Well that's a wrap! Every year I think things cannot get better and then they do! We've covered a LOT of events but my absolute favourite was Robin and Sammi's surprise wedding because all the guests all thought it was a 40th birthday event they were going too. It was also the one I was counting down the days to be over because I was SO scared of letting the cat out of the bag! We've rebranded, we launched the new website, we took on dedicated office staff, and we did a couple of bookings that were so shhhh we can't even tell you about them! Argh!! 😊😊Team bells you rocked, we've worked so much faster this year and laughed lots. We've seen beautiful venues, gardens and so much wildlife and nature. So winter pack down is now underway, as is the annual bunting remake - yay! As we hate social media posts that only say the good stuff and we like a bit of balance - it was also back breaking, soul destroying and bloody miserable with the rain over the last few weeks, we've had stubbed toes, nettle rash, water dripping off our faces in the blazing sun (for all 5 days of it), sunburn, spikeys stuck in feet, hurt backs, no weekend drinking, vomit in tents to clean up, unfriendly ground to hammer pegs in and unfriendly grass (spikeys - we hate them!), mosquito bites and the b*****d horse fly bites. It still rocked though. Anyway, we're off for a well deserved and overdue massive lay in! 2017. Firstly I was stopped when I took this, but I was trying to be quick so I wasn't causing a traffic jam so it didn't focus! This is the Emsworth Common road random peacock who I first saw earlier this year (I've heard him several time since). Today was only the second sighting and sods law I was on my own again!!! We've been craning our necks every time we drive to the unit to see if he lives in the cottage opposite (last seen jumping their fence about 6 months ago!m) but alas no joy!
