Iron Man came out in 2008 and it’s still hands down one of the best MCU films.

Like do you guys ever miss the simplicity that was Iron Man 1? Or the the fact that Tony was just a human trying his damn best. Everything the MCU does now is so damn big that the heart of it often seems lost.

I miss Tony Stark.

Yes, he’s obvi a fictional character but his death felt personal as I’d watched him and loved him through 10 years of movies. That’s longer than some of my friendships. It was a long relationship of enjoying his presence on film and my heart is sad that I won’t see him anymore in the MCU.

It’s okay to mourn things that are important to you, even if they seem silly to others.
