Overcoming Fears
Darth Vader x Reader
Chapter Eleven
-Hey guys, sorry for the wait lol, been swamped with school and stuff and a massive writers block on top of that. So anyway enjoy.
—————————————————————
Two days had passed, and you had finally received your assignments… or just when to be ready to leave for Hoth- It was a start. You and Perseus had planned to pack a weeks worth of uniforms into a very small duffel bag. No one knew how long you would be there- and really, neither did the Sith…
That Hoth Facility held the best Medics of the Galaxy. Besides the Tie Fighter accident, the Emperor had practically destroyed Lord Mira’s leg. Terra couldn’t help her, but they could.
Your boss decided to show up today, and made it his mission to aggravate you as much as he possibly could. You were tired almost all day. When you could finally leave you practically ran out of the office and to your room. Quickly showering and jumping into bed. It was hardly a few minutes before you were dead alseep. You knew you had to leave tomorrow and had to finish packing, but at this point you decided to figure it out later.
Only hours later you heard faint knocking from down the hall. Half asleep you listened to the knocking continue until the door opened. Relived the noise had been eliminated, you drifted back to sleep. Suddenly the door to your room slid open, the bright light of the hallway beamed into the room and onto your face. You groaned, rolling over towards the wall, attempting to hide from the light.
“Get up, we’re leaving.” A voice called demandingly from the doorway. You rolled back over, propping yourself up on your elbow, squinting towards the door at the figure leaning against it. “I said get up, and hurry.” Mira spoke as your eyes finally adjusted to the light. She was dressed more comfortably than normal. She had simple black robes instead of her chest plate. Only one of her sabers hung from her belt. Her cloak still hung over her arms, and white bandages wrapped tightly around her wounded leg.
“What’s going on?” You groaned, sliding out of bed.
“We are leaving for Hoth. There is a time difference and we are on a tight schedule. Lord Vader is already waiting on the ship.” She turned, pushing herself off the doorframe, “Get ready, I’m walking Perseus to the bay.” She took a step, her knee bending down to a kneel in response to the pain of her leg. She grasped the other side of the door frame, quickly pushing herself back up. “or maybe he’ll walk me-“ she mumbled unintelligibly, limping back down the hall.
You gathered the last of your things, stuffing them in your small bag. Mira arrived back to your room just when you had finished. She held onto the door frame just as always, keeping the pressure off of her leg. She had been using the force to walk to make sure she didn’t injure herself further.
“Okay,” you said, slinging your bag over your shoulder and turning back to the Sith, “I wouldn’t want to keep you and Lord Vader waiting, so I am ready.” She starred silently at you for a moment as a grin overtook her lips. “Wh- what is it?” You asked, confused at her expression.
“I don’t think the Generals on Hoth will think very highly of you wearing Pajamas as a new Uniform…” she laughed. You glanced down, remembering you had not changed into your uniform yet. Wow you were tired.
“Oh,” you chuckled, “right- I’ll uh, change then.”
She nodded, smiling again, as she turned back to the hallway, shutting the door through the force for you. Embarrassed, you quickly changed into a uniform from your bag. Ironically, it turned out to be the same blood stained uniform she had marked a few days earlier after the “Stormtrooper Explosion.” You stepped back out the door, turning back to the pad to lock it before you left. Mira leaned against the wall on the opposite side of the door, in between you and Perseus’.
“Boots, General.” She chuckled right before you could lock the door. You glanced down once again. Yep, still in socks. You dropped the bag at your side, sighing as you walked back inside, sliding on your boots next to the door. You were positive you had everything now, and if not, she would notice. You stepped back out the door, locking it behind you. The Sith stepped off the wall as you grabbed your bag, following her down the hall.
As you entered the docking bay, you could hear the low hum of the shuttle’s engine, echoed through the silent bay as it prepared to take off. Side by side, the two of you climbed the ramp. When you reached the top, she grabbed a handle next to a control panel. Perseus and Terra were already seated across from each other in the small cabin. You stepped to a seat, one away from Perseus, slinging your bag in the cargo slot overhead. Mira pressed a button on the pad, which pulled the ramp back up, locking it into place just as you sat down. She stepped back over the ramp, taking the place of the hole in the floor, sitting down in the Co-Pilot seat next to Vader.
“Alright, let’s go-“ Mira sighed, glancing up to Vader. After pressing a few buttons, and returning his hand to the control wheel, within moments you were in the atmosphere, flying at the speed of light.
The journey was quiet, besides the occasional low chatting of the Sith. Curious, and mainly bored, you decided to work up enough courage to listen to their conversation, the best you could of course. You did not wish to be caught, or sensed, no one eavesdropping on Sith would.
“The Emperor will be meeting us at the facility once we arrive.” You could hear Lord Vader announce, a few moments later.
“What!?” Lord Mira exclaimed, louder than her original tone, standing next to her seat, gazing down at Vader, hardly visible to you anymore.
“You are not supposed to put much pressure on your leg, sit down.”
