 been trying to experiment with posing more lately in my art, I want to draw more interesting angles and practice foreshortening.

This isn't exactly vent art, Dirk is just angsty today for art reasons. Haven't drawn much lately, but here's a Dirk :3 trying to get better with anatomy, and I think during the last year or so I've def improved some. I wanna get better at drawing a variety of body shapes. Tried to make Dirk represent my body shape the best I could. I'm not going for perfect anatomical accuracy, just more realistic in a very stylized way

and here is his new ref sheet from 2023! His colors have changed, but his body shape has as well! there is a small error on the sheet that I have yet to fix, his tail on the front view is red instead of pink like it should be, just haven't gotten around to changing it

I think bringing up "it/its" pronouns is a good test for people who claim to be "trans allies" because it so easily weeds out the people who are only doing it superficially. I've seen so many people who will post "Punch your local TERF #transrightsarehumanrights" and then turn around and be like "If someone says they go by 'it/its' pronouns it's actually good to misgender them because they're just teenager trenders"
