I apologize in advance but there won't be any posts today and possibly not Monday either because I have some fanfiction housekeeping to take care of. Specifically transferring all of my Tumblr works to Ao3 which since I'm doing this on my phone will be tedious and difficult.
So sorry to disappoint but Tumblr apparently has a strong dislike for my fanfiction so Off to Ao3
Love you lots XX Kat

Assumptions get you further away from the truth than you think
Modern Au
DOLORES ALYNE MADRIGAL!
Dolores blearily opened her eyes, the sun creeping in through her bedroom window. She then realised that she had bled in her bed, again. This was the third time this year that it had happened, and Dolores is unimpressed because her period is so irregular; she doesn't have any other symptoms, her period is just irregular.
She rolls out of bed and heads downstairs with some black shorts and a red t-shirt, deciding that she'll take care of her sheets after she takes care of herself. She opens the door and is blasted by a wave of steam, and isabela standing nude in front of the full length mirror.
She doesn't notice her cousin so Dolores steps in and closes the door. Dolores pauses when she hears Isabela say some self affirmations.
"My body looks this way because it is healthy,"  isabela says to the mirror as she stares at her supposed imperfections.
"You are healthy, and gorgeous, Isa," Dolores told her 16 year old cousin.
"Good morning Lola," isa chirped
"Morning isa," Dolores replies, changing her underwear, sticking a pad into her clean underwear.
"Woke up in blood again?"  Isa asked brushing her hair back into a high ponytail.
"Yeah, stupid irregular period," dolores muttered pulling her tshirt over her head.
"You do know that birth control helps with that, right Lola," isa told pulling on her own underwear and bra.
"It does? I thought the only thing the pill was good for was preventing oopsie' daisies,"
Dolores said, wincing lightly when she heard Camilo run out of her room screaming that she was bleeding.
"It actually helps a lot, I just got on it so I didn't get any surprise visits from mother nature during swim, because I don't wanna have to deal with that. I can take you with me to see my doctor today if you want," Isabela offered as she swiped a light lip gloss over her rosy lips.
"Can you? It would really help me if I didn't wake up covered in blood every month," dolores asked
"Sure," Isabela confirms. Dolores and isa walk out of the bathroom when seeing camilo at the table.
"Can we change my sheets first though, I don't wanna further traumatize mi hermanito, even though HE SHOULDN'T HAVE BEEN IN MY ROOM," dolores asked yelling at her brother as the two walked past.
"You're a vampire!" Camilo yelled back.
The pair of teenagers went and changed Dolores’s sheets before leaving in Isabela's Jeep, even though Dolores was the one driving.
"It's on the right of the department store in the strip mall by the car lot," Isa told.
"Oh yeah I know where you're talking about, I heard a few girls saying the doctor there was really nice, Dr. Flores, right?" Dolores asked
"Mhm, she's really nice, and she always tells you what she's doing, which is nice when you are going to get your insides stabbed by someone you barely know,"  Isa said
"It's their job isa, plus you didn't have to get it , you're pansexual with a female preference, you don't have any abnormalities like bad cramps or ridiculously heavy bleeding for longer than seven days, plus you're still a total virgin," dolores told isa as she took the left turn into the strip mall parking lot.
"Yeah but still, it makes it easier to track when you're on swim team and are constantly zipping around to schools all across the city to compete," isa refuted
"Ok let's go," Dolores said, parking the jeep.
"All I need is to have her call my next month's worth of birth control into the pharmacy. Since you're a new patient she'll probably ask a couple questions, quick look inside and that's about it." Isabela told Dolores as they made the quick walk from the jeep to the office.

"Good morning," the receptionist said as the two signed in.
-after the appointment-
Isabela and Dolores were walking about the pharmacy waiting for their prescriptions to be filled.
"It shouldn't be too long, maybe after we get it we can go get some new shoes,"  Isa said
"Yesss! I've been wanting some new pumps to wear with that red dress I bought," Dolores said as her and Isabela continued walking the pharmacy aisles.