“You don’t even have legs, don’t tell me to sit down.” Mira snapped. You forced your laugh back down, only letting a fairly loud exhale escape.
“Sit down,” He repeated, his voice, loud and stern, “or you may loose a leg.” She scoffed, slowly sitting back in her seat, her eyes still fixed to his mask.
“He is the reason this has happened, why is he still involving himself?” She motioned to her leg, and the beginning and end of the scar over her eye. Her voice was calmer now, and more controlled.
“Would you rather he finish what he began?” Vader questioned, “You were not the only one harmed for the General’s incompetence.”
‘Was that where the scars on his chest plate came from?’ You thought to yourself. ‘And the one across Mira’s eye?’
Vader and Mira’s conversation continued unintelligible to you anymore. Almost half an hour later the ship shifted as it existed hyperspace. The large, white planet appeared ahead of its course. Entering the atmosphere, the ship lowered into the hangar of the large facility.
Mira, followed by Lord Vader, entered the seating room that you, Perseus, and Terra were in just as the ship landed. The ramp extended into the snow as the hatch of the hanger closed overhead. The three of you gathered your things, quickly following the sith out and down the rows of awaiting snow troopers. Mira walked carefully on Vader’s right side. It was freezing. You hated it and assumed Mira did also as she was somehow limping quicker than Vader’s powerful strides. Most likely trying to hurry this interaction so she could get out of the cold.
Eventually they reached the Emperor and his red-armour guards. You, Perseus and Terra did your best to kept your distance as they spoke. Not being able to hear very much of their conversation so you couldn’t be accused of eavesdropping.
———————————————————
“Master” Mira bowed briefly along with Vader.
“Greetings, Lord Mira…” the emperor responded, practically ignoring Vader, “I hope your trip and extra individuals have not caused you any inconvenience.”
“They have not, Master.” Her voice was low, and her stance seemed uneasy. She was obviously uncomfortable and anxious.
“Good…” he replied, sensing her discomfort, yet choosing to ignore it. “Lord Vader, will you escort our Lord Mira inside..”
“Yes, Master.” Vader replied before swiftly guiding Mira around the Emperor’s guards and into the facility.
The older man stepped slightly forward, toward your misplaced group.
“General L/n… the reason we were summoned to this dreadful place.” he spoke. You had now concluded everyone here despised Hoth and the cold. He continued, sensing your confusion, “Your original strategies caused Lord Mira to loose a majority of her troops. She was then blamed by Lord Vader for your mistake…”
“I apologise my Lord, I am still unsure of what caused that.” You replied quickly. His tone along with his bright yellow eyes could intimidate anyone, especially you.
“Now is too late for apologise. Lord Vader has already informed you you will be learning from a General with less fatal mistakes than you have. We expect your skills, and those of your companions to improve on this visit.” The Emperor waved his hand to his guards as he spoke.
After bowing to the emperor, and excusing your group, the three of you hurried into the facility. As you all warmed yourself in the heat of the hallway, a mouse droid delivered Holopads to you all, which consisted of your assignments for the next few days.
Terra then left you and Perseus to go find the medical bay. As you two wandered the halls, passing numerous other generals and troopers along the way, you tried to act as if you knew where you were going. The holopad included a map of the facility which was very handy for you to use. Other officers and generals there had much different uniforms than you. Theirs was designed to keep its wearer warm in the frigid temperatures. While yours kept you cooler in the heat of Mustafar, which was the complete opposite of what you needed.
After quickly touring the facility, you and Perseus met Terra to find your rooms. Conveniently, the three were directly next to each other in the corner of the living quarters. The rooms were as large as a suite in a lodging cabin, much larger than your room on Mustafar. These consisted of a large bathroom, less cramped than the other, a bigger bed, and a small kitchen area in the far corner.
The three of you felt luxurious as you got ready for bed that night, and ready to tackle the day tomorrow.

This is a small bit from another story telling about Mira. This character is based off of Norse Mythology gods, as she is the sister of Loki, and goddess of war. You need to have an idea of who she is before reading the story.

So I know it’s been a while, and this is really childish, but I started on another story… that isn’t even Star Wars related… anyway, it’s based off of Gravity Falls- the “kids show” and it’s about Mira, from a different dimension, meets Stanford and ends up coming back to his dimension along with him. I doubt it, but if this is interesting to anyone, please let me know. If not, try and get it to the right fan base and it may work out for me. Anyway, have a good day.

(Also pls keep in mind it is supposed to be male reader… so just remember that I guess even tho I will still list all the main characters)

Overcoming Fears
Darth Vader x Reader
Chapter Ten
———————————
After Vader heard about what happened with that one stormtrooper, it wasn’t long till almost the entire castle knew. Every single squadron of Stormtroopers feared Lord Mira more than Vader now, afraid of the same fate as the Mocker. Which was what they called the poor man.
