this green honeycreeper exhibits a genetic mutation known as bilateral gynandromorphism, where one half of the body is male and one half is female. the bird was spotted in the wild in new zealand; researchers suspect the bird is not able to reproduce, but appears to be in good health. they are the second known example of a bilateral gynandromorph green honeycreeper; the last was recorded over 100 years ago.

Hey, I sent you the ask earlier today. I did actually read your reply and wanted to thank you for educating me/us. I was pretty amazed at your process video. Sorry for what I said, I tried to speak from a place of concern and not hate, but I'm not sure that came through at all. That's on me and I'm sorry.

I guess I just wanted to let you know you weren't screaming into a void, even though that doesn't really make up for what I said. Your realistic art is really pretty amazing, and I hope you continue to get more popular and blow up like your last post did.

There's nothing wrong with using AI but please stop lying about it. It hurts the community as a whole, and if you get publicly called out for this, nobody is going to buy your other prints (which are really cute, when they're your actual work and not AI).

I don't know if you're doing this bc you just really need the money, but I'm genuinely afraid for you when people find out you're lying about some of your pieces using AI. You make really cute art, just build on that! Don't throw away your real talent on this BS.

hi so my last post is getting a lot more attention than i’m used to and i just wanted to clear up that it very much is not AI!!!

here’s my timelapse from procreate: i used a photo i took as a reference, traced for proportions (i might get dragged for this too but it was my photo and i was working smarter not harder to get to the actual fun part ok) and then drew/painted the rest. i don’t think any of the people that were saying that will probably even see this but i hate AI just as much as you all do i promise!! i know it’s basically just a copy of a photo which is boring and my realistic stuff ends up very smooth and soft looking like AI sometimes does but that’s just my natural style i guess and what i like to do. also the feet might be a little wonky but that’s mostly because i was tired of messing with them 😭