After a month the hormones were finally in full effect and Dolores’s period straightened out becoming regular.
A few months later, Pepa was putting away laundry one afternoon when she found out her daughter's secret.
Pepa pov
I was putting away laundry for mi familia since it was part of my chores for the week. I finished folding Dolores’s laundry consisting primarily of her skirts, blouses and underwear, and I stole her bra to wash since it hadn't been washed in months. It'll hang dry in the laundry room for the afternoon and I'll return it to her tonight.
I take the basket of Dolores’s clothes to her room and into her closet to put away.
When I start to put her blouses away though I notice a note on her jewelry shelf above her drawer for her blouses. It read 'take ur bc' in Dolores’s loopy handwriting.  I looked on the shelf and saw a half empty pack of birth control tablets sitting there by her necklace stand.
Immediately I felt enraged, she was going behind my back to get birth control so she could do whatever she wanted with whatever guy she wanted to do it with. I felt the static electricity of the lightning cloud above my head before I yelled for Dolores
-dolores pov-
I was playing with Mirabel and Camilo in the den. The two of them had gotten a set of Pokémon cards and figurines each and they were trading cards so they could better their decks. I was there to settle arguments and make sure that my dog, Duckie, didn't eat any of their cards.
"DOLORES ALYNE MADRIGAL!" Mama yelled out a thunderclap punctuating it.
"Ooooh you're in troubleeee," Camilo teased
"Put these away and go to Milo's room, this might get messy," I joked, knowing my mother must've found something in my bedroom.  Hopefully it wasn't my diary, or journal. I could've sworn I put them away.
I make it upstairs and into my room, and she's in my closet. Wait! My closet, dios mio I'm screwed!
"Si," I say nearly silent, standing in the doorway of my closet.
"Why do you have birth control? Have you been letting boys do what they want with you? Have you been getting around the encanto?" Mama asked furious if her thunder was anything to go by
"Ew mama of course not, its-" I said before mama  interrupted
"Then if it's not for that then why do you have it?"
"For my period mama, before I got it, my period was super irregular and I couldn't keep track of it, so I asked isa to take me with her to one of her appointments with Dr flores and she put me on birth control to regulate my cycle,"
"Oh, for a second there I thought you were running around with guys," Mama said
3rd pov-
Pepa shared a laugh with her daughter, before heading downstairs to see what the two youngest madrigals were up to.
Hope you enjoy ❤

And as if lightning hit my head an idea was born by getting lost in Tumblr
A few kid's in town teased Mirabel for being a mama's girl and she denies it attempting to look cool infront of the other kids. This results in Mira distancing herself from Julieta so people won't call her a mama's girl anymore. Julieta is aware of this but she doesn't know excatly why Mirabel did it, but she is very upset none the less. A few weeks later, something happens to Mirabel that made her come running to her mother's arms again. Although still quite upset with Mira's behaviour, she accepts her with open arms. Mirabel then told Julieta her reasons for distancing herself from her and in the end Juli explain to Mirabel, that no matter how old she gets, she'll always be her baby girl.
OMIGOD, PLEASE SOMEBODY WRITE IT. I BEEEEEG YOU.

This might give you an idea for a story.
My mom used to tell how her periods were always super heavy and painful (turned out it was because she had ovarian cancer so she had to have them removed later on life).
Anyway, her favorite story to tell was when she was about 11 and she and her sister shared a bed. When my mom climbed over her sister to get out of bed to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, just as her legs were straddling her, a huge waterfall gush of blood came out of her and it looked like her sister “had been stabbed, like a literal bloody murder had happened”.
They both screamed their heads off and cried before my grandparents found them and cleaned them both up and calmed them down.
Thanks for the ask @hotdiggitydammit and here you go
Sorry Isa...
Dolores and isabela were having their first cousin sleepover since Dolores’s birthday 3 months prior. Both girls were now 14 years old and had much more control over their gifts. Which was a good thing, because now Isa could control the flowers she made on her period. Instead of crazy cactuses and bougainvilleas, she made red and pink roses with sharper thorns.
