Requested: An angst fluff scenario with jimin where he’s having trouble with learning the choreography and he takes his stress out on you

The comeback is hands down the most stressful time in the boys lives. All the new songs and dances they have to keep straight. But out of all the boys, Jimin takes it the hardest. He has to do every single move perfectly. No matter how many times you tell him that he’s doing everything so amazing and perfect he can always see the flaws.

“Jimin, baby please you’ve been in the studio for six hours today. Yesterday you were in here for four. Please stop and just get something to eat” You beg, watching with sad eyes as Jimin groans with frustration.

“Y/N we have one more week to get this down and I can’t this move yet!” He sighs, walking in a small circle while staring at the floor, “I need to get this down before I can do anything else.”

Walking over to Jimin you put your hand on his shoulder and stop him from moving away from you. Gently you place a hand under his chin and turn his face towards your own. He looks so tired, bags are prominent under his eyes and you wonder when the last time he slept was. If he’s even slept at all in the past few days. Sweat is dripping down his face and his chest is heaving. And yet he’s still the most perfect man you’ve ever seen.

“Jimin… You can’t do this to yourself…” You whisper, then gasp as Jimin tears himself away from you.

“I need to get this right!” He yells, not directly at you but it still makes you take a step back.

“At what cost are you going to get this right? Are you wanting to pass out? Because I can tell you’re at the brink of exhaustion and I can’t stand to see you do this to yourself over a dance move.” You can’t help but let some anger into your tone, placing a hand on your hip.

“Well if you can’t stand to see me dance why are you still here Y/N?” Jimin retorts, turning around to face you with anger washing over his features.

“Woah woah I never said I couldn’t stand to see you dance , what I said was that I can’t stand to watch you let yourself slowly waste away!” Now you’re yelling, your temper getting the best of you.

“You know how important this is to me Y/N!! I have to get this right and you’re just getting in my way, distracting me from what I need to do!” He yells, his eyes blazing now with his own temper fueled by lack of sleep.

“Oh I’m a distraction? I don’t really see how that’s possible I’ve barely seen you in the past week! So obviously I’m not the problem here, you just can’t get it because you aren’t fucking sleeping! God why did I even come down here, you’re such a stubborn asshole! ” You scream, pointing a finger at him.

A beat passes, both of you staring in silence with anger rolling off your bodies in crushing waves.

“Leave.” Jimin says, his tone void of all emotion as he turns away from you.

And you leave.

You’re my Utopia (pt 2)

“Lets break up,” Jungkook says, suddenly. In that moment, it was as if time stopped. You couldn’t believe your ears. Sure, maybe you guys were in the middle of a rough patch, but why did he want to break up? Did you do something? Did you drive him away?

“Jungkook…why?” you ask, still trying your best to comprehend the situation at hand. Your mind was racing, trying to figure out where you went wrong. What could you have possibly done that was so bad?

“Y/n.. I just think it’s for the best” he said, slowly. 

“But, where did I go wrong?” you ask, wanting to so desperately know where you had gone wrong. 

“It’s not you, it’s me” he says as if it wasn’t the most cliche of break-up lines. 

“Jungkook please… we can work this out,” you can feel the tears form in your eyes. Was he joking? 

“Y/n, I like someone else” he says, finally. 

And it was at that moment your heart broke completely. You could only stare at your boyfriend…ex-boyfriend as he avoided your eyes. You felt like he had sucked out all the oxygen left in the room and you just…couldn’t breathe. 

“I met her a few months ago, and we became friends. And I think I really like her, ok? She’s an idol too, and she just understands me and my lifestyle. Sooyoung just…gets me. Now, I know what you’re thinking and you didn’t do anything wrong ok? But my life is so complicated and I just need someone who is… on my level?” he said as if he was struggling for the right words and little did he know each word he said felt like him taking a knife and stabbing you repeatedly in the heart. 

“You would never understand my lifestyle, and you shouldn’t have to! But, I’m always going to be around the world now, and I.. I just need someone who gets me, you know?” he continued, unaware of how the whole world shattering in front of you. 

“But hey, we haven’t really hung out in a long time, I’m sure you probably realized. And I’m not the kind of guy who would ever cheat. But this is probably for the best. You deserve a guy who is going to be there for you and can treat you right, not someone like me who is gone half the time.” His words were giving you whiplash. At one moment, he made it sound like you weren’t good enough for him, and the other he made it sound like he wasn’t good enough for you.

