second week back at (Zoom) uni starts not until in three days and I’m already stressing out about it haha

may 26, 2018. june is going to be extremely busy, so i tried to make it look less terrifying by making the monthly spread in my planner look cute. my witchy enamel pin collection is shaping up, so i put it on my cork board as a little cheer-up for while i work on my thesis and final reports ✨

-Dreaming of travels but the career is pending. 

-When med school deprives you of a normal social life and just about every holiday.

-It’s all about the temporary sacrifice!

studying without the struggle to feel good enough. studying with interest and people to talk to when you don’t understand something. people who get lost in those topics with you over a drink or dinner in the evening, in a cozy bar after a day full of productive hours. walks and bycicle rides in the nights and in the early mornings because you spent the night in some shady apartment or club. motivation because you’re all in this together. happiness because it’s worth it. because you’re not alone.

I FINISHED MY THIRD YEAR!

Hello everyone! 

I’m sorry for being away for so long. The last months of online school were like crazy and I was a total mess. BUT I passed it! And now I’m officially over my third (out of 5) year of university. I guess I’m no longer “halfway”, but I still like the name. I pommed (pomodoro) like crazy and I broke my record on Forest (big shoutout to that Discord server and all their support, without them I wouldn’t have made it as good as I did) 

(Note: only the 85% was for studying) 

This summer I want to keep studying (especially languages), reading and/or improve my health journey. If you are interested in that, please let me know!

today’s prompt: do you get a break from school/uni/work during winter?

yes, thank goodness. both campuses I’ve attended give several weeks break for winter holidays and new years. this year because of covid we even had our semester end before thanksgiving and then took finals virtually. hoping to use this break to read for fun and get some research done!

today I worked on reformatting the manuscript for the research I did at my last university. I have all extremities crossed that it gets accepted this time around

also I had three cups of coffee today whoops

11.11.20 // three days of lectures for the new quarter and i’m already falling behind (but just a bit. i swear). lucky for me, wednesdays are mostly free so i had the afternoon to myself to catch up 🍀📖

it’s been a lovely day! Chipped away at The Tempest on the porch, went for an early autumn afternoon walk with a little sister! Still need to:

finish The Tempest; write a reflection paragraph

make a Latin study plan for my cousin, who has a big final coming up!

make some kind of study plan for myself???

organize my life at home a little bit! Stop living out of a suitcase! 

I’m just not a naturally organized person, but, well, I’m getting there ^_^
