosung’s mentioned her, of course, spoke about her as someone he admired, even mentioned her death. But he’s never dove fully into the subject, always too scared that showing that side of himself would send Summer running. But today he can’t, can’t hide it, can’t be alone. And so he spills. All of his worries, paranoias, anger. She lets him talk until the words are gone, then holds him when he cries. Hushes him when he apologizes. But it isn’t until he make an offhanded comment about how “he’s just being dramatic, that’s what his friends tell him” that she gets angry. Very quickly the entire atmosphere of the room changes and she’s facing him, cheeks cupped in her hands as she tells him that every single thought he has in valid. These feelings? Valid. The anger toward V? Valid. His suspicions that Rika isn’t really dead? Valid. Whether or not he’s right doesn’t change the validity of how he’s feeling, because he’s feeling it and he’s allowed to feel things. She’s ranting and raving and going on about how amazing of a man he is and that these “friends” aren’t really friends if they’re so unsupportive, not even noticing how his facial expression shifts from surprise to shock to utter adoration, so caught up in making him realize that it’s okay to feel like this sometimes. Grief is different for everyone, anyway, and who has the right to tell him he’s grieving wrong if what he’s doing isn’t hurting anyone? (Well, technically, the video game habit hurts himself but he’s been studying more, since he can use it as an excuse to hang out with her)

Which is why it’s a surprise when he kisses her in the middle of a sentence, hard, his arms wrapping around her to pull her into his lap. He’s filled with grief and sadness but also love and a feeling of acceptance - something he hasn’t felt in a long, long time. The combination is making everything else feel so much more intense and he can’t find the words to tell her how much he appreciates everything she’s done and said for him, so he chooses to let the kiss do the talking.

Passionate, longing, and mildly desperate, the kiss hits Summer like a brick. The longer it goes on, the more those hands roam and she finds herself wanting, but she refuses to take advantage of him. So she pulls back several times to make him pause, barely able to hold it together at the way he looks at her - equal parts desire and love - but asking him if he’s sure this is what he wants. And each time she’s met with a smile way too soft for how charged the air is between them, a gravelly voice somehow still managing to sound utterly lovestruck as he tells her he’s never wanted anything more than to show her how much he loves her.

And for the first time in her life, she makes love instead of just being fucked. It’s every bit as amazing - if not more - and she could just melt under him with how he treats her like a goddess.

Fast forward a few weeks. Yoosung hasn’t forgotten the remark she made about his friends and decides he wants her and Seven to meet. Yeah, he’s a bit of an ass sometimes but he cares about him, right? And besides his parents and sister, Seven is the most important person in his life. So he manages to talk Seven into letting both of them come over. Seven’s… surprisingly hard to convince, a plethora of excuses flung out about why he can’t (and shouldn’t) hang out with them together, each one tough to fight but Yoosung manages. It’s weird that Seven’s so adamantly against it, but Yoosung figures maybe he’s just a bit busier than normal. They won’t take much of his time.

Summer isn’t thrilled, either, still holding the lack of support against this “friend.” But. She’ll give him a chance.

This poor boy, how you convinced him to play a horror game is beyond anyone

All the lights stay ON whether it’s the middle of the day or not

But he really enjoys this game and tries to make the best decisions and tries to save everyone

Specially the wolf (makes you Google how to save it)

Gushes about the graphics half the time

Horrified that there’s even a choice to harm animals

Screams his head off when the wendigo first makes its appearance

And also screams when the flamethrower guy appears in the mines

Practically THROWS the controller at every scare, you’ll have to play through some high-tension spots for him

What is he more afraid of: gore or needles? BOTH, apparently ;;;

He answers Dr Hill’s tests truthfully so the game is 1000x scarier for him now ;;;

Explores the most, probably to stall but also finds most of the clues and totems

Unfortunately he gets a little too curious about every single item, and ends up getting Mike’s fingers caught in the bear trap

Makes you decide what to do because he can’t watch

You decide to just hack off Mike’s fingers

Yoosung flees for the bathroom

He couldn’t save everyone and he feels really really bad about it; you have to console him when he accidentally kills Chris and Ashley gets upset

“Yoosung, you can just replay it later-”

“NO, they deserve to be together now!!”