“But, we should definitely be friends still. You’re still my best friend after all.” He smiled, giving you a reassuring pat on the back. And at that moment, you had never felt so distant from him, even if he was across the fucking world.

You weren’t sure what you wanted at that point. He was your Jungkook, after all. You wanted him in your life always, right? He was your boyfriend, and though he’s breaking up with you, you want the best for him, right? You still want to be in his life, right?

“I know this is hard, but we should definitely still be friends. Go back to being the friends we were before we started dating!” He said so easily.

“Thanks for understanding, Y/n” he said, taking your silence as agreeement. You were honestly still in shock.

“Yeah…ok” you say, trying to stay strong.

“Ok then! I’ll text you and we should hang out sometime like we used to. As friends of course” he chuckles, not noticing your grim expression.

“Well then, I’m heading back to the dorm! I’ll see you around, y/n” he says, taking off. He was in and out of your apartment like a storm coming and going in minutes and along the way he had crushed your heart too.

You went to bed feeling empty. Feeling nothing. You just laid in bed wondering if you were caught in the middle of a nightmare. And then your mind started to rewind. You started thinking about how Jungkook had confessed and how you began dating. How much fun it was and how you swore that he was your everything. How much you loved him.

And yet it was only now that you chose to see the signs that perhaps you put more effort into this relationship. How you made him your priority. That you always made sure he was eating and sleeping properly. That he could always rant to you.

And that’s when you realized that somewhere along the way of being his girlfriend, he stopped seeing you as one. You were more like his…personal assistant? Maid? And you realized that all this time you were mistaking being taking taken for granted as Love. And yeah, that wasn’t the case when you first started dating, but it certainly has been the last few months.

And what? You didn’t understand him? You didn’t understand his lifestyle? You thought you did. You understood that he was busy with his career, especially after getting recognition worldwide. You knew not to ask for too much of his damn precious time. You knew that with what little time you had, you shouldn’t make him worried about your problems. And maybe that’s where you went wrong.

When you slowly started to realize all of these things, you slowly started to feel an anger burn inside of you. All of your life, you had consciously made decisions with Jungkook in mind, whether you liked it or not. You moved to Seoul because he had casually brought it up though it sucked moving away from your family. You always went to the meat restaurant he loved, though you weren’t really a fan of their food. You always spent time with him on his schedule, even if that meant you had to stay up late even though you had classes early the next morning. You always sacrificed parts of you to make Jungkook happy and you realized now that…your life revolves around him quite literally. And what, he dares say you don’t understand him?

You thought you knew him like the back of your hand but clearly you were wrong. And now he wants to go back to being friends?

Though you had kind of agreed at the moment, you knew that it was a lot easier said than done. You couldn’t be friends with him and go back how you were just because he deemed you had to. You still loved him, despite all he had put you through.

And because of that, you decided. It was time, for the first time in a long damn time, that you were going to put yourself first. Learn how to love yourself again before Jungkook came around. Learn how to live without Jungkook. Learn how to do things for you from now on.

And so, you were going to leave Jungkook’s life…at least for the time being. You weren’t exactly sure what to do, but you knew that you couldn’t wait for Jungkook any longer, or it was your life you were throwing away.

Jungkook came back to the dorm feeling lighter. He was surprised by how well everything had gone! Now, he was free to date Sooyoung. Sooyoung was an idol like him and well…she was hot. A lot of fans had shipped them together and that’s how she caught his interest in the first place.

When they actually got to know one another, a lot of people commented on how well they looked together. Of course, all of this was slowly getting to his head though he refused to see that.

The fame they had achieved as of recently had been getting to his head and his members also were starting to realize it but they chose to say nothing about it seeing as he still behaved well. Well, except for breaking your heart.

All the members were sat in the living room doing their own thing as Jungkook walked in and they all eyed him. “Where have you been?” Asked Jin.

“Oh, I was at y/n’s!” Jungkook says casually.

“Oh how is she doing? Bring her over soon, yeah? We haven’t seen her in a long time!” Says Jimin.

“Oh, we just broke up” says Jungkook.

“WHAT” all six yell back.

“Woah calm down, ok? We agreed to be friends. Look the relationship wasn’t going anywhere and I kind of have feelings for someone else” Jungkook says as he grabs something to drink.

