A few notes before I start: Sorry about the white backgrounds, thatā€™s how they showed up and I didnā€™t know how to fix them. Also, these summaries are going to be a lot shorter than they have in my last few posts just since there are so many characters. Anyway, letā€™s begin.
Literally godly, this should be your regular outfit -
Rantaro Amami - I shouldnā€™t have to be the first person to point out to you that heā€™s hot. Not to mention that the pink bottoms work wonders with his hair.
Nagito Komaeda - Hhhhhhhh
Byakuya Togami - I will admit, Iā€™m basing this position more off of his appearance in the promo art. I donā€™t know how much I like this look on his regular sprite, but heā€™s so hot in that promo art, you donā€™t even know.
Show me who picked this out for you so I can thank them -
Sayaka Maizono - SHE LOOKS SO CUTE OML. Iā€™d go through each detail, but in short: everything.
Gundham Tanaka - Shirtless Gundham, what more can I say?
Ibuki Mioda - I absolutely adore how her swimsuit doesnā€™t just go with her hair, but matches it. Perfection.
Korekiyo Shinguji - When the trailer first dropped and I saw the screen with all of the released swimsuits, I immediately started scanning to see if they put Korekiyo in a wetsuit and by God, they did.
Shuichi Saihara - He looks more tired than usual, but I just have a gut feeling his other sprites will look better.
Mondo Owada - I probably shouldā€™ve put him in standard, but he looks so good without a shirt on, I couldnā€™t possibly.
Kaito Momota - Space shorts.
Sakura Ogami - She was actually going to be somewhere in the first tier originally, but I just canā€™t put her there because of the color. I probably shouldā€™ve put her down with the other people with this problem (Uhhh... okay... I guess) but I couldnā€™t bear to.
Cute!/Cool! -
Chihiro Fujisaki - a;lskdfh;adskfijshdkjc Heā€™s so cute, someone help. Iā€™m drowning in cute. He looks so excited to be wearing it, too. I think this was the best choice they couldā€™ve gone with to not give him something too masculine or feminine, fantastic choice.
Leon Kuwata - This category was originally just going to be ā€œCute!ā€ but his bottoms looked so cool, I had to put him up here.
Toko Fukawa - Not only does her swimsuit look good on her, but I love the way that they designed her and Genocide Jack to be wearing the same swimsuit in different styles. Super cool.
Tenko Chabashira - I think this was one of the only palette swaps that I actually liked. There are probably a few other swaps that I didnā€™t even notice, but I like this one specifically because of the color swap. She looks great in pink.
Kyoko Kirigiri - I think I wouldā€™ve normally put her in standard, but her gloves are just too cool.
Mukuro Ikusaba - Love the colors and love the pattern. Simple, yet great.
Mahiru Koizumi - Mahiru, your camera. You canā€™t take that in the water. Mahiru- MAHIRU
Akane Owari - This is actually the swimsuit she wore during chapter 2 in the original game and I thought she looked great both times.
Chiaki Nanami - Same as Akane, so thereā€™s not really any reason for either one to be higher or lower than the other. Peko would be up here too, but itā€™s really basic.
Gonta Gokuhara - I just really like the pattern and also that heā€™s still carrying the thing over his shoulder. Itā€™s really weird who got to keep accessories and who didnā€™t, but weā€™ll get there.
Masaru Daimon - He just looks so cool in his shorts, Iā€™m sure heā€™s excited to have them.
Shirokuma - Despite how I may feel about Shirokuma, this is a very cute outfit for them.
Standard -
Kaede Akamatsu - Definitely the best-looking of the protagonists, even if Shuichiā€™s higher. Heā€™s only higher because I have faith that his faults are because of the sprite choice. If Iā€™m wrong, sue me.
Kirumi Tojo - This is another instance of getting to keep the accessories. She still has her headband on. Why?? It wasnā€™t crucial to her character or anything. I get that Kyoko has backstory reasons and Gonta and Mahiruā€™s personalities revolve around their items, but why Kirumi? She had other things that defined her better.
Peko Pekoyama - Like I said before, basic and kinda bland. She still looks good, though.
Fuyuhiko Kuzuryuu - He actually gained an accessory. Why does he have a necklace now? His shorts are nice, though.
Hajime Hinata - O r a n g. Or maybe red.
Maki Harukawa - Basic swimsuit, no color change whatsoever. A nice swimsuit, but nothing special.
Genocide Jack - Everything I said before about Tokoā€™s swimsuit still applies, Genocide Jackā€™s is just way more boring.
Aoi Asahina - A good color swap, but not good enough to make up for her basic swimsuit.
Monomi - I like that they put her in a one-piece. Very cute. Wish they would do that all the time...
Monaca Towa - I just noticed that she is the only character other than Monomi to wear a one-piece. Why??
Makoto Naegi - The most basic swimsuit imaginable combined with his regular color scheme and pattern.
Hiroko Hagakure - I think I like that she kept her jacket? Maybe? Itā€™s a different jacket, but it still counts.
Nagisa Shingetsu - Black and white bottoms. Okay. You do you, buddy.
Imposter - Itā€™s fine. Itā€™s just fine.
Izuru - I like that they gave him a separate swimsuit from Hajime, but why is it so bland and boring?
I love you, so Iā€™ll forgive it -
Sonia Nevermind - She actually looks great and is so cute. So cute that sheā€™d be in the top tier if not for one crucial fact. If youā€™ll notice, I mentioned earlier that Peko, Chiaki, and Akane are all wearing the same swimsuit here that they had worn in the original second game. However, thereā€™s another character that appears in the scene Iā€™m talking about that is wearing a different outfit than they are here. That charcter is Sonia, who was seen in a wetsuit in the original game. It was thrown off as a joke, but I still canā€™t stop thinking about how pretty she looked in that wetsuit. Itā€™s literally my profile picture for my main blog, thatā€™s how pretty she is wearing it. Iā€™m mad because theyā€™re basically agreeing that she didnā€™t look pretty/sexy in the wetsuit when that couldnā€™t be more wrong.
Celestia Ludenberg - I literally just wish she was wearing a one-piece, it can be the same style and everything. Honestly a missed opportunity.
Kotoko Utsugi - Itā€™s just a weird pattern. Love the colors, though.
K1-B0 - Iā€™d be lying if I said I didnā€™t love the floaty, but he still deserves more respect.
Miu Iruma - The pattern is... fitting... but still bad.
Kiyotaka Ishimaru - Taka... sweetie... why...?
Uhhh... okay... I guess -
Angie Yonaga - I like the look, but itā€™s exactly what she usually wears just without the jacket. Does that mean that sheā€™s always wearing a swimsuit? Why? Even Asahina didnā€™t wear a swimsuit as her regular outfit.
Kazuichi Soda - I definitely like this color better than the piss yellow he used to have, but itā€™s still not great. I like that he got to keep his little logo thing, but Iā€™m confused as to why he gets to keep his hat. Itā€™s just like Kirumi keeping her headpiece. Iā€™m fine with it in this case, but why him and not...? Well, weā€™ll get there.
Komaru Naegi - A lot of the outfits in this tier are just because I like the look and not the color scheme, including Komaru. Yellowā€™s just an odd fit for the shade of green that her hair is.
Tsumugi Shirogane - The same as Komaru. Nice style, but the yellow and blue clash for me.
Hiyoko Saionji - Surprise surprise, itā€™s the same thing. I think the style really fits her, but I hate the yellow and green. Not into it.
Junko Enoshima - Ok, weā€™re out of the color scheme repetition. I donā€™t know why sheā€™s wearing a tanktop. It just looks a little off, but I canā€™t place why. I donā€™t know why she isnā€™t just wearing the regular swimsuit like she was in the promo art. If she was, Iā€™d probably put her in Standard.
Yasuhiro Hagakure - Iā€™ll be honest, I didnā€™t notice the alien pattern on his shorts until after I had already downloaded the picture and closed out of the tier list tab. If I had noticed before, Iā€™d probably put him in Cute!/Cool! but I still donā€™t really like the color scheme. Fitting, but not pleasing.
Kurokuma - The only reason heā€™s above Kokichi is because he has a water gun and I think thatā€™s cute.
Kokichi Oma - Literally just gut instinct. I like that he kept his checkered pattern and purple color scheme. Something just told me he should be down here.
Monokuma - It just feels wrong, but I canā€™t place why, same as Kokichi.
Teruteru Hanamura - I probably wouldā€™ve liked his outfit better if his shirt was buttoned up at least a little bit. Now that I think about it, Mondo shouldā€™ve had one of these, too.
Who signed off on this? -
Usami - WHY IS SHE IN A BIKINI??? SHEā€™S A STUFFED RABBIT.
Nekomaru Nidai - I can absolutely see him picking this swimsuit to wear, but that doesnā€™t mean I like it.
Mikan Tsumiki - You know why sheā€™s here.
God no. I hate it -
Ryoma Hoshi - So Mahiru gets to keep her camera, Kirumi gets to keep her headpiece, and Kazuichi gets to keep his hat.. but Ryoma doesnā€™t get anything? I genuinely had to take a second to figure out who this was the first time I saw him. He canā€™t even have a sunhat or anything? That wouldā€™ve been cute.
Himiko Yumeno - I canā€™t imagine a world in which she would choose this swimsuit for herself. The color is off, the style is off, I could much more easily see her wearing something similar to Monacaā€™s swimsuit. Basically, just let some of the girls wear one-pieces. They donā€™t all have to be in bikinis.
Jataro Kemuri - The pattern. I canā€™t even stand to look at it long enough to figure out what it is.
Hifumi Yamada - It did take me a second to figure out what his swimsuit was, but as soon as I did, he hit the bottom of the list. Again, itā€™s definitely fitting, but I still hate it.

MAJOR SPOILERS FOR DANGANRONPA V3 (and probably the other games, too, just to be safe)
So, just as a heads up, I made this list a few months ago, I think in the middle of chapter 4. I was going to update it, but I realized that any feelings I had were just made stronger and the list was still relatively accurate. Here are my thoughts:
I see no god up here other than me
Kirumi Tojo - As you may know about me, I can typically tell who my favorite characters are going to be before I indulge myself in a series. This has especially rung true throughout Danganronpa, I was able to correctly guess Taka and Gundham as my respective favorites before actually seeing them in action. Let me tell you that Kirumi surprised me. I originally guessed K1-B0 as my favorite and while heā€™s still up there, he is nowhere near Kirumi. I realized she was my favorite the moment chapter 2 ended. Not only were her execution and plan wonderful and brilliantly done, her last-ditch plea to convince everyone to let her live sold her for me. Not only did this plea make sense, it almost worked and I kinda wish it wouldā€™ve. Her motive was almost completely selfless and she worked damn hard to escape. Her execution was the only time I cried during this game because I wanted so badly for her to escape, but I knew that all of her efforts were futile. I know her biggest criticism is that her plan from hiding Ryomaā€™s body was completely unnecessary, but I like to believe she was just nervous and overthought the whole thing. I mean, this had to go perfectly in order for her to save her country, of course sheā€™s going to add a few too many steps.