Restarts the game and still falls for the same jumpscares

What a (lovable) dork

After finishing up the game, he will need to watch no less than four romcoms to calm down

Throw in plenty of cuddles and praising his bravery and he’ll be so happy

Mike is his favorite character: buff hero on a mission to save his girlfriend, befriends a wolf, kicks Wendigo ass? He’s so there

All those innuendos at the beginning of the game?? He’s wiggling his brows at you the whole time

“A romantic getaway in the mountains sounds nice, huh babe~?”

“Yeah Zen nothing like a crazy flamethrower murderer to set the mood.”

Definitely gets Jess to take off all her clothes and gets flustered when you tease him about it

That part where Matt climbs the fire tower and leaves the axe? You can bet Zen is swearing profusely at the screen

High key makes fun of the horror-movie acting

Pauses the game to debate almost every decision

Sorry Josh, he’s saving Ashley no ifs ands or buts

Protects your precious eyes from any gore (almost smacks you in the face with the controller in his hurry)

The first Wendigo scares the hell out of him and he lets out the most high-pitched screech

I didn’t know you had such a ladylike scream, Hyun~

Tries to save everyone because he’s ZEN THE KNIGHT

Not a big fan of Emily because she’s such a bully but still saves her because he wouldn’t kill anyone just because they were mean

Sucks at quick time events, though, and probably curses the entire time

Both of you are yelling when someone’s getting chased, there is arm slapping involved

Manages to kill off a few people, including Emily

But of course he saves Ashley and Chris, Sam, Mike and Jess

Jaehee

Isn’t much of a gamer to begin with, but is willing to play with you for moral support

So done with all of these kids already, where are their parents, why are they on an isolated mountain after two girls died due to a prank they played??

Almost as jumpy as Yoosung, and tries to play it off but at one point spills her coffee all over the couch

“Why do you enjoy this?!”

She can’t understand who would willingly put themselves in stressful situations for fun?

Surprisingly sarcastic at times, as a defense tactic against the fear

If one more person mentions the butterfly effect

“Worst fear? Bad Zen fanfiction.” Jumin in a cat suit

Criticizes the characters ruthlessly

Sam running around in a towel -- “How is she still alive and not freezing to death?”

Doesn’t want anyone to die, but you swear she smirked when the revenge plot was revealed

At first glance you wouldn’t expect him to be the type to play video games, but he owns a Gray Station and a ZetBox so

The lodge in the mountains looks nice and he considers investing in a ski resort

But comments on Josh’s poor planning skills and says he’s a terrible host ;;;

You’ve seen his attempts at taking pictures. The parts where you’re supposed to keep the controller still? Better snatch that controller from him and set it on the table or you’re DEAD.

He’s so focused when he plays, and he manages to keep a straight face through most of the game. Hardly even flinches

Unfortunately, he isn’t too keen on lingering or searching each and every room, so he misses unobvious clues and totems

But will definitely replay the game until it says he’s completed it 100%

How can a game make me feel such things?

This guy may be cold and calculating to other people, but he’s fiercely loyal and protective so he tries to save as many characters as he can and you find yourself more attracted to him

When he learns about Josh and the whole revenge thing, he still fights to save Josh because that’s just what friends do and he understands how Josh was going through a tough time because of his sisters

Finds himself addicted to these types of games and buys similar games for you two to play

LOLOL a game where he can decide the fate of 8 teenagers? LOLOLOL

Turns all the lights off for ~atmosphere~ and yells at tense moments to try and scare you

Guesses who the Psycho is right away

Laughs at all the lame puns and jokes

Won’t stop quoting the game for days (“Hello, friends and fans!” “Ugh, unfollow.” “It’s mammoth!” “You know what else is mammoth, MC? Me.” wiggles eyebrows suggestively)

Fear: cockroaches

Jokingly shoves the controller into your hands at the worst moments

Makes THE MOST RANDOM decisions ever: “I wonder what will happen if I FOLLOW JESS’S VOICE?”