“What the Hell? Jungkook is she ok?” Yoongi asks.

“Yeah, she agreed too. Look, it’s for the best. I wasn’t going to cheat on her. Plus, we’re going to be friends still. We’re idols, hyung!” Jungkook says as a matter of fact.

“And what the fuck is that supposed to mean” asks Taehyung, getting irritated. You were one of Taehyungs best friends and he hated how lightly Jungkook was taking the situation.

“It means that our lifestyle is different from hers! I need to be with someone who understands me! Someone like me! Look, Sooyoung understands me the best. I’m going to ask her out soon.” Jungkook says, plopping himself down on the couch despite all the dirty looks he was getting.

“You think Y/n didn’t understand you?” Namjoon asks. Namjoon knew you well and he knew how much you cared for Jungkook. You always tried your best for him.

“I didn’t say that. I just don’t think she would ever truly understand what it’s like being an idol. I can’t be there for her! And she can’t be there for me when I need her either. Plus, it’s not like I cut her out of my life. I’m sure she’ll come around as our friend ok? Now get off of my back please!” Jungkook whined.

He got up and went to his room, choosing to play a few video games alone instead. He didn’t think what he did was wrong in the slightest. He had his…he means both you and his best interests at heart.

Jungkook only heard the door slam shut a few minutes later, but continued to play his game.

You were still laying in bed when you heard a small knock on the door. You scolded yourself for hoping it was Jungkook again, but you knew very well that it wasn’t him.

You make the walk to your front door with your legs feeling like metal. You just wanted to sleep. You were shocked though, when you found Hoseok at the door.

“Oppa?” You ask, wondering why he was there. You were close to all the boys, the closest probably being Taehyung or Jimin, but Hoseok always seemed to keep his distance from you. He was never rude to your or anything, but he just didn’t open up much to you.

And so you were wondering what he was doing at your door this late at night. You were even more shocked though, when he pulled you into your arms and just hugged you.

“I’m sorry about Jungkook” he said after a few seconds. And you don’t know what came overbyou, but all the emotions you felt before came rushing back and you just cried into his arms.

Hoseok knew he wasn’t the closest to you, but he always was in awe about how mature you were. Sure he was about 4 years older, but you were always in deep and mature conversations with Namjoon. Or you’d always help Jin cook. Even gave Yoongi advice on better sleeping habits. And yet he knew you were still young when he got to see how you interacted with the younger ones too.

But you were Jungkooks girlfriend. Not to mention long time best friend. He knew he might have caught feelings for you when you ended up moving to Seoul a few years ago, but he always stayed away in fear of hurting you and Jungkook. So today when Jungkook announced your breakup, he knew that you were probably alone and crying in your room. Because he always noticed how you looked at Jungkook, like he was your world. And he had no right getting in between that. But at this moment, making sure you were ok was his biggest priority.

You had poured your heart out to Hoseok and maybe you were too upset and that’s why your words flowed out easily but something about Hoseok set your mind at ease a little.

“So I cant be his friend. I don’t want to be, oppa, I just can’t” you say, after explaining your situation.

“Hey hey, it’s ok. You don’t have to do anything you don’t want to, ok? I’m glad you decided to start doing things for yourself from now” he said honestly. He always hated how Jungkook seemed to take you for granted. “Do you know what you’re going to do now?”

“I think I’m going to finish off college strong. Really focus on my music. I want to move out of here, oppa” you say, still crying. You hadn’t really thought about it, but you knew you didn’t want to stay in the apartment. It was too big for you and a little more expensive than you were willing to pay, but it was close to Jungkook.

“Ok, ok. Take your time, ok? And, keep me posted please? I want to make sure you’re ok. The other boys too. You don’t have to talk to Jungkook, but don’t leave us too” he says, trying to calm you down. And when you said you had wanted to leave, he felt his heart drop for a second.

“Yes I will. Thank you, for being here tonight” you say, wiping your tears.

“Of course, anything for you. You should try and get some sleep. Don’t think of that little shit, you really do deserve the world ok. If anything, you were too good for him. Always remember that” he says. He knew he shouldn’t badmouth Jungkook but he couldn’t help himself. He was nothing short of an ass to you.

You giggle at Hoseok attempt to console you and Hoseok knew that running to your apartment at night was worth it at that moment.