Mira hadn’t been seen since the Storm Trooper ‘Explosion’, as she had been in her room, resting her leg. Mira knew the cuts and burns on her leg wasn’t heeling, and Terra had said the same thing when she had come to assist her.
That day you had to show Perseus where another unit was on the same floor as Lord Mira and Darth Vader’s quarters. You were around 6 floors down, but thank the maker for elevators. Is what Perseus always said.
The two of you took a step into the elevator, Perseus hit the button to the correct floor, being closer to the panel and the wall. He placed his heavy bag on the floor between the two of you, briefly fixing the collar of his uniform as the elevator began to move. You hadn’t gone but a floor up until it came to halt. The doors opened with a creak. Terra stepped in, glancing to you as she stood next to the wall farthest from you and Perseus. You glanced over to her, before looking back to the door as out of the corner of your eye you could see another figure entering the elevator. His heavy boots echoed as they hit the hollow floor. His breathing filled the small room. Vader stepped in beside you, glaring down to you through the dark lenses of his mask.
“What floor, My Lord?” Perseus asked, stepping back to the panel and looking up to Lord Vader. His mask tilted to him, looking to the panel.
“We will be heading to the same floor, Officer.” He replied, turning his head back forward. Perseus nodded, stepping back next to you. Vader was accompanying Terra to visit Lord Mira. She hadn’t been able to move around very well, and even now she was unable to even put pressure on her leg. She was a very powerful sith, yet even Vader would admit she was proud, but she was still human.
The doors shut once more. The elevator shifted as it moved once again. The four of you stood in an awkward silence, not even getting two floors up before the elevator jerked to a stop. It made you, Terra, and Perseus loose balance for a moment, without falling. Vader still stood stiffly, as if he had caused it.
“What was that?” Terra asked, glancing between you, Perseus, and Vader.
“The elevator has broken down.” Vader spoke.
“Well can’t you just lift us up with the force or something?” Terra snapped.
His head quickly turned, looking down to her.
“If I am to lift the elevator up, it will only break it further. Only a simple wire malfunction has occurred which must be fixed from the outside.” Vader snapped.
“So this isn’t your first time stuck in an elevator, is it My Lord?” Perseus joked, looking up to him. His helmet turned back to his direction, without a word. Perseus laughed awkwardly at his silence, looking to the wall.
“Another mechanic will fix the elevator from the outside.” Vader scoffed, looking back towards the door.
“And how long will that take?” You asked.
“I would know if I were the one fixing it. “ Vader snapped. The three of you could tell he was annoyed, and did not plan to anger him further.
You all sat in silence for almost 20 minutes till your legs began to ache, not having moved in a while. Your back was tempting you to slouch. You assumed Perseus and Terra felt the same, as Perseus was constantly switching the leg he leaned on. Not a moment later the Sith sighed looking over to you and Perseus. The two of you returned the gesture, starring up at the tall man.
“I believe we will be waiting a while more.” He spoke with a sigh, “The three of you may sit, if you wish.” He slightly glanced back toward Terra, who seemed more pleased than you did.
“Thank you, My Lord.” Perseus nodded, stepping back to the wall behind him and plopping down. He drug his bag towards him, leaning an elbow on it. You looked down to Perseus, glancing back up to the Sith before sitting down next to him. Vader stepped to the far corner, by the door, turning back towards the two of you as if making room for Terra. She stepped towards you, sitting one a foot or so away from you on the wall, placing her bag down with her also.
Only the sound of Vader’s respirator filled the small room. He stared at the wall above you, seemingly zoned out or in a daze. You glanced over to Perseus, then Terra, before looking back to Vader.
“You don’t need an invitation, but you may sit with us if you’d like, My Lord,” You spoke. “It does seem we will be here much longer…” You knew Vader could sit down if he wanted to, but he had to show some authority not by sitting with people of much lower rank than his. But it was still worth a try.
His helmet shifted down towards you. “I appreciate the offer, General, but we should be moving shortly…” Vader spoke. “Beyond that, the three of you will be accompanying Lord Mira and I to the Imperial Base and Medical Facility on Hoth in three days.”
A confused look fell on your faces. Why were we going to Hoth? It’s one of the coldest darn planets, and definitely the opposite of Mustafar.
“You all will have simple tasks while you are there,” he continued, ”So do not see this as a vacation. Officer Perseus, you will be fixing a Mechanical Problem the facility has had for years. General
L/N, you will be accompanying Officer Perseus overall, yet you do have one scheduled meeting with another General- He is supposed to help you to present- Useful… War Tactics.” His helmet tilted to the side as he looked to you in a mocking way.
Perseus quickly glanced between the two of you, hoping to know the story of your silent quarrel. He paused before continuing, “Terra, you have already heard of your assignments and our business on Hoth-“
You looked to the Sith for a moment, before quickly shifting your gaze to the floor. You noticed He hadn’t used a title when talking to Terra, even though he had with Perseus and you. It was odd. She didn’t have the title of General or even Officer, hers would simply be The Botanist, or just Botanist-
The creaking of metal interrupted your thoughts. Perseus looked to the ceiling and the wall, searching for the source of the noise. Suddenly the elevator shifted, moving upward once again. The abrupt jerk caused Perseus’ head to be banged into the wall behind him. You and Terra smiled as you held in your laughs. He lowed his head, reaching back to rub it.
