Dear My Friend || Yoongi x Reader || Prologue
Summary: Yoongi will do anything to pursue his dream of becoming a rap star even if it means leaving you behind.
Genre: Angst/ slow burn/ sad
Warnings: mature concept/ swearing
Part 1 (upcoming)
Tumblr media
Outside the Gocheok Sky Dome, a crowd of people lines up to enter the venue. This is Agust D's first performance since the recent controversy. Everyone expected his album to flop. However, he not only defied those predictions but also set a new record, achieving the highest-selling album of the year.
There are people outside the venue impersonating him and passionately rapping his songs. Posters and banners of the show adorn the surroundings, and some enthusiastic fans even take posters, sharing secret kisses with them. Meanwhile, other fans queue up for merchandise being sold at the counters.
While the atmosphere outside is festive, behind the stage presents a completely different world. The staff diligently double-check the sound system, lights, and ensure everything runs seamlessly.
Agust D, also known as Yoongi, is getting ready with the assistance of his stylist and makeup artist. His manager, Jihoon Hwang, sits by his side, ensuring Yoongi's mood remains unaffected. Jihoon is acutely aware of Yoongi's sensitivity during this time and stands ready in case of any issues.
After Yoongi finishes preparing, he requests everyone to leave his room.
"Hyung, can I get a cigarette?" he asks Jihoon.
Jihoon searches his pockets and hands Yoongi just one cigarette, limiting his indulgence. Jihoon is keen on avoiding any negative publicity regarding Yoongi's professionalism or excessive smoking, especially considering his recent controversy.
As the fans settle inside the venue, the band and DJ play their tracks, creating an electrifying atmosphere. Yoongi, however, is lost in thought while puffing on a cigarette.
A staff member snatches the walkie-talkie from another, asking, "Mr. Hwang, is he not ready yet?"
Mr. Hwang sighs, standing outside the door, "Give me 5 more minutes."
The staff frustratedly comments, "You said that 10 minutes ago. The show is going to start soon-"
Mr. Hwang cuts her off, "It's his show. It will start when he wants to."
After 10 minutes, Yoongi opens the door. Mr. Hwang sighs in relief and follows Yoongi. The staff members see Yoongi walking, and they all start to follow him, providing directions.
While walking through the tunnel, staff members attend to Yoongi, handing him his microphone, adjusting his in-ear monitor, and making last-minute fixes to his clothes.
Yoongi warms up, preparing his throat for the performance, stretching his fingers and moving his wrists.
The staff asks Yoongi to crouch down for the lift so he can make a dramatic entry onto the stage. Yoongi patiently sits on the lift, hearing fans screaming his name.
The distant but growing cheer of the stadium crowd echoes – "Agust D, Agust D, Agust D, Agust D."
Senior organizers rush up to Mr. Hwang in massive relief as they see Yoongi on the lift.
"Agust D, Agust D, Agust D, Agust D," the crowd grows louder.
The music builds up on the stage. The staff gives Yoongi a cue, and the lift goes up.
Yoongi jumps onto the stage, his back facing the audience.
He stands still in a pose for a good 30 seconds, and the crowd's screams intensify.
A microphone stand rises from the floor of the stage. The music continues to build up, and Yoongi turns to face the ecstatic crowd.
Fans are still screaming manically as Yoongi walks to the front. The music reaches its climax, and Yoongi puts his microphone on the stand, gazing through the electrified crowd.
"Someone once told me," Yoongi speaks, and the entire crowd falls silent.
He continues, "that if you are not willing to sacrifice for your dream, then your dream will become the sacrifice."
The crowd reacts passionately, some screaming, while others snap their fingers in resonance.
He closes his eyes and inhales deeply, and the crowd patiently waits.
As he exhales, he opens his eyes and says, "So this song is for her, my dear friend."

Bella Sposa | Jungkook x Reader | Part 7
Summary: When his soon-to-be wife goes missing, he will stop at nothing to find her. But he gets broiled in a world full of secrets where no one can be trusted.
Genre: agent au
Part 6 | Part 8 (upcoming)
"Who are you?" Jungkook asks, his gaze lingers on you as he poses the question.
You play the clueless card, acting like you're just not getting it. "What do you mean?"
He sighs, “I have some confession to make." He spills the beans, owning up to the fact that he went digging into your background.
He dishes out an apology for getting all up in your privacy, throwing in how weird it is that you're basically a ghost on social media.
Understanding the delicacy of the situation, Jungkook reassures you that you need not reveal everything at once.
"You can tell me whenever you are ready," he adds, his demeanor considerate.
You respond with a muted nod, fully aware that this talk is bound to go down sooner or later. Unspoken between you two is the acknowledgment that your own deep dive into Jungkook's life had you prepped for this moment.
After a moment of silence, you utter, "My parents divorced when I was 10." Jungkook listens attentively as you unfold the narrative of your childhood.
“My parents were always busy. My father is a soldier, dedicated to the nation, and my mother was a committed doctor. As far as I can remember, I never really got to spend time with them as they left me in the care of a grandmother from my dad's side, who held a disapproving stance, solely because I was a girl."
You flash back to overhearing a brutal exchange between your grandma and mom, where your mom always caught heat for giving birth to a daughter, and the fact that your mom is not fertile anymore.
"When I finally gripe enough to my mom, she took me in," you spill.
"Dad could meet me, but he couldn't care less," you chuckle. But Jungkook didn't miss the bitter taste in your voice.
As you recount the pivotal moment at 12 when your father appeared. But your excitement turned to disillusionment.
"I thought he still loved me," you admit with a wistful chuckle. "But I was wrong... he only came for his benefit."
You rewind to the painful memory of your dad yanking you away from your mom, his men snatching you while he went all brutal on your mom.
“What happened to your mom?” Jungkook's question caught you off guard, a subtle shift in his tone making you acutely aware of the gravity behind his words.
"Huh?"
“You told me she ‘was’ a doctor, so I was wondering if she is no longer a doctor or?”
A bittersweet smile played on your lips as you shared a somber truth, “my mom died when I was 15.”
Flashback
When other girls were having awkward and cute moments with boys at 15, you were brutally training with boys almost double your size.
When he first brought you to the training center, you were disobeying your father and refused to follow his orders. But after you receive your first punishment, you soon realize that if you rebel then only you will get hurt.
You also thought of escaping but that thought got buried after you saw your dad killing one of the trainees who attempted to escape with his bare hands. So at 15, you realize that this is life. If you want to survive, you have to follow his orders.
But when you saw your mom again she gave you hope and made you dream of a future that seemed almost impossible.
You don't know how your mom got inside the training facility and you didn't even bother to ask her.
"Y/N," your mom whispers, panting, "we have to leave now." She surveys her surroundings, "I have everything ready. Let's just go now."
You look at her stretched hands, pondering whether to hold it or let it go.
"Y/N, "your mom calls your name as she caresses your face, "at the end, we are all gonna die. But I rather see you die while you seek freedom."
So you hold her hand and escape the training facility. As you both reached the port where your mom's broker arranged a ship to China, your aspirations were abruptly halted by a menacing group of militants.
“Do not move!” all of your father's men yell as they point their guns at both of you.
Amid the tension, your father emerged, his presence dripping with disdain. He walks toward your mom, and pulls her hair back, “You dare to take my future soldier away from me?!”
“She is our daughter! She is not going to be your soldier or your puppet!!!” your mother asserted defiantly.
Your father laughs and lets go of your mom's hair. It's more scary to see him laugh than to see him mad. He looks at the broker and callously shoots him in the chest and head. Your mother tightly holds you as she closes her eyes.
Your father yanks you from her embrace. He kicks your mom and she falls back.
Your dad turns to you and smiles. “Y/N, you know what happens when someone betrays me?”
You look at your mom, struggling to rise. You see your dad pointing his gun at her from your peripheral view. Fear rooted you in place, rendering you speechless.
“Look carefully because this is what we do to anyone who betrays us and our nation,” your father whispers.
His gun still pointing at your mom who is trying to sit upright, grimacing in pain.
"Goodbye my dear," Your dad says before shooting right in the middle of her forehead as you watch horrified.
----
Present
"Why? What happened to her?" Jungkook asks, his curiosity mingling with a tinge of sadness.
Crafting a fake narrative, you explain, "She was in a car accident."
"I am so sorry to hear that," Jungkook expresses genuine sympathy.
"Where is your father now?" he inquires.
Your expression becomes stern, and Jungkook notices the subtle shift, wondering if it's a sensitive topic for you.
"He is in New Zealand. He's the reason why you can't access any of my records. He was a high-ranking figure and is now venturing into politics, and doing his best to meticulously erase his past, including mine," you fabricate a tale and hope that Jungkook will believe your lie.