Miu IrumaĀ - Okay, I know this is going to sound fake, but I actually really love the dichotomy of her character. The way that she acts so self-righteous but is actually quite self-conscious really stood out to me. Of course sheā€™s funny and hot, too, but I feel itā€™s important to really appreciate the way her character was written. It amazes me that she was written to be the least likable character in the entire series and still ended up being one of my favorites.
Youā€™re the best
K1-B0Ā - Yes, I type out his name every time. As I already mentioned, he was my original guess for favorite character, but it obviously didnā€™t work out that way. He stayed in his position of first for a while, but I always knew it wasnā€™t meant to last, I just didnā€™t know which character would take his place. Even besides my doubts, I still love K1-B0, I just wish more couldā€™ve been done with him in the earlier chapters. There are several opportunities for him to be a really funny character and have good interactions with Kokichi and Miu, but he just comes off as annoying. I feel like he only really started to be utilized after Miu died with Monotaro and I really enjoyed their dynamic, I just wish we couldā€™ve had some of this side of K1-B0 before this point.
Kokichi OmaĀ - This spot probably isnā€™t as subjective as Iā€™d like it to be. Every time Kokichi was on screen, I would get visibly annoyed, but I knew I was in for a treat figuring out his deeper intents behind what heā€™s saying. The only reason I really like Kokichi at all is because heā€™s fun to analyze. It gets boring to analyze Nagito because his motivation is pretty much just a mix ofĀ ā€œhopeā€ andĀ ā€œheā€™s crazy.ā€ Kokichiā€™s character trait of lying makes it so fun to individually analyze each of his lines to figure out whether heā€™s telling the truth and why or why not. Other than that, I guess he has some funny dialogue with Miu sometimes.
Gonta GokuharaĀ - I really donā€™t know. I know this is way too early to be unsure about characters, but I just know I couldnā€™t put him any lower, but I also couldnā€™t put him any higher. Heā€™s just such a sweetheart, but thatā€™s about where the substance ends. I adored every time he was on my screen, but everything that wouldā€™ve been fun to analyze about him just leads back to Kokichi. I still really enjoy his presence, though. Iā€™d like a big Gonta hug.
Kaede AkamatsuĀ - Iā€™ll just say it, I think she wouldā€™ve made for a better protagonist. Iā€™ll talk about this later, but Shuichiā€™s character development doesnā€™t really feel like it goes anywhere and the twist doesnā€™t feel worth it because of that. I think the twist should still have been incorporated, but with the roles reversed. Either way, we got what we got, and what we got was tears from Clair de Lune. But seriously, she really is a great pianist. Iā€™ve been trying to learn the piece for ages and itā€™s still too complicated for me. I mean, itā€™s in 9/8 for Godā€™s sake. Good for her, regardless.
Tenko ChabashiraĀ - Tenkoā€™s a weird case. I didnā€™t actually care for her that much until quite literally a few lines before she died. Fun fact: I spoiled this entire series for myself before I ended up playing it and Iā€™m still mad at myself. This meant that I was just waiting for all of the deaths to happen, especially Tenkoā€™s. I was fully aware that every line could be her last during the seance, but I wasnā€™t aware that she would pull on my heart strings before she went. When she tells Himiko that sheā€™ll do the seance in her place so she can talk to Angie, I literally almost started crying. Before this, Tenko was just kind of annoying, but not too bad, but this moment really solidified her spot for me. She really just wanted to help Himiko and I wish she had chosen a better target for her affections.
Hey, I think youā€™re pretty cool, I like you a lot
Shuichi SaiharaĀ - Time to elaborate on what I said for Kaede. I actually really enjoyed Shuichiā€™s character development throughout the first three chapters. Before coming to Hopeā€™s Peak, he was afraid to hurt people with his detective skills. Kaede notices this and helps him through it, passing the reins to Kaito once she passes. Shuichi convicts Kaede and later Kirumi, much to everyoneā€™s detriment, but theyā€™re all okay with it (Nobody was really super sad about Korekiyo to begin with, lol). Then, starting in chapter 4, everyone just kinda flips on him. Shuichi + the rest of the gang - Kokichi all believe that Gonta is innocent and Shuichi tries to prove this. Instead of supporting him, everyone (especially Kaito) tries to... stop him??? from proving it??? Theyā€™re all just in agreement that it wasnā€™t Gonta, but donā€™t want to proceed with the investigation to figure out who it was instead. Itā€™s really frustrating and made my overall experience much less enjoyable. This is bumped up a few notches in chapter 5 with Maki. I understand that she was part of the whole case, but that doesnā€™t make it any less annoying that she wonā€™t let me prove Kaito was the victim. It just feels like the character development was all for nothing and every student feels like a human obstacle (except K1-B0, of course). Still relatable and emo, though.
Rantaro AmamiĀ - I would make the joke everyone expects, but Iā€™m on my laptop and I donā€™t know how to get to the emoji keyboard.
Ryoma HoshiĀ - I genuinely donā€™t have anything to say about Ryoma. Heā€™s my halfway point because I donā€™t have anything particularly for him and I donā€™t have anything particularly against him, either. Go off, funky little cat man.
Kaito MomotaĀ - He got on my nerves in chapter 4, but he was a genuinely sweet character that I really enjoyed talking to. Any time he would talk about the stars, I would swoon because heā€™s just such a natural romantic. Not really my type, though. Very average.
MonophanieĀ - Legally you canā€™t ask me why the monokubs are where they are. Sheā€™s voiced by Natalie Hoover (Sonia) and I guess thatā€™s my only reasoning.
MonotaroĀ - I really just liked his interactions with K1-B0 in chapter 4. Other than that, I greatly disliked his and Monophanieā€™s presence in Gontaā€™s execution. 0/10 worst use for monokubs.
MonodamĀ - A nice, non-distracting addition to Korekiyoā€™s execution. But he had so much potential and just threw it all away. Apparently Iā€™m a basketball dad from a high school movie now.
I remember you
Angie YonagaĀ - Many times, Iā€™ve found myself asking who I ship from the series and this love triangle comes to mind. Of Angie, Himiko, and Tenko... I only really like Tenko. I donā€™t hate Angieā€™s cult stuff as much as everyone else seems to, but she didnā€™t have nearly enough of a presence for me to latch onto outside of the cult stuff, which was funny, I will admit.
Maki HarukawaĀ - I was so excited the whole game for her to get cool. I knew she was going to get cool, I just didnā€™t know when or how. But then, it was chapter 5 already and she hadnā€™t gotten cool in my eyes yet. I was really meh on her by that chapter anyway, but her being annoying really knocked her down a few pegs. She got a couple extra points for surprising me during the case, but not enough to bump her up any spots.
Himiko YumenoĀ - I was rooting for her to be crushed under the rock at the end. She was fine before chapter 3, but then they tried to develop her with the Akane treatment and it didnā€™t work for me at all. She just got on my nerves during the third trial and continued to contribute nothing throughout the rest of the game. During chapter 5 and 6, itā€™s like the writers just completely forgot that she was there. This wouldā€™ve been fine if they werenā€™t the last couple of chapters and she was one of about 6 people left alive. She had a role to play and didnā€™t play it in the slightest. The most she was utilized after chapter 3 was as Miuā€™s replacement post-chapter 5. Someone needed to fill the dirty jokes quota and I guess Himiko was chosen. #GiveTenkoABetterLoveInterest2021
MonosukeĀ - The only thing I remember him doing throughout the entire game was distract me from Kirumiā€™s exectuion. Not a fan.
You are the worst. Literal scum. Leave this planet and never return
Korekiyo Shinguji - Okay, listen. Heā€™s not that bad. His design is actually one of the best, in my opinion and I love his dedication to his craft. However, he just creeps me out whenever heā€™s on screen and Iā€™d prefer not to be around him. Itā€™s not even the sister thing, I honestly think thatā€™s funny and a nice change of pace, but his overall demeanor is creepy. Not to mention heā€™s played by Todd Haberkorn and heā€™s been in one too many roles recently. Hopefully Iā€™ll get over it, but as for now, that loses him points.
Tsumugi ShiroganeĀ - I know, not exactly an unpopular opinion. Sheā€™s just annoying and downright pisses me off a lot of the time with herĀ ā€œplainā€ shtick. I already knew she was going to be the mastermind, so most of the game was just me waiting for her to reveal it. I swear, I almost couldnā€™t take it every time she said something like,Ā ā€œWhat if there isnā€™t a mastermind?ā€Ā ā€œWhat?? Thereā€™s a mastermind????ā€ Just stfu Tsumugi. You all are lucky I donā€™t have the energy to talk about 3-6 right now.
MonokidĀ - Hate the tongue sprite, thatā€™s literally the only reason heā€™s down here. Heā€™s also kind of annoying, but made the best addition to an execution out of all of the monokubs. His death was one of the few things that surprised me in this game and it was a welcome twist. I was sick of him by this point, but was still incredibly shocked when he was pushed into the execution. Then, his severed head rolls out to all of the students looking on in shock at Kaedeā€™s death. Masterful. Still hate the tongue sprite.
There we go. Definitely my least favorite cast out of the whole series, but itā€™s still fun to love on and hate on a lot of the characters, as per usual. There are just a few too many in the middle tier (metaphorically speaking) that are either uninteresting or just donā€™t get their time to shine. Maybe theyā€™ll eventually grow on me more, but I doubt it.

Spoilers for DR1, obviously. I decided to remake this list because my opinions on all of the characters have changed significantly since the last time. Iā€™m honestly not even super happy about this one.
I see no god up here other than me:
Kiyotaka Ishimaru - Oh my lord, heā€™s perfect in every way (except for the thing, which Iā€™ll get to). Heā€™s funny, he doesnā€™t feel entirely insignificant, and heā€™s got a cool, sad backstory to dive into if you like him enough, but it isnā€™t required to do so throughout the main game. Everything about his genius/hard-working motif is brilliant. I think itā€™s incredible how heā€™s actually the opposing force to Komaeda rather than Junko, even though no one talks about it and the game doesnā€™t really use it that much. His whole backstory with his grandfather and father is so sad and Iā€™m so proud of him for getting to be where he is today, even if it didnā€™t quite happen how he wanted it to. The one exception to this practically perfect prefect is, of course, the elephant in the room, Kiyondo Ishida. Hereā€™s the thing: I think Kiyondo couldā€™ve worked really well. However, as far as I know, Taka was swapped out last minute with Hiro and had to die in chapter 3. I honestly think this was the worst decision the franchise made after making Mikan... the way that she was. The only reason people hate Hiro is that he survived the first game. Iā€™ll get to this more later, but I honestly really enjoyed his character for the first three chapters. After that, though, he got a little stale and even a bit annoying, especially the Kyoko being a ghost bit. I feel like Hiro really overstayed his welcome and his presence couldā€™ve been more than made up for by the comedic duo of Hina and Taka. I understand that choosing the survivors of each game is difficult and a very meticulous process, but letā€™s just consider the interactions with other characters for now. To start with, Hiro hardly had any positive interactions with any of the other characters in the back half of the game outside of Hina calling him out for being an idiot. If we put Taka in his place, he couldā€™ve had serious moments with Kyoko and Makoto, helping them to solve some of the mysteries. He also couldā€™ve played off of Byakuya and Tokoā€™s relationship in telling them that PDA isĀ ā€œnot welcome in a school environment.ā€ And the crowning jewel of missed opportunities, his interactions with Hina. Theyā€™ve both lost their best friends in the whole world and have no one to rely on. In canon, Hina had to do a character 180 just to keep up with Hiroā€™s idiocy and not break down about losing Sakura. However, if we had Taka, he couldā€™ve helped her to get through it because he wouldā€™ve already gotten over Mondo with the help of Ishida. See? I brought it back around. If Taka had been able to resolve his issues with Ishida in chapter 3, he wouldā€™ve been able to help Hina to develop her character through the loss of Sakura in chapter 4. I think this wouldā€™ve been so much better for both of their characters and I weep for what couldā€™ve been. But for some reason, Hiro just had to stick around.
