EVA CAN'T's theatrical music will soon return to echo in the skies of the Italian scene. Following a period of relative silence but hard work, the band has renewed the partnership that linked them to My Kingdom Music and on September they will present the new album "Emisferi", an ambitious and challenging opera that will leave an indelible mark on us. "Emisferi" is a concept album imagined as a journey from pole to pole in an uninhabited planet whose stylistic coordinates range from Post-Metal to Post Rock up to moments close to Progressive and modern Black Metal in a style close to great acts like Alcest, Explosions In The Sky, Agalloch and Cult of Luna but also the sophisticated and evocative Devil Doll's Art.

Simone Lanzoni talks to us about the new album: "When we started writing "Emisferi", we immediately realized that we had a challenging project ahead that would require a lot of time and energy. What this fifth album represents is undoubtedly the most authentic picture of our essence and our most ambitious release in every sense. It is a concept album that deals about a journey from pole to pole along a totally unlivable and uninhabited planet Earth. The disk is divided into two sections (Southern and Northern hemisphere) and each into two further subsections (land and water). Each of these four parts was written in a different style, recorded at different times and places, and each with its own specific and refined sound. It was an incredible journey, hard but extremely fulfilling from a personal, artistic and emotional point of view. We are really satisfied with it and can't wait to present you the precious fruit of our work".

Soon we will present further details and above all we will enter the unique and poetic universe of "Emisferi", the incredible new opera by EVA CAN'T.

"My Ghost" will be the title of CREST OF DARKNESS new album

"I have probably never released a more personal album than "My Ghost". This is how CREST OF DARKNESS founder Ingar Amlien defines "My Ghost", the new full-length album from the Norwegian Black Metal band, set for release on the next autumn on My Kingdom Music and anticipated in June by a single released in an exclusive 7" EP format. "My Ghost" is the result of two years worth of blood, sweat and tears, that began with Ingar working alone to mould his very personal thoughts and beliefs into musical ideas that the band can then develop together, each contributing their own ideas to the process, before entering the MLP Studios with Nils H. Maehlum at the helm. The result is an extremely personal journey that defines the very essence of CREST OF DARKNESS.

Here are Ingar's thoughts about the new music they will be releasing: "After what felt to us like an eternity of waiting, the time has finally come for us to be able to present you with new music. Since 1996 I have nurtured CREST OF DARKNESS in my heart, and in all that time I have probably never released a more personal album than "My Ghost", which will appear in the Autumn of 2024. Before that, however, you can get a taste of what to expect from "My Ghost", in the form of a single which will be released in June, even before details of the album itself are announced. I can, however, reveal that "My Ghost" is a concept album, one in which you are invited to join me on what I would call an "initiation journey" into the CREST OF DARKNESS Universe. An invitation into my own dark universe where there is only one ruler... one God... ME!!".

Over the coming days we'll reveal more details about the album and the upcoming single. For the moment just imagine finding yourself in front of one of the most incredible, mature and deeply personal albums that CREST OF DARKNESS has ever released.

ECR.LINF's guitarist and video director Dorian Lairson commented as follows about the video and its meaning: "De mon seul être dont je suis maintenant l’unique Roi". Of my only being of which I am now the only King. In the music video "Le Désespoir du Prophète" three young monks wander from hut to hut in a damp and cold forest. The eldest embodies the prophet himself on his spiritual journey, while the two younger ones represent his faithful companions who support and blindly follow him in his quest. Eventually, they reach a tall stone structure, symbolizing the crystallization of the spiritual path. Here, the sacrifice is solely assumed by the prophet, illustrating his transition to individual enlightenment while embodying his environment and the people around him. Finally, in the night of the soul, the symbol of the group "Ecr.linf" burns and falls to signify the death of our own idols, constructions, and inner beliefs, marking the end of an era and the beginning of a new stage on the spiritual path. It is the spiritual phase shift that exists between a prophet and his followers that fosters misunderstandings, conflicts, and divisions, corroding religious beliefs from within".

ECR.LINF present a song that is absolutely a manifesto of their devastating Post Black Metal able to meet Hardcore music and the most dissonant Noise atmospheres with great hellish melodies.