After seeing you opening up, Jungkook decides to tell you his truth.
"Y/n, I'm an agent. I work for the government. It's second nature for me to be suspicious of everyone. I didn't want to do this to you, but..."
Jungkook moves closer, gently taking your hand. "I'm so sorry. I had no idea about any of this. I apologize for delving into your background. I crossed the line... I shouldn't have done that."
Jungkook looks genuinely remorseful, "Would you be able to forgive me, Y/N?"
A surge of emotions compels you. You feel happy that Jungkook believed your lie but also you feel guilty and scared.
What if he finds out the real you? What would he do when he finds out that you are the one who killed Agent Suga, someone so close to him. Would he still look at you with those eyes? or would it change to something you have never seen?
But you know they say to not worry about something that hasn't happened yet. So you move closer to bridge the remaining space between you and Jungkook and you pull him into a kiss.
Time seems to momentarily slow as your lips meet, it's like a magnetic force pulling you together. Jungkook responds seamlessly, his touch on your cheek as gentle as a caress of a whisper. His fingers trace the contours of your skin. The warmth of his touch sends a shiver down your spine, igniting a fire within.
The kiss evolves into a dance of passion and the passionate exchange deepens as he slides his tongue into yours.
The outside world fades away for both of you, leaving only the echo of your heartbeats in the intimate space you've created.
As you break the kiss, it's like the air crackles with newfound energy and you see Jungkook looking at you differently, his eyes hold a depth of emotion that mirrors your own.
---
Meantime in North Korea, Major Kim Seokjin holds an urgent meeting since things are not going as planned.
His trusted comrade Jimin convened with fellow operatives, engrossed in crafting a meticulous strategy for their impending mission.
The objective was clear - acquire the precise coordinates of South Korean soldiers and their submarine for a stealthy underwater assault.
"They are waiting for us in the air and we will hit them underwater," Seokjin asserts, prompting a nod of agreement from others.
"Unfortunately, our agents haven't managed to extract that critical information," Your dad remarks, fixing a scrutinizing gaze on Seokjin.
Frustrated, Seokjin looks at Jimin, "are you sure Jungkook has that information?"
Jimin affirms, "Certainly, Major. During Agent Suga's captivity, he admitted that Jungkook exclusively possesses the intel due to his role in the intelligence department."
Frustration etched across your dad's face, he queries, "How much longer before Namjoon and Y/N return? Time is of the essence, and our leaders are growing impatient."
Jimin responds, "I've given them an additional three months."
Your dad scoffs, and comments before ending the meeting, "I hope you are making the right decision, Seokjin."
After the meeting, Seokjin had Jimin stay behind. As the others exited, Seokjin posed a more personal question to Jimin, "What's your take on this, Jimin?"
Confused, Jimin met Seokjin's gaze. The Major tosses a collection of photos onto the table, and Jimin picks one up. All the images are of you and Jungkook.
Pouring himself a whiskey, Seokjin contemplates aloud, "Look at her, do you really believe she's doing this for the mission or is there something else at play?"
Jimin scrutinizes the photograph, asserting, "Y/N is a dedicated agent, Major. She would never betray her nation."
Seokjin laughs loudly at his comment. He stops, his face reverting to something menace.
He takes a sip and says, "Jimin, to be honest, I couldn't care less if she betrays the nation."
He picks up the glass again, downing the whiskey.
He walks toward Jimin and looks into his eyes, "but if she betrays me, I'll strip away every layer of her skin until there's nothing left."

Bella Sposa | Jungkook x Reader | Part 6
Summary: When his soon-to-be wife goes missing, he will stop at nothing to find her. But he gets broiled in a world full of secrets where no one can be trusted.
Genre: agent au
Part 5 | Part 7
Present
The door creaks open, and Namjoon stands under the dim light, startling you.
“Why are you up this late?” you ask him as you close the door behind.
“I saw you,” Namjoon utters, his gaze penetrating. “And him.” A sudden worry floods your mind, wondering if he witnessed everything.
Namjoon looks at you, his expression unreadable as he states, “But I understand why you did that.”
His deliberate movements draw him closer to you, cautious steps echoing in the room. "Y/N, we all want things that we can’t have," he reflects, his eyes tinged with sadness.
“Jungkook is the opposite of Seokjin. Despite being a soldier and an agent, Jungkook has a caring personality. He looks fun to hang out with and probably gives you butterflies which Seokjin can never do in his life,” he chuckles, “even if you put a gun in front of his face, he won’t be able to do that.”
He raises his hand before you interrupt him, “Jungkook is new, fun, and exciting, and Seokjin is the guy your dad chose for you.”
Silence envelopes the room. Namjoon's words resonate with undeniable truth.
Your dad chose Seokjin for you or in fact, Seokjin chose you to be his future wife. When you came to South Korea, it was the first time you experienced freedom, away from the constant surveillance and control.
So when Jungkook asked you to be his girlfriend, it felt both foreign and exhilarating. His confession plunged you into uncharted territory, a fairytale moment that felt surreal.
You were intrigued. The intrigue that stirred within you wasn't merely about romantic interest; it was a curiosity sparked by the novelty of being seen and desired.
No one had ever approached you with such vulnerability before. You couldn’t believe someone was asking you. Your dad never asked you if you wanted to become an agent nor did he ever ask you if it was okay to separate you from your mother. Matter of fact, your dad didn’t even bother asking if you wanted to marry; he always spoke for you.
Namjoon's voice, like a guiding force, tugged you back to the harsh reality, “You have three months, and then we are packing bags to go back home.” Namjoon says as he hands you a mobile phone.
Confused, you ask him to explain again.
Namjoon sighs and continues, "Seokjin told me that it was getting hard for the other agents to penetrate South Korean intel, so he wants us to delve deeper and eventually install a listening device on Jungkook's phone,"
“So he is letting us stay here for 3 months more?”
Namjoon nods and slowly unpacks the bag that he packed to leave this place.
Standing beside him, you can't help but voice the confusion that lingers in your mind. "Why didn’t you report what you just saw to him then?"
Namjoon, amidst the unpacking, halts his movements. "I am doing you a favor," he declares.
You hold his arm, and Namjoon lifts his eyebrow, “you are staying here?”
Namjoon has never stayed in this apartment and always preferred to stay at the apartment across from the floral shop. He couldn’t sleep in this place after what he had done to Hani and the grandma.
Namjoon gives you a half smile and nods as he continues to unpack. You know better not to bother him since the topic is too sensitive for him.
Still standing next to him, you ask, “so what do you mean by ‘doing me a favor’?”
Namjoon stops and looks at you and starts to explain what ‘doing a favor’ is like he is explaining things to a 5-year-old.
Your face shifts into pure annoyance, and you scowl back at him. Namjoon silences himself while giving you a lopsided grin.
"I am giving you options," he utters, leading his way to the kitchen, "just like you gave me 3 years ago.”
You follow him and scoff, "so you're telling me to either run away with him or forget him?" you retort.
Namjoon winks at you, his lack of seriousness baffling you.
“Just enjoy three months and get close to him so that you can put this” he throws the box with a listening device, “into his phone so that Seokjin doesn’t get suspicious.”
You just stare at the box while thinking. Namjoon leaves you alone and goes to the living room with a beer in his hand.
“Namjoon,” you follow him, “and what happens if I end up liking Jungkook and decide to run away with him?”
Namjoon stops fiddling with the remote control, his face morphing into something unreadable.
“Y/N, I told you not to get wooed during this mission," he cautions. Despite his rationality, he acknowledges the human heart's pull.
"My brain tells me it’s a really stupid idea to run away with him," he sighs, recognizing the complexities, "because your dad and Seokjin are going to find you no matter what."
Reading your discouraged expression, he continues, “But you know what my heart tells,” capturing your attention.
Still clutching the box, you look up as he speaks, “If you end up liking him more, then you should run away with him and live your life. "
He looks ahead, fiddling with the remote control, and speaks, "listen to your heart, y/n. Our lives are short anyway."
—-
After a tough and challenging mission abroad, Taehyung finally gets a few days off to rest. He instantly goes to his apartment excitedly. Taehyung goes directly to his bedroom and changes into his pajamas and climbs into his bed.
However, the peace he anticipated takes an unexpected turn as Jungkook bursts, "Taehyung, how does-" Before Jungkook can finish his sentence, Taehyung yells as loudly as possible when he sees Jungkook with two jackets in his hand.
Taehyung tries to calm his pounding heart while Jungkook has an innocent confused look on his face.
“What are you doing here? I almost died because of you,” Taehyung exclaims, a mix of theatrical distress and genuine annoyance.
Jungkook, without caring, directly asks, “Which one looks better?” He shows his two jackets, “this one? Or this one?”
