I have found love in the worst places, it turns out when you find love in the worst places it’s often the love you shouldn’t keep. Love should be hard to find, not easy

I’ve been stuck in the dark, waiting for you. I wait and wait and wait, not letting myself know the worth I have because I think you are the only person who can determine that.

I’m Jealous
I’m jealous of the rain, as it touches you 1 million times.
I’m jealous of the wind, as it gets to blow through your hair.
I’m jealous of the world, as it gets seen by you and I don’t.

She sits in the tree gazing through the meadow. She sits as her mind runs through the tall grass. She sits while the others play. She sits and watches life go on around her. She sits and doesn't regret a single thing.
prompt 1456
Try this:  write an opening paragraph that uses repetition of sentence structure and/or words. If you do it well, you’ll see how the technique can help draw the reader into the story.
Example: Beyond the boy’s tiny house in the dunes, beyond the windswept beach and its sea-oat hair, beyond the restless gray waves constantly rearranging themselves, the azure sky waited to see what the new day would bring.

I have walked these halls a thousand times, yet it still feels like a maze. Do I go left or right, I can never seem to tell. There are too many choices and I can’t go through with this again, not here and not with you.

Poor Forrest
“Momma said life’s like a box a chocolates… you never know what ya gonna get”
                                                                          -Forrest Gump
Sometimes that saying is wrong, there are a lot of times in life when you know exactly what life is going to give you, most of the time there is nothing you can do to stop it either. That’s the way life is and no one in this world knows why.

Drawn To You
I was always attracted to the darkness, like a pitch black forest or even the gray on a rainy day. It always pulled me closer and closer because I knew the darkness would take longer to blind me than the light.

Breathe. You're doing great, as a doctor would say when you get a shot. It hurt much more than a shot, it was a continuing pulsing pain that wouldn't stop, no matter how much I willed it too. Rest. Don't strain your muscles. Sorry I’m not too worried about my muscles when I’m terrified of how it feels to be in a car.
prompt 1453
Pick a topic. Write a one-word sentence followed by a medium length sentence, followed by a long sentence. Repeat the pattern until you have written a paragraph. Don’t worry that the one word sentence is probably not grammatically correct. This is art. Here’s an example:
Wait. Do not despair, little one. If you give it some time, even just a few minutes, you will hear the Muse start to sing. Listen. Am I not perfectly correct? Inspiration comes to your ear only when there is silence, for it is a fleeting gift.

She hid in the corner, so afraid. She could barely lift her eyes. Her mind went mad with thoughts, as it did in a silent room when she was trying to fall asleep. From the outside you could tell that her mind was rambling on and on and on, like it never would have seemed to stop. You could tell that she was weak, but it was never something to prey on because you knew you would be responsible if she ever did anything to harm herself. She lives in her own world, keeps her head down. The kind of girl with only a few acquaintances, like the kind of people you would have small conversations with, but they never seemed to last more than five minutes. Everyone knew what type of girl she was, so they just left her alone, to destroy herself in that corner.
prompt 1446
Write a piece that illustrates this:
You can tell who someone really is by what they do when they’re afraid.

Riding along The roads all smooth We come to a sharp stop The first thing I heard was the loud beeping As my body thrusted forward Then the loudest thing I heard The crash from behind As my head was thrown back And slammed on the seat behind me A tear fell from my cheek But it happened so fast The car halted to a top I went forward again And just as I thought it was done The car came to full stop And my body fell sharply back again I’m left with a sharp pain Starting in my neck Shooting up through the back of my head And going down to the middle of my back I thought it would go away in a few minutes Maybe it was just the impact Afraid to stay in the car to drive home The pain lingered Every turn we took Every bump we hit It terrified me It's only been five days since But it's felt like months I remember everything Every little detail To where the coffee splashed To the position the car was on the road How do you forget something like that How do you move on I don't blame anybody It's just stuck in my mind And I think it will be forever