Mondo Owada - Iā€™m honestly surprised I talked about Taka for that long without mentioning Mondo. I donā€™t actually have a lot to say about Mondo that I wonā€™t get to with Chihiro, but this is basically your warning to be ready for another rant and it also serves as a break from the last one. Mondo and Taka are perfect for each other, Mondo is the most sympathetic killer, bar none, and even though Iā€™m not a huge fan of dogs, Chuck is so precious.
Youā€™re the best:
Celestia Ludenberg - Pretty goth lady. Thatā€™s about it. She couldā€™ve been better in chapter 3, but I honestly still really liked her plan and her breakdown was phenomenal. My favorite thing about her though is her execution. Her execution fits into the thin category of executions that include the element of specific despair, basically meaning that Monokuma made it specifically to make her sad apart from the fact that she was dying. She was ready and honestly excited to be burned at the stake because it would guarantee her an interesting death and therefore an interesting life. But then, she ends up just dying in another boring old car accident, many of which happen every day. Itā€™s fun to watch her expression and demeanor change throughout her execution, itā€™s one of my favorites.
Chihiro Fujisaki - Oh boy, itā€™s the one I expect to get hate for. Buckle up, lovely people, itā€™s time to get personal. I personally headcanon Chihiro to be a cisgender male; however, I also believe that you can headcanon anyone to be anything you want. There is an exception and itā€™s when that headcanon specifically derails something the character was trying to present. In this case, itā€™s toxic masculinity and the importance of appearances in society. Iā€™ll preface this whole section with a statement: Iā€™m not trying to be transphobic. I could see Chihiro being a trans male, but cis or trans female just feels counterproductive to me. Let me explain. Chihiroā€™s entire existence is used to parallel Mondoā€™s. Chihiro has a strong will with a weak body, while Mondo has a strong body with a weak will. Mondo is seen, in canon, as a super manly character who is strong in both heart and body, but he doesnā€™t believe himself to be this way. The only strength heā€™s ever seen is through aggressive violence, and thatā€™s how he shows his strength. This is proven in the fact that when he felt weak against Chihiroā€™s strong will, he killed him out of fear, which he had grown to believe was strength. However, since Chihiro had a weak body, people treated him as unmanly, even though he was strong-willed, so he believed that everything about him was weak and learned to be submissive to everyone elseā€™s desires. This is proven in the fact that he dressed and acted the way he did specifically to please others, not himself. Itā€™s shown in multiple free time events that he hates the way that he looks and that he hates dressing to appease other people. Itā€™s not even necessary to turn to the FTEs to gain this information, itā€™s obvious from the fact that he goes to Mondo specifically to get stronger in what he thinks is both mind and body, as heā€™s been known to think that the two are connected. It can also be understood from his dialogue that he wasnā€™t trying to get physically stronger for himself, he was perfectly comfortable with his body, he wanted to get physically stronger so that other people would leave him alone. These are the effects that bullying had on him. Maybe Iā€™m misunderstanding, but whenever I see Chihiro as female, trans or otherwise, it feels as though those people want Chihiro to subject to the bullying because it more closely fits their ideal. It just feels like evidence of toxic masculinity because since Chihiro is feminine, he must be female, even if he says otherwise. The difference to me between this and say, trans Gundham headcanons is that with Gundham, thereā€™s nothing in his character that goes either way, so itā€™s fine to headcanon him however you want. But when Chihiro explicitly states that he wants to be seen as male, heā€™s ignored and pushed aside asĀ ā€œanother missed opportunity for trans representation.ā€ But heā€™s not a missed opportunity for representation, heā€™s just representing something else, toxic masculinity. Itā€™s obvious that it goes over peopleā€™s heads because they donā€™t seem to understand this at all. Iā€™m not trying to be rude, I just want people to understand that just because the representation isnā€™t specifically for the group you want, doesnā€™t mean that it isnā€™t good representation. I can talk about this more if anyone wants me to, but itā€™s almost 1 AM and Iā€™m not sure how much longer and I can form cohesive sentences and Iā€™m not sure this is the best argument to test that on.
Genocide Jack - Idk, sheā€™s funny. Iā€™ve already gotten past most of the characters I have strong opinions on. Whereas in the second game, I have strong feelings about my favorites *and* my least favorites, I really only have favorites in this game and everyone else is pretty neutral.
Byakuya Togami - He was actually originally my second favorite character, but I realized a good way into the series that I didnā€™t actually like him that much. Heā€™s not as smart as he claims to be and he isnā€™t as well written as Komaeda or Kokichi. However, he does have one truly fantastic moment in the first game and that is during chapter 4. When itā€™s revealed that Sakura killed herself, he shuts down. Itā€™s impossible for something to have happened that he didnā€™t predict and he truly believes that. Itā€™s incredible to see his complete shift in character (at least for this trial) and I absolutely adore that moment. Everything else with him is still kinda meh.
Hey, I think youā€™re really cool, I like you a lot:
Sakura Ogami - Thereā€™s literally nothing about her that I can say that hasnā€™t been said already. Sheā€™s perfect and I love her for it.
Aoi Asahina - Like I said during my Taka rant, I think she wouldā€™ve been much better if she didnā€™t have to accommodate Hiro. The first game had a much darker tone than the second and Toko/Genocide Jack already had the comedic relief role covered. She and Taka couldā€™ve still had their fair share of funny moments together, but I feel like she couldā€™ve gone through Akaneā€™s arc during the second game, but better because she wouldā€™ve been able to build off of Taka, who already went through the same thing. Either way, sheā€™s cute and I adore her and Sakuraā€™s friendship.
Sayaka Maizono - So I actually made this list back in January (itā€™s currently the middle of April) and just never got around to making it and since then, Iā€™ve fallen in love with Sayaka. It may or may not have to do with me being cast as her in a secret project that Iā€™ll announce later, but she has my heart regardless. Now, Iā€™d probably put her behind Chihiro and ahead of Genocide Jack. Sheā€™s just such an interesting character and while itā€™s a shame that she died so early, I still think she wouldnā€™t have been as good if she didnā€™t die so soon. For the record, I think both Sayaka and Leon were morally in the wrong. However, Sayaka was doing it for her friends, while Leon couldā€™ve stopped at any time and really only went back for himself. Sayaka is not a snake. Thank you, goodnight.
Mukuro Ikusaba - Sheā€™s definitely my neutral point. I have one of these in every DR game, even if I donā€™t realize it. I just donā€™t really have any opinions on her and itā€™s not even because she wasnā€™t in the game for very long. I just donā€™t know how to feel about her. I just finished Danganronpa: Zero and that boosted Junko way up in my book, but it didnā€™t really change my opinion on Mukuro at all.
Kyoko Kirigiri - I get the hype, I really do, but I just canā€™t get into her. For starters, I donā€™t like Naegi all that much, so of course Iā€™m not going to like the people that hang around him all the time. The most Iā€™ve ever liked her is while watching videos of her along withĀ ā€œNot So Bad A Dadā€ from Phineas and Ferb. Other than that, sheā€™s extremely neutral for me.
Toko Fukawa - Iā€™m including her appearance in Ultra Despair Girls, but it didnā€™t really help her much. I liked her in the first game, but it was only because I was going through a weird phase of obsessing over people and now I just think itā€™s weird because it is. I went into Ultra Despair Girls knowing that she got character development and then completely forgot to pay attention to it because I was so enraptured by the Warriors of Hope. So, I donā€™t know, sheā€™s just kinda creepy and I didnā€™t really notice her (or Komaru, for that matter) in UDG.
I remember you:
Junko Enoshima - Like I mentioned during Mukuroā€™s segment, I just finished Danganronpa: Zero and it was a wild ride. I made this list before I had even started the book and I was mostly just confused by Junko. I didnā€™t understand her motivations or any of her plans, much less how she was able to achieve anything she was. But once I finished DR0, it all made sense. I wonā€™t spoil it here, but she was incredible in that book and I wish I had caught on to everything earlier.
Makoto Naegi - I feel bad, but I have to compare him to the other protagonists. Heā€™s just so boring, and I know that thatā€™s the point of a protagonist, but Hajime proves that it doesnā€™t have to be that way. Makotoā€™s just kinda there all of the time. For example, in DR0, he shows up for one scene, but he literally doesnā€™t even do anything. He stands there, talks to Ryoko, is scared during a fight scene, and is never seen again. Itā€™s really frustrating to know that heā€™s only there because he was the protagonist of the first game and itā€™s likeĀ ā€œWow, you know this character!ā€
Yasuhiro Hagakure - My only opinion on him is that he shouldā€™ve died in chapter 3. My only explanation for why he was so high on the original list is because I watched this one hysterical panel for DR1 and Hiro was by far the best character there. In the game itself, I liked him until he overstayed his welcome and cost Taka his shot to be memorable.
Leon Kuwata - I honestly canā€™t explain why I dislike him so much, I just really, genuinely do. Heā€™s just kind of annoying, but thatā€™s about it. Like I said before, I donā€™t really hate many of the characters from this game, theyā€™re mostly all loved or neutral and heā€™s just the most negative neutral.
You are literally the worst. Actual scum. Leave this planet and never return:
Monokuma - You know the drill by now if youā€™ve seen my other DR tier lists, itā€™s kind of an obligation at this point.
Hifumi Yamada - Why. Why is he like this? Why is he this way? Honestly, heā€™s not nearly as bad as Teruteru or Kazuichi in the perv department, but I just hate him so much. I donā€™t understand why he is the way that he is, but I do understand that Iā€™m happy he died in chapter 3. Honestly, I couldā€™ve done with him dying earlier, but it is what it is.
Itā€™s 1:15 AM and I am done writing. Iā€™ve been putting this off for months and I figured it was finally time to get it over with and it definitely didnā€™t have anything to do with the fact that I canā€™t sleep. I hope you enjoy all of this and if you would like me to elaborate on anything, just drop me an ask and let me know. Iā€™m always happy to explain any of my opinions and want to make sure Iā€™m as clear as possible. Please do not spread hate about me until youā€™ve made sure you understand my point. Then go to town.

Danganronpa Hunger Games
Hello, everyone! I just spent my whole Saturday making icons for a Danganronpa season on BrantSteele. I know that they already have all of the characters preloaded on there, but I wanted the regular pictures to be their illustrations.Ā
Most of the illustrations are transparent, but there are a few I couldnā€™t find. If anyone wants to send me the transparent images for those illustrations, I would be very grateful!