Taehyung chuckles, “when did you start caring about outfits?” He freezes, struck by a horrifying realization. “Don’t tell me,” he says with the desperate hope of a man clinging to the last cookie in the jar, “did she say yes?”
Jungkook blushes and shyly nods, “she just sent me a text after and asked me to go on a date with her again,” he walks near Taehyung’s bed, “so I want to look good.”
Taehyung smiles proudly, “this one,” as he points to the black jacket on Jungkook’s right hand.
The joy is short-lived and Taehyung sighs, "now get lost."
After some time, the light is turned on again, and Taehyung wakes up, “is it already morning?”
Jungkook holds up the shoes in front of him, completely straight-faced, “how about this one? Does this shoe go well with the jacket you picked?”
Taehyung couldn’t believe his audacity and tiredly pointed at the black shoes.
Jungkook excitedly hops up the bed and goes out of his room without turning off the light.
Annoyed, Taehyung calls Jungkook loudly to turn off the light.
The next morning, Taehyung anticipating a peaceful start to his day, emerges from his sanctuary only to be greeted by a disheveled living room.
His eyes widen in disbelief, and a tear almost escapes when he discovers Jungkook, the overnight squatter, sleeping carelessly on his designer couch with piles of clothes and shoes scattered on the floor.
-----
Meanwhile, Namjoon opens the shop while you prepare to go on your second date with Jungkook.
You go down to the floral shop and see Namjoon setting up, “Namjoon, today I will try to do my best to plug-“
"Just don’t do anything today," he interrupts, focused on his task. His gaze lifts momentarily to meet yours, "just enjoy."
Before you can respond, a knock echoes, and Jungkook stands at the door, waving at you. A grin spreads across your face in response.
In the car, Jungkook lays out the itinerary for the day. An amusement park visit, followed by a dinner reservation, and a special fireworks show. His enthusiasm is contagious, and you can't help but get caught up in the excitement.
As you both step out of the car, Jungkook shyly reaches for your hand, giving you a subtle yet electrifying connection.
Jungkok shyness fades and he quickly pulls you into a store selling cute headbands.
His grip on your hand is firm, but your attention is captured by his childlike fascination with the headbands.
"How about this one?" Jungkook suggests, holding up a Mickey and Minnie Mouse headband.
He adorns both of you, and his smile tells you that he finds you utterly adorable in a Minnie Mouse headband.
"Do I look weird?" you ask, self-conscious under his gaze. "I am putting this on for the first time," you confess, adjusting the headband.
"Why? You didn’t go to an amusement park when you were young?" Jungkook's curiosity prompts a momentary pause in your actions, a fleeting shadow crossing your face.
You smile, "I never got to go around much… because we weren’t… in a good situation."
Jungkook, sensing your hesitation, decides not to pry further. He pays for the headbands, and the day continues its rollercoaster of emotions.
On the Viking ship, Jungkook revels in the thrill, while you grip the safety bar, terrified.
His smile at your panicked screams only intensifies, and you can't help but quip about the contrasting training of North and South Korean soldiers, “indeed South Korean soldiers are trained differently.”
The next ride is a dizzying spin, and your shock is palpable. In the line, Jungkook holds your hand, offering comfort. "If you don't want to ride, it's okay. We can go somewhere else."
"No, it looks fun. Let’s just ride it."
Exhausted, you sigh on a bench while Jungkook's enthusiasm remains unbridled. He suggests you both go inside a haunted house, but you decline, "I might hit them if they scare me."
"Uhmmm," Jungkook ponders, "how about the Ferris wheel?"
"Sounds good," you exclaim.
As the Ferris wheel ascends, Jungkook admires the view but his attention shifts from the external beauty to something closer to him—your face.
He finds you admiring the view just like him, but your expression, a mix of wonder and melancholy catches his attention.
Jungkook, caught in this delicate interplay of emotions, wonders if it's the right time to talk to you about your background.
He understands the boundaries that relationships tread upon and the respect owed to the personal space of the other. Still, he did a background check on you without letting you know. He couldn't help it.
But he couldn't find anything on you except info regarding your recent visit.
That messed him up. Because as far as he knows—either your information is fiercely guarded, suggesting a status akin to that of a diplomat or a high-profile figure, or, you are someone who is not welcomed in his country— a spy.
“Y/N,” he calls your name. You notice the shift in his tone and immediately raise your guard while feigning a smile.
Despite the facade of a smile, there's a glint of wariness in your eyes as you brace yourself for what comes next.
"I need to ask you something," he states, looking at you. His breath hangs in the air, "Who are you?"

Happy New Year || Taehyung x Reader
Summary: They say if your New Year's wish is desperate enough, the Golden Dragon will make it come true.
Genre: supernatural au
A/N: Happy New Year everyone. This is just a New Year special story. I am not sure if I want to continue or make this a series?
There is a folklore legend your grandma used to tell you when you were young. Every night, before sleeping, she spun a tale about a Golden Dragon.
"Listen carefully, my dear," she'd say, "there's a Golden Dragon that appears at midnight on New Year's Day. It has the power to grant wishes, but only if your heart's plea is desperate enough."
Grandma used to say that the mighty dragon represents both good and bad. "Fearsome and destructive, yet it has a golden heart," your grandma would emphasize.
"If you make a desperate wish on New Year's Day, the Golden Dragon will listen and grant it if he likes it."
---
Now, at 25, your friends or coworkers have never heard of that folklore. You sometimes wonder if your grandma made the whole story up.
"Dragons granting wishes? Sounds like something out of a fantasy novel," your friend chuckles.
For New Year's Eve, your friend proposes something different from the usual festivities, opting for a vibrant club in the heart of Gangnam. "Guys, we have to ring in the new year differently this time."
The whole crowd inside the club counts the countdown together. Cheers and jubilant noises fill the air, accompanied by embraces and exclamations of "Happy New Year" that reverberate through the crowd.
After the countdown, the atmosphere is electric, and you and your friends immerse yourselves in the celebration, mingling with others.
Suddenly, a seemingly harmless conversation with a guy takes a dark turn. Unnoticed by you and your blissfully unaware friends, he surreptitiously adds something sinister to your drink.
In a gradual, insidious fashion, the effects of the tampered drink begin to take hold, leaving you progressively lightheaded.
Deciding to excuse yourself, you inform your friends, "I'm going to the bathroom."
Instantly concerned, your friends offer to accompany you, but the creepy guy's friends intervene, blocking their path and engaging your friends in a dance to stop them from following you.
The creepy guy follows you instead. Grabbing your elbow, he takes you somewhere else instead of the bathroom.
"Where are we going?" you ask, your voice barely audible
Without responding, the imposing figure leads you into a dimly lit alley and forcefully pushes you against the cold brick wall.
"I've been waiting for this," he declares, removing your jacket with a menacing intent.
Despite your attempts to resist, your body seems unresponsive to your commands.
Helplessly, you find yourself thrown to the ground. "Don't resist, sweetheart," he warns, positioning himself above you.
Feeling a mixture of revulsion and powerlessness, you lie prone on the pavement. Tears well up in your eyes as his invasive actions escalate, leaving you violated and trapped in a distressing moment.
You look up at the sky and see a full moon. Your grandma's voice echoes, "Y/N if you make a wish during the New Year, the Golden Dragon will make it come true."
So, you close your eyes and desperately make a wish to save yourself from this situation. "Please, anyone.. if you are there... please save me."
Meantime, Taehyung, the Golden Dragon, sits on top of Namsan Tower with a beer in his hand, watching Seoul City.
The resonance of countless wishes fills the air, a symphony of hopeful voices seeking the Golden Dragon's benevolent gaze.
Amidst the myriad desires, one wish pierces through, echoing with a desperation that captures Taehyung's unwavering attention.
"Please, save me." He hears your plea. His keen eyes, reflecting the city's vibrant lights, scan the crowd until they settle on you, in the dimly lit alley, "I will grant your wish tonight," he declares.
With a powerful surge of his majestic wings, Taehyung discards the beer and descends from the heights of Namsan Tower.
Landing amidst the shadows, he witnesses the abhorrent scene – the creepy assailant, a mere mortal, taking advantage of your vulnerability.
Swift as the night wind, Taehyung intervenes, forcefully removing the assailant from your trembling form.
His golden eyes soften as he holds you. He takes off his coat and drapes it around your shivering shoulders.
The creepy guy, still catching his breath, rises and pulls out a knife in a desperate attempt. "Who the fuck are you?" he gruffly demands, launching himself toward Taehyung.
Taehyung dismissively scoffs at the creepy guy's feeble attack. With a mere flick of his hand, he effortlessly hurls the creepy guy, causing him to tumble to the ground once more. This time, he remains down.
Turning his attention back to you, Taehyung observes your shaken state. Though in shock, he is here to fulfill your unspoken plea – to save you.
