There was three knocks at the door, "Hello, detective Heizou! We are sorry for disturbing you at this hour. But some people are very curious on what your opinion is on the people you've met. Is that okay if we question you out here?" A civilian said. "Huh? Oh, sure." Heizou said. The civilian nodded. "So, first person. Kujou Sara, what do you think of her?" The civilian asked.

"Madam Kujou Sara? Yeah, that lady's gotta be the most serious person in the entire Tenryou Commission. It would be nice if she could cut us a little slack and give everyone some breathing room– and she's always on my case about my occasional unexplained absence, but what can I say... I just go wherever the evidence leaves me." Heizou said the civilian nodded.

Heizou's eye's flutter open. "It's.. 6! It's pretty early.. but I'm sure some shops are open now, I hope, I really wanna buy Y/n something.. I'll leave a note beside their side bed to let them know I went out earlier than usual." Heizou said to himself. "Alright, here is some paper.." Heizou said. The note he is about to write says : "Hello Y/n! I went out earlier than usual, also, before clocking out, Kujou Sara said there'll be an important case I need to attend to. Just find Kujou Sara and ask where I am! Don't worry, I won't take long." Heizou finished writing and quietly puts in beside your bedside. He took a glance at you "Y/n.. you're such a majestic human being. No wonder I'm inlove with you.." Heizou said to himself quietly.

"Huh..? That's weird.. Heizou didn't wake me up. Oh? A note.. I guess it's written by Heizou." You said, you read the note and decided to go to Tenryou Commission to ask Kujou Sara. "Madam Kujou Sara! Good morning. I would like to ask where Heizou is? He said he went to investigate a case." You said while panting. "Oh right. He's in Hanamizaka, you can find him there." Kujou Sara say's "thank you Madam Kujou Sara." You said Kujou Sara nodded "Alright.. time to head to Hanamizaka, I don't want to walk so I'll just.. teleport to his location." You said, you teleported to where he is, you looked around you, and you saw him. Shikanoin Heizou, lying down in his pool of blood while breathing slowly. Your eyes widen to your sight.

"HEIZOU!!" You screamed out loud. You rushed towards him, "Heizou.. what happened?!" You yelled while holding his hand. "Y/n..? Ah, there you are.. I was just thinking of you." Heizou said weakly. Tears flowing down your cheeks "what happened.. who did this..?" You said while your voice breaking, Heizou reached his hand towards your cheek to wipe your tears. "Shh, don't cry, Y/n. Don't worry, I'll be fine.. also, before you speak.. I have something to say.. it's.. important to me." Heizou said, "go ahead.." you said squeezing his hand. Heizou exhaled

"well, I asked if you had a crush, right? And then my demeanor changed.. when you said no, my heart crushed into pieces but at the same time I didn't believe you. I actually love you, more than a friend, Y/n. I know this is a bad timing but, I'll survive, I promise you.." Heizou said while caressing your hand. "Heizou you.. you should've said that sooner..! I lied. I like you too.. but, why now..?! Why not before!" You said, Heizou chuckled weakly "don't worry, Y/n.. I'll survive this.. if I don't then.. can I perhaps, kiss you for the first and last time..?" Heizou said. You didn't hesitate and put your lips into his, Heizou's hand rubbing your cheeks. Heizou chuckled, "I wish I experienced this way back then.. I wish I had the title yours. I'm.. truly sorry, my love, but I don't think I can fight it anymore.. I've lost too much blood. But, thank you for making my last breath, my last time here on earth happy. I'm glad I smile in my last times, and.. I'll entrust you with the future cases, okay? Find a better man who can treat you good, live a wonderful life for me, dear. I'll forever remember you.." Heizou said, however, unfortunately, those were his last words, "Heizou..? Heizou! Heizou please wake up! Don't leave me.. please..!" You begged while shaking his body. "Why, Little Cupid.. why must you do this.." you said before the Tenryou Commission takes him away.

waves of laughter follow, loud enough to cover up the sound of your heart breaking into tiny fragments. hurriedly, you take your bag and rush away from the club room, not listening to the following teases, pointing out the rosy tint that painted the tip of his ears.

you knew that he thought of you like that, yet you had always believed that he certainly didn‘t mean all these remarks he said to you whenever you both would spend some time together. however, you couldn‘t help but feel an wave of embarrassment. was this truly what he thought of you?