The other change I made was that I made all of the eliminated photos their deaths. Obviously, some characters didnā€™t have deaths, so I had to use what I could from the anime (both versions) and out-of-context CGs.
This season features all 48 students from the main three games and contains major spoilers for all three. I quickly checked through it and there shouldnā€™t be any issues with names, genders, or pictures, as far as me putting in the wrong thing, but if you find anything, donā€™t hesitate to let me know!
It can be accessed hereĀ or on the website using this code:Ā p21M06JZ
There are a few things that Iā€™m going to warn you about just in case theyā€™re upsetting and you want to change them
BrantSteele will no longer allow me to selectĀ ā€˜?ā€™ for the gender, so for Chihiro, Imposter, and K1-B0, I selected male.
Imposterā€™s nickname is Twogami
K1-B0ā€²s nickname is Keebo
Leonā€™s nickname is 11037
Makoto Naegiā€™s nickname is Naegi
Nagito Komaedaā€™s nickname is Nagito
And that should be it! Thank you for reading through all of this, I hope you have fun with this simulator! I canā€™t take credit for creating the simulator itself, but making this season took a lot more effort than it should have, trust me.

Spoiler Warning!!! - This review will contain spoilers for all of SDR2 and the first chapter of DRV3 as well as slight spoilers for DR1. Youā€™ve been warned.
I see no god up here other than me
Gundham Tanaka- His name is GUNDHam TaNAKA
Sonia Nevermind- This is my third time typing this rant. I literally donā€™t know why people hate her so much?? There are two main arguments that Iā€™ve come across. The first is that she is boring and shouldnā€™t have survived, but thatā€™s the same as Asahina and everyone seems to love her. (Donā€™t get me wrong, I also love her, but all she had were donuts and her relationship with Sakura) Sheā€™s just a cute girl with some occult-ish quirks and I donā€™t see why that has to be such a bad thing. The other, more prevalent, argument is that since sheā€™s at the center of the infamous love triangle, she must be the root of all its problems. Itā€™s really frustrating when people blame her for Kazuichiā€™s faults. Iā€™ll talk more about Kazuichi later, but his terrible qualities are a result of his own actions, and Sonia shouldnā€™t be blamed for being the object of his affections. Itā€™s honestly blaming the victim and Iā€™m sick of it. Obviously, she hasnā€™t treated him perfectly and I understand why people are frustrated with it. The only example of this, though, is in chapter four when she goes back-and-forth between treating him coldly and praising him when she shouldā€™ve just rejected him a long time ago. However, I think I can understand where sheā€™s coming from in this chapter. I think it was kind of a Shuichi/Kaede situation. She had already figured out that Gundham was the killer, but didnā€™t want to admit it to herself, and definitely didnā€™t want to tell everyone else even though he was more than ready to admit it. Therefore, she treated Kazuichi coldly whenever he was getting close to the truth (or treating her poorly) and praised him whenever he was leading the group in the wrong direction. I donā€™t have any evidence that these were the times she treated him this way, but thatā€™s how I remember it. Anyway, Kazuichi should stop being a creep, and apologists should stop rationalizing it. Her one slip-up in this case when she was panicked and worried for her closest friend does not make up for all of the other times Kazuichi treated her terribly.
Youā€™re the best
Fuyuhiko Kuzuryuu- Boss baby boss baby boss baby. Also, heā€™s a fantastically fleshed out character and his relationship with Peko makes me cry literally every time :)Ā  I just wish his character development had been a bit more stretched out, instead of on-the-spot like it was. I also kinda wish his sudden development had been a result of the despair disease, but you canā€™t have everything.
Nagito Komaeda- Recently, I havenā€™t been able to stop thinking about how SimpleFlips calls softlocking in SM64Ā ā€œgay baby jailā€ and Komaeda makes me think of that.
Chiaki Nanami- Iā€™m not quite as attached to her as everyone else seems to be, but I totally see the appeal. Cute girl, cute backpack, andĀ plot-relevant??? Incredible.
Ibuki Mioda- Sheā€™s just so fun. I donā€™t typically like characters who are loud for the sake of being loud, but I canā€™t help but love her. This was the first game I fully voice-acted for fun (the girls, at least) and Ibuki was definitely one of my favorites. It just feels good to yell sometimes, you know?
Hey, I think youā€™re pretty cool, I like you a lot
Peko Pekoyama- Iā€™m a simple woman. I think of chapter two, I cry. At least, the epilogue of that case. I wasnā€™t the biggest fan of Twilight Syndrome Murder Case and I definitely didnā€™t like the, albeit fake, serial killer twist. It didnā€™t feel natural and just felt bad. Loved hearing Sonia sayĀ ā€œSparkling Justice!ā€, though.
Hiyoko Saionji- I totally understand why people hate her. I get it, I do. But I just canā€™t bring myself to hate her. Sheā€™s obviously not a good person, but I have shit taste. Byakuya and Kokichi arenā€™t good people, but everyone loves them anyway. I just think sheā€™s so funny and terrible, I canā€™t help but get attached. Iā€™m not usually the type to like little sister characters, or even bullies, but sheā€™s just such a perfect combination of the two that I canā€™t help but love her. I also obviously am not the biggest fan of Mikan (Iā€™ll explain, I swear) so the bullying didnā€™t really affect me too much.
Hajime Hinata- Heā€™s the protagonist. I donā€™t really know what to tell you. I used to believe in Hajime supremacy, but Iā€™m starting to understand the Shuichi supremacy now, so idk, Hajime might end up lower after I finish V3.
Byakuya Togami/Ultimate Imposter- Heā€™s just such a good guy. I know that the real Byakuya is an ass, but the imposter is so nice and supportive. I canā€™t even take him seriously as Byakuya anymore because of how supportive he is. The real Byakuya could never. I just finished his last free-time event and he really feels like his own person now, which I can imagine is all heā€™s ever wanted. He isnā€™t Byakuya to me anymore, heā€™s himself. I just donā€™t have a unique name to call him by.
I remember you
Mahiru Koizumi- Her photography thing was cute, I liked it a lot. I donā€™t know the basic stance people take on her crush on Hajime, but I thought it was really cute and believable. I donā€™t know if I ship it, but I can see it in canon. It makes sense and works well.
Akane Owari- Sheā€™s a jock. I feel pretty neutral about jocks unless they have another prevalent thing that fits my interests.
Nekomaru Nidai- Again, a jock. Iā€™m just not the biggest fan. I know that his backstory makes up for a lot of his inherent jock boringness, but I just canā€™t get into him as much as some other people can. I definitely see the appeal, though.
Usami/Monomi- Sheā€™s a mascot. Cool. Honestly preferred Monophanie.
You are literally the worst. Actual scum. Leave this planet and never return
Mikan Tsumiki- I told you Iā€™d explain. First, I need to explain some personal reasons I didnā€™t like her, rather than objective characteristics. Like I mentioned with Ibuki, I voice-acted the whole game with each of the girls. Never before has a voice physically affected me as much as Mikanā€™s. In order to make her voice so high and quiet, I have to close my throat and tighten my jaw. It makes my throat, jaw, and head hurt all at the same time and it feels awful. The only time this wasnā€™t the case was during her breakdown and thatā€™s because I couldnā€™t make her say those things with that voice, it didnā€™t make sense. Which brings me to my next point: her breakdown. I didnā€™t like it. At all. It wasnā€™t interesting and it didnā€™t make sense. I know that everyone else was sad because she was bullied a bunch and began to romanticize it, and yeah, I feel bad, but it wasnā€™t enough to make me like her. Her breakdown made a little more sense after watching the anime, believe it or not, but it was still not great. She couldā€™ve been easily redeemed for me if she had a different motive for killing Hiyoko. I donā€™t really have an opinion on whether or not Ibuki shouldā€™ve lived longer, or even survived, but I definitely agree with Hiyoko dying during the third case, I just wish the motive had been different. It wouldā€™ve been so powerful if Mikanā€™s despair disease had made her remember her past with the bullying, and then she realized how much she hated it. She started to notice how Hiyoko was treating her and finally snaps. She kills Hiyoko in cold blood on purpose, instead of on accident, and covers it up in a more reasonable way instead the literal impossibility that we actually got. Then, in her breakdown, instead of pleading for forgiveness, she tries to rationalize her actions and convince everyone else that she was in the right by killing her. It wouldā€™ve been much more interesting and wouldā€™ve made much more sense. I also wish she had made use of Ibukiā€™s despair disease (which made her gullible) and commanded her to hang herself instead of staging the other thing, because it was a lot of extra work that was really unnecessary and it wouldā€™ve made more use of the despair disease other than a plot contrivance for Junkoā€™s entrance. This kind of turned into my review for the third chapter, but still. Killers are always more fleshed out in their respective chapters, so their existence is often pretty much tied to the events of that chapter, since everything typically revolves around them. I might as well add here that her execution was really basic and underwhelming, but as far as Iā€™ve seen, Iā€™m not alone in that opinion.
Monokuma- Itā€™s kind of an ironic hate with Monokuma. Sure, he makes me laugh, but heā€™s also fuel for the killing game, so... I donā€™t know. He pisses me off sometimes, but heā€™s also pretty funny at other times.