You could hear a low scoff from Vader as he turned to the door. It slid open, to the right floor this time. Terra stood, taking her bag, following Vader down the hallway as he quickly fled the elevator as if nothing happened. You stood up after her stepping to hold the door. Perseus rose, throwing his bag over his shoulder he walked out. You followed, leading him to the machine he was supposed to fix, and on the way back to your quarters, the two of you took the stairs.

Overcoming Fears
Darth Vader x Reader
Chapter Nine
-This chapter is mainly to throw some backstory into place, even tho you aren’t supposed to know any of this, and show some friend-relationship status between our Dear Siths. So please enjoy Chapter Nine. (And if you have time, please go participate in my poll, I may or may not base Chapter Ten of of it…)
———————————
Lord Mira limped out of the Cafeteria and down the hall towards her quarters as quick as she could. Her leg was hurting worse. She didn’t want to have to ask Terra for help. She didn’t need Terra. As long as she got back to one of her rooms a few floors up, it would be fine. As she made her way, it was hard for troopers, and officers not to stare as she still had blood all over her, yet didn’t seem to mind it. She was so close to her meditation room, she could hardly stand on her leg now, dreading the pain between each step.
She stopped for a moment, not for a break, but to see where she was in the castle. Glancing at one of the room numbers she realised she had taken the wrong turn, being to focused on not collapsing. She was on the right floor, just the wrong side of it. Most of her and Vaders rooms were on the same floor, so she was closer to his now. This was great. She couldn’t walk that far, and she new it. She continued to walk, at a slower pace. A door opened down the hall not far from her, Lord Vader strutted out and towards her direction. He halted quickly, staring at her. “What happened?” He asked glancing behind her and down the hall.
“Don’t worry about it, now. It won’t be long till you hear what happened. But I’m fine.” She replied, leaning against the wall, lifting up her right leg from the ground.
“What about your leg?” He asked, glancing down the hall again.
“It’s fine-“
“I do apologies for the confusion Lord Mira, I did not believe The Em-
“Please don’t say his name.” She interrupted, slightly shifting her gaze to the floor. Vader paused for a moment before continuing.
“I did not believe He would get Himself involved, nor believe the collision was your mistake after I assumed the same.”
“As I’ve said, I understand. I do see you haven’t got your armour replaced since He blamed the both of us for that General’s mistake.”
“I have a spare, I just do not have the time to acquire it from my armourer.”
“I see-“ Seemingly out of no where, a group of troopers approached them, they quickened their pace, noticing Lord Mira. Walking between the two.
“What was that about?” Vader asked after they had gotten far enough down the hall.
“One of the troopers from that squadron was mocking you, and I in person. That’s why there’s blood all over me.” She motioned to her clothes.
“Ah- I see.”
“I should be going, pleasure speaking with you again Lord Va- Ah!” Taking a step, she fell into a kneel grasping her leg. Vader moved around her, glancing down the hallway again he picked her up bridal style in one swoop. Opening the door to the room he just came out of, he stepped in quickly shutting it behind him. It was the room which held his office. He only used it to store documents, and nothing else. He placed her in a chair near the corner. She leaned forward again, grabbing near her bandages.
“I will call The Botanist to come assist you.” He said, stepping to the door.
“No,” she called, reaching out a hand to him. “I just need to get back to my room, I’ll be fine.”
“You can’t walk, how do you asume you are supposed get all they way over there by yourself?”
“I-“ she stopped looking down at the floor, thinking.
“Exactly.” He turned back to the door.
“Wait!” She called. He turned back to her. “Shut the blaster doors and make a path to my closest room. I can limp or crawl my way over there.”
“That’s outrageous.”
“Well do you have a better idea?”
“No, but you are not fit to walk all they way over there.”
“That’s why I will crawl.” She wiped a drop of blood from her face.
“Your not crawling over there.”
“What else am I supposed to do, fly?!” Vader scoffed, stepping to her from the door. He picked her up once again, walking out the door. He made his way towards her room. He had already shut all the blast doors from that room to hers. This meant no one would see the great Darth Vader carrying Lord Mira. They reached her room. He opened the door through the force, stepping to her bed. He placed her gently onto the bed, taking a step back.
“I will have terra sent here to check on you in a few hours.” He said looking down to her. “Just in case of course-“
“Yes, of course. Thank you, My Lord.” He nodded, stepping awkwardly back out her door and down the hall. He strutted back towards his ward, passing a few troopers along the way. An officer stopped, looking up at Lord Vader. He turned to him.
“My Lord, are you alright?” The officer question.
“Yes, why do you ask?” He replied.
“Well- you have- There is blood on your chest plate…” The officer stuttered. Vader looked down to his armour, then back to the officer.
