We received this question in our interest check and in short the answer is:

Kind of? The only situation were we could see ourselves needing to take note of someones external content (or even interactions) is if it is excessive or extreme enough to affect the collaborative space of the project and make other participants uncomfortable. Overall our goal is to provide a comfortable and positive space for our contributors during the project.

Overall, we do not wish to police our contributors based on what they do outside of the project. We are aware, though, that there may be some instances where action will need to be taken and someone may need to be removed. Please note that we do not "vet" our contributors prior to acceptance or "monitor" them after acceptance. Doing so would typically requires snooping and stalking though socials which is ... kinda creepy.

So yes, there could be some things we are unaware of.

So some examples of things we may take action towards include, but is not limited to: the use or support of generative AI, intentional plagiarism, and aggressive, disrespectful, or hostile behavior/actions towards a group or individual.

If you have any specific questions about this, feel free to email us. Email is the best way to reach us. If you're a participant of a zine—in general—and have a problem with another contributor, speak to your moderators.

Light Screen: A Pokemon x Color speed run zine

Concept: Contributors will about 2 weeks to complete a mini piece that relates to the theme, features one of the colors from our palette and at least one pokemon (or trainer) of their choice.

Content Restrictions and Requirements

Theme: 🤫 Our secret theme will be revealed in the Discord server once the project begins to add to the challenge. (The theme will be broad and open to interpretation)

Rating: SFW, PG

Characters: Should include one pokemon or established character in the Pokemon universe; no OC trainers or fanmade pokemon designs.

Zine Specs: Free Digital Artists: 1748 x 757 px Writers: FAQ listed after the “Keep Reading”; Follow our Twitter for more consistent updates.

🌈Cover Artist Due to the nature of this zine, we will not have a specific cover artist.

🌈 Using our Color Palette: The main highlight of your work should be the one of the five colors provided. Artists: Think hue-vember; you do not have to do a monochrome palette and you do not only have to use the given colors. Your piece simply has to highlight/heavily feature the specific shade of color provided. Writers: Focus on items that are the same shade of the color or even emotions evoked from looking at it. Feel free to just use words that describe the colors: "lavender", "sage", "sky blue", "mauve". You are free to interpret it how you want to as long as it's reasonable.

Content Restrictions and Requirements

Canon Compliant. Sailor Moon takes place in 1992 which is a determining factor in our 90's nostalgia theme

All Sailor Moon Series and official spin offs can be referenced.

Shipping: Only canon ships are allowed. Any crushes can be mentioned as well.

Theme: 90's Nostalgia; zine pieces should showcase things that are nostalgic to the 90's from technology, toys, and color palettes.
