Tacticians of Ahm is a tactical combat-focused tabletop roleplaying game in the corrupt3d fantasy world of Ahm. A bit-rotten blight has appeared in the Northern Sea and from it flows the Corrupt1on, fractured light and shattered shapes sowing chaos across the realm. As Tacticians, you alone are prepared to face the darkness spreading across the lands and reunite the scattered peoples of Ahm.

Inspired by video games like Into the Breach, Final Fantasy Tactics and Fire Emblem, Tacticians of Ahm was created out of a desire to maintain the rewarding tactical choices and big dramatic moments of traditional grid-n-minis TTRPG combat without slowing the pace of play by removing as many of the frustrating aspects of play as possible and streamlining the rest. Combat is fast and furious! You can always easily read your abilities, know the damage you will do (and when you can do it), and more.

On the viscous mangrove biome, the landscape is dotted with tar pits. This dense liquid is rich in chemical nutrients and decomposing organic material. The fauna and flora have specialized to survive in this environment. Carcasses of animals not adapted to this location float and sink within the darkness of the liquid. The heat of summer becomes suffocating with with the natural gases being expelled from this place.

The ground beneath your feet moves in liquid-like patterns. The horizon slides through the landscape, and the mountains breathe, and even cities slide through the earth. This is a chaotic and connected planet. Something violent and yet, fragile. Here we observe the cycle of life and death - the rythm of living things, and the layers of this planet. This is a reincarneted world, in which civilization keeps going on the rubble of a magical war. Everything's changed. The world won't ever be the same again, as a river never flows the same way twice.

Thus, in order to thrive, it's the challenge of all living beings to embrace constant change.

To also never be the same again.