Dolores though she could control what she heard but she still involuntarily heard and knew about far more than she would've ever wanted. Such as the nightly activity of her parents, and her tia and tio. Her migraines were still bad but not as bad, they got worse with her period because her hearing would get really sensitive.
It was late at night and Dolores was awoken by a dull pain in her low abdomen.
"Nooo," Dolores groaned as she knew exactly what this meant. Within the moments she began moving an entire waterfall of blood was going to make itself abundant.
Dolores began moving very slowly and quietly not only for her own ears, but also not to alert anyone in the house that she was awake. When she sat up she didn't feel the blood flood her underwear, which was concerning because she knew it was gonna happen soon.  She began crawling over isabela and reaching for the vine at the edge of her bed. When she felt it, she was straddling isabelas hip as she slept, trying to reach for the vine before moving anymore. When the gush of blood she knew was coming came and flooded her underwear.
The blood soaked her underwear and then dripped onto Isabela's nightgown. Dolores blushed and decided that before it could get any worse at all, she would just jump for the vine. And thankfully she caught it and was able to slide down, her heart pounding in her chest as she went.
She tiptoes out of Isabela's room and toward the stairs, when she was caught.
"Mi bebé, what in the world are you doing? It's nearly midnight,"  pepa asked nearly running into the girl at the top of the stairs.
"Erm… I…" dolores said trying to figure out how to tell her mother she started her period and accadentally got blood on isabela without it sounding weird.
"What happened?" Pepa asked trying to get to the bottom of her daughter's anxious expression.
" i just got my period and wanted to take care of it before I stained Isabela's sheets," Dolores said, leaving out the part about when she was trying to get off the bed she accidentally bled on isa.
" Did anything get on the bed?" Pepa asked not noticing the lingering tension that was laced in Dolores’s eyebrows.
"No, now can I go mamá there's blood dripping down my leg," Dolores asked quietly.
"Go on mi amor, if you need anything come get me," pepa told as her daughter quietly ran to the bathroom, where when she lifted her gown up she not only saw a mess of fresh blood soaked into her underwear but streaks of blood slowly trailing down the inside of her thighs.
She groans as she peels the soaked material off, holding the tail of her nightgown with her teeth. She takes a damp rag and begins to clean herself up. The warm rag wipes away all the blood and she realizes she forgot clean clothes. Dolores leaves her underwear and quickly goes to her room to retrieve clean ones. Once again she got caught by isa this time.
"Hey lolo, where have you been, I woke up to get a snack and you weren't there, and weirdly enough there was blood on my hip," Isa asked, a yawn punctuating her sentence.
"About that…. I woke up from cramps, and knew that if it hadn't already happened my period was going to make a mess of my underwear and the bed so I tried to get out of bed and get to the bathroom before that happened. But that stupid vine was being a pain to reach without falling and when I crawled over you to get to it, I kind of bled on you, sorry Isa," dolores rattled off.
"Sounds like something you'd do, anyway you do whatever you gotta do ima get some arepas from the kitchen and we can go back to my room to have some food and go back to bed,"  isa told her,
Dolores nodded and the two went their separate ways meeting together back in Isabela's floral room within 10 minutes.
Once the arepas were gone and the girls once more settled high up on the hanging bed, the soft motions of the bed lulling them to sleep.
The next morning the two girls stayed in bed to talk and frankly laugh about Dolores’s adventure last night when she had to jump for the vine.
"I swear isa you need to have a vine ladder to your bed so I don't have a heart attack trying to get out of bed and not fall to my death," dolores told her cousin
"You've got a point, I can't even tell you how many times I've nearly faceplanted into the roses on the floor bc I've sleepily tried to get out of bed, my vines usually save me but most of the time they rip my nightgown,"
Hope you enjoy ❤

Before abuela knew about mirabel's pain...
It happens to everyone
During the time that mirabel had been having her cv spells on her period nobody had thought to tell abuela alma about it.