Kazuichi Souda- This is basically a continuation of the Sonia rant, so here we go. I would like to preface this by saying that in the context of Kazuichiā€™s free-time events, heā€™s one of my favorite characters. However, in the main story, I placed him here. I would normally average out my opinions of his different forms, but his optional events donā€™t make up for his actions that are required to be experienced. While some of his quips toward Sonia made me laugh, they still made me uncomfortable to some extent. Itā€™s honestly frustrating to see him try so hard when she obviously isnā€™t interested in him. Some people choose to see this as an underdog story, but I think itā€™s just annoying and low-key creepy. Heā€™s constantly fetishizing Sonia and keeps making moves on her even after she treats him coldly. He isnā€™t brave or cool for doing this, like the media would like you to believe, heā€™s creepy and persistent, and not in a good way. While I do agree that Sonia shouldā€™ve just turned him down from the very beginning, I still donā€™t put all of that blame on her. Iā€™m sure sheā€™s had her fair share of creepy guys making advances on her and sheā€™s just had to take it, since sheā€™s a princess and it would hurt her noble reputation. Kazuichi should also be able to think for himself and see that sheā€™s not interested. It shouldnā€™t be completely up to her to get him to stop. He should be able to take a hint and back off, whether she tells him directly or otherwise. She definitely hints to him that sheā€™s not interested in some of the later chapters, but he completely ignores it and keeps trying anyway. I wouldnā€™t have such a problem with him if he didnā€™t represent a very real issue that we are facing in the world today. Nice guys will, unfortunately, always be plaguing our society and it doesnā€™t look like theyā€™re getting any better. It doesnā€™t help that the media continually raises them up and convinces them that they are in the right, even though they definitely arenā€™t. No man is entitled to any woman and people need to stop sympathizing with men who are rejected and keep pushing. In almost every post Iā€™ve seen from Kazuichi apologists, they explain that Sonia shouldā€™ve given him a chance. Really? She did give him a chance. She gave him several chances, in fact, more than she was entitled to. The first time she acted coldly towards him was at the end of chapter 4. Thatā€™s four entire chapters, plus a prologue, of chances that she gave him. She was always polite and talked to him when he approached her. Maybe she saw this as her noble duty, but either way, she didnā€™t reject him outright the first time she saw him. She tried to be friends, he was creepy, and then she started to hint that she wasnā€™t interested. This is a natural progression for her character and is in no way wrong of her. He is not entitled to her attention and should learn to back off when heā€™s not wanted. The other big reason I see that people donā€™t like Sonia is because she basically ruined any chance of Kazuichi and Gundham having any sort of relationship other than rivals. Again, itā€™s not Soniaā€™s fault that they both liked her. Itā€™s also not her fault for choosing Gundham over Kazuichi, since he treated her respectfully and they also shared interests. She also didnā€™t need a specific reason to choose Gundham over Kazuichi, because she is free to make her own choices based on anything she wants, including nothing. Even though I said all of this, I do actually wish that Gundham and Kazuichi couldā€™ve had some kind of relationship. I think it couldā€™ve been very interesting, but it didnā€™t need to be devoid of Sonia. I think it wouldā€™ve been just as interesting for Gundham and Kazuichi to talk with Sonia as it wouldā€™ve been for her to introduce them to each other more formally and get them to become friends. I think it couldā€™ve been fun for Kazuichi to have a little playful resentment towards Gundham for getting the girl, but instead, he went completely off the deep end. If he had just backed off like I suggested earlier, maybe they couldā€™ve had that relationship that everyone longed for. I am also obligated to say here that I think all of his free-time events were absolutely adorable and the fact that he gets motion sickness is the single best piece of comedy every written.
Teruteru Hanamura- Iā€™ve been doing a lot of rants and Iā€™m kind of tired of it. You know why I donā€™t like him, I donā€™t need to explain it. Heā€™s shitty, blah blah blah. His tiny bit of plot with his mother didnā€™t really do anything to redeem him for me and I just plain donā€™t like him. Sorry, not sorry.
Wow, this took way too long. I forgot I had so many opinions on these characters. I wouldā€™ve said a lot more about Gundham, but itā€™s kind of my thing here to say more about my second favorite characters and characters that I donā€™t like than my favorite characters, and I knew there were going to be several rants, so I decided to keep his very short. My definitive favorites list is Gundham and then Sonia, with a pending Fuyuhiko in third. The four dark devas are the best characters and Iā€™m so upset they werenā€™t on here. I would apologize for my Kazuichi rant, since it had two parts, both of which were very long, but it all needed to be said because Iā€™m sick and tired of Kazuichi apologists. They keep coming across my dash and I would like to be rid of them. If you like Kazuichi, thatā€™s fine, I actually quite like him, too, you just need to acknowledge his faults instead of just rationalizing them in a bad way. If someone wants to send me reasons why Sonia is terrible, Iā€™ll listen, because Iā€™m sure Iā€™m probably being a bit of a Sonia apologist, although I feel like her actions were a lot less impactful. Sondam supremacy, thank you, goodnight.

I see no god up here other than me
Ty Lee- Ty Lee is best girl and I find it hard to argue with that statement. Sheā€™s just so bouncy and cute and honestly really powerful for not being a bender. I mean, the ability to paralyze someone on contact, much less being able to pinpoint specific parts of the body to paralyze, itā€™s just incredible. She was so cute in that beach episode because all the guys hit on her, which of course they do, have you seen how cute she is? Iā€™m not super on board with her backstory, but it wasnā€™t a huge part of her character, so itā€™s fine.
Sokka- The man, the myth, the legend. Itā€™s been said before, but the only reason Sokka couldnā€™t bend is because the creators knew heā€™d be too powerful. Thatā€™s the same reason he has to put his hair up. Also, heā€™s totally bi, change my mind.
Jet- I have several friends that watch this show and that watched the show before me. They all knew that Iā€™d like Jet because heā€™s a ā€œbackstabbing traitorā€ despite their hatred of him and I guess I have a trend of liking those characters. I jokingly agreed with them and was excited to meet him. Little did I know just how much I would fall in love with him. A lot of my friends say that itā€™s just because heā€™s cute or heā€™s a sad boy, but there are honestly so many reasons to love him. I absolutely adore psychology and deep-diving into the minds of characters and his mentality is so intriguing. You would think this would lean me more towards Zuko, then. But Zuko gets so much focus that his psychology is always precedent, right front and center. But Jet doesnā€™t get that spotlight. I originally liked him more because he was under-appreciated, but now I realize just how amazing he is. At a very surface level, his actions are bad. Heā€™s trying to murder innocent people for the sake of getting rid of a few fire nation soldiers. But as soon as you look deeper into his intentions, you can clearly see how badly he wanted to do good. These types of characters are always the saddest, the characters who think they are helping the world by destroying it. They legitimately think that the actions they are taking are the right ones even when everyone around them thinks otherwise. Other examples of this type of character are JD from Heathers and even Hector from Castlevania to some extent. Yes, he acknowledges that he will be sacrificing innocent lives. But he also knows that he will be saving lives in the future by going through with the dam plan. Thereā€™s so much more I could say about him, but Iā€™ve been rambling for long enough.
Zuko- Thereā€™s nothing I could say about Zuko that hasnā€™t been said before. I already gushed about Jet for entirely too long, so have this instead: Sokka and Zuko have a wonderful relationship and I think that both parties could have benefitted greatly from being together romantically. Thank you.
Youā€™re the best
Iroh- What can I say? Heā€™s a good old man with lots of wisdom that we should all take to heart.
Momo- Some of my favorite parts of the entire show were scenes with Sokka and Momo just vibing. There shouldā€™ve been more emphasis on Sokkaā€™s relationship with the animals in general.
Appa- I was really excited when Sokka started flying on Appa without Aang the first time, because I thought that meant that Sokka had created a really unique bond with Appa and was the only other one that could fly him. I was mistaken and incredibly upset.
Teo- Heā€™s just a cute boy. I like his goggles.
Hey, I think youā€™re pretty cool, I like you a lot
Azula- Oh boy. Thereā€™s so much here to say, but sheā€™s been analyzed to death, so I wonā€™t go on for too long. As much as I wouldā€™ve loved to see Azula on the ā€œgood guyā€ team, Iā€™m really glad she didnā€™t get a redemption. Not her, specifically, but more the villains in general. Zukoā€™s redemption was marvelous and thereā€™s nothing that will ever top it, but if Azula had also gotten that redemption, his wouldā€™ve been downcast. It wouldā€™ve showed that anyoneā€™s capable of a redemption and that he wasnā€™t special, he was just lucky to have that change of heart. Which maybe thatā€™s still true, but at least with the ending we got, we give Zuko that spotlight. But back to Azula, sheā€™s pretty cool, as the category would suggest. The Girl Gang (Azula, Mai, and Ty Lee) were a treat to watch and I instantly fell in love with all three of them as soon as they were introduced. Then they had to change to the Gayng once Zuko joined and I still loved all of them.
Longshot- It was super powerful when he spoke for the first time in Jetā€™s ā€œdeathā€ scene. That was the first time he had said anything and he made it count. He helped show how even thought Jet is a ā€œbad guyā€ at the surface level, he was still good enough of a leader and a friend for his group to stay with him in his ultimate time of need.
Suki- Sheā€™s badass. Thatā€™s about it. All parts of The Boiling Rock were my favorite episodes and they featured her pretty heavily in the back half. And I was not complaining.
Toph- Again, badass.
Aang- Heā€™s the main character. I donā€™t have any super negative things to say or any super positive things to say. So heā€™s just here.
Kuei- I know he doesnā€™t do anything, like at all, but I canā€™t get over him and his bear.
Yue- When I started watching this show, I knew about some of the ships and I wasnā€™t super into it. Which was weird, because Iā€™m always super into shipping. I wouldnā€™t have watched some of my favorite shows if it werenā€™t for the shipping aspect. But I just couldnā€™t get on board with it in this show. Aang and Katara felt kinda forced and weird, Sokka and Suki was alright, but I couldnā€™t quite get into it. But when I first saw Sokka and Yue interacting, I was enthralled. I was in love with their relationship and I thought it was so cute. I was genuinely excited to see where their relationship would go. But you know what happened next.
Mai- When I first met Mai, I loved her. She was an emo girl that just didnā€™t want anything to do with anything. Obviously, I still love her, but just slightly less. Something happened to her in the third season, and though I canā€™t pinpoint quite what, I have a feeling it was Zuko. Iā€™m not a huge fan of Mai and Zukoā€™s relationship and Iā€™ll possibly elaborate on that in a future post, but it really felt like the worst possible scenario for both of their characters. I do like Mai and Ty Lee together, but the shipping doesnā€™t really have anything major to do with it. She just dropped in quality a little in the third season and became a love interest instead of a character.
Kyoshi- Peace was never an option.
I remember you
Cabbage guy- This is normally the type of character Iā€™d put at the top of the list and use as a joke to pretend like I especially enjoy the joke characters. Sometimes I do, but this listā€™s tone was a little different than usual, so I figured Iā€™d put him where I really thought he should go. He was funny, sure, but I donā€™t religiously follow him like I do Ty Lee and everyone else in the top tier.
The other characters in this tier are in no particular order. Most of them are here just because I remember seeing them a little bit, but I donā€™t really remember much about them or I remember just not caring.
You are literally the worst. Actual scum. Leave this planet and never return.
Haru- This is more directed towards his newly-grown facial hair. He was so cute in his first appearance and then he had to do that. Even Sokkaā€™s ā€œI flirt with everyoneā€ bisexual ass thought it was grody.
Hama- Nothing against her, personally, bloodbendingā€™s just gross.
Zhao- Heā€™s a typical villain. I can appreciate that, I just donā€™t like him.
Katara- This will take some explaining. Itā€™s unpopular, but so is everything I say. I think of Katara in about the same way I do Allura. She was bearable in the first season, annoying in the second, and flat-out awful in the third. I understand that characters should have flaws, and I appreciate when they do, but her flaws arenā€™t necessarily treated as such. The worst offender I can think of with her is when she accused Sokka of not missing their mom as much as she did. This broke my heart. Seeing Sokkaā€™s depressed face as he realized what his sister thought of him. He had been seeing her as sort of a replacement for their mom, but she accuses him of moving on without a second thought despite how much effort he puts into remembering her. This obviously isnā€™t the only bad thing sheā€™s done. Another huge offender is when she assumed losing her mom was worse than Aang losing his entire nation. And then the show just keeps moving like sheā€™s justified in thinking that. Sheā€™s done so many other things that caused other characters to halt in their development or causing the plot to just stop completely. Most of her actions are nonsensical at best and harmful at worst, but the show portrays her as always being a caring motherly figure. She does act like that at times, but we still need to acknowledge when she doesnā€™t.
Ozai- Literally the same as Zhao except he hurt Zuko physically AND emotionally.