“That’s right,” he replied, “I forgot about that.” He walked of without another word, leaving the officer speechless in the hall. Vader knew it was the trooper’s blood, but didn’t want to go through that whole conversation. It was none of their concern anyhow.

Overcoming Fears
Darth Vader x Reader
Chapter Eight
-This was a random chapter, but I loved making it, and I hope you love reading it, so without further ado, Chapter Eight. *Yay*
————————————
You walked down the long hallway towards the cafeteria. You were supposed to eat with a few of your colleagues today, but it wasn’t at the designated time for your sector’s lunch. This meant you would be eating with a squadron of snobby storm troopers too. In the halls they were tolerable because they feared being caught out of line, but no one of high authority ever came into the cafeteria, which meant they could do, and act however they pleased. You dreaded it, but it would have to work.
Stepping into the room, you could see the crowed tables, filled with troopers and helmets. Spotting your group, you made your way toward them, greeting the small group under the loud ruckus of the troopers.
“What are they on about?” One of your coworkers asked, practically having to yell. The troopers had seemed to be gathered around one other person, laughing at something.
“Hey, guys, guess who I am!” You could hear the one in the middle exclaim. “I’m tall and strong, and everyone will bow before me!” This time in a deeper, mocking voice. Through the clearing of a few troopers, you could see the one they were gathered around. He had a long, black sheet tied around his neck and a smaller black trash can over his helmet, that was painted to look like Darth Vaders mask. Holding in your laugh, you could see Perseus walk to you from one of the tables.
“Are you guys seeing this?!” He said, laughing, pointing back to the group.
“Yes, we did.” You replied, before introducing him to your coworkers. You both turned back to the crowd, watching for a moment more.
“You wanna go tattle?” Perseus whispered, leaning towards you.
“We’re not children…” you paused, “Let’s hurry before they put it up.” You both laughed as your hurried to the door and down the hall. “Lord Mira’s chambers are closer, I think we should tell her first.” You suggested.
“Whatever works.” Perseus smiled. You found your way to Lord Mira’s meditation room, not having a key, you knocked on the outer door of the room, hoping she was in there. The two of you stepped inside as the door slid open. Her dome’s top hissed as it lifted up. Mira’s chair turned around toward the entrance. She was sitting almost sideways in her seat, with her legs crossed, and her back to the corner of the chair. A mug balanced on the flat arm rest, and an open book laid in her lap.
“What is it, General?” She questioned, marking her page in the book, and placing it next to her mug.
“A few Stormtroopers are causing ruckus in cafeteria C. We thought you should know about it, so you may take care of it.” You announced.
“Well, if you walked all they way across the castle just to tell me this, if must be something serious.” She stood up from her seat, leaning on her left, uninjured, leg. She took her warm mug in her hand and limped down the ramp towards the two of you. “Lead the way, General.” You turned walking back to the door, followed with Perseus and Lord Mira, leading them to the cafeteria while she took brief, occasional, sips of whatever she had in her mug. Eventually you reached the door. An evil smile overtook your lips as you pressed the button to open the door. Stepping in you moved to the side along with Perseus, seeing the troopers were still mocking Vader.
“Get out of my way peasant!” The man called, pointing to one of the other troopers, and now breathing in an obnoxious tone, “You’ll ruin my dramatic entrance!”
Not being able to see what was happening in the middle of the circle, Mira approached it slowly, reaching the outer edge. One of the troopers in the back that she stepped to spun around, most likely thinking an officer came to try and stop their fun jokes. The trooper let out a small gasp, tapping the armour of the man in front of him as he stepped out of the way. The other man turned too, seeing the Sith, and moved out of her way. This continued till she had made her own path through the group and into the center. She stood opposite side of the circle than the mocker, staring at his new outfit.
“That’s nice, trooper.” She said in a low, sarcastic tone. The storm trooper who couldn’t hear very well, nor see at all with the bucket on his head, assumed it was one of the officers attempting to put an end to their mockery also.
“Oh yeah?” The trooper exclaimed, not knowing he was talking with Lord Mira, ”Well why don’t you come over here and we can make you a costume too. With that ugly voice of yours, you could be a great Lord Mira, cause I bet you look as bad as her too. Since she’s always thinking she’s the best thing in the galaxy! Strutting around like she owns the place! I bet we all could out do her in a fight too! That puny women!” The trooper laughed, briefly pointing in the direction of Mira. The other troopers had wished they could interfere or signal to their friend, who they guaranteed was about to die in front of them.
Lord Mira glanced around the circle at the men, who dared to move. She looked back to the brave man in front of her, starring at him for a moment. “Someone get that peice of shit of his head.” She growled, taking a sip from her mug. One of them men closer to him rushed to his friend, taking the can off of his head, and stepping back into line. The mocker still had his helmet on but even a non-force user could tell he went as pale as a ghost.
“Oh! My Lord, forgive me, we were just- it was a-“ she stepped closer to him, stopping a pace or two from him.