One day when Julieta had gone to town and Pepa and Dolores had gone out to do their chores, Abuela approached Mirabel, who was in her room working on a dress repair for one of the little girls that was friends with antonio.
"Mirabel," abuela said
"Si abuela?" Mirabel said, pausing her sewing and using the handwheel to press the needle into the fabric, holding it in place.
She turned to face her abuela who sat on her bed.
"I've noticed lately thst when your blood comes you stay in your room for most of the week, when yoy should be working on your sewing projects and helping the encanto,"  abuela told mirabel
"Abuela you don't understand, my pain isn't like Isabela's, I have much more pain than her, don't you remember when mama was younger and got bad cramps?" Mirabel asked
"Your mama never used her blood as an excuse to be lazy," Alma spat, not believing a word from mirabel's mouth.
Meanwhile in town, Dolores heard the entire conversation, and mirabel's supposedly silent tears as she continued to finish her sewing projects for the day.
"Tia! Tia!" Dolores said as she quickly approached the stand, which surprisingly had no one there that needed healed.
"What's wrong mi vida? Who's hurt," Julieta asked worriedly.
"Noone, but Abuela just told mirabel off about her period and how she stays in her room and rests the whole week,"
"Dios mio, are you serious?"
"Deadly, tia," dolores lamented

"Tell your mama to go to the house and get your Tio to come take care of the stand while I take care of our baby," julieta said.
Dolores squeaked and ran off, telling her Tío go to the stand as she passed by him on her way to her mama in the cornfield.
When Julieta got to casita, Pepa was hot on her heels and Dolores had decided to camp out in a tree near casita wanting to hear what went down.
Pepa went to talk to Mirabel and probably calm her emotions down, and Julieta gathered her thoughts before going to her mother, who was sweeping flower petals on the second floor.
"Mamá, can we talk?" Julieta asked
"Of course mi niña," Alma said letting the broom rest against the wall
"You told mirabel that I never used to use my cycle as an excuse to be lazy. Do you know how bad her pain is?" Julieta asked a sterness to her tone.
"It can't be that bad julieta, she is just like the rest of the girls,"  Alma said defending her point
"How is she like Isa? Luisa? Or Dolores? They don't spend a night on the bathroom floor because they're cramps are so bad it makes them physically sick, nor do they beg me to make them something to ease their pain because it is so severe there are tears streaking their faces. But Mirabel does." Julieta said a sharp edge to her tone as she spoke.
"Dios mio, she goes through that every month?"  Alma said shocked
"She does, and everyone else knew, shows how little you care about her, ever since her failed gift ceremony you've cast her aside, you don't know how bad her heart broke when you stopped talking to her as much, stopped paying attention to her like before, mama you have got to open your eyes…" julieta ranted.
"Mi mariposa! What are you working on? Pepa asked as she stepped through the threshold of the nursery seeing Mirabel diligently working on a yellow piece of fabric.
"I stole one of tío Felix's shirts and I'm embroidering a sun on the front," mirabel said
Her tia closed the door and sat on the sewing bench with mirabel as she watched her niece work on the yellow sun.
"Mirabel, can I ask you to make something for me?" Pepa asked
"Si tía what do you want? Blouse and skirt? Dress?"  Mirabel asked writing in her design journal.
"I was wondering if you could make me a dress that had the neckline of Dolores’s blouses, a fitted waist and a flowy skirt like the one you usually wear?"  Pepa asked
"Si si, what's the occasion?
"Aniversary surprise," pepa said
"Ooh, OK can we do some measurement updates though I want to make sure it's perfect if it's for your anniversary," mirabel said pleasantly oblivious to the argument outside her door
A few minutes passed and Mirabel had her Tia's measurements and was beginning to unroll some yellow fabric to cut and sew into the dress pepa had requested.
Dinner came and went with a cold silence between julieta and her mother.
A few weeks passed before all was well and everyone went back to their usual doings.

Mirabel still suffered with her cycle but it wouldn't be but a few more months before her mother would formulate something to help.
Hope you enjoy ❤

Sometimes things happen...