“Saeyoung you know that isn’t Jess!”

“So are you saying I shouldn’t open the trapdoor? The one right here?”

Good luck prying him away at any point, he’s not leaving till he’s found all the clues and unlocks as many endings as possible

Never really had much interest in video games, but if you want to play it he’ll be right there beside you

What do you fear most? Gore. This cutie apparently hates gore and he closes his eyes when Matt dies coz he tried to save Emily

That photo with the scarecrow? He felt calm looking at it, probably because he usually went on hiking trips alone for his photography thing

This guy is good with the “don’t move” scenes too, since he’s used to staying still when taking photos

Same as Jumin, he has a hard time choosing between Ashley and Josh

But he also chooses to save Ashley and also feels bad about it afterwards

Ashley or Chris? You already know this man will choose to kill himself than hurt the people he loves

And then he finds out that it was all a revenge scheme by Josh and he’s so surprised because how can someone do that to their friends?

He’s on the edge of his seat during Emily’s trip down the mines part

Super invested in the mystery aspect, ends up talking and theorizing through some cutscenes

V there are Wendigos PAY ATTENTION

Will make you look for all the clues and totems because he’s so invested in this game and really wants to save everyone

And he feels terrible when the flamethrower guy dies even though there was really no way to save him

When he finds out what really happens to the twins, oh my God, he’s so done with this game

Why would you make Hannah eat her sister??? And how come nobody searched the mines? Surely someone must have known about it?

If horny teenagers can find this mine in the middle of a snowstorm HOW COME THE SEARCH PARTIES WEREN’T ABLE TO SAVE THEM???

Surprisingly saves everyone except Matt because he was so stubborn about trying to save Emily

Let’s face it, this guy would probably kill all the characters

You see his face change when he sees the twins in the beginning of the game though, and he totally chooses the option to let go and fall together instead of letting the other twin die alone

Hates the other characters because they were mean to the twins

Yup, he kills all of them

Except Sam, Chris and Josh because they weren’t involved in the prank

And also, the wolf

Fair enough, you roll with it

He decided he would save Chris but when he finds out Chris likes Ashley, chooses to shoot himself

Marry him

Then he finds out Josh tried to get revenge for his sisters

Is now super determined to save him

Unlike Saeyoung he’s kind of impatient but he reads through the stuff

Still shoots Emily because she was such a bitch

Kills Mike as well, because he was seriously a jerk to Hannah but everyone sees him as the hero --not Saeran though, so bye bye Mike

Matt finds Jessica and he’s considerate of her and chooses to hide instead, saving both of them

It wasn’t really his intention since he wanted to kill everyone, but you kiss his cheek saying how cool he is and he blushes

So upset when he finds out Hannah became a wendigo because how could she eat her sister? That’s really really messed up

And when he finds Hannah’s diary in the mines? You hug him because he goes silent and stares at the screen blankly

Saves Sam as well and he never plays the game again ;A;

Ha? What’s this game you want to play?

Pretends he’s bored with the game but deep down he’s LOVING it

Kills the quicktime events

“This is so easy.”

Gets so annoyed like wtf is wrong with these kids??? Why are they so horny???

He doesn’t always make the right decisions though and ends up killing a few characters

Swears a lot

Devastated when the wolf dies but he wouldn’t show it

So when you gently squeeze his arm and tell him it’s alright, you see him purse his lips

Wendigos are after him? Has no problem staying still and doesn’t miss a shot during Mike’s chapter

Hates Dr. Hill’s character because he felt like someone was probing into his brain and he doesn’t like it

Chris and Ashley are his OTP so he definitely saves those two

He finishes the game and tells you he’s done playing it, but you’ll catch him playing it late into the night when he can’t sleep, trying to get all collectibles and save everyone

A Boy To A Man: Kim Yoosung

Time for my baby to shine~

You scroll down through your social media, trying to find something interesting that catches your eyes. Sitting on a bench across Yoosung’s University, you try to buy time as you wait for your boyfriend of 3 years.

Three years had flew by so fast, both of you are graduating soon which also means that the busier you both get with all the projects and assignments. 