I see no god up here other than me
Nishinoya- My favorite character. My guy. The rolling thunder. The absolute madlad. I just love him, what else can I say? I was supposed to make it to his canon height (5ā€²2), but I never even made it there, so I am officially shorter than Nishinoya Yu.
Tadashi- Heā€™s so cute. Heā€™s going to be the next team mom after Suga leaves and I absolutely cannot wait. Heā€™s just so adorable and I love his freckles.
Suga- Team mom, what else can I say? I can relate.
Oikawa- Mmm, heā€™s cute and not in the same was as Tadashi. I know itā€™s typical, but itā€™s also accurate. If you donā€™t think Oikawaā€™s a stud, then youā€™re wrong. Also, his intimidation talk is so attractive.
Kenma- :3
Akaashi- His dynamic with Bokuto is hilarious. I absolutely adore their relationship. I just canā€™t resist laughing everytime Akaashi essentially says,Ā ā€œGo home, Bokuto, youā€™re drunk.ā€
Youā€™re the best
Bokuto- Fun story: I saw that season three was going to be dubbed (yes, I watch the dub, fight me) and I got super excited and immediately looked to see who Bokutoā€™s voice actor was going to be. When I saw that it was Ian Sinclair, I got really excited and screamed. However, Iā€™m really dumb, because Bokuto was in season 2, and I just didnā€™t notice his voice. Way to go, me.
Iwa-chan- Shittykawa. Assikawa. Trashykawa.
Akiteru- I named the main character in my story after him. Plus, heā€™s pretty cute.
Lev- Tol bean.
Saeko- Sheā€™s so great and such a good big sister. However, I would not like to be in a car with her.
Hey, I think youā€™re pretty cool, I like you a lot
Tendo- Heā€™s funny sometimes, I guess.
Aone- Shouyo Hinata protection squad, Kageyama move over.
Takeda- He taught me everything I know about volleyball.
Yachi- Aww, what a cutie.
Kiyoko- Calm and collected. And super hot.
Hinata- Heā€™s the main character. Yep. Thatā€™s it.
Ukai- Sorry, sensei, you didnā€™t stick out to me all that much.
Kageyama- Nic, niff, nife, knife, nnnice.
I remember you
Dadchi- Very dad. Very stern.
Tsukki- Cute around Tadashi, just a tsundere around everyone else.
Asahi- Scaredy-cat tough guy.
Kuroo- Very cat dad. Very cat stern.
Ennoshita- Yeah. He existed.
Tanaka- Very loud. Could do without.
Ushijima- You shouldā€™ve come to Shiratorizawa.
Futakuchi- I literally remembered he existed today since his birthday was yesterday.
Then thereā€™s that one guy that I donā€™t remember. I know who he is, but barely, and I donā€™t know like, anything about him, so Iā€™m choosing to ignore his existence.
Final favorite characters list:
1. Nishinoya Yuu
2. Tadashi Yamaguchi
3. Sugwara Koushi
4. Oikawa Tooru and Morisuke Yaku
5. Kenma Kozume and Akaashi Keiji

My Hero Academia Ships Tier List (Iā€™m pretty sure thereā€™s a line missing fromĀ ā€œLiterally never even crossed my mind,ā€ but itā€™s basically the same as every other line)
OTP
Mineta x Eternal loneliness and suffering - This is my Ultimate OTP. It just makes me so happy seeing Mineta get everything he deserves, and I really think this pairing develops his character so well.
Todoroki x Midoriya - I really love this ship because I feel like itā€™s just so pure and both of them are getting exactly what they deserve in a partner. Todoroki gets someone that can comfort and reassure him through all of his doubts (i.e.Ā ā€œItā€™s your power Todorokiā€). Midoriya gets someone that can care for him and doesnā€™t abuse him (*cough cough* Bakugo *cough cough*).
Kirishima x Bakugo - I love this ship because it develops both Kirishima and Bakugoā€™s characters so well, even without the romantic aspect. Kirishima is the only one with the ability to calm Bakugo down, which he really needs, and Bakugoā€™s becoming friendlier with the help of Kirishima. At the same time, Bakugo is helping Kirishima with his insecurities, something he also really needs.
Has a large Pinterest section
Mirio x Tamaki - This ship is just so pure, especially with the spoilers Iā€™m not supposed to know about and donā€™t want to talk about. I think they have a great dynamic, but fanartā€™s a bit awkward because of how Mirioā€™s face is styled.
Ojiro x Hagakure - I think this is one of the least debated ships in the fandom. As far as I know, there hasnā€™t been any negative opinions about it, since itā€™s not too big of a ship and neither of them really has anyone else they can be shipped with as much.
Kaminari x Jirou - I know this oneā€™s controversial, because of Jirou x Momo, but I absolutely love the dynamic between these two. I like how Jirou makes fun of Kaminari, but theyā€™re able to laugh about it afterwards. I just think itā€™s cute, and thatā€™s that.
Thinking about making a Pinterest section
All Might (Toshinori) x Inko - You canā€™t hate on this ship, itā€™s just too cute. I like to imagine that Toshinori gets even more flustered than Inko does, and then Midoriyaā€™s just embarrassed. I especially like this ship, because it means that All Might is really Midoriyaā€™s dad.
Aizawa x Ms. Joke - I know there are several ships with Aizawa in them and Ms. Joke is far from the most popular, but I really like their dynamic. I always fall for the stoic indifferent, character with the light, bubbly one, and thatā€™s exactly what this ship is. Not to mention Ms. Joke canonly likes Aizawa, so thereā€™s that.
Still debating
Iida x Uraraka - This was one of my main ships when I first entered the fandom. I thought their characters fit well together, and they made for a cute pairing. But then, there was a scene in season 3 with Iida and Aoyama that made me question everything. I still like this ship, but Iā€™m not a multishipper, so Iā€™m still deciding on which one to ship. Speaking of Iida and Aoyama, that wasnā€™t on this list and I was very surprised. Also, neither were Tensei and Fuyumi, which I actually really enjoy.
Tokoyami x Tsuyu - This ship is really popular, but I just donā€™t see it. It doesnā€™t really help that I donā€™t really pay attention to either of these characters that much anyway, inside or out of the show. I guess Iā€™m open to this ship, but I havenā€™t had many experiences with it, so it hasnā€™t really stuck with me.
Present Mic x Aizawa - This is another pretty popular ship, and I guess I kind of like it, because they were friends as kids, and theyā€™re still friends now. However, like I mentioned earlier, Iā€™m not a multishipper, and have to choose, so as of right now, Iā€™ve chosen Ms. Joke over Present Mic, but that is always subject to change.
Tetsutetsu x Kendo - I guess I kind of like this ship, but only because of the fact that I know it exists. I havenā€™t seen anything for it, I just know that it is a thing, but itā€™s not that popular, since Kendo isnā€™t really talked about much as a character. Honestly, Iā€™m just glad there isnā€™t too much debate about Tetsutetsu and Kirishima, because thatā€™s just wrong.
Endeavor x Hawks - Since I only watch the anime, I have absolutely no idea who Hawks is. All I know about him is that heā€™s shipped with Endeavor a lot, so of course, Iā€™ve debated it. Since I donā€™t have much context for this ship, Iā€™m not sure what to think about it quite yet.
Endeavor x Eternal loneliness and suffering - The only thing keeping this from being in the OTP tier is Hawks existence. If I hadnā€™t considered Endeavor with Hawks, this would absolutely be in the OTP tier.
I guess Iā€™ve thought about it briefly (Doesnā€™t mean I liked it, though)
Iā€™m skipping over this section because every explanation would be some iteration of,Ā ā€œIā€™ve acknowledged itā€™s existence and nothing more.ā€ And I donā€™t need to come up with 13 different ways to say that.
Literally never even crossed my mind
Iā€™m also skipping over this section because for all of them, the first time Iā€™d ever seen or heard of these was making this list. They mean nothing to me, positive or negative, they apparently exist, and I canā€™t be bothered enough to talk about them since most of make literally no sense.
NOTP. Leave. Get out of here with that shit. Nobody wants you here.
Endeavor x Rei - This ship is in this tier, not because I hate it, but out of respect for Rei. She was abused and forced to bear children not for the reason of loving them, but for the purpose of using them as weapons and making them stronger. She was basically forced into breeding. Not so fun fact: Outside of Reiā€™s door in the mental hospital, her sign saysĀ ā€œMrs. Todoroki.ā€ If that isnā€™t the cruelest thing Iā€™ve ever seen, I donā€™t know what is. She was forced into breeding to get a strong kid, abused for actually liking her own children, forced herself into hurting said child, taken to a mental hospital by her abuser, and for an extra slap in the face, labelled as his wife, and not as her own person. Isnā€™t that just terrible? Anyways, PSA over, I feel bad for Rei and thoroughly believe she deserves better.
Midoriya x Uraraka - Ah, the chosen ship. The meant to be. The absolutely terrible, I hate it. While this is obviously not the worst ship in the show, I still severely dislike it. Itā€™s not good, itā€™s completely forced, and it doesnā€™t flow well. Uraraka likes Midoriya in the show, because heā€™s the protagonist. Not because he did anything special to impress her. I mean, to be fair, he is pretty cute, but by the logic that he impressed her with his quirk, everyone else should be shipped with him in canon, too. If she hadnā€™t been the first girl she met, I probably wouldā€™ve liked this ship a lot more, since it wouldnā€™t have been set up from the very beginning, but it was, so I donā€™t like it at all.
Todoroki x Bakugo - ...Why? Theyā€™re literally only shipped together because theyā€™re two of the main characters and because they look good together in art. Thereā€™s no chemistry, they donā€™t even have the childhood friends trope that Bakugo and Midoriya do, theyā€™re just, main characters, so people ship them together.
All Might x Midoriya - Do I really even need to explain why this is bad? Itā€™s pretty obvious from literally any standpoint, itā€™s not a good ship. Donā€™t ship them. Thatā€™s like shipping a father with his son. Donā€™t do it.
Bakugo x Midoriya - Here it is. The ultimate worst ship in this fandom. Iā€™ll start with the obvious, Bakugo is abusive of Midoriya. Midoriya went through years upon years of bullying and most likely trauma directly from Bakugo! I thought we liked Midoriya, so why are we putting him in an abusive ship? My own, special reasoning for this one is that Bakugo and Midoriya are both bottoms, for sure. Midoriya just radiates bottom energy, while Bakugo is the reluctant power bottom. When it comes to shipping for me, Iā€™m okay with a bottom and a top or two tops, but I donā€™t like to ship bottoms together, so this just doesnā€™t work. Besides, this ship is the exact same as Midoriya x Uraraka and Todoroki x Bakugo, its shipped because theyā€™re main characters, this one just has some extra pros and cons. Some of the pros are that they shared a childhood and are growing together as heroes. But I think the cons overpower the pros, because just a few of the cons are that Midoriya spent his entire childhood believing he wasnā€™t good enough and couldnā€™t be like his idol because of Bakugo. He never believed in himself and felt like he could never be what he wanted to be in life because of Bakugo. Not to mention, that, correct me if Iā€™m wrong, but isnā€™t My Hero Academiaā€™s main plot following Midoriya about him overcoming his fears of not being good enough and becoming a hero despite all of his disadvantages, the first of which being a problem Bakugo caused? Basically, the series focuses on Midoriya getting away from Bakugo and not needing his constant critique and learning to ignore his hurtful words. I understand that Bakugo is growing as a character (through Kirishima), but that doesnā€™t automatically make what he did in the past okay. He still abused and bullied Midoriya, even getting everyone else in their class, if not the entire school, to bully him as well. Bakugo is getting better, but he still needs to own up to his past actions, and even if he does that, I still believe Midoriya deserves better than that.
