Trans Peter Quill Headcanons

- Meredith Quill not fully understanding but supporting him anyway when he says he wants to be Star-lord and not Star-lady - Peter being super nervous about the Ravagers finding out he’s trans - Yondu always let him cut his hair and dress however he wanted growing up - Peter binding with bandages from the medbay and getting hurt on a job - After finding out Yondu IMMEDIATELY gets him a real binder because “You ain’t useful if your damn ribs are broken, boy” - Peter being really surprised when Yondu calls him boy and starts using the right pronouns right away - Transphobia isn’t a thing in space so Yondu’s like well yeah if you say you’re a boy you’re a boy - Peter almost starts  c r y i n g  he’s so happy - Anyone who’s an asshole to him gets thrown out the airlock - The reason Ego didn’t find Peter sooner was because he was looking for a daughter, not a son