Not to mention, the fact that you two went to different universities makes it harder.

The only times you could talk to him is through the messenger or by phone calls. It’s been over a month- maybe nearing two since you both had met face to face or had physical contact with one another.

You were missing him. Terribly.

Fortunately, with your lecturer being sick and you class cancelled, you managed to make this rare moment to have a date with Yoosung since you knew he would be free in this time and on this day. 

Unfortunately, your boyfriend was running late because he had some errors on his assignment due to his group mates and had to meet up with his lecturer. 

Your right leg shook up and down at the excitement of finally seeing him in flesh than through those awful video calls that ended up making you miss him more.

You longed for him. To have his body heat under your finger tips, his skin brushing against yours and your lips against his.

The seconds felt longer and the minutes felt like eternity but all of it doesn’t matter when you spotted a familiar blond haired boy with black spectacles running towards you.

He looked beautiful in the autumn’s colour. His coat and bag flew back as he tried his best to reach you as fast as he could.

Standing up from your seat, you open your arms as the boy welcome your warm embrace. Wrapping your arms around his neck as his arms enveloped your waist, you felt complete.

The smell of him filled your senses, his body heat warmed you up and his breathing- his panting against your neck- knowing that he ran for you fills you up with delight.

“I’m sorry for being late MC” Yoosung panted as he slowly pulls away

You finally noticed that you had tip-toed when you hugged him, has he grown taller?

“Don’t worry about it Yoosung, I wasn’t waiting that long” you chuckled as you took out your tissue to pat his sweat away

His cheeks flushed from the heat despite it being cold, the run were to blame. He cracked one of those boyish grin that you love so much and you couldn’t help but to press your lips against his.

You could feel his lips were dry from the season, you need to offer him your lip balm but that could wait. You lick his lips to moist them with your saliva but Yoosung opened his mouth which you don’t mind as you deepen the kiss.

He gently held your left cheek as he skillfully played with your tongue. His actions were absolute and full of confidence. He used to be so hesitant and bashful back then.

Since when did his kisses became so powerful that makes your legs turn weak? Was it a year ago? or two?

Pulling away in need of breath, you leaned your forehead against his and you stared into each other’s eyes. 

He used to look away with a full on red face, now he’s staring at you with those gorgeous amethyst eyes you love in full adoration, holding your gaze with flushed cheeks.

When did he become so bold?

 Yoosung pulled away as he put out his right hand to you “Shall we start our date?” he grinned. That contagious grin that makes your own lips quirk up.

“Yes please” 

Taking his hand, the two of you walked side by side towards the bus station. 

Glancing at him as he told you a story, you noticed how his jawline had become more prominent and how deep his laugh were.

“I mean can you believe it? I may not be a business student but that doesn’t mean I can tell the difference between those investment-”

You wondered when did his topics turned mature. He used to talk about his games or adorable things, when did he start talking about business and money making?

“Uhh Babe you okay? You seem... out?” Yoosung furrowed his eyebrows as he stared at you worriedly.

He used to be naive and slightly slow, you wondered when did he noticed the changes in your emotions so fast. When did he become so observant? 

Snuggling into his shoulder, you sighed out “I miss you Yoosung... So much” you breathe in his scent.

Back then, he smells like soap and fruity. When did he start using the cologne that gives him the masculine scent that you love so much? Was it when you presented him a cologne on his 21st Birthday?

Yoosung lets go of your hand, wrapping his arm around your shoulder, he pulls you close as he leans down to kiss your temple. 

“I miss you too MC” he let out a content sighed.

As he hold you against him, you could feel how strong his arm were. Has he been working out? It felt strong but gentle, you felt safe and loved.

As the bus arrived, the two of your got on. It was quite full so you had to squish yourself between people. Yoosung stood behind you as he grabbed the pole next to you while his other hand hold your hips to help support you as the bus drove off.

Since when did you blush furiously just by his hand on your hip? His body that was pressed behind you left you excited and you wanted more... but you can’t. Not now.

Since when did his simple body contact affect you like this? You wonder.