This tier list was missing a lot of ships I expected to be on there, but like Iā€™ve said before, I donā€™t make my own tier lists, I just put them in the order I want.

My thoughts:Ā
I see no god up here other than me:Ā
Ishimaru - I love him more than just about anything right now. His relationship with Mondo was so pure and I loved it, even without my shipping-crazed brain in the way, their friendship is so adorable. He didnā€™t deserve to get killed in Celesteā€™s plan. Heā€™s such a cutie and I think itā€™s adorable how heā€™s obsessed with the rules. When I was watching a playthrough of this game on YouTube, I literally laughed every time he was on screen. I miss him so much. However, I do have one complaint and thatā€™s Ishida. Ishida pretty much ruined Ishimaruā€™s character. While I did enjoy the concept of his soul fusing with Mondoā€™s, it wasnā€™t a good addition to his character. In all honesty, itā€™s what got him killed. If Ishida didnā€™t come about because of Alter Egoā€™s presentation of Mondo, Yamada wouldnā€™t have had a rivalry with him and wouldnā€™t have agreed to help Celeste in killing him.
Mondo - I like his relationship with Ishimaru, they have such a good dynamic and I really appreciate it. His whole story with Chuck, too, was so pure and I really felt for him once I found out about it. Every once in a while, Iā€™ll go on an Ishimondo craze and itā€™s all I can think about for the most part, and every time it happens, I end up watching episode five of the anime (the one where Mondo gets executed) and I cry every time. Not only is his punishment harsh, Ishimaruā€™s screams just kill me every time. I really need to stop rewatching that episode since it always makes me sad.
Youā€™re the best:
Hagakure - I think the reason I like him so much is purely because of Danganronpa panels because all of the oneā€™s Iā€™ve seen with Hagakure are hysterical because of him. Unfortunately, my favorites were removed from YouTube recently and Iā€™m really sad.
Togami - Fun little inside fact, whenever I start a new show, Iā€™ll look at a picture of the main cast and guess which one is going to be my favorite. With Danganronpa, I guessed Togami and Ishimaru, so I was half right. I had no idea I was going to like Mondo so much, but my love for Togami kind of faded with time. He doesnā€™t really have specific moments, like with Ishimaru and Mondo and the sauna, he just has an overall tone that you remember. I still really like his cynical attitude, though.
Hey, I think youā€™re pretty cool, I like you a lot:
Chihiro - I think he (yes, he) is a well-written character. I liked his whole arc with Mondo where he wanted to become stronger and prove that he was even kind of a man. Other than the part where he was killed, obviously. He had a good backstory and I really enjoyed his character.
Kirigiri - Sheā€™s the typical sleuth, who I wouldnā€™t usually like, but sheā€™s pulled off really well. She always raises a lot of questions, but still provides answers when theyā€™re necessary. I liked her as the unofficial leader, although you could argue that Makoto or Togami was the unofficial leader, I still think it was her. She got them through most of the cases and made sure that everybody was on board. She always made sure that nothing was overlooked and thatā€™s very admirable.
Makoto - Heā€™s a good protagonist, bland and boring with a hint of sensibility. I donā€™t think I like him as a protagonist as much as Hinata, but heā€™s still good. I just think heā€™s a bit too bland and being the protagonist is his entire character, thereā€™s not really anything else there.
Fukawa - I loved the red herring she introduced in the second case with Genocider Sho, not to mention the idea of Genocider in the first place. It was a lasting red herring that actually mattered later, which is what makes a red herring good instead of just a time waster.
Sayaka - I thought she was super nice and sweet at the beginning, but then, you know, she tried to murder Leon and blame it on Makoto, so that wasnā€™t the nicest or sweetest thing to do.
I remember you:
Celeste - She was pretty cool, I really liked her design, and her ultimate ability was a cool concept. But she indirectly killed Ishimaru, so...
Asahina - Her character centered on the fact that she loved donuts. And she survived.
Sakura - Her character was so good in theory, I just didnā€™t love how it was executed. However, she was noble and I respect that, I liked her character, but she didnā€™t leave much of an impression on me, other than the fact that she was strong.
Yamada - Again, a good concept, but I actually kind of liked how it was executed. But he seemed kind of bland to me and he actually directly killed Ishimaru, so...
Youā€™re literally the worst. Actual scum. Leave this planet and never return.:
Monokuma - He put my babies through this hell and then they died. Yeah, not a big fan.
Leon - I honestly canā€™t describe why I hate him so much, but I do. I think he was just obnoxious and didnā€™t get a chance to redeem himself since he was killed third.
Fun fact in case you didnā€™t notice: Junko and Mukuro are missing. I donā€™t make these templates, I just take other peoples and change the orders, so itā€™s not my fault. Iā€™m still not going to talk about them, though, because they arenā€™t on the list.
My definitive list of favorite characters from Danganronpa:
1. Ishimaru
I donā€™t need to decide on the rest, heā€™s all that matters. Heā€™s just best boy.

My thoughts:
I see no god up here other than me
Mr. Coconut - Mr. Coconut is the best Total Drama character, he didnā€™t deserve to be voted off on his first appearance. I miss him.
Cody - I know people donā€™t like Cody fans, but heā€™s honestly my favorite because heā€™s funny, I guess. His crush on Gwen was entertaining in the first season, but I canā€™t believe he kept her bra into the second one. I also really liked his writing when after his crush on Gwen lost itā€™s charm, they introduced Sierra and let his character flow towards hers.
Izzy - Iā€™ll be honest, I liked her character a lot more in the first season than the second. She was funny, random, and all over the place. Not to mention when I first started watching this show, I had a weird obsession with red hair.
Noah - I know a lot of people that donā€™t like Noah, and I get it, but I really like him. His sarcastic tone is hilarious to me, and I wish he lasted longer in the first season. Luckily, he was in the third season for a lot longer, and I really enjoyed that.
Youā€™re the best
Sierra - I can really relate to Sierra, because like her, I ship everything and everyone, all the time. I can also relate to her crush on Cody, because for whatever reason, when I started watching this show I had a weird crush on him. I don't regret anything.
Courtney - There are really only two opinions on Courtney, you love her or you hate her. I love her, to be quite honest. I admire her strategies and how she got so far without cheating at all, she shouldnā€™t have been voted off, it was incredibly unfair. Her relationship with Duncan was also pretty entertaining.
Trent - While writing this, I realized that Gwen wasnā€™t included on this list, and thatā€™s kind of sad. Anyway, Trent is pretty cool and I really liked his voice, especially in the second season. I wish he had been in the third season other than the aftermaths because he was actually a singer and I wouldā€™ve loved to hear him sing some more. His obsession with the number nine wasnā€™t too weird, either, I figured it was just some form of OCD, which I also have, so that was kind of cool. But the actual reasoning was really sweet, too.
Chris - I would hate Chris in real life, but as an animated tv host, heā€™s hilarious.
Justin - What can I say? Heā€™s hot. He wasnā€™t the best villain in the second season, but I still enjoyed watching him.
Leshawna - Sheā€™s so cool, I aspire to be like her. I want to be as badass as she is and have her kickass attitude. She was such a major player in the first two seasons (less so in the third, because of Alejandro) and one of my favorite moments in the entire show is when she knocked Heatherā€™s tooth out in the third season.
Hey, I think youā€™re pretty cool, I like you a lot
DJ - Heā€™s such a sweetheart and itā€™s so nice to see. I loved Bunny in the first season. I didnā€™t like his alliance with chef in the second season, though, it kind of ruined his character, in my opinion.
Lindsay - I usually donā€™t like the dumb blondes, but Lindsayā€™s pretty funny. I liked her stretched out arc between the first two seasons where she was a total pushover with Heather, but then started to stand up for herself and share her ideas. But that was completely overlooked in the third season to make her the same dumb blonde she was in the first season.
Katie - Most people would put her next to Sadie, but I actually liked Katie quite a bit better. I preferred her character design and her voice was slightly less annoying.
Duncan - Heā€™s pretty entertaining. I donā€™t typically like bad boys in any context, but he was pretty good. I liked his relationship with Courtney, but didnā€™t like the one with Gwen nearly as much. It kind of made sense, but it also didnā€™t at the same time. His whole disappearance in the third season wasnā€™t exactly original, but it was still well-executed.
Bridgette - I liked Bridgette a lot better in the first season than the second. Her character was great, she stood up for herself and stuck to her morals. But then in the second season, her character was totally overshadowed by Geoffā€™s and all she did was make out with him. The same happened in the third season, but with Alejandro. However, that gave the opportunity for the objectively best song in season three.
Owen - He was a nice guy, but I didnā€™t like his gag with the potty humor. Iā€™ve never thought that was funny, but it does kind of fit the showā€™s target audience.
Alejandro - He was an excellent villain and I loved his manipulation tactics, he was smart, quick-witted, and took advantage of his skills. He was basically a better Justin. I put him this low, though, because while I enjoyed his place as a villain, his character was only so-so.
Chef - He had his moments, but they didnā€™t come often enough for me.
I remember you
Beth - She absolutely deserved her win in season two and I feel bad for her during her time with Heather and then Lindsay, but she never really stood out to me as a character.
Tyler - He was funny and all, but he didnā€™t get enough screen time to make too much of an impression.
Geoff - He was really interesting in the first season as a party boy, but in the second season, all he really did was make out with Bridgette and argue with her. I really enjoyed his appearance during Gwenā€™s character development during the first season.
Harold - I used to like Harold, and I was considering putting him farther up on this list, but then I remembered what he did to Courtney, and it just wasnā€™t cool.
Sadie - Her entire character was tied to Katieā€™s and I donā€™t really like when that happens with characters. Props to her for getting farther in the game, though.
Eva - She definitely left a strong impression on me even with her limited screentime, unlike most of the other characters in this tier, but it wasnā€™t really a good impression. She came off as angry and that was it. That was her character. I can relate, I have anger issues sometimes, but itā€™s not my only trait.
Blaineley - She fulfilled her role as a new character, but not quite as well as either Alejandro or Sierra. Alejandro fulfilled his purpose as a villain and Sierra fulfilled her purpose as an addition to Codyā€™s character. However, Blaineley was supposed to be a villain. This honestly didnā€™t occur to me until recently, but now that I think about it, thatā€™s part of the reason she couldnā€™t fulfill her purpose. I mean, if you can't even tell that a characterā€™s supposed to be a villain, theyā€™re not being a very good villain.
You are the literal worst. Actual scum. Leave this planet and never return.
