i wrote some headcanons a while back in which steven stone exercises his academic prowess with his beloved

Steven Stone and his s/o in university ! ✧

So studious and princely; comes to school early to read in the school library

Probably unusually well-versed in taxonomy and calls everything by its scientific name in biology

Can always been found in his biology teacher’s room using the microscope on his rocks

A bit of an artist; carries around a faux leather notebook in which he draws/records his rock observations. rockservations, if you will !

Probably extends these sketches to botany. Loves drawing leaves !

Gives you some of his sketches with sweet notes written on the back.

Definitely a top student; girls and guys all crush on him. he rejected all of them until you came along ! <3

Strong in science and language. 

Is the type of guy to just. know latin

Not as good in music and mathematics.

If there’s a geology course, he definitely aced it already (probably in his freshman year)

A regular at a small, local coffee shop, and always orders the same thing. 

He took you to that shop for your first date with him, in which he nervously spewed rock facts, not knowing what to say.

Contrary to his put-together appearance, he has the messiest room ever. it’s full of books, papers, and tools scattered on the floor.

Study dates w/ him obviously !

But sometimes he gets so into explaining the topics in such depth that you end up leaving more confused than you were before.

Usually he’s really helpful though!

Steven brings a healthy and delicious home cooked meal to school everyday (he’d certainly make one for you as well)

He thought a relationship was not in his plans for university, but he can make an exception for you ! <3

Loved it if his sister came to all his matches when he was doing the gym challenge 

When he becomes gym leader of Hammerlocke, his sister is the first to know

As they grow older, Raihan probably calls his sister every week to update her on the latest gossip and events in his life

Sends a lot of silly yet practical gifts to his sister 

Because of this, her house ends up being littered with Champion Leon Beach balls and a 12 set of Champion Leon mugs 😋

His pokemon love when she visits; she brings them treats and Raihan gets ignored playfully

The two siblings rely on each other when they have a problem in their life and need support

Sometimes Raihan thinks back to his excitement when learning his family would be adopting a girl

After all these years, they have grown so close that Raihan could absolutely not live without her <3

disappointed in the lack of rock variety but enjoys collecting fossils

lives a humble life of collecting wood, hitting rocks, and growing flowers and crops.

has collected waaay too many materials and does nothing with them.

…but also feels bad about it.

decent fossil and bug collection, but barely any fish. 

doesn’t know how to buy art and is upset that Wallace won’t tell him.

How about headcanons of Tetcho falling for his (female) best friend who he’s known since they were kids? He confesses and she reciprocates. We need more Tetcho Suehiro content in the world.

tetchou confessing to his f! childhood friend 🌸

You and Tetchou had been best friends since primary school.

The two of you had done everything together back then, whether it be watching ants at the park, playing video games, or even something as simple as homework (Tetchou never understood the equation for slope.)

You had even had a little crush on him during high school - but held back from telling him since you thought he wouldn’t reciprocate. 

But now, you’d gone your separate ways. You had your own job, and Tetchou had joined the Hunting Dogs (The strongest unit in the military, so you’d heard.) 

Because of his job, you weren’t able to meet up as often as before, which made you a little sad.

Of course, you were still friends and usually met up once a month to catch up and have some food together. (Tetchou still had all of those weird food habits that his mother had told you he would grow out of one day)

While you were grateful that you still even got the chance to spend time with him, you feared that one day he wouldn’t have time for you at all. 

But then he shows up at your doorstep at 8 PM, in his sweater that would look so much nicer if it wasn’t soaking wet from the thunderstorm that was going on.

“(Y/n), I need to tell you something,” he exclaims, grabbing your shoulders and looking at you with pure desperation.

“Wh-What is it, Tetchou?” You’re still a little shocked at seeing him like this in the first place, and now he has something so important to tell you that he came here in the rain at night.

Maybe he’s pregnant.

Naturally, you invite him inside and while he takes a shower, you look for some clothes that he could change into.

You’re not too surprised to see some clothes in your wardrobe that belong to Tetchou himself - he’d stayed over far too many times to count, and over time, accidentally left you with a bunch of his clothing.

Sometimes you wore it to remind you of him

While he was finishing up, you made some tea. 

He joined you at the table and asked where you kept the mustard. You direct him to it and he pours it in his tea

“So, what did you need to tell me?” You try not to think about what he just did 

He looks up from drinking his mustard tea and stares at you intently

“Jouno says I’m in love with you. Normally I don’t trust his judgment, but I could not tell what I was feeling, so I asked him over dinner. He said I should tell you, so I rushed over as soon as I could.” 

So you’re just sitting there wondering if 1) you heard correctly, and 2) how could he have said this so bluntly?

“Y-You’re what?” You mumbled, refusing to meet his eyes

“In love with you. Did you not hear me?”

You just continue to look away, staying silent as you try to process what he just told you

He looks down at his tea with a blank expression, then back up at you, then at his tea again. He stares you dead in the eyes.

“Do you not feel the same way?”

His expression is hard to read. He looks curious more than anything, but you can see a hint of longing in his eyes.

“A-ah, no, I do– I mean– ” you stop yourself and hide your embarrassed expression behind your hands, still having not processed your emotions fully.

“So you love me as well?”

You peek at him through the gaps between your fingers. Words don’t come out, even though you know exactly what you want to say. 

You fear your silence will convey a different message, but he knows you better than that.

Tetchou doesn’t like to admit when Jouno is right, but he can’t help the pink that blooms on his cheeks as his heart races thinking about how elated he is, all the things you and him will do together in the future, how cute you look when you’re embarrassed, and how he’s oh so glad that Jouno’s prediction was perfect–

Jouno was right. But he knew he wouldn’t have it any other way.
