I really love this particular outfit of Holo's (she has a lot of them!) but the colors work well together so I've deemed it her autumn outfit. Anime Detour 2016, day one was a success! I miss conventions and can’t wait to return to AD again in April! Also - it’s crazy how this use to be a good quality photo, but oof - the pixelation hurts a bit. Still loved my time as Yona though so had to share! I still have the clip! The cosplay itself has been recycled and repurposed.

I had a lot of fun at Anime Milwaukee back in March. It was my first time going along with a couple of friends of mine and I had only heard good things about that con! I was not disappointed when we arrived, I loved the venue - it gives it a lot of space to grow into something great.

I also had an amazing opportunity to step outside my comfort zone and cosplay a really badass Erza; while Erza is totally awesome, I purposely setup more photoshoots to be taken of her so I could gain more confidence in front of a camera. I say it was a success! If anyone knows me even a little bit - I don’t normally reveal so much skin, even for cosplay.

Again, it was my mission to step outside that comfort zone on purpose and it helped cosplaying such an awesome character like Erza - who ironically faces the same issues sometimes. She feels comforted and only protected when she wears her armor, but when this outfit was revealed she broke free from those thoughts and kicked some butt! More Erza to come!

I can’t believe I was attending my first Anime Milwaukee 6 years ago and now in less than 3 weeks I’ll be attending it as my first con after almost 2 years of no conventions.

I do want to explore more Erza cosplays, even now.

Almost ready for @animemilwaukee , first time going with awesome friends aaanddd I get to see additional cousin, friends, and more friends down there! Erza wig done, and actually straight after putting wire in it XP I’m getting more and more excited to cosplay her! Top is actually just a bra wrapped safely with like a Coban self adhesive sports wrap. I wrap for martial arts all the time so I know how to safely! Wig is from @arda and so happy with the purchase - I didn’t have to sew my own upwefts this time.

I don’t think she would let me do this nowadays. Cookie is turning 8 in March, but maybe Korra! She is turning 2 in February, 2022.

Cookie is a totoro now! So cute, though she basically was giving me the “look” the whole time like “what is this human doing.” I know I can train her to wear puppy cosplays *__* I’m excited and now even more motivated, mwahahaha. Cookie will basically be like, “I’ll put up with you for treats.”