"Now," he gently prompts, "what would you have me do with this mortal?"
Your terrified gaze meets his. Your erratic breath is the only sound as Taehyung patiently awaits your response.
"Who are you?" you inquire after a moment, finally regaining composure.
His golden eyes gleam, and he locks his gaze with yours, bringing his face closer to yours.
"I am Taehyung, the Golden Dragon. You summoned me, didn't you?"

Bella Sposa | Jungkook x Reader | Part 5
Summary: When his soon-to-be wife goes missing, he will stop at nothing to find her. But he gets broiled in a world full of secrets where no one can be trusted.
Genre: agent au
Part 4 | Part 6
Namjoon stood outside the floral shop, meticulously observing Grandma and a swarm of customers. Major Kim Seokjin's instructions echoed in his mind, urging him to establish a credible background before embarking on their most crucial mission.
His task was to be a college student from Switzerland, adopting the new name RM. Namjoon got an apartment right across from the shop and a short distance away from Jungkook’s house. His mission was also to observe Jungkook and find his hideout and weaknesses.
“Welcome in,” Namjoon’s eyes darted up at the elderly woman, immediately keeping his guard up.
He smiles at her and walks inside. “Are you new to this neighborhood?” Grandma asks as she follows him. Namjoon nods, and she hands him a basket, asking him to look around.
As he browses the floral shop, he realizes that building a great relationship with Grandma is crucial since Seokjin told him that Agent Jungkook is a frequent customer at her shop.
He grabs a couple of flowers without looking and walks to the counter. Noticing Grandma struggling with some boxes, he decides to help her.
“Thank you, young man,” Grandma pats him on the back as he forces a smile.
“I am RM, I am from Switzerland” Namjoon awkwardly introduces himself, trying his best to hide his North Korean accent.
As they chat, Grandma suggests that he join some community events to get to know people in the neighborhood. Despite wanting to refuse, Namjoon knows that this is a way to build a relationship and be less suspicious.
“Grandma, I am going to college!” a young lady walks towards them, hurriedly shoving her wallet in her backpack. She notices Namjoon and apologizes, “I didn’t know you had a customer.”
“Hani, wait… meet RM. He just came from Switzerland to study here,” Grandma holds her granddaughter’s arm to introduce Hani to Namjoon so that they can be friends.
Hani takes a look at his face while trying to get herself out of her grandma’s grip.
Hani, almost late, bows and yells, ‘It's so nice to meet you, RM,’ as she runs away.
“I am sorry for her behavior,” Grandma makes an apologetic face and explains to him that Hani is usually not like. Namjoon smiles and tells her not to worry, “I think I will be coming here often.”
At home, Namjoon receives a phone call on his secured 2G phone. “How’s everything going?” Seokjin asks over the phone.
Namjoon explains the situation and mentions Grandma and her grandchild. Seokjin tells him to observe them and Agent Jungkook and report to him every night through a secured message.
Namjoon sighs and collapses on his bed after the call, forgetting that his classes start tomorrow. He still hasn’t familiarized himself with this country’s college system so he decides to get up to do research.
---
“RM, right?” Namjoon looks up at her and recognizes Hani from the store.
Namjoon nods and introduces himself, and she does the same.
“I didn’t know you go to this college as well. How do you like it so far?”
Namjoon tells her that everything is pretty new to him since he came from another country and might need a little time to adjust.
“Did you make any friends?” Hani asks as they walk to the cafe.
He utters, “Not yet,” which makes Hani stop in her tracks. She turns to him and holds out her hand, “Well then, I am glad to be your first friend in this foreign land.”
---
It’s been almost a year, and Namjoon and Hani are getting along so well. Both of them spend a lot of time with each other. They have the same classes as planned and they spend most of their time together.
Namjoon initially started with a facade, but as he spent more time with Hani, the wall he put up so high slowly began to tear down. He was himself whenever he was with her, and he wondered if she felt the same as well.
He is 100% sure that he developed feelings for her but he denies it and tries to tell himself that this is all because he is such a good actor.
Nonetheless, he did a good job observing Agent Jungkook and reported every night to Major Seokjin.
--
One day, Namjoon sees you standing in front of the college entrance as he walks together with Hani.
He excuses himself and makes up a lie. As he sees Hani leaving the college, he walks toward you, “What are you doing here?”
“Hello Namjoon… Ah RM, how are you?”
Namjoon yanks your arm and drags you somewhere in the alley, “Let’s go to a quieter place.”
“You are seriously looking for a fight,” you push his hand out from your arm, “Do that one more time, and I won’t bother to kill you here.”
Ignoring your threat, Namjoon presses, “Why are you here? Did Seokjin send you on a mission?," he sighs, “Don’t tell me he sent you here to replace me.”
You glare, correcting him, “First of all, it’s Major Kim Seokjin. If you ever call him without his title, you will not see the sunrise again."
“Second, I am not here to take over. I was sent to observe you,” you look around to make sure no one is listening or watching, “I came here a few weeks after you settled here. It’s not because the Major doesn't trust you,” you look at his doubtful eyes, “It’s because he doesn’t want his agents to be swayed by anyone else.”
You both look at each other for a moment. Namjoon, still puzzled, demands, “Then why are you here? In front of me? Because the observer's job is to just watch from afar.”
“I am here to do you a favor,” you assert. Namjoon scoffs, skepticism etched on his face.
Namjoon motions you to continue, “Major Kim Seokjin will send you a message to kill Hani and her grandma so that you can take over the floral shop.”
It’s like time stopped for a moment for Namjoon. He couldn’t believe what he was hearing, but then he always knew deep down that one day Hani and Grandma would be killed but he didn’t expect him to be the killer.
Namjoon looked like he was fighting his tears, and you looked at him apologetically, “So I am here to give you a chance.”
A line appeared between his brows as he paid close attention to what you were about to say.
“You have two options now Namjoon,” you explain. “Obey the Major and you'll be a hero, or run away with her."
Namjoon smirks, suspicious, “And what did I do to deserve this pleasure?”
“Because you helped my mom,” you confess.
Namjoon, surprised, wonders how you know. You elaborate, “I heard you gave my mom a proper funeral. I am forever grateful.”
Namjoon looks at you, “I didn’t help your mom because of you. I helped her because she helped my family when my dad passed away."
You close the gap, whispering, “So go and start a new life with Hani. I have been observing you for almost a year, and I can tell that you love her, and she has feelings for you too.”
You shake Namjoon’s arm as he doesn’t utter any words, “Trust me Namjoon, you will forever regret this if you don’t run now.”
Namjoon pushes you back, frustrated, he raises his voice, “Where would I go? Seokjin will be up in my butt and will do ANYTHING to find me and her.”
Namjoon’s eyes are now filled with tears, so close to dropping, “I will always be living with the fear that someday a group of men will come and kill me and her in a second. He wouldn’t let me go until I am dead."
You try to interrupt but Namjoon continues, “What about my mom? My sister? They will be executed or sent to the prison camp because of my choice!”
You don’t appreciate the tone of his voice but understand what he is going through and decide to let go.
“I will let you think about this. I hope you make a good decision.”
----
Days later, Namjoon appears at your hideout, battered and armed.
His face little bloody and a gun in his hand. You quickly bring him inside, "you showed up here like this? Did anyone follow you?"
Namjoon seems detached, responding in a monotone, "It's fucking 1 am right now, there is no soul out there."
In response to his disheveled appearance, you toss some wet wipes his way. "At least clean yourself. Who did you fight with?" you implore.
Namjoon stands before you bloodied and worn, holding a gun outstretched towards you.
"I killed them both," he states matter-of-factly, the weight of his actions echoing in his voice.
You, still holding the gun he handed you, are taken aback by the revelation. "Why?" you ask, bewildered.
"Some of our men are cleaning up the mess I made." He continues.
He walks toward your shocked body and hands you the gun, "Now, I want you to kill me."
The atmosphere in the room becomes heavy as Namjoon's words hang in the air. You stare at him, wide-eyed and speechless, processing the gravity of the situation. The gun in your hands feels cold and unfamiliar.
"Why would I kill you?" you finally manage to ask, your voice barely above a whisper.
Namjoon's eyes lock onto yours, unyielding and intense.
"Because I might kill Seokjin's soon-to-be wife out of revenge." He confesses, his voice, a low and strained whisper.
Namjoon maintains a steady gaze, his eyes searching yours for a reaction. The seconds tick by, heavy with unspoken tension.

Bella Sposa | Jungkook x Reader | Part 4
Summary: When his soon-to-be wife goes missing, he will stop at nothing to find her. But he gets broiled in a world full of secrets where no one can be trusted.
