Applied for a State Job, got the interview and haven’t heard back in almost 3 weeks. But it’s state and state takes longer.

While the job I applied and interviewed for was just reposted.

And tbh it’s the shittest feeling. Like I found out because it was recommended to me apply because I fit the criteria. Like I would have still been bummed to get an email saying I didn’t get it but what is up with County and State Government Jobs ghosting people. Private sector/Private Companies I can understand. But County/ State Level should have more professionalism.

Or like am I not good enough to get the courtesy of a rejection letter?

I’m going to go spiral about this for a bit.

Being unemployed and trying to get a job sucks.

Y’all ever think about how Bucky would 100% distract Steve after being slightly injured with sex?

Like Bucky over does it and he is just sore. Nothing was even bleeding but he winced slightly when Steve smacked him on the back. Steve goes on high alert and Bucky manages to avoid any conversation with Steve on the Quinjet.

Bucky then finishing debriefing in a record’s time and beat Steve to their apartment by an hour. And Bucky just waiting to pounce.

The moment Steve walks in the door Bucky jumps him. Pressing up again him, kissing him anywhere within reach, grabbing at his clothes and begging for him in between praises of how good Steve looked in his suit.

Steve trying to slow Bucky down, but it is really hard to say no when Bucky looks so good begging for him and apart of his brain is able to convince him Bucky can’t be that hurt if he is begging so prettily.

Steve not actually being a Captain is a popular headcanon in the fandom, and I get it, it's funny.

I just want to point out that—ignoring all other evidence that he was promoted to the rank of a Commanding Officer; such as leading an elite combat unit, or sitting at the head of the table in the war room and being heavily deferred to for military strategy, etc.—if you take a look at his dress uniform in Captain America: The First Avenger, he wears the official insignia of Captain.

They don't just give that insignia to people symbolically. It's a role that always comes with duties and responsibilities, ones that are far different from that of lower ranking men, including Seargents like Bucky. These are duties and responsibilities we see actually Steve carry out in the film.

I need more of Bucky's arm bothering him.

Like this man got the equivalent of a Shoulder Disarticulation. He still has his shoulder blade but none of the arm bones that make the shoulder.

Like Bucky not having his arm on then being startled or grimacing and just being like, "Sorry my left arm hurts" or he is wearing the arm and just casually scratching it or rubbing it. Because it itches or it aches.

Or after longer missions or a lot of heavy lifting, Bucky struggles to get his arm off because it is sore and swollen. Him not being able to put his arm back on because of how it aches and how swollen it is.

Bucky forgets he can't take a super hot shower because it causes swelling which makes it hard to put his arm back on.

Or Bucky not wearing his arm and has a medical device that helps support his residual limb, maintain its shape, and help with swelling. It straps across his chest.

Like sure, Bucky is superhuman, but man him more human by having prosthetic issues or some common amputee issues.

But also give me...

Bucky does not have his arm on and just throws a hair tie at someone and then laughs before they help him with his hair.

Or Bucky cuddling up to someone with his left side and being able to be really close to them because his arm doesn't get in the way.

Maybe Bucky forgets he doesn't have his arm on and he does an action that everyone stops and looks at him before someone laughs and tentatively says "Did you forget you don't have your arm on" which causes Bucky to blush and laugh at himself because yes he did.

Bucky flings/ shoots his hair tie at them to be a little shit and then just casually goes well while you have a hair tie mind doing my hair.

And Steve learning braids for Bucky?! Beautiful! To mess with Bucky sometimes Steve just puts Bucky's hair in a high ponytail or a bun. Laughing at Bucky's pouting before he actually does a braid for him.

Over time Steve has a basket in his bathroom that is just a collection of different brushes and hair products he needs (and likes) for when he does Bucky's hair.

They also stay quiet most of the time, just enjoying each other's company.

The Howlies would like to pose the question did Steve and Bucky know they were in a relationship?

But they knew before Steve and Bucky did. It was mentioned once, just simply asking how long they had been together and seeing Steve’s and Bucky’s reaction was priceless. But everyone learned to drop it… well for a bit.

Bucky and Steve could feel the other Howlies’ eyes on them when either of them ask the other for a word privately. And while Steve or Bucky never called them out for it, they saw the kissy faces they made at them too.

But in the Howlies’ defense, Bucky and Steve , never saw how the other looked at them when they were talking. Or how their eyes lit up when the other laughed. The Howlies saw ever lingering touch and ever hesitation the pair had. Or the late nights sneaking around the camp, to hang out or spend the night together. The Howlies, also saw the panic and upset that they would be in when the other was hurt. Or just how Bucky and Steve bickered and took care of each other like an old couple.

To the Howlies it was obvious they were in love. And it’s not even that Bucky and Steve didn’t know they were in love. It was neither of them admitting to it or doing anything about it.

Though a particular memory that will forever stand in Steve’s head from the Howlies days was when Bucky was captured. And they had to go through hell to get him back. And Dum Dum yelled out at Steve, “ I better get a damn wedding invitation after this!”

First off I love this idea.

But imagine how it all started, maybe Bucky did go out on a date with a girl and Steve got heated. Bucky tries to smooth things over and tells Steve it isn't like Steve could just become a woman. But gives Steve a wild and far-fetched idea.

Steve already knew he was pettie, he was smaller than his own ma for goodness sake. So sneaking into her closet one day while she was at work, wasn't all that hard. Finding a dress that fit was even easier for Steve.

Imagine Steve not telling Bucky about the idea until he has perfected his girl form. Bucky almost caught on a few times when Steve's voice was way too high-pitched, but Steve played it off as asthma, which of course only made Bucky worry more.

Then Bucky invites Steve to some technology convention and it was just going to be them. Bucky wasn't interested in trying to find a double date for me. But the surprise on Bucky's face when he knocked on Roger's apartment and a young woman opened the door. She had brown shoulder-length hair, a gorgeous navy blue dress on, red lips, and red heels.

Bucky short-circuited for a second before he heard Steve's laugh leave the woman's lips.

Now there was excitement because the outfit was so convincing and Bucky was beyond excited to be able to take out his lover without all the attention.

Bucky spends some of his paychecks on makeup or new outfits for his Dot. Which honestly became a persona for Steve. Dot was a little more sassy and brattier than Steve and it drove Bucky wild.

It was also impressive how much Steve's makeup skills improved over the short time, but they were constantly going out because Bucky constantly wanted to show off his dame.

Post-Serum was a different story, Bucky would tease Steve when Dot's personality slipped out, but Steve didn't have the supplies or time to dress up as her anymore.

Then once they were both reunited, it would still take Steve time before they brought up Dot again. It wasn't until Bucky saw Steve's Instagram feed over Steve's shoulder and saw Steve was watching how BodyBuilder women liked to dress to feel (more) feminine or how the next post showed a woman with huge muscles in a cute dress and not caring what society thinks. That's when Bucky realized that maybe Steve missed being able to dress up as Dot.

So Bucky goes to work finding different clothing, styles, and wigs before presenting it all to Steve.

"Would you be interested in being my Dot again?"

The small smile on Steve's face made it all worth wild.