The bus ride was short and quick, you had arrived at the restaurant that you both love so much. Yoosung reached out his arm as he pulled the door open for you.

“Why thank you good sir” you said playfully and he gave you a slight bow “After you, milady”

Getting a table beside the window, you two talked while discussing the menu. Yoosung called the waiter as he began to place both of your orders. Your eyes observed him, watching how he calmly and politely talked to the waiter.

He nodded as the waiter repeats the orders. When did his nods turned manly- is that even possible?

As the waiter leaves, Yoosung began to unbutton his coat, shrugging it off his shoulders. Revealing his long sleeved white shirt which fits his body so well that you could see how it clung onto his body muscles. As he flex his arms to pull the coat off, the shape of his arm muscles were more prominent with the material.

He used to be so lean, when did he gain those muscles you wonder. However, you remembered how it feels like when you clutch on to it, it felt hard in your hands.

Yoosung threw his coat at the empty seat beside him, he crossed his arms on the table as he leans in to ask about your day. You began rambling off what pissed you off lately and how annoyed you were. You didn’t stop your rant even after the waiter set down your drinks.

Yoosung nod to the waiter as he muttered a thanks as his eyes didn’t leave yours. He listened to your rant with his full attention and your heart melt as you think about his gesture.

You ended your rant and turned to topic about him and he began to talk about his latest frustrations he had.

“But since I can’t do anything about it, I just have to hold it in and go through it”

When did he turned mature? When did he stop his whining? 

It felt like it was yesterday he was whining about LOLOL, V and Rika in the chatroom but now, he handled his problems maturely without whining much.

As the food was set down, the two of you began to eat, throwing a couple of questions to one another. Yoosung looked out the window as he chewed his food, his jaw moving as he chewed.

He always looks adorable when he’s eating but why do you find him sexy doing something so mundane like chewing?

“Hey babe, do you want some cake? I saw the strawberry shortcake that you love so much are still on the display” Yoosung asked

“Really? Should I get it?”

“Up to you” he said as he transferred the carrots from his dish to your plate 

“Why did you give me your carrots?”

“Because you love carrots?” he gave the ‘duh’ look

You wondered what else he noticed about your favourites. He wasn’t really an observant person... or was he?

As you both finished your meals, you both got up, putting on your coats before making your way to the cashier.

“I’ll pay” Yoosung said as he took out his wallet

“It’s okay hun, I’ll foot the bill too” you began to unzip your wallet when Yoosung held out his hand

“Please MC, as a man who will take full responsibilities of you one day, I can handle the bill” he said 

A Man.

He’s no longer the boy you knew. His frame was bigger and taller, his voice was deeper and huskier, his personality was calmer and mature.

He is a man.

Walking out the restaurant hand in hand, you both walked in silence to feel the pleasure of each other’s companies with a full stomach.

Suddenly a thought snapped in your mind as you whipped your head to face Yoosung with wide eyes.

“Yoosung... When you meant by a man taking responsibilities of me... Do you mean” you gaped at him

Yoosung widen his eyes as a deep shade of red filled his cheek. Clearing his throat as he looked away momentarily, he slowly trailed his eyes to you.

“Well of course. Are you expecting to end this relationship?” he asked, his eyes flashing worriedly as he looked at you.

You laughed as you felt tears forming in your eyes.

“He-hey why are you-”

Grabbing both of his cheeks, you pulled him down to pecked his lips.

“I love you Kim Yoosung”

Yoosung widened his eyes slightly before his eyes soften, leaning in he claimed your lips once more.

“I love you too MC”

You both smiled at each other before your lips quirk down.

“I was expecting a much extravagant proposal” you pouted

“Who said that was a proposal?” he said with a teasing smile before waling off

“Yoosung~” you whined

Yoosung let out a deep loud laugh as he reached out his hand back to you

“Come on babe, the date hasn’t ended yet”

Grasping his hand, you grinned as he lead you along the street.

Your boy really had turned into a man.

“Ah dammit!” Yoosung skipped as he tripped on a rock before growling back at the object that had embarassed him in front of his girl.

- coloured pencils are usually my fav. Markers dry out
