Hey! I know you focus on Bucky, but I was hoping you could help me find a Steve Rogers fic. I read it a while ago, and wanted to send it to a friend but I can’t remember who wrote it! I think it’s called like ‘out of time’ or something, it’s about Steve getting injured and being on the brink of death, and the only thing that will save him is a dose of his original serum from the 40s so his girlfriend uses pym particles to go back in time and get them to save his life while trying not to change the past ans therefore alter the future she will return to. It’s spectacularly written, but I can’t for the life of me find the series!! Thank you in advance❣️

Please stop referring to Sam Wilson as "the African American man", or the dark skinned man", while describing Steve and Bucky as men with "ocean blue eyes", or Natasha and Wanda as "gorgeous red heads", in the same sentence. If you can describe white characters without using the color of their skin, you can do the same for non white characters. As a dark skin black woman, It's uncomfortable to read said descriptions of Sam Wilson. It feels as though the reader insert was created without the thought of a black reader in mind. It also makes Sam feel like an afterthought. Non white characters deserve to be treated with the same care and attention as white characters.

It’s barely past ten in the morning when the chatter starts.

You heard a few words about it from the kids during first period. A mystery, questions were thrown around the classroom— who, when, and how? Nobody asks you in particular, but you tell the kids to knock it off anyway.

It’s only the first day after all. They’ll probably get their answers by the end of the week.

When you walk into the teacher’s lounge for your scheduled free period, though, that’s when you hear the teachers talking about it.

It being a six-foot-something, muscled, bearded English teacher sitting in the middle of the lounge, quietly minding his business.

Next to you, Wanda sighs dreamily. She leans against the coffee and snacks counter, failing to hide her shock behind the rim of her mug. “Oh my god.”

“I know,” Maria says in the exact same manner, her dark brown eyes roving over the figure hunched over the table on the other side of the room. She’s been stirring her own coffee ever since you walked over to get one for yourself, going on two straight minutes now.

You side-eye the teachers, turning to peer — at least a bit more conspicuously — at the man.