Part 3 | Part 5
Past
At the shooting range, you are currently practicing your aim and have noise-canceling headphones on as you fire your last shot.
Unknown to you, your dad and trainer are watching you from behind the glass.
“Marshal, she is doing well for a 14-year-old. Y/N skills are worthy of praise,” the trainer informs your dad.
But your dad only stares at you intensely.
Suddenly, he goes inside the room and reaches behind you. He flicks the gun out of your hand, grabs you by the neck, and topples you onto the ground.
It happened so quick, that you didn't have time to react at all.
Feeling hurt and angry, you throw off your headphones and look up to glare at your dad.
“Marshal…” the trainer enters the room, shocked. You are still on the ground, looking exhausted and tired.
Your dad's face changed to something soft, you hardly ever remember seeing him with that expression.
He holds out his hand to you, but all you do is scoff at him.
His face reverts back to his normal self and he grabs your arm and yanks you to your feet.
Staring right into your eyes, he says ominously, “one mistake and your dead body is lying on the ground, Y/N."
Your dad turns to the trainer, “I don’t want someone worthy of praise. I want someone who is not going to die in the field.”
Present
All your life, you were trained in almost everything - from handling weapons to hiding your tracks to killing a person in 50 different ways.
So when you end up sitting in a couple seats with Jungkook at a movie theater, you don't know how to act in this situation. This wasn't in the training manual.
It's not like you have never been with a man. Almost all of the trainees were men. You trained with them, you fought with them, but you were never close to any men like this.
Ever since you passed the training and were assigned agent status, your dad declared Major Kim Seokjin as your future husband. The man that you have only met during formal events. You weren't even close like this with your so-called future husband.
Mindlessly, you start eating popcorn. While reaching for popcorn again, you feel Jungkook's hand.
You hear Jungkook mumbling "sorry" and you see him smiling. You smile back at him, not knowing how to act 'normal' in this scenario.
Throughout the movie, Jungkook was getting all up in your personal space. His broad shoulders touch yours frequently and sometimes he leans in too close to whisper in your ears to pass some comments on the film.
You were a blushing mess. You would like to think that it's not because you are attracted to him but because you were in such a heated movie theater.
At this point, you are not even focusing on the movie. During the interval, Jungkook reaches across to fix your seat.
"I saw you struggling," Jungkook looks at you, "is it good now?" he asks, bringing his face within inches of yours.
You almost stop breathing. You just nod at him. How is he so normal?
“Is he doing this on purpose?" you think to yourself, “Are South Korean agents trained on how to act in such situations?”
Walking out of the theater, Jungkook keeps talking about the plot twist. “Did you enjoy the movie? I was so impressed by the plot,” Jungkook exclaims.
You simply nod since you really didn't focus on the movie like him. But you do your best to show your excitement.
As you both sit inside the car, your phone dings, alerting you about the texts Namjoon sent.
Your face hardens as you read the text, and Jungkook seems to notice it, “Is everything alright?”
You get alarmed but quickly fake a smile at him, “No, it’s just my brother having issues with the shop.”
Jungkook gives you a quick glance before driving, "Oh, I thought you closed the shop today?"
Y/N chuckles to hide her nervousness. She has to be careful with her words. After all, Jungkook is also an agent.
"Yes, we closed the shop but Namjoon is working on some maintenance and he is already struggling with it." You reply back calmly.
You read all the texts, doing your best to not react to each one of them. Namjoon informed you that he couldn't find anything on Jungkook's desktop or laptop, he left it at his home. Namjoon also mentions how Jungkook is currently working a desk job so he doesn't have any current info.
Closing your phone, you decide to ask Jungkook about his life and his work, hoping you can get some info.
Jungkook contemplates whether to tell you the truth or not because he wants you to be in his life but also worried that you might not like his job.
“I work for the government,” Jungkook answers simply, his eyes still facing the road.
You are taken aback because you thought he was probably going to say that he is a journalist, “Oh, the neighbors told me that you were a travel journalist?”
Jungkook glances at you quickly before looking ahead, “I have a situation where I can’t disclose my work, so I told them that sweet lie, but I work for the government.”
Jungkook can see you nodding your head from his peripheral view, and you move on to another subject and ask about his hobbies.
After having a conversation throughout the ride, you arrive in front of your shop. Jungkook stops his car and gets out to walk you to the door.
You wave him goodbye and thank him for the date. He calls your name, “You might be wondering why I am lying to other people about my job, but-”
"Jungkook it's okay," you interrupt him.
“No, I want to at least be honest with you,” he confesses, “I don’t want to hide anything from you,” he walks towards you, closing the gap.
“Y/N, I know it’s soon..uh.. But I am starting to like you and I don’t want to start this relationship in a lie.”
He looks down, gathers some courage, and looks back at you, “I really enjoy spending time with you. I know I might be rushing," he gulps, "but would you be my girlfriend, Y/N?”
“Oh no!” you think to yourself. It wasn’t supposed to be like this. You didn't expect him to be serious.
This was just supposed to be like a fling. You were just supposed to distract him while Namjoon gathers info so your troops back home can attack their troops at the border.
Namjoon also informed you a few minutes ago that Seokjin placed other spies who can find info from South Korean agents who are on the field and not working desk jobs like Jungkook.
And that both Namjoon and you are leaving in a few days and you don't need to continue this act anymore.
But why are you contemplating? Why you are still standing in front of him, watching him confess to you?
You don't see it. But Namjoon has been watching you ever since he saw Jungkook's car.
"What is she doing?" Namjoon talks to himself, as he watches you.
You don't know why but your body moved before your mind could think. You close the gap even more and kiss him.
Jungkook smiles and kisses you back. His one hand, holding your waist tightly while the other hand is softly caressing your cheek.
Namjoon watches as you kiss Jungkook, "oh we are so dead."

Genre: agent au
Part 2 | Part 4
HER STORY
Snow falls heavily while the moon shines brightly.
Amidst the silent forest, the rhythmic sounds of your breath and heartbeat echo. You navigate the trees with agility, a gun in your hand and a bow strapped to your shoulders.
Firing your gun at mannequins, and hitting bullseyes with the arrows, finally finishing your exhausting training routine.
As you dust off the snow from your shoes, you feel a sudden presence behind you.
You turn to look behind, just to find a gun pointed at your face, "You're dead. I just killed you."
With swift precision, you knock away the gun and retaliate with a punch, but your opponent, your dad, dodges your punch and throws you to the ground.
As you breathe harshly, you hear your dad yelling at you. "What did I tell you, Y/N? NEVER EVER lower your guard!"
You are struggling to stand, and your dad pushes you down again. He wraps his arm around your neck, "I can kill you now", threatening to strike.
After a few seconds of you struggling to get out of his hold, he finally releases you, "drag yourself back; you need more practice."
You head back to the training center, limping and panting. You see Namjoon sitting in the lobby all decked up for training.
"Oh goodness, Y/N baby you okay?" He asks, feigning concern.
You walk right past him, ignoring his taunt but he continues to mock you, "Do you need help, sweetie?"
Over the years, you have dedicated yourself to daily training with your father and his comrades to become a competent North Korean agent.
Recruited by your father, the Marshal of the North Korean force, at the age of 12, you mostly trained alongside Namjoon and Jimin.
But these excruciating 7 years of training have taught you that their camaraderie is always going to be overshadowed by the survival instinct. No one is to be trusted but yourself.
"Comrade, gather around!" Your dad, calls everyone into formation.
"Tomorrow, all of you will be assigned to the mission. We will send you to the place where you will fight with the South bastards and make sure to be successful!"
---
During the mission, you are assigned to sniper duty and ordered to observe and shoot the enemy if spotted.
You see your team struggling and in a desperate situation, however, you are told to hold your position and not interfere.
Just as it seems your team had lost to the South Korean forces, you spot two soldiers fleeing. One is Agent Suga who was held hostage and the other one is Agent Jungkook, whom Jimin vows to kill with his bare hands.
You hear Jimin on the radio, "Agent Y/N, make sure to kill them all!"
Standing in a tower, you take your aim, successfully shooting Agent Suga right in the chest.
However, your attempt on Agent Jungkook fails, hitting him in the back instead.
"SHIT!" So you decide to take your aim again.
Suddenly you hear Jimin yelling, "Agent Y/N, abort! abort!abort!" They ordered you to abort the mission and retreat safely to the exit, as more South Korean troops were on their way.
Present Day
The next morning, you see Jungkook pass by the floral shop. You can tell he is here to talk about last night and you can see that it's probably awkward for him to bring up that event.
"Good morning Jungkook, you are up here so early", you greet him as you finish setting up the counter.
You walk towards him, "How can I help you?"
Jungkook awkwardly waves his hand and wishes you good morning.