“You have exactly 30 seconds to give me a reason good enough not to make me smear your guts all over that wall behind you and make your dearest friends clean it up.” She hissed calmly, making most the troopers and officers in the room shiver at the thought of her threat.
“I- but it was just-“ he stuttered.
“Go.” She sipped her drink. He stuttered, nervous and not having an excuse for mocking two of the most powerful people in there galaxy. Mira glared up at him, holding her cup in her left hand.
“I swear I didn’t mean any of it!” He finally mustered out. “It was just a joke, I promise My Lord! I- I can make it up to you, just anything, please!”
“I did not ask for you pleas, I asked for a reason for you to ridicule Lord Vader and I.”
“We were just messing around! I swear!”
“You have ten seconds.” She moved back towards one of the tables, swatting away the troopers sitting on the top of it. She sat her cup down, turning back to the man. “Five.”
“My Lord I apologise for mocking you two, but I promise we were just joking around, I didn’t mean any of it! It won’t happen again!”
“Oh, I can assure you, soldier… it won’t.” She whispered. She grasped his neck through the force, lifting him up many feet of the group, as she took a few steps forward. The men on the edge of the circle stepped back. Without another word, the Sith crushed the man’s organs along with most of his bones, breaking the skin, which cause what even looked like a blood bomb. Showering the nearby troopers and mainly Lord Mira. She let go of what remained of the troopers body, letting it fall onto the floor in front of her, splattering another bit of blood onto herself. The pieces of the armour laid with the remains. Concerned whispers jumped through out the crowd. “Have I made myself clear?” She growled, glancing around her. “Or do we need another demonstration…?”
“No ma’am!” Most of the storm troopers called, or “No, My Lord.”
“Good.” She turned, taking her cup from the table and walking to the door. You could see she was completely covered with blood, which seemed to stand out on her black clothing, along with her face and hands. When she reached the door, she turned to you, placing her hand on your shoulder, “Thank you for informing me.” She smiled, removing her hand and walking out the door.
You looked over to Perseus who was already staring at you, “Well I suppose that is enough revenge for today.” You said with an awkward and guilty smile.
“Yes, I think it is- well- oh.” His eyes fell to your shoulder. Confused, you followed his gaze. A perfect, red, handprint was left on your uniform. “Do you think she did that on purpose?” He asked.
“I believe so.” The two of you returned to your group, explaining how you had gone to get Mira and how she left the hand print, while the troopers silently cleaned up the remains of their friend from the walls and floors, as Mira had promised. You and your workers, along with Perseus returned to your duties after that, with a smile and a story to tell.

Overcoming Fears
Darth Vader x Reader
Chapter Seven
- I didn’t think this chapter would take this long, but anyway, please enjoy!
—————————————————————
The next morning as you got into your uniform, you planned out your day in your head, thinking of what you had to do today. There was only one thing. At the end of every week you had to take any plans you had made to the grumpy old man who was in charge of a few tie-fighter squadrons. Whatever they were called. You could never remember but didn’t really mind. Only having this one task today technically meant after you finished it you could have the afternoon off.
You hurried out of your room, and to your office to get the plans. From down the hall you could see a figure swaying impatiently outside your office door. It wasn’t Lord Vader for sure. Maybe your boss finally decided to show up, although that was unlikely. As you approached the door you saw Perseus turn to meet your gaze. “Good Morning, General
L/N.” He smiled.
“Good Morning, Officer Perseus. Is there something I could help you with?” You replied as you stoped a few paces in front of the man.
“Yes, actually, I got my tasks from my boss earlier and there are a few places on here that I need to check that you didn’t show me, and he said to come to you and you would show me around for the day.”
This was great, all you wanted was the afternoon off and now you have to show him around, again. “Very well, and what is your repairing in these places?” You replied turning to punch in the code to your door.
“Well, most of the machines have either messed up and need repair, or they simply just need to be checked up on to make sure something isn’t going on that they don’t know about. Such as a part falling out of place or anything else really.” The door slid open. You stepped in, walking around your desk.
“I‘ll show you around, Officer, I just need to run something to Captain Acer first.” You took file disk out of your drawer. “What places are on your list?” You asked, looking back up to him.
He looked down to his holo pad. “It says there is a messed up targeting system in an older tie-fighter, a unit in Room S.U.25, and S.U.17. Whatever those are.”
“Well you can look at the tie fighter when I go to see Captain Acer. He will know which it is.” You walked pass him out the door, closing it as you went. He followed you down the hallway as you both headed for the bay.
“Where are the other rooms?” Perseus asked, breaking the silence.
“I don’t remember those exact room numbers but the S.U. means Sith Use, so it is probably one of Lord Vader’s rooms. Did you get a door key?”
“They gave me two, and what do you mean by one of his rooms?”
“He has his own personal quarters, it is his castle after all.”
“Well, like what?”
“If your that invested in his life, why don’t you ask him yourself.” You snapped. Yes, it was rude. But you were still waking up and we’re grumpy this morning.
