TMNT: Mutant Mayhem is one of the best animated movies I've ever seen, beyond gorgeous and fun. Flashback Splinter is my favorite, I wish he had looked like that for more of the movie.

I feel so fooled. The trailers led me to believe they were treating Bowser as a serious character. Nothing could be further from the truth. They made a complete mockery of him. It's everything I feared they would do to him. I'm so let down. 💔

(Edit) Seriously, Bowser in this movie sucked. Literally his only motivation was to simp over the princess, it was like Family Guy writing. It's flanderization at its worst. So, like I said, this movie really let me down.

Blacksad: They All Fall Down Part One is great, the art is amazing as usual and the suspense is well-done. But, as usual, Diaz Canales's attempts at world-building with the anthro world are almost painful. It's riddled with animal cliches like wolves in sheep's clothing, raccoons stereotyped as criminals, and the usual cringy cat similes like cats landing on their feet. This volume takes it an extra step further, though. It opens with a performance of Shakespeare's play "The Tempest", and who plays the lizard-like Caliban? A crocodile. Come on! It's so cringingly self-aware. I just wish Canales would stop these half-assed attempts at anthro-worldbuilding, because he's clearly not good at it. Guarnido's anthro world is gorgeous, though, as usual.

Christmas came early, guys. Seriously, look at how we've been blessed. This makes every bit of my Bowser-loving heart sing.

(Edit) It hurts so bad to look back on this. Something that looked like it was gonna be amazing, only to be a crushing disappointment. Turning Bowser from the fun and intimidating villain to a simpering incel is the biggest crime I've ever seen done to such an iconic character. Screw this movie.

PAL Games

I'm tired of people dissing PAL versions of games. If you're a European, you probably grew up with many games running and/or sounding a little differently... provided you grew up in the 6 year period where PAL games tended to be different. If you prefer the NTSC versions of games, good for you, they're everywhere. But it really gripes me when people diss the PAL format for no reason, especially Europeans who grew up with that. I'm a European, and PAL versions of games are my childhood. Given the choice - which, as a PAL gamer, you almost never have nowadays - I will always play my childhood games the way I grew up with them. End of rant.

Ganon from the Legend of Zelda cartoon is so underrated. He’s an awesome villain; he’s got a great design, a charming and gleefully evil personality, and a consistent menace to the other characters. He’s a very cunning and powerful sorcerer, and comes really close to accomplishing his goals, multiple times. Cartoon Ganon deserves love.

Yeah, from the amazing trailer, this sure looked promising. Then the movie itself dropped with that "Peaches" nonsense and I was flattened with disappointment.
