$2 from every hat purchased will be donated to an LGBT+ charity of my choosing. I am currently working to get permission to publicly say which charity it will be.

I have been working on getting this out for the last two months. Unfortunately holiday and post-holiday sales just took up so much time. Today feels like the right day to release them though! To start I have Fennec Fox Hats, Cat Hats, and Wolf hats with the LGBT+ rainbow, Asexual, Transgender, Pansexual, and Bisexual flag colors in the ears. All five flags are available in all three animal style of hats. I just didn't want to upload 15 images, would have been a bit much. I created some custom design fabric for the inner ears of these hats. I did my best to make sure the colors match the official colors of the flags. To answer some questions I know are coming. Yes, I will be adding more of the flags I just ran out of space on my custom printed fabric order. Please suggest any pride flags you would like to see. Yes, I will be expanding these to other animal hats. If there is an animal you would like to see please suggest it. The more input I have the faster I am likely to get it done.

I so went and disappeared and I really didn't mean to. Christmas orders hit me like a pile of boulders and I have zero time for anything. Today is the first day I have had to even think about making ornaments. So! Merry Christmas. To start this year we have a Navi Christmas Light! She even blinks (gif can be seen here). She is made with a blue ping pong ball and some craft foam. Super easy to make. I plan to make a tutorial but it might be a bit until I can get to it. Hope you like it!

With Thanksgiving just around the corner that somehow means it is time to buy all the Christmas things. I got inspired by something a friend said and I really wanted to make a fun Santa hat. So we have these! I made them all with a plush fleece brim. This give them that extra big of fluff you want in a Santa hat but without the itchiness of most faux furs. It is so, so soft. It also has a bit of stretch to it just like fleece. Than for added pleasure I have two versions with pompoms. One had a large pompom in the center while the other has two medium pompoms on the top of the ears. All three versions come with the option of white ears, red ears, or white plush fleece ears.

Since today is Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) I thought it was fitting to show you all this Sugar Skull Pillow I finished up recently. It was a gift for someone else who celebrates the holiday. Made with fleece. Most of the details were hand painted with fabric paint. I had a ton of fun making it! I was actually rather sad to send it off, I got a bit attached.

I am so so so very excited to release this hat! SNOW LEOPARD! I have wanted to make a snow leopard for years and years but the spots. I am too much of a perfectionist and I wanted realistic spots. The amount of work needed to create such spots would have been insane and while I was getting close to doing just so I would have a snow leopard hat at least for myself custom fleece came around. 

This hat is made with 100% custom fleece. I designed it and drew it. I drew every single spot by hand. Each spot it unique, none of them are the same as another. The design was then converted to a digital medium so that all the hats will look the same. I am so very happy with how it came out!

Just a work in progress shot of something I am making. This is fabric with fabric paint that is still wet. I plan to turn it into a pillow once it is all dry. I am pretty happy with how it came out. I can’t wait to finish it.

It is Pokétober! 

Actually, when I was trying to fix my computer and digging through everything I own I came across this box of half finished Pokemon hats. Like what?! I haven’t made them outside of commissions in a long while so...huh? They are all size 24 inch and 25 inch so I think when I was prepping for a con these got pushed back when I ran out of time. Then I moved, then I moved again, then I moved again. And they were forgotten until I found them. Most of them only needed minor things to be finished so I did just that.

All of these are ready made so they can be in the mail and to you in time for Halloween for US buyers. Many of these hats I only have the one shown in the photo.

Unless I find another hidden box of half finished hats (I don’t think I will, I went through everything I own) this will be the last time Pokemon hats are for sale outside of commissions.

This is a super awesome custom hat I got to make. The character is belongs to Guri. Go check them out!

This hat was fun to make but I did have all kinds of unexpected trouble with the ears. Normally it takes me 2-3 edits until I get them just right. This one took over 20. I spend so much more time than I normally have to. It was a bit frustrating but I finally got them and I am happy with the outcome. 

This hat also has machine embroidered eyes which was a first. I am so happy I got to make this hat!

Rambling updates

It has been longer than I intended since I posted anything. The last two months have been rather busy. July started with the sentencing for the drunk driver that killed my husband last year. Finally all that was coming to and end but I had to speak at the event and that was beyond hard. The drunk driver got 10.5 years which was the maximum the judge could give. That was...something. I don't know. Good isn't the right word. BUT moving on! At the end of the July my brother got married!!! I was super busy since I had to make my own dress to wear. Normal dresses just do not fit me without it looking like I am wearing a tent. Then I hung around after the wedding for about 2 weeks to help them make their costumes for Otakon. They looked pretty awesome. I do have a pattern I had to create for a part of one of the costumes that I am looking to release online for free. We will see if I ever have time for that. I came back home and my allergies were on overdrive. Not sure why but they are back under control now. Next my printer and computer broke so I had to spend a good amount of time trying to fix them both. I have some parts on order for the computer but alas, my printer is a goner. He lasted 11 years. I will miss him greatly. Then I got rather sick and ended up in the ER. It wasn't a big deal it turns out but no one know what was wrong with me and I was in a lot of pain. I am fine now, a bit worn out from the whole ordeal but completely fine. So now, here I am in September and I have been fulfilling orders but I really haven't been posting online or responding to anyone outside of Etsy. I also have GeekGirlCon coming up at the beginning of October. Hopefully my life will stay more settled now and I will have time to go through pictures and post new things. I have some fun new things to post, just haven't have any time! I hope all of you have had a much more quite time than I have in the last two months!

Axolotl Hats! Finally!

I have had the design for these done since....September. With everything that has been going on it just took me forever to have all 10 made and get the photos of them all for the color options. I wanted to cover all the realistic colors as best I could. I know wild type isn’t black but I can’t really do a spotty green-brown. They don’t make that color in fleece (yet?).  I also made some fun fantasy colored hats because how could I resist!

The gills on these hats are extra fluffy and flowy. Even stationary the gills do barely stay still. When you are walking around they will flow in a similar fashion to the gills of a real axolotl underwater.

I hope you like these hats as much as I do!

I kind of forgot about these guys when I life got all messy. I really wanted to post something today to try and get back into the swing of things. I have been just off since all the court nonsense, then a convention, then more court nonsense. I would like to really hope for things to just calm down and be over but I have more court nonsense coming up and then my brother's wedding. Hopefully I can try to keep up with some level of posting. Anywho, here is the next one of the Fragment Animals. A Black Bear this time. I really like how he came out, all fluffy like. Hope you like him too!