Let's get this over with
"Mamí" dolores yelped from the bathroom.
Pepa looked at Julieta, and they exchanged a look of deep concern. The girl had just turned 11, meaning she was either hollering for her mother to get her a towel because she forgot one or…
"I'll start the kettle, you go take care of your mija," Julieta told leaving the table.
Pepa walked to the bathroom and let herself in quickly
"Mija, what's wrong?" Pepa asked.
"There's hair," she said quietly, a blush creeping to the young girl's freckled cheeks
"Of course there's hair what are you talking about?" Pepa asked confused
"No mama, there's hair,"  dolores lamented
"Where mija?" Pepa asked thoroughly confused.
"My erm…" dolores trailed as she looked down, gripping her red towel tighter in her hands.
"ahí abajo,"  dolores said almost silently as the blush on her cheeks darkened about five shades.
It dawned on pepa what her daughter ment, atleast it wasn’t  her first menses, that would've been even worse.
"That's normal mija, get dressed and come to Isabela's room, it's about time your tia and I had this talk with you three,"  pepa said almost in a humorous tone.
Dolores blushed and got herself dressed as her mama left her in the bathroom.
When Dolores came into Isabela's room there was an awkward ambiance  Julieta and pepa were sitting on the bed while Isa and Lu sat in a vine swing across from them.
"Mija, come sit," Pepa instructed.
Dolores sat in the middle of Isa and Luisa on the vine swing and waited a few seconds before her Tia finally spoke.
"You girls are growing up so quickly, and we think it's time to tell you about some of the things that will happen as you grow up,"
"Like what?" Luisa asked curious.
"lots of things mi hija, some of the changes are big some are small. One of the bigger changes is hair growing in new places, like under your arms or on your legs, even en tus partes privadas, you girls are far too young to be handling a razor, so another way to get rid of this hair if you want, is waxing," Julieta explained
"Waxing?" Isabela asked wondering how wax could remove hair.
"Si, we can melt a special kind of wax, and when it's melted but still cool enough not to burn your skin, we smear the wax onto whatever part of you you're trying to rid of hair, and withing a minute the wax hardens enough to peel off, when it gets like that we quickly peel it and with it comes the hair," Pepa explained
All three of the girls grimaced lightly thinking about how painful it might be.
"Another big change for you three is you'll start to feel sore in your chest area, and your breasts will begin to grow," Julieta explained
"The biggest change though, for you three atleast, will be your period. When all of these changes start, it'll be about a year or so but you'll start your period, and it'll happen every month until you get much much older. You'll bleed from ahí abajo for about five or so days and you may feel a lot more irritable and your gifts may be affected by this change,"
A red blush covered Isabela's face as flowers bloomed in her hair, Dolores just stayed quiet save for the occasional squeak. Luisa was very clearly embarrassed trying to hide her face in any way she could.
"What do you mean our gifts may be affected?" Dolores asked quietly
"Nothing too bad mi bebécita, your hearing may become sensitive, isa may grow more exotic plants like Bougainvilleas or Jacarandas, luisa may experience random scenarios where her strength isn't as it should be or it's more than it usually is, or like me, I always have a cloud no matter my mood," pepa explained to the girls
"What about mamá?" Luisa asked, curious of how her mom might be affected during all of this.
"Your mama doesn't really get affected during this the only thing I've noticed is when she prepares red meat, there's a metallic taste to it," pepa elaborates
Once Pepa and Julieta had covered all the bases of acne and growth spurts and everything else that follows along with puberty for the girls, the opened the floor for questions.
No questions asked and the two women left to let their girls concur among themselves.
Little did they know in just a few short years they would be repeating this with the younger two.
Hope you enjoy ❤

Flaws are fun, sometimes
Not so normal
Since Celeste was born she was thriving, a growing little girl. Something that dolores noticed when she turned two though was her storytelling. She would go on and on and on babbling about these silly stories that made no sense and seemed to never keep quiet. Celeste also made a habit of climbing on things and would often get distracted by her cousins and she seemed to never pay attention to boring things like chores.