Jungkook doesn't know where to start and tries to muster up his courage to bring up the topic but fails every time he looks at you, "Uh... um... uh... Last night... I am sorry... uh."
You quickly decide to clear out the misunderstanding, "It's okay, Jungkook. I forgive you. I was just taken back but-"
"Yah, where should I put this?" Namjoon casually walks towards you with a flower pot in his hand and freezes as he spots Jungkook.
Despite you telling him multiple times this morning, Namjoon still wanted to help you set up the shop. This is exactly the reason why you didn't want his help.
For a moment, no one talks, and it is pin-drop silence.
You put on a smile and introduce Namjoon as your older brother, "He came last night from New Zealand."
Jungkook bows to him and introduces himself, and Namjoon does the same. Jungkook looks at Namjoon closely and asks if they have ever met before.
Namjoon's face hardens. Obviously, they had met before, but he hoped that this agent wouldn't remember him in his new disguise.
"Ah... You must have been the neighbor that used to come here often when our grandma was here, right?"
Jungkook scratches his hair, trying to think if he ever saw Namjoon when he came to the store. Seeing both your and Namjoon’s confused looks, he nods his head, "Ah... I must have seen you here before."
Namjoon excuses himself and goes somewhere else.
"So... what are you doing this weekend?" Jungkook asks you, trying to do his best to maintain his composure.
---
After Jungkook leaves the shop, Namjoon comes to the counter, “So he finally asked you out?”
You walk towards him and you slam the movie tickets on the counter, “Movie date. Let's prepare.” and walk off to water the flowers.
Namjoon smirks, “Are you scared that he will kill you or what?”
You give Namjoon a glare, “Don’t you want to do your job?” and you lean a little closer to whisper, “we will be going out on the weekend. He told me his parents would be out of home on that day so-”
“So, you want me to go to his house?” Namjoon interrupts, “And find out what?”
You sigh and look at him with an 'are-you-serious' face, “Namjoon, are you f*cking kidding me right now?”
Namjoon laughs, “Chill, I am just playing with you.”
----
"So you asked her out?" Taehyung asks as they eat their food in the break room.
Jungkook nods with a smile. Taehyung asks if he can come to the date as well, just to see the woman Jungkook is so fond of but before he completes the sentence, Jungkook's deadly glare stops him completely.
Unable to focus at work at all, Jungkook is excited about their movie date.
Meanwhile, you and Namjoon are busy planning your next steps and how to get information from Jungkook’s desktop and personal devices.
"We have to do this right! This is the only time we have before we leave this country," you explain everything firmly to Namjoon so for once he can take your leadership seriously.
“I can’t mess this up, Namjoon. If anything goes wrong, our heads will be in their hands.”
"My head," Namjoon states, making you confused.
Namjoon looks at you, “You are Kim Seokjin’s fiancée after all.”

Bella Sposa | Jungkook x Reader | Part 2
Summary: When his soon-to-be wife goes missing, he will stop at nothing to find her. But he gets broiled in a world full of secrets where no one can be trusted.
Genre: agent au
Part 1 | Part 3 (upcoming)
Jungkook is engrossed in agent training alongside his friends Yoongi and Taehyung. The trio, hired together, shares a dorm room and a strong bond. The trainers subject them to rigorous training, encompassing shooting practice, hand-to-hand combat, and mental and psychological exercises. Despite the challenges, they all proficiently completed the tests.
As they lie on the floor after their training, Yoongi initiates a conversation about their future in the field. "Our lives will be different once we're out there," he says, also expressing concern about taking care of his sister and mother while away from home.
Taehyung, too, shares thoughts about his family but expresses gratitude for landing a well-paying job right after college.
Turning his head to Jungkook, Yoongi's expression suddenly changes, his face filling with bruises and blood. "Jungkook, take care of—"
Before Yoongi can finish the sentence, Jungkook's eyes snap open, finding himself covered in cold sweat.
Ever since he came home, he repeatedly dreams the same thing every night—good memories with Yoongi and abruptly transitioning to their last moment together.
In counseling, Jungkook's psychiatrist encourages him to open up, to release the burden of guilt. That evening, he aimlessly roams the neighborhood, stumbling upon Y/N closing her shop.
Running to her, he asks, "Is it too late for a flower?" he asks, his eyes holding a silent, hesitant longing.
Sensing something, you invite him inside, closing the store. "How was your day, Jungkook?" you ask, observing him.
Admiring the flowers, Jungkook replies, "It's okay... as usual." You feel like he is not comfortable about the topic so you decide not to pry further.
Jungkook, feeling the pangs of hunger, mentions, “But I am starving and couldn’t find anywhere to grab some food.”
You chuckle, “I was about to make some dinner, do you wanna join?” Y/N offers, and Jungkook eagerly nods.
As both of you make your way upstairs to your apartment, you tell him about your family history, "this building my grandma owns it. The first floor is the shop, and our living area is on the second floor."
A subtle shift in your expression goes unnoticed by Jungkook as he casually inquires about the mysterious third floor, "Oh, it's just a storage."
As you prepare dinner, you insist Jungkook roam freely, although he wants to help.
"Where are your parents?” Jungkook asks as he stares at the photo frame of her parents. You stop chopping the vegetables and turn back to answer, “They live abroad and last time we spoke, they were in New Zealand.”
Jungkook walks toward you and carefully asks more about your parents, which you expected. And you also don't mind at all and tell Jungkook that your parents were always working abroad since you were young so your grandma raised you, “I left to study abroad and came back after grandma passed away.”
Jungkook thanks you for the food and compliments on how delicious it was. You invite him for wine, and both of you lose track of time chatting about your lives.
"Are you okay? Did something happen today?" you gently ask him. Although he is happily chatting with you, he looks different and exhausted overall.
After not hearing anything back, you apologize for crossing the line and tell him that he doesn't have to answer if he doesn't feel comfortable.
Before you can say anything further, he swoops in for the kiss and quickly closes the distance. His kisses were warm on this cold night and you can taste the wine.
He kisses you long and slow, taking his sweet time. And you literally froze, your lips not moving and your eyes widen in shock.
Jungkook backs up and notices your surprised face and he also looks a little flustered.
He is looking at you softly and leans in to kiss you again but this time you are alert and you turn your head away, hoping he will get the message.
Sensing your discomfort Jungkook gets up and mumbles a quick goodnight.
After Jungkook gets flustered and hastily leaves your place, Namjoon opens the back door and strides towards the table.
"South Korean men are so easy," he remarks, settling across from you and pouring himself a glass of wine, "or is it the power of alcohol?"
You stand up and take the dirty dishes to the sink, "It's not quick to make someone fall in love, Namjoon."
Namjoon smiles at your statement. "Y/N, I think you are doing a pretty good job," he sips the wine. "You turned the so-called agent into a puppy. If this wasn't for the mission, I would've thought you like him too."
Ignoring his comment, you focus on washing the dishes and comment, "It's important to woo Jungkook for this mission."
Namjoon grabs the remaining plates and brings them to you.
"Y/N, I know it's extremely important to woo Jungkook for this mission," he wipes the clean plates and puts them back in the drawer. "But remember, do not get wooed yourself in this process."
You are seemingly unfazed and continue to clean the dishes but the gravity of Namjoon's cautionary advice hangs in the air.

Bella Sposa | Jungkook x Reader | Part 1
Summary: When his soon-to-be wife goes missing, he will stop at nothing to find her. But he gets broiled in a world full of secrets where no one can be trusted.
Genre: agent au
Prologue | Part 2
Jungkook slips into the abandoned house, a clandestine base for North Korean agents. He gestures discreetly to his men to take alternate routes, skillfully incapacitating guards and avoiding surveillance cameras. Inside a room, his eyes widen in surprise at the sight of children.
"Stay quiet," he whispers to them, motioning for his team to evacuate the children immediately. Despite the surprise, he motions them to remain silent, instructing his team to evacuate the children immediately. Pressing on, Jungkook and his troops advance to rescue hostages and a dear friend.
At the same time, tensions rise at the command center. Mr. Yoon, the chief of security, confronts NIS Chief Mr. Bang about the unsanctioned mission, his voice elevated in frustration.
"What are you talking about?" Mr. Yoon raises his voice, displeased to hear that NIS agents are operating without the President's approval. Mr. Bang stands firm, assuring Mr. Yoon that the mission will conclude successfully without compromising the nation's reputation.
"I will take responsibility for everything," Mr. Bang declares, unwavering in his commitment.
Simultaneously, Jungkook and his team move towards the hostages, engaging in tense confrontations to secure their release. Jungkook, accompanied by Taehyung, eventually reaches a room where Agent Suga is held captive. Bursting in, they swiftly eliminated the North Korean agents, freeing Suga.
