Bonus: A video of my art process behind painting my SMT 30th Anniversary Band of Shadows concert tribute.

It took time, but I chose demons that go well based on shape/color. My final demon choices form 3 color groupings: blue, white, and red.

Inktober: Amanozako.

Amanozako is the daughter of the Shinto god Susano-o, who vomited her out in a fit of fury.

Capricious to a fault, here she is sitting atop a kazaridaru (sake barrel offering), neglecting her job as leader of the tengu 😅

Bonus: A video showcasing my art process behind my Kaneko art style study, featuring my original character Adlai Tiernan. Also featured in this piece is Herald Seraph, Divine Cherub, Divine Throne, and Divine Dominion.

I strayed off model at times, but by re-painting over my mistakes I eventually found my way into recreating Kaneko's style.

Kazuma Kaneko (金子一馬) is the artist for old-school Shin Megami Tensei and Persona.

Bonus: A video showcasing my art process behind my art trade for @rumiriin, featuring their Devil Summoner OC Suzuki Maeda. The BG was inspired by Kaneko's lineless art style, which typically includes a large cast of demons.

For recreating this art style, there is a focus on chiseled shading that accentuate the 3D shapes, and areas that are blended/smudged similar to pastels.

Kazuma Kaneko is the artist for old-school Shin Megami Tensei, including Devil Summoner.