After Dolores laid the girl down to take a nap she sat at the table with her mama, tia, and cousins, her head resting on her folded arms.
"Didn't wanna sleep did she?" Isabela asked
"Not in the slightest, I swear she is so energetic." The almost 30 year old said
"Maybe we should test her for a neurodivergency, she is showing signs of many different cases of neurodivergency like ADD and Autism." Julieta said giving the tired mother an espresso latte to boost her energy. Pepa had went off to grab a hairbrush to comb and braid Dolores’s hair for her since she had yet to have time to do anything with it.
"She's right lolo, I've been reading on neurodivergent lifestyles lately to better understand a couple of kids in the encanto, and pequeña estrella seems to be showing early signs," Mirabel said pointing to the book she had her elbow resting on.
"Maybe we should take a day to give her various activities and see how she responds,"  Luisa suggested.
"Good idea, Hermanas, vamos," Mirabel said, dragging her sisters upstairs with her to begin making the activities and puzzles.
The next day pepa and dolores sat with Celeste on the living room sofa while mirabel and isabela prepare the first activity.
When they were ready they brought Celeste in, she immediately got excited. She loved drawing and could focus intently on a singular picture.
They set her up with pencils and paper and left her for 30 minutes, she didn't notice them come back into the room.
"Estrella,"  Dolores called to her daughter
"Si mama?" She responded not taking time to look up from her picture.
"Can you help me with the laundry?" Dolores asked as she put her hand on her daughter's shoulder
"Si mama," she responded a mild look of disinterest on her face at the mention of laundry
Dolores lifted the girl onto her hip and isabela followed them to Dolores’s room to do the freshly washed and dried laundry that her father had finished.
Isabela sat conjuring up flowers of all kinds while Dolores and Celeste worked on laundry, and Celeste quickly got distracted watching her tia isa, and her flowers and cacti.
"Can you make pink flowers?" Celeste asked, sitting on the edge of her mother's bed  swinging her short legs.
"Si mi sobrinita," isabela confirmed, making a big hibiscus bloom in Celeste's short curly red hair.
After dolores folded the laundry and put it away she took Celeste to greet her father.
"Papa!" Celeste smiled as she reached out for the tall man
"Mi estrella!" Mariano exclaimed as he grabbed his daughter from Dolores swinging her around before hoisting her up onto his shoulders.
With a kiss to his lips dolores let mariano prepare Celeste for bed, he bathed her, got her dressed in a pretty pink nightgown, and braided her hair to keep it from becoming too unruly by morning.
After Celeste was in bed asleep at 7 mirabel took the information she'd gathered and observed and sat at the dinner table with her mother. Everyone else was either in their room or in the living  room.
"So she shows intense focus on things she enjoys and a disinterest in things she doesn't, not only that but she is easily distracted in her disinterested state. She held a steady amount of hyperactivity, and she has a forgetfulness about her." Julieta listed to mirabel
"Matches perfectly with Adhd, we'll tell Dolores, and go from there si mama?" Mirabel asked
"I was mentioned?" Dolores said peeping through the doorway before walking into the dining room a cream colored nightgown covering her form red soundwaves embroidered at the hemlines.
"We looked into it and Celeste has Adhd, it's nothing that will severely affect her but it will be a little more difficult to keep up with her since she's always going from one thing to another," mirabel explained
"Well if it isn't hurting her then we'll just figure it out as she grows, and we'll make sure she has all she needs to cope with her adhd," Dolores said.
The girls smiled briefly before the redheaded toddler grabbed hold of her mother's leg her stuffed puppy in her arm as she silently looked up at her with sleepy brown eyes.
"Mi estrella, what are you doing awake?" Dolores asked, hoisting the toddler onto her hip.
"It's too dark," she blankly stated resting her head on her mother's shoulder, her thumb absent-minded making its way into her mouth.
"Do you want tío Bruno to fix it?" She asked
The girl only nodded dozing off slightly with her head on her mama's shoulder.
