as we’ve established i save fics in my memory and otherwise keep no records but here are some sporadic recommendations, in disorder:

sherazade/summer’s over when i die, by notallwindows: i loooove a timeloop and it’s so perfect for tsh’s story. characterisation and style is great- not imitating tartt but true to the essence of the story. eerie and fun.

in sleep as soft as death, by liesmyth: another timeloop and probably my fav first read in the fandom. the interactions and the futility of it all just rings so true. also richard being a whore. really nice style.

out there, somewhere, by renaissance: just. the dialogue. every francis line deserves framing. ‘i really wouldn’t know how to kill myself in california.’ come on. the tone is also pitch perfect.

fashioning new gods, by renaissance: love the format of the character introductions, and the variants in perception. all very plausible behind the scenes.

there are many names in history by sableeclair: i just remember the tone and richard monologues of this feeling right, and the heavy henry <- richard bent of it is a well utilised dynamic.

you do not recognise the bodies in the water, by thinlyletteredabyss: i love the confidence of this piece. hits you right with an incredibly juicy setup (bunny zombie era??) and so much wild history behind it but just keeps pushing from there. also the francis richard cohabiting exes energy is so excellent. yes it’s all absurd but i can see it.

in which no one listens to henry and things work out much better, by emma_oz: perfect, no notes.
