Watching "The Spider Within" has made ATSV really hit home in a whole new sense. In the short film, not only do we get a good look at Miles' anxiety, elevating his escape scene to a whole new level, we get to see how important Jefferson really is to him.

His dad is constantly making an effort to be part of Miles' life, and is always trying to improve Miles' life. We see this through gestures like moving Miles to his new school, or going out of his way to watch movies together.

Through his dad, Miles can speak of his busy life calmly and with trust, telling him about things Miles might not have even told Rio, one of the sweetest people in his life. Jefferson provides a gateway from the suffocating anxiety and panic attacks Miles gets.

This adds a whole nother level to Miles' determination and desperation to save his father from the Spot. He wants to save his father, not just because he's his dad, but because Jefferson has been so good and important to Miles.

You ever think that after LU was over, Legend couldn't stop thinking about Rulie and what he would have to go through after Hyrule fell? You think that Legend spent his life travelling, thinking about his descendant? Maybe once Legend became an old man and his life was hearing an end he found a magical potion, one that made him age slowly?

One that also took his memories away.

Maybe Legend took that potion and survived the downfall of his world while he stayed an old man. Maybe as the years went on he forgot everything, except that he had to help this little kid. He had to. Eventually, his wondering mind gives up and he sits in a cave, away from the world, clutching a sword he needs to give a young hero?

Why? Well because it's dangerous to go alone. That kid needs help. Legend doesn't know who that kid is anymore though. He cant remember why. He cant remember much any more ...

I was thinking about the PJO Show as one does, and something struck me about Annabeth's hair, especially in the last episode.

I don't know much about hair but I DO have a sister who does, and Annabeth's 'Do looks incredibly complicated so I came up with a little hc

Annabeth gets help braiding her hair from the Athena Kids and they yell maths questions at each other while they do it. It's like, "Get your Cabin Head ready and learn at the same time? RADICAL!"

The slightly angstier option: Thalia used to braid her hair, then Luke took over once they reached Camp Half Blood. When Luke was gone for quests, Chiron would do it. It's a really big symbol of trust from her if she lets you, especially since it seems that there's a pattern of loss with Luke and Thalia

Percy Jackson Canon Events

Y'all I had an idea...

In a previous post I drew OG Percy with Walker Percy as Hobie and Miles, and I've been thinking about Percy Jackson canon events since then, so i came up with a few. Of course, I used to be a massive PJO fan, but i've forgotten a lot since then, so please feel free to build on it and add anything i missed!

. Percy's Fatal Flaw will always be Loyalty

. Percy will always fall in love with an Annabeth Variant

. Percy will always, always be best friends with a Grover Variant

. He will be an offspring of Poseidon

. This one's kinda mean, but if Percy, in any universe, goes on a quest with Bianca, he will fail to save her in the end. Y'know, like Uncle Ben

And most importantly, Percy will always refuse Immortality

This means that the Miguel O'Hara variant Percy is a Percy who broke the canon by accepting Immortality, watching his Universe disappear, without dying himself

My hc is that Sky taught Wild to skydive and that's why he can do it so efficiently in TotK. Also Sky will always be faster than Wild, he's the master

I just re-read Percy Jackson and the Titans Curse, and I had a little THOUGHT

So we already know that Percy and Grover have their empathy link all throughout the book, right? Sorry if I'm wrong, but in Sea of Monsters I vaguely remember Grover saying that if one of them dies, they both die.

For me, I'd like to think that the only reason Percy was able to perform the colossal feat of HOLDING UP THE SKY was bc of Grover and their empathy link.

This is just a hc but because they are such great friends, their empathy link was so powerful that part of the weight of the sky was passed onto Grover. I mean he does contact Percy during this and tells him to hold on. Grover held up the sky along with Percy, or at least made it lighter.

This is just a little theory that I thought was cool. Also, this means that Annabeth is Super Super strong bc she held it up on her own.