As they made their way to a waiting helicopter, "What's going on?" Jungkook asks the staff at the altar, concerned about the delay.
The tension among the troops grows as they notice something is amiss.
The crack of a sniper's shot disrupted the mission. Amid the chaos, Jungkook and Suga collapsed to the ground.
In the aftermath, Mr. Bang stands beside Jungkook's hospital bed, urging him to rest. Handing him a file, he discusses a desk job closer to Jungkook's neighborhood.
"I am fine. I can be on the field," Jungkook insists, sitting upright despite the pain from his gunshot wound.
Mr. Bang gets annoyed, reminding Jungkook that his doctor wants him to take enough rest before returning to the field. "After all, you lost someone so special to you," Mr. Bang adds a somber note in his voice.
Jungkook's return home is met with a warm embrace from his mother, who notices his pain but receives no explanation. Concealing his true identity as a covert operative, he navigates questions about his well-being, attributing his fatigue to jet lag or hunger. His parents wonder aloud about the toll his frequent travels seem to be taking on him.
"Maybe he's just jet-lagged or hungry," Jungkook's dad suggests, noting his son's pale complexion and apparent lack of energy.
Jungkook sits at the dining table after washing up, doing his best to answer their questions about his recent visit to Grenada. He's thankful that Taehyung had given him a Grenada travel guidebook at the hospital, providing him with plausible details to share.
His mother, still concerned, asks, "Why are you always in pain after you travel?"
Jungkook forces a smile, "You know, it's the long flights and different time zones. Just part of the job."
As his parents chat excitedly about his return, Jungkook mentions that he doesn't have any upcoming travels planned for a while. His announcement brings a sense of relief to his parents, prompting them to decide to throw a dinner party to celebrate his return.
Despite the persistent ache in his body, Jungkook strolls through the town while running errands for his mom. A familiar sight draws him towards a flower shop he often visits, hoping for a brief respite from the weight on his shoulders.
As he enters, he is surprised to see a younger woman behind the counter, rather than the familiar old lady. The change is evident, yet there's an air of nostalgia that remains in the shop.
"Hi there. I used to come here often, and there was this sweet old lady who always helped me pick out flowers," Jungkook mentions, a tinge of sentimentality in his voice.
You look up from arranging flowers, a warm smile on your face. "Oh, that must have been my grandma. She used to love helping customers find the perfect blooms."
Jungkook's expression softens. "She was kind and had a great eye for flowers. I really appreciated her suggestions."
Your smile fades slightly, "Thank you. Unfortunately, my grandma passed away recently, and I've taken over the shop."
Jungkook's face reflects genuine sympathy. "I am sorry for your loss. She was such a great person.”
You simply nod and smile, “Thank you. Is there anything specific you're looking for today?"
"Just buying flowers for my parents whenever I could," Jungkook replies, his gaze wandering over the vibrant array of blooms.
As he selects flowers, you hand him a yellow rose with your shy smile. "It’s a symbol of friendship. Since I am new here, I am handing it out to all the neighbors. Here, I should give one to you as well."
Jungkook, charmed by her gesture, grins. He extends his hand for a shake, "Well, welcome to our neighborhood. My name is Jeon Jungkook."
You reciprocate the handshake, “Nice to meet you. I am Y/F/N."

Bella Sposa | Jungkook X Reader | Prologue
Summary: When his soon-to-be wife goes missing, he will stop at nothing to find her. But he gets broiled in a world full of secrets where no one can be trusted.
Genre: agent au
Part 1
A/N: Reposting old fanfic/ Revised
Jungkook stood at the altar, his heart pounding in his chest as he nervously awaited the arrival of his soon-to-be wife. The atmosphere was filled with anticipation and joy as the guests gathered to witness the union.
Meanwhile, in the waiting room, a woman sat on a chair surrounded by friends and family, capturing moments through photographs and engaging in cheerful conversations. Amid the joyous atmosphere, a sudden interruption echoed through the room – the shrill ring of a phone.
Startled, one of the bride's friends rushed to answer the call, only to be met with silence as the call abruptly ended. A few moments later, the phone rang again, repeating the cycle. Annoyed, the same friend attempted to answer the call once more, only to face another untimely disconnection.
Curiosity piqued, the bride inquired, "Who is it?" Her friend, unable to discern the caller ID, could only reveal that the screen displayed an ominous "unknown number."
As the tension in the room grew, a staff arrived to inform the bride that it was time to make her way down the aisle. Her friends exited the waiting room, leaving her alone to conduct a final mirror check. However, the intrusive phone continued its persistent ring. Trying to dismiss it, she hesitated, but the insistent ringing urged her to answer. Yet again, the call was prematurely cut off. Frustrated, she chose to ignore it, preparing to join the procession when her phone vibrated, signaling a new text message.
As her eyes scanned the unexpected message, a subtle widening of her eyes betrayed her surprise.
Meanwhile, at the altar, Jungkook's patience was tested as the minutes ticked by without the appearance of his bride. A sense of unease began to ripple through the guests, murmurs and whispers circulating as they sensed something awry. Breaking the anxious silence, a staff member rushed towards Jungkook.
"What's going on?" he questioned, concern etched on his face.
The staff member, trying to maintain composure, replied, "Your bride is missing. We couldn't find her anywhere."

Always be happier || Jungkook x Reader
Summary: Jungkook came to his ex’s wedding to seek closure or that’s what his members think he desperately needs.
I don’t even know why I am here. When I got the invitation, I thought she was crazy for a second because who in their right mind would invite their ex to their wedding?
I saw her mom and dad greeting guests outside the venue. She is probably in a waiting room somewhere with her bridesmaids. I just couldn’t bring myself to enter the venue. Why did I even listen to Seokjin hyung? He and the rest of the members convinced me to go to this wedding to seek closure because they still think I am not over her. Like seriously, we broke up like 3 years ago and I dated other people. What kind of closure do I even need?
“Fuck it,” I wished myself best of luck and entered the venue. Everyone stared at me because I was the only one wearing a formal suit with a cap and mask. If I remove it, obviously it will cause a scene and I don’t want to take the spotlight.
“Jungkook hyung?” I turned back and I saw her younger brother. It’s been so long since I haven’t seen him and damn he is getting taller and bigger.
Hyun?” I asked just to verify if it’s really her younger brother.
He hugged me tightly and said something like “nice to meet you”.
After greeting each other, he asked me a favor, “hyung, can you sing a congratulatory song. There was this guy who was supposed to show up but he got food poisoning and is in the ED. I highly doubt he’s gonna make it.”
“Sing a congratulatory song at my ex’s wedding”, I thought to myself. I don’t think it’s a good idea and I also don’t want them to know my identity.
“Hyung, I guarantee you don’t have to expose yourself,” Hyun stated as if he can read my mind.
“Please hyung, I am in charge of this duty and my family will kill me if I mess this up,” he continued to plead.
As far as I can remember Hyun was always known for his recklessness and was never taken seriously. So I know through this, he wants to show his family that he can be mature and responsible. I have always adored him for his boldness and honest feedback. I remember how he used to give feedback after listening to my songs without sugarcoating.
“I will do it,” with that he hugged me tightly again. I pushed him a little, “but under three conditions.”
Hyun composed himself, “tell me, I will grant all of them.”
“First, I am not going to remove my mask and cap and you wouldn’t introduce my name. Just tell them I am one of the friends or whatever. Second, no pictures or videos but the wedding videographer can film. Lastly, I will choose the song.”
“Done!” Hyun excitedly approves all the conditions, “hyung, I hope you keep your promise. I will meet you inside.”
I sat down way behind even though Hyun wanted me to come forward. I couldn’t join them at all. The officiator started the ceremony and it looked like it was a mix of traditional and western wedding just like how she wanted.
I noticed the theme and aesthetic of the wedding, it was exactly like how she wanted. I felt happy for her. She always mentioned how much she loves baby breath and wanted it in every table for her wedding. The officiator asked the groom to enter the venue. I turned to the door to see the lucky guy.
Jaehyun, Jung Jaehyun. Throughout our relationship, I have always been wary of him. The way he behaved with her and tried to be her “best friend” always irritated me for some reason. I wasn’t a jealous type but whenever she ran to him after arguing with me, I got more frustrated. I like to believe that he is one of the many reasons why she left me.
Jaehyun walked excitedly and thanked everyone as he walked down the aisle. The officiator now asks the bride and her dad to enter the venue. Before the bride enters, the band takes the stage and plays “Fly me to the moon”.
Two adorable flower girls enter, scattering the rose petals. And comes the equally adorable ring bearer boy walks in,clutching his ring pillow. As the children reach the altar, one of the groomsmen takes the ring from the boy.
The lights get even dimmer. The music stops and everyone in the audience is holding delicate lights on long stems and I did the same as well. They all stand and look to the back.