“Sorry, General.” He shifted his gaze to the floor in front of him. You scoffed as the two of you walked through two large doors and into the fighter bay. You approached an older man, with light grey hair.
“Captain Acer?” You asked. The man turned to you, he looked just as tired as you were. “Here are the files and this is Officer Perseus.” You handed him the file, glancing up to Perseus who was standing at your side.
He looked over to him. “Officer Perseus, nice to meet you.”
“He is our new mechanic. He will be fixing that ship that has the targeting problems.”
“Ah, well come this way, Perseus.” He turned on his heel heading to one of the ships with Perseus following him. It was at least one minute until they returned.
“Well let’s get going.” Perseus said as he walked back to you. You turned with him walking towards the door.
“How did you fix the ship that fast?” You asked.
“That was an older ship, as I said, and has been crashed before. I’m assuming during the crash the pilot messed up the settings. It was just a few button mashes to fix.”
“That’s good. May I see the holo pad? I think I can find out where those rooms are.” He handed the pad to you. Pressing a few buttons you brought up at map, which marked the rooms. You turned down a different hallway, following the map. You still didn’t know which room was which. You only remember when you arrived to the room. Both Sith had their own quarters with their own personal rooms. Vader and Mira had a meditation chamber which no one was allowed to enter, especially while they were in there. You had been taught to stay away from these rooms, as they were the Sith’s personal quarters, which was the only reason you knew about them. Yet this time, you were allowed to go in. It was Perseus job.
You stepped to the large door staring at it for a moment. “Hand me the key card.” You commanded, handing him back the pad, he gave you the card. “This room is Lord Mira’s Meditation room, so if you want to live, don’t mess up anything. Although she shouldn’t be in there, so it should be fine.” You tuned back to the pad scanning the card. The door hissed as it slid open.
Perseus stepped in first, glancing around the room. You followed him looking to the large dome in the center of the room. It was closed. That’s just great. You had to wait on Perseus to fix a unit with a Sith Lord in the same room who was trying to meditate. Perseus stepped to the unit on the wall near the door. “Wait.” You demanded, your eyes still fixed on the dome.
“What is it.” Perseus asked, turning back to you, then to the dome.
“Should we at least tell her we’re here?”
“Well it’s only polite, this is her Meditation room isn’t it.”
“Yes, of course.” You walked toward the dome. With a sigh you knocked on the outer edge, stepping back and tucking you hands behind your back.
———————————————————
Lord Mira opened her eyes, startled by the knock. Being in her dome allowed her to channel the force much more than it would in an open area. Doing so, she was able to effortlessly hold herself up in the air with the force, along with her stacks of books. She stared at the edge of the dome for a moment before lowering herself to the floor, stacking her books in the far corner. She winced as she landed, her leg had not healed yet, and was still visibly bandaged up. Her eye had healed a bit but there was still a bad scar. She sat in her chair facing the back wall as she opening the dome with the force. The top hissed open, lifting up before the rest. She reached behind her head, unhooking her mask as it was lifted up and behind her by a cord. Her chair spun around to the entrance of the dome where you stood.
“Ah- General L/N, what is it you need?” She asked, her voice low and somewhat confused.
You bowed, “My Lord, Officer Perseus was tasked with checking on a unit, and we thought we should inform you we were in the room.” Her gaze shifted to the tall man, waiting patiently next to the unit he was supposed to inspect.
“That is acceptable.” She replied, looking back over to you. “Thank you for informing me.” You nodded, turning back to Perseus as he knelt down and began taking apart the unit. “Another question, General.”
She spoke.
“Yes, My Lord?”
“This is most likely something I should know, but how did you two get in this room?”
“Officer Perseus’ supervisor gave him the key to your quarters so he may be able to inspect the unit.”
“And what is it you are doing with him?”
“I am tasked with showing our new Officer around. He was transferred just yesterday.”
She glanced between the two of you for a moment. “Very well. Take no heed of my presence.” She pulled her injured leg over her left, turning in her seat to grab her mask behind her. You slightly turned toward Perseus, stepping back from the dome’s entrance. She turned her face, breathing in from the mask.
“I wonder what she’s breathing.” You asked yourself, “Did she have a lung problem too? Or maybe there wasn’t as much oxygen in her cube.” You caught yourself staring at the sith, quickly turning your head down to Perseus and praying She hadn’t noticed herself.
“Peppermint Scented Air, General.” Mira spoke, replying to your thoughts as she let go of the mask, having it raised up behind her.
“My Lord?” You looked back up to her, having no idea of what she said.
“Peppermint scented air,” She repeated, “It is supposed to be- calming…” she scoffed.
“Oh- I see.” She nodded.
“Oh, and before I forget.” She spoke, pushing herself up from her seat. Before taking a step, she glared down at her bandaged leg. She sighed, sitting back in her seat, looking back up to you. “Bring me both keys you got from Officer Perseus’ supervisor.”