Heather - I know itā€™s typical to put Heather in the worst tier, but I really donā€™t like her. I appreciate her as a villain in the same way I appreciate Alejandro, but she was just ruthless. Most other characters centered around her existence and their relationship with her was their only aspect. I guess that isnā€™t really Heatherā€™s fault, but Iā€™m still going to associate it with her.
Ezekiel - Oh lord, this guy. Heā€™s incredibly misogynistic and absolutely did not need to come back for the third season. It was kind of funny seeing him for the first challenge and being the first one voted out again, but he didnā€™t need to come back after that, no matter how interesting the challenges centering him were.
My definitive list of favorite Total Drama characters
1. Cody
2. Noah
3. Izzy
4. Mr. Coconut
5. Gwen

My thoughts:
I see no god up here other than me
Marco: Heā€™s such a bean and didnā€™t deserve to die. He should have lived a good, long life with Jean, completely safe from the titans. He especially doesnā€™t deserve all of the jokes made about him being half-eaten.
Levi: Heā€™s short so he needs to assert dominance by standing on tall boxes. Like the Darth Vader on my friendā€™s unplugged deep freeze.
Youā€™re the best
Jean: I donā€™t typically like horses, but heā€™s an exception. Heā€™s funny and had a good dynamic with Marco.
Armin: Heā€™s cute and powerful, too pure for this world. He just needs his shining moment.
Hey, I think youā€™re pretty cool, I like you a lot
Erwin: Tol and a good leader.
Connie: I used to like him a lot more than I do now, but then Marco made a presence in my life and changed everything. Heā€™s funny and all over the place, but thatā€™s his whole character, I canā€™t remember anything else about him.
Mikasa: Sheā€™s super powerful and cool, I love all of her battle scenes, because her movements are so fluid and precise, itā€™s great.
Hanji: She likes learning about titans, and I love her sense of curiosity and willingness to risk her life to learn.
I remember you
Sasha: Iā€™m lucky I remember her name. She didnā€™t make much of a presence to me. The eating jokes were funny the first few times, but they got less funny when it became her entire character.
Bertholdt/Reiner: I literally canā€™t tell which is which, so theyā€™re in the same section of thoughts. Theyā€™re not very distinguishable to me, except for their titan forms, they sort of blend into the same character.
Eren: Heā€™s the main character. Cool.
I donā€™t remember who you are
Armin, but girl: Sheā€™s kind of like an angel? Maybe? I think thatā€™s what people call her. I didnā€™t like her very much because she was just the pure type with nothing else, and sometimes that works, but not here.
The other girl in this tier: I think she had a couple of gay moments with one of the other girls? I literally donā€™t remember seeing her ever again in at least the first season.
No.
Annie: I donā€™t like her mostly because of the whole Marco incident that I spoiled for myself online. But I donā€™t really like most of her interactions with everyone, sheā€™s cold and distant, tried to kill a lot of people and succeeded sometimes.
My definitive list of Attack on Titan characters:
1. Marco
2. Levi
3. Armin
4. Jean
5. That one guy that roasted the king in one of the first episodes of the first season
6. This guy:

My Thoughts:
I see no god up here except me
Frosch- Heā€™s obviously the best, I mean look at him, heā€™s so adorable.
Freed- I love his relationship with Laxus (yes, I ship it) because itā€™s just so obvious how in love with him he is and itā€™s great. I also love the type of magic he uses, itā€™s so cool to me.
Rogue- Rogueā€™s pretty great, and heā€™s really hot, too. I think what makes me like him so much is his relationship with Frosch. I absolutely adore how heā€™s super emo all of the time, except when heā€™s with Frosch.
Youā€™re the best
Gray- He takes his shirt off all the time, of course heā€™s this high up.
Cana- I really like her dynamic with all of the other members of the guild, sheā€™s like a big sister and I think thatā€™s really cute.
Gajeel- I think one of my favorite parts with him (other than all of the oneā€™s with Levy) is when he was looking for a cat sidekick, which eventually became Lily.
Milliana- Sheā€™s always been one of my favorites for no particular reason. I do love cats, though, so that might be it. I really like the way she ties into Erzaā€™s past, too.
Aquarius- The scene where Lucy broke her key was heartbreaking, and I really miss her. She was a very funny character and always brought life to the screen whenever she was on it.
Hey, I think youā€™re pretty cool, I like you a lot
Brandish- I like how cool-headed her character is, and her change from one side to being more neutral was really cool and well done.
Aries- She just cute, what else can I say?
Bisca- Her marriage with Alzack is so wholesome. You could argue that as the series goes along, weā€™re following the relationship of Natau and Lucy, but I think Alzack and Bisca have grown much more. Also, Asuka is just the cutest thing ever.
Angel- She was such a great villain. Not because she was good at being a villain, but because she was entertaining and I loved her as a character. And now sheā€™s on the good side, so thatā€™s even better!
Dimaria- Now this is a villain I can get on board with, sheā€™s super evil all the time, even with her soft spots, and her magic was so cool, too.
Evergreen- I just like her in the Thunder Legion and I find her an enjoyable character. Her relationship with Elfman has also been super enjoyable, as well.
Gildarts- Heā€™s the best dad, and his dynamic with Cana is so wholesome and great.
Bacchus- I honestly donā€™t know why I put him this high, but I love his guild, they never fail to make me laugh.
Bickslow- Again, I like his spot in the thunder legion, heā€™s the crazy one. Iā€™ve also found him entertaining in just about every scene heā€™s in.
Carla- Sheā€™s kind of the mom of the group, even though sheā€™s a cat, and thatā€™s hilarious to me, as a fellow mom friend.
Cobra- His transition from bad to good was so sweet, and his relationship with Kinana/Cubellios is so cute and pure.
Elfman- I just like his dynamic with his sisters and how family-oriented he is. Also, he can cook.
Erza- Sheā€™s pretty far down on the list, but thatā€™s because Iā€™m usually pretty biased against main characters. I think sheā€™s funny and I always laugh at her stage fright, and above all else, her fight scenes are so cool. It was so incredible when we first met her and saw her use her magic, but by now, itā€™s gotten dull.
Eve- I kind of put him here as a place for him, Hibiki, and Ren, since he was the only one on here. While I donā€™t like Ichiya at all, I think itā€™s entertaining how much they praise him all the time and the little routines they do.
Flare- She was a really cool character. She was actually psychotic, but had a really cool backstory and formed a good connection with Lucy. I really liked her development through her entire arc.
Gemini- I think the Gemini twins are kind of funny, but not nearly as much as everyone else Iā€™ve mentioned before. I liked them a lot more in the alternate universe where all of the Zodiac looked a lot different. But to be fair, I liked all of them better in that version other than Leo and Virgo.
I honest to god canā€™t remember his name and donā€™t care to look him up- The only reason heā€™s here and not in ā€˜Donā€™t remember who you areā€™ is because I really like his voice actor in the new season of the anime.
I remember you
All of the characters in this tier are here for the same reason. I remember them existing, but I donā€™t remember most of their names, let alone their personality.
Donā€™t remember who you are
I donā€™t remember who these characters are. At all. I remember seeing some of them, but I remember nothing about them. They didnā€™t stick out to me, therefore, theyā€™re not good.
You are literally the worst. Actual scum. Leave this planet and never return.
I donā€™t really hate any of these characters, I just barely remember them and remember not liking them very much.
So obviously this tier list is missing a lot of characters (I am furious that Levyā€™s not on here) but I donā€™t make my own lists, I just use pre-made ones and order them differently. Hereā€™s my definitive list of favorite characters from Fairy Tail (not including spirits or exceeds)
1. Levy
2. Gray and Rogue
3. Freed and Rufus
4. Mavis
5. Lyon and Cana
6. Juvia and Lisanna
7. Mirajane, Millianna, and Dan Straight

My thoughts:
I see no god up here other than me: Aoyama- Heā€™s my favorite. Thatā€™s it. He is best girl and you can fight me on that.
Youā€™re the best: Todoroki- I like his character design and relationship with Midoriya (yes, I ship it, go away). I also enjoy the character development heā€™s gone through. Kirishima- I donā€™t really know what I like so much about him, heā€™s just great. I also like how heā€™s the one person to get Bakugo to calm down (yes, I ship them, too). Kaminari- Heā€™s so funny to me, and while Iā€™m debating whether I ship him with Jirou or Sero, I like his relationship with Jirou better, because it makes me laugh
Hey, I think youā€™re pretty cool, I like you a lot: Mina- Sheā€™s funny and she absolutely fulfills her purpose as the girl of the Bakusquad. Iida- Heā€™s the dad. Midoriya- I know heā€™s the main character, and I love him, but I donā€™t know, heā€™s just not favorite character material, and his arcs, while endearing, arenā€™t as enjoyable as other characterā€™s. Bakugo- So, my other blog used to be named after him, but that has nothing to do with how much I like his character, his nameā€™s just cool. He can be kind of funny, and like I mentioned earlier, I like his relationship with Kirishima. My favorite part about Bakugo is how much heā€™s matured over the series, and I really enjoyed watching his growth. Koda- I know heā€™s not memorable, but I just really like him. Itā€™s probably because he doesnā€™t get that much attention, and I feel bad, but his quirk is pretty cool, heā€™s basically a Disney princess. I also really enjoyed his small arc in the finals against Present Mic. Hagakure- I think my favorite part about her is her relationship with Ojiro, and sheā€™s put higher on the list because of that. I also like her bubbly personality. Uraraka- I know sheā€™s cute and I love her motivations, but sheā€™s just not favorite character material to me. But sheā€™s this high on the list because of her motivations. Momo- I really like her quirk and her brain, I think her character is fascinating. However, thatā€™s her personality, sheā€™s the ā€œresponsible one,ā€ which Iā€™m all for that, except sheā€™s not over-the-top with her personality like the rest of the characters. Not to mention her personality really gets overshadowed by Iidaā€™s.
I remember you: Ojiro: I like the way he uses his quirk, and he has his funny/cute moments, they just arenā€™t often enough for me to like him more than I do. Sero- Iā€™m aware that heā€™s my profile picture, but thatā€™s not because I like his character. That picture just happened to be close to the top of my camera roll because his birthday was not too long ago. His characterā€™s kind of bland, and I only remember any scenes with him if Kaminari was around him. Jirou- I donā€™t even bother to learn how to spell her name, I donā€™t know if thereā€™s a ā€˜uā€™ at the end or not, but I donā€™t really want to look it up. I like her costume, but thatā€™s really it. Tsuyu- Sheā€™s a frog. Shoji- I actually had to think to remember what his name was, if that says anything. I was really close to putting him in ā€˜I donā€™t remember you,ā€™ but I remember him from the sports festival. Sato- His characterā€™s overshadowed by Kirishima. Tokoyami- Heā€™s an emo bird.
Well, thatā€™s all of the characters from class 1-A, if you disagree with my list, keep it to yourself, because I donā€™t really care. If you do decide to tell me your opinion, Iā€™ll probably ignore it, but on the off-chance you have a point, Iā€™ll think about responding to it.
My definitive list of favorite characters from My Hero Academia:
1. Aoyama
2. Todoroki
3. Monoma
4. Tamaki