"Tio!" Dolores called
"Mi pequena buha, need something? Chocolate? earmuffs? Your túnica?" Bruno asked quickly walking toward the woman.
"Can you make a nightlight from your bad visions for mi pequeña estrella por favor?" Dolores asked
"Of course," bruno said.
Dolores handed the almost asleep toddler to mariano, before telling him
"Let her sleep on you for a few minutes. I'm going with tio bruno to make her a nightlight,"
She left with her tío soon after to crush some old visions and put the shards in a jar to put light in the nursery for her bebécita.
After spending some quality time with her tio smashing some slabs of Jade that encased his bad visions. When they filled the jar she sealed it with some glue, and thanked her uncle for making it.
She returned to get a sleeping Celeste and take her back to her room with the glowing jar laying  her back down in her bed. She watches her baby girl sleep before returning back to her family.
Hope you enjoy ❤

Sometimes all you need is a night with your mama
Bad dreams
Alma had finally settled down her triplets after dinner. They were 7 and a complete handful, with their gifts it made it all that much more chaotic.  But she had finally settled the three of them to sleep in their rooms.
She returned to her own room exhaustion setting in harshly. She said her prayers and talked to Pedro at the window next to the candle, before slipping out of her magenta dress and into a paler pink nightgown.
About two hours after Julieta had gone to sleep she awoke with a start. She had just had a scary nightmare about her father. She never knew him, she just knew he sacrificed himself and his sacrifice made the encanto and gave them magic. Her nightmare was about what would've happened to them had their father not sacrificed his life to save them, what if they would've all died that night.
She sat up with tears in her eyes, as she ran fingers through the ends of her long salt and pepper curls. The memory of her dream plaguing her mind.
Not long after Julieta awoke, Pepa awoke as well, having another one of her bad dreams of which she accidentally flooded or destroyed the encanto and their home.
Though these dreams weren't frequent when they did happen it would trigger her insomnia and she wouldn't be able to sleep the rest of the night alone. She tried to shoo away the drizzling cloud from her head but she couldn't stop it from making her damp.
Pepa quietly opened her door and began to walk to Julieta’s room when her eyes caught a green pair of shorts in her sight.
"You too Pepa?" Bruno whispered
"I had a bad dream, so I was going to sleep with juli, what are you doing up?" Pepa asked her drizzling cloud beginning to let up
"I had another vision nightmare, and I was going to sleep with Juli," Bruno told his sister.
Something not very commonly known about Bruno is he has vision nightmares, or sleep visions. He gets these when he's had a bad day or a long day; which for him is often.
The door behind them opens, and Juli emerges with tear stained cheeks.
"Juli!" The two exclaim quietly, rushing to wrap her up in a tight hug.
"Another nightmare about papa," Pepa asked in a whisper.  Julieta nods, tucking her head further into pepa's shoulder, and unkempt auburn curls.
Meanwhile while the triplets contemplate whose bed to sleep in, Alma is awoken with a nightmare of the night Pedro was killed. This happened frequently, she sat up and let her mind wander, not realising she was crying.
"Let's just go sleep with mama, she always makes us feel better," Pepa suggested.
The triplets begin to walk to their mothers room. Casita creaks and the door opens lightly.  The triplets stand in the threshold, Julieta being the one to call out to their mother
"Mama?"
"Ay mi bebés, what are you doing awake?" Alma asked a little worried since it was all of them.
"Bad dreams," Pepa said.
"Can we sleep in here with you tonight mama?" Bruno asked
"Si mi bebés, come o- omph," Alma said before being bombarded with three children hugging her and nearly knocking her over.
"Let's try to get some sleep," Alma said as she settled herself down with her three children, quickly finding a comfortable position.
When the four finally fell asleep once more julieta was curled against her mother's left side, pepa was sprawled out close behind her, her head resting on their mothers abdomen. And Bruno was sleeping on his back with his head against his mother's right side. Bruno had quickly ran to fetch his and pepa's blankets so they didn't get cold.
For the rest of the night the small family slept peacefully enjoying the presence of each other.
Hope you enjoy ❤
