It’s Good For You If You Forgive Them | Forgiveness in Marriage
We are getting right into Part 2 of our Forgiveness in Marriage series. If you missed Part 1, I talked about how our feelings can get in the way of forgiving. This week, we’re looking at how it’s good for us if we forgive them!
 Some verses we explore:
Ephesians 4:31-32
Hebrews 12:15
Matthew 6:15
Thanks for joining me Newlys! And I’ll catch you in Part 3, where we’ll discuss the things you’ve said you’ll NEVER forgive!

I Don’t “Feel” Like Forgiving | Forgiveness in Marriage Part 1
Hey Newlys! This is Part 1 of our Forgiveness in Marriage Series. Let’s jump right into it.
So, what happens when how we feel is getting in the way of our decision to forgive? Because let’s face it, forgiving is something we CAN choose to do. We are all capable of great levels of forgiveness! But oftentimes, at least for me anyway, how I feel can determine how, when, and if I forgive my spouse.

Today we’re starting the conversation about forgiveness in marriage; what it looks like, how to do it, and examining our choice to show it.
We’re talking about forgiveness today, specifically forgiveness within marriage. This may seem like a simple topic, but it can get complicated when we are unwilling to forgive, or if we are accustomed to holding grudges, or if we simply don’t communicate properly around the topic of forgiveness.
I want to explore some things about forgiveness in the coming weeks!
Do we have a list of things, that we know beforehand, that we just could never forgive? Does our forgiveness have conditions? Limitations even? Has, “I’m sorry” been diminished over time? Is it possible to forgive and forget? Should we do either?
I’d love to hear your thoughts about this because forgiveness can be a really touchy topic!

Hey Newlys! It's Kenya and this is the first episode of my Married with Pets Series, where we can all share stories about our pet additions to the family. In this video I’ll be talking about 5 steps to help you decide whether you and your spouse should even get a pet. So, let’s get into it.
Step 1: Decide together whether you BOTH want a pet!
Step 2: Decide what kind of pet you should get.
Step 3: Count up the costs.
Step 4: Figure out who does what.
Step 5: Decide gender and how many?
All this information is not meant to scare you out of getting a pet! I just want you to make a sensible decision that adds to your marriage, instead of takes away. Our lizard babies add to the adventure that is my marriage with my husband. Are you and your spouse considering getting a pet? What kind? Or if you have a pet already, tell us something about your pet baby!

Welcome to the Marriage in Review Series here on Forever Newlywed!
Using 1 Corinthians 13:4-5, we will be examining marriage from every angle. This is Part 1, so please join me as we dive into some hard topics, funny scenarios, and raw truth. The bible is full of wisdom on every subject, and love is covered in thorough detail. It takes a conscious effort to love, and even more effort to show love through our actions. But are we experiencing love until there is an absence of fear? Are we showing love in our marriages that is sacrificial? Is this kind of love sustainable?
I would love to read comments on what is discussed in the video! Thank you all for watching!!
1 Corinthians 13:4-5 says, “Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envied not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;”

The acting community is small. The black acting community, even smaller. Chadwick Boseman exuded class, humility, gratitude, faith, and integrity. He gave us hope through his performances to believe that anything is possible... Praying for his family and all those affected by this loss.