You nodded, taking the second key from his bag and the other still in your hand, you walked up the ramp into her dome, stopping in front of her. You handed her the keys, turning back to stand by Perseus.
By the time you reached Perseus again, he retightened the last screw on the machine, standing up next to you. “My Lord, I still have to check a machine in a room that required that key. If you would rather me not inspect that unit just yet, that is perfectly fine of course, but if so, I will need to finish it today.” She stared at him for a moment.
“Which room is it?” She finally asked.
“Room S.U.25, My Lord.”
“You won’t be able to get in there.” She snapped, “I will have a word with your supervisor- Take tomorrow off, Officer Perseus.”
“Thank you, My Lord.” He bowed.
She nodded with a smirk, shifting her gaze to you.
“If you are finished, I believe we should be going.” You added, turning to Perseus.
“Yes, of course.” He turned, kneeling down to collect his things. You looked up to Mira, bowing once more before you turned to the door, waiting on Perseus. He gathered his things, standing up next to you. You opened the door, stepping out, waiting on him to close it back. Perseus bowed to Lord Mira with a smile, then following you out.
“Officer Perseus.” She spoke before you could close the door. He turned to her once again.
“Yes, My Lord?” He asked.
“Welcome to Mustafar.” She spoke, the top of her dome came down once again as her chair spun around. You closed the door, looking up to him as you both started back to your quarters without another word.

Overcoming Fears
Darth Vader x Reader
Chapter Six
-This was a shorter chapter but I hope you like it! :)
—————————————————————
It seemed a friendship had been made between you and Terra. You were supposed to help her anyway. Yet Lord Mira, you had become closer to her in a way, assuming she could still kill you. Although if she chose not to, you would have someone very powerful to help you. It was unlikely, but there was still a chance.
It had been quite in the castle the last few days, no one had seen either of the Sith since Vader took Mira to see the emperor. Not many people thought much of it, and you didn’t mind. You got your normal job back for a few days, and that was good.
Making war tactics for the empire and not getting into trouble, occasionally having to show Terra around as she had become bored having no patient in the castle.
Work was slow today. You had no ideas and your boss was no where to be found, like a lot of people lately. You had no tasks and your mind refused to work. Leaning back in your chair staring at the papers on your desk, the door slid open. The familiar respirator noise filling the room. You quickly leaned forward, fixing your posture as you glanced up at the Sith, towering over you. “My Lord.”
“General.” He replied with a sigh. “There is a new mechanic who will be transferring to the castle later today. Seeing you have nothing else to do, and an adjustable schedule, you will be in charge of showing him around.”
“Yes my Lord, and what is his name?”
“His name is Perseus. You will have more time to get to know him. He should be arriving soon, I would make your way to the main docking bay.” He placed a card on the edge of your desk, looking back up to you. “Here is his room number, along with the pre-set code.”
“Oh course, my Lord. Thank you.” Vader nodded leaving your office as quick as he came.
“Wait, what just happened.” You thought, “And where has he been?! Just randomly showing up like he owns the place. Well he does- But now I have to show around some Mechanic. I hardly know anything about that, but I do know about people.” Standing up from your seat you took the card off your desk and made your way to the door, strolling down the hallway towards the docking bay.
You had arrived just in time, a ship was entering the atmosphere. You assumed that was the ship Perseus was on. “What an odd name” you thought to yourself as the ship neared the bay. “I wonder how he got it.” The ship landed. A group of troopers made their way toward it, lining up on each side of the ramp. It reminded you of when you first transferred. A tall, muscular man strutted down the ramp and through the legion of troopers towards you.
“General L/N, I asume? I have heard much about you.” Perseus spoke. The man had a thick, beautiful, accent. His slick black hair sat tucked tidily behind his ears, while his bag hug sloppy over one of his shoulders. His uniform seemed fancier than yours, which was absurd since they were the exact same thing.
“Officer Perseus, a pleasure.” You replied extending your hand to him. He shook it looking back up to you. His eyes glowed with their light blue color. “It’s getting late. Why don’t I show you around.” You said, pulling your hand away from his. Perseus nodded with a smile, following you towards the door. You showed him all the places you though he may need to know the locations of, and the ones you had access to. Including the Docking Bay’s control room, the Tie-fighter hanger, and it’s control room and many more, chatting along the way between each.
Perseus turned out to be a very intelligent mechanic, being far behind for a promotion. Eventually you two came to his room. You thought Lord Vader had given you the wrong room. “Is there something wrong?” Perseus asked, seeing your confusion as you both stood at the door. His room was right next to yours.
“Vader had to have done that on purpose.” You thought. “Oh nothing.” You finally replied. “Here’s the code for your room and I’ll be next door if you need me.” You handed him the paper, stepping the short distance to your door.
“Well thank you, General.” He smirked. “Sleep well.” You nodded to him, stepping into your room, quickly shutting the door behind you.
“We’ll he’s fun.” You mumbled, getting ready for bed. It didn’t take long for you to fall asleep, awaiting the morning.