Y/N, who’s looking beautiful, stands next to her father, holding his arm. The music swells back up as she steps onto the aisle.
Then I realized why I was so nervous to be here. I didn’t want to see this. I didn’t want to see her happier with someone else. I stopped waving the lights and just focused on her.
Was she always this happy? Did she always smile like that? How can she move on just like that? I wondered what went wrong in our relationship… How did we end up like this?
——-
“Jungkook, are you leaving again?” Y/N whispered, “we just got here.”
I gathered my stuff and whispered back to her, “I know babe, but I have to go work on some songs. I told you I don’t have time to watch a movie.” I gave her a quick peck and left her in a movie theater alone.
We met again after 2 weeks. I was swamped with recording and dance practices and finally managed to see her. I went to our shared apartment and she cooked some dinner. It was delicious and I also longed for home cooked food.
“So how have you been? How’s work?” I asked her as we both sat down to eat.
She looked at me, surprised and with a little disappointment in her eyes,“Jungkook, I told you I left my job months ago and I am applying to school for my Masters.”
Shit. I thought to myself. After an awkward silence, I asked her about the movie,“oh I heard the movie was good, did you like it?”
She shook her head, “why? You didn’t like it?” I asked her again.
She sipped the red wine and ate a piece of meat, “I didn’t watch it.”
I wanted to ask her ‘why didn't she watch the movie?’ But I knew the answer so I didn’t bother to ask her because I feared that it would end up in an argument.
At least tonight, I don’t want us to argue or fight. I finally finished recording and filming our debut song and I wanted her to be the first one to know.
“Y/N, I have something to show to you,” I opened my phone and played the song to her. She listened to it quietly. I was nervous to say the least. Like her younger brother, Hyun, her feedback was also honest and I have always trusted her opinion.
So I wanted her to be impressed. I wanted to show her that the amount of time I spent on this song is worth it. I wanted her to feel proud of me.
But all I got was, “it’s good” and she went on eating her food.
“That’s it?” I chuckled and took my phone away.
“It’s good Jungkook, what else do you want me to say?”
“I don’t know Y/N,” I sipped the wine to calm myself, “I wanted to get some validation from you or can’t you be more supportive or show some excitement?”
She chuckled and that irritated me more, “supportive huh?” She sets her utensils down, “Jungkook, don’t talk to me about not being supportive. Who was the one who cooked you meals every time you were busy training? Who was there to help when you felt the lowest in your life? Jungkook, I gave you space and I tried my best to understand your situation. Even when you bailed out on our dates so many times… I did my best to understand your situation and was there for you. I didn’t even ask for much because I knew I can’t have all of you. You would always love your passion for music more than me and I loved that about you!”
She paused her words to take some deep breaths. Her tears falling down, she looked at me and my heart ached because all of her words were nothing but fact. She sat down, “but you know what…at some point, I realized that our relationship was just one-sided. My therapist told me that our relationship is not 50-50 and I have always felt that you never even cared about me.” False
“I gave you my heart, my time, my fucking soul but when I needed you the most, where were you? Jungkook, when my grandma died...where were you? Do you know how many birthdays and important events you have missed? Do you really think I wanted to go watch that freaking movie? I just wanted to do something together because I don’t even remember the last time we did anything together. Jungkook, I am done.”
‘What does she mean?’ I thought to myself, ‘Please don’t say it’.
She looks at me again. I am just sitting there with my head low, my eyes fixated on nothing. She scoffs, “I am done with you Jungkook. It’s over.” She said those words without any anger… just acceptance.
She stood up and I am still processing what just happened. She goes to our bedroom and brings a suitcase. My jaws were clenched the whole time. She glanced at me as I just stood there in silence. I didn’t know what to say or maybe I did but I knew it’s better to let her go than to hurt her even more.
After she left, I moved out of that apartment shortly and moved back to the dorm with the boys. I didn’t call her or go after her. She was right. I took her for granted and never cared about her. As a trainee, everyday was different for me. Things were always changing and the only one that didn’t change in my life was her. She was constant and she was there for me. As far as I know, I loved her. But like she said, I loved music more. I wanted to scream and tell her how much I love her and how grateful I am to be with her. But I know our relationship will end up in disaster anyway. Once I debut, it’s going to be worse. I won’t have time for her at all and always have to be wary of media and fans. I decided to convince myself that we were going to end sooner or later. So, I thought it is better to end now instead of dragging it and hurting her more.
It’s been like 3 months or so and I was busy preparing for our debut. I liked having something to do. If I wasn’t practicing our choreography then I was hitting the gym or playing games with my friends. Anything that will make me not think of her, I did it all.
“Damn boy, you want to be a hulk?” Namjoon asked me as he saw my half-naked body.
“Is this like a revenge body?” Jimin teases, causing everyone to laugh.
It was our debut day and everyone was anxious. We want to do well so we gave all off our energy to our first performance.
Jimin nudges me, “Jungkook, there is someone waiting for you,” and comes close to me and whispers, “Y/N.”
I walked out to the parking lot and saw her car. It’s been so long and I noticed the change in her appearance. She had a haircut, her long hair is now shoulder-length. She looks happy or happier than before. She looks at me and hands me the flower.
“Congratulations on your debut! You really worked hard for this. I watched your performance and you really belong on the stage.”
“Thank you” I told her as I took the flower.
“How have you been?” I asked her. I noticed her huge luggage sticking out in her trunk and a carry-on in her back seat, “are you going somewhere?”
She smiles, “I am going to London today. I got accepted to Oxford,” she tells me excitedly.
“Oh wow, I am so happy for you! Congratulations!”
A moment passes and I manage to gather all the courage I have and utter these words before it’s too late, “I am sorry Y/N. You are right.. I never saw how-“
“Jungkook, don’t worry about it,” she stops me. She caresses my hand, “just focus on your dream. Now that I think of it, it’s better we end this relationship. I don’t want you to sacrifice your dream for me. Also, I am leaving the country, how could it even work? You are so close to having everything you wanted. I want both of us to move on and live for our dreams.”
“What are you going to do?” I asked her, “you were interested in writing, are you going to Oxford for that?”
She smiles and her eyes light up as she talks about the program she got into and her internship she got with a well-known news company.
I am so happy for her. I am so happy to see her eyes light up again. I now realized the light wasn’t there when she was with me. I took that away from her and I can never forgive myself if I hold her back.
“I am always going to love you,” I said aloud. She stops talking and just slightly, I saw her eyes swell up but she was always better at hiding her tears, “I am always going to love you too.”
--—
“I love you,” she confesses and kisses Jaehyun. Everyone stands up, clapping and cheering loudly for the new couple.
The officiator grabs the mic and asks for a friend to come up to the stage to sing a congratulatory song for the newly-wedded couple.
Everyone in the audience hushes and glances around the room. Oh shit! That’s me
I fixed my cap and mask and walked toward the stage. Y/N and Jaehyun stood across me. I see her looking at Hyun, trying to ask him who I was but Hyun was man of his words and kept his mouth shut.
I grabbed the mic and did a little warm-up.
“Do you know him?” Jaehyun asks Y/N and she glances at him, “no, I don’t know him.”
~The long night is following you as it flows~
~time follows you and fades~
Y/N lets out a small gasp. She instantly recognizes the voice and the lyrics. It was a song Jungkook first started working as a trainee.
Jungkook only looks at Y/N as he sings the song beautifully. Y/N looks at him, frozen. It’s their first time seeing each other in like 3 years.
While singing, Jungkook thought to himself, “what would his life look like if he had fought harder for her? What would have happened if he loved her the way she wants to be loved? What would have happened if he stayed with her longer and did all the things she wanted to do?”
The song ends and Jungkook hands the mic back to the band. He looks at Hyun, who cannot believe Jungkook just sang a sad song at the wedding. Hyun doesn’t know if he made the right choice by inviting Jungkook to his sister’s wedding.
Jungkook glances at Y/N before stepping away from the stage. He heads for the exit as the officiator thanks him for the song. Just as he reaches the door, he turns and looks back at Y/N and Jaehyun. They are now smiling and everyone is gathering for pictures.
While taking pictures, Y/N looks at Jungkook’s direction and locks eyes with him. In that moment, Jungkook realizes what he had lost. He doesn’t know if he can truly ever get over her.
He waves his hands at her with a hint of tear in his eyes and for a fleeting second, he sees her subtly smile at him. Whether she was smiling because she got to see him again after a long time, or maybe she is thankful that he came and sang a song, or maybe it was to let him know that she remembers him and what they had. And he likes to believe it’s the latter one.
Jungkook walks out the door and sees a table where people are asking him to write a message for the newly-wedded couple before leaving.
He takes the pen and writes, “be happy… always be happier.”
