A good collection of Sunset Strip bands that may not have made it very big. They did a good job with these recordings.
I was disappointed that when I opened it the insert was basically a poster with a write up on the back. I had seen the LP version with a nice book with a write up for each band. Upon second look I found a barcode to download the full book. So that is cool, although not physical, having the digital version at least gives me the stories around these bands.

Two more to add to my collection for this band
This is a band I just started getting into the summer of this year. These two are the bookends to the bands catalog. Rock the American Way being the debut album and Souls of the Innocent the newest release.
Even though these two albums are from two different time periods they both sound great and had that true hard rock feel to them. Great albums. So happy I found this band.
Now to track down the last two albums I need to complete the CD collection for this band (Defiance and Stand Your Ground).

Picked these two up as well over the weekend
Owned Alice In Hell on Cassette when it came out and loved the album. I never picked up any of their other albums though. Nice to have this one on CD now. To this day I still really enjoy this album.
I also picked up Never Neverland as well which sounds much more polished and the singer I feel is a little better. Over all a good follow-up album. Also love how these releases include write ups about the albums and the bands thoughts on the production.

Don’t call me “Late for the Party”
However I think I came late for picking up this album. This is awesome fun early 90’s rock. Their first album was awesome and this one is pretty good for a follow-up. Wishing I had picked it up sooner. Songs like Sticky Side Up and Late For The Party will definitely be included on upcoming playlists.

Another band I just started getting into and was not into back in the day. Picked up this album which I must say was a really good listen
The liner note states “this album is the result of pure anger” when I heard the opening track Starlight I was like this is going to be a hard album. However the title track Breaker was less more catchy and the album flowed from there on. The ending track Down And Out ended leaving me feeling like there should be more songs coming after it.

Picked up three albums by this band. One I owned on cassette back in the 80’s and two others including this one which is there most recent album.
The cover of this album is what pulled me in. Not sure if the picture portrays it well but it is in 3D. Songs are not bad on this album and come off pretty solid. One thing I did not know about this band is the multiple line up changes. Each album I bought has a different line up and singer.

Got a lot of music in the past weekend. Will try to post as I go through them
Someone posted about this band on Facebook. Had not heard of them before and listened to a couple songs on YouTube and decided to purchase a couple CDs. This it the first and 3rd album. Second album, which Wikipedia says was their best selling album could not be found new to purchase so need to do some digging for it.
Both albums are great. You can definitely hear the 80’s era sound they had. Some had said they sound generic, however I enjoyed both albums beginning to end.

This guy really Rocks!!!!!
Ordered this single from his site and in addition to the signed CD I got a guitar pick and sticker.
I ordered this a while ago and it took a long time to arrive. To my surprise Ron Keel also included a signed personal letter apologizing for the delay because of uncontrollable circumstances. To me, that proves this guy really cares about his fans. I really admire him for going above and beyond on that.
I am super excited it has finally arrived.
Like I Said Ron Keel ROCKS

This was a band I saw come up on Facebook promoting their latest album. I picked up the new album plus two others they had available.
This band is a female led progressive heavy metal band. You can hear influences of Nightwish but they a far from a copycat. Very happy with these albums. If you want a hard edged heavy metal album check them out.
They sent me digital versions of the albums as I waited for the CDs to come in so I could enjoy the music right away. Albums came in Friday

Got this CD on Friday and it did not disappoint. Great vocals and very hard rock feel. The cover sold it when I saw it on preorder and I knew it was an album I had to have.

One of those days I feel like “I stand Alone”
This album must be so bad they had to put an Advisory label on the case and there is one the cover. Someone has a “Dirty Little Mind” 😂
