I love to see people with the same planet in the same modality, e.g. sun in Cancer and sun in Aries. Although they may square each other it indicates a similar energy towards that area of life. For example if both people have a mutable mars sign it shows they both go after their goals in a similar way, both being adaptable and open to change.

Adding to the last point people who have the same planet in the same house shows a similar focus on that area of life, which is always good for long term partnership. I have often seen both of these in synastry charts of long term partners.

Second house synastry can be very beneficial for long term partnership also. Having benefits here shows you share similar values. Not only that but your routines and standards for stability are aligned or similar. You can see how this would be great for a relationship

I have spoken about this one in the past, but I really love to see a mix of those more ‘intense’ and passionate placements in a synastry chart mixed, and I will repeat myself again, MIXED with more ‘stable’ and ‘comfortable’, and in a way, easier placements. That to me is how you get the most fulfilling relationship for the long term. One where you have those ‘challenging’ placements that trigger transformation and push you in ways, but you have those cushy placements that will really get you through those tricky and occasionally turbulent times. Relationships aren’t supposed to alway be easy, and often the most impactful ones will change you or shape you in way. There has to be not only that trigger for growth but also that safety for growth within the relationship.

If a partner has placements that go into a house you have planets in, it shows you are both focused on that area of life for you and they can help focus you or direct you in some way. If a partners planets fall into a house that is empty for you, it can help you bring more attention to that part of your life that can sometimes be more subconscious or not on the forefront of your mind as much.

Oppositions can be challenging but also lovely, hear me out. It helps bring balance to your life. There may be a sign/ house/ area you are more easily or actively focused on, having someone with a plenty in an opposite sign to yours helps balance you out, you can bring balance to each other.

This isn't going to be strictly informative in the typical way my posts are, however I believe this is some important information to take forward when looking at your chart.

This may seem like a bit of a rant, but it's more just to put this conversation out there.

I have seen many people hating on specific signs or elements on certain platforms. Of course yes, each sign can have a 'bad manifestation’ or as i would say a ‘less developed version’. But I would like to point out there is also good in each of the signs.

I must also say, that if you are hating on a specific sign, you are potentially hating on/ are uncomfortable with a specific energy within yourself. This sign will rule one particular area in your chart. To truly understand your natal chart you must learn how each of the signs shows up for you and how you express them.

I am not saying you can’t have a placement that rubs you the wrong way, or you don’t get along the best with. Maybe you see things within that placement that you don’t agree with ot can actively witness you are like or don’t want to be like. You can aknowledge the bad version of a placement someone you know or let may portray, however to pain the rest of the people with that same placement with the same brush would be unfair.

However once again it’s the hating on a specific sign, without considering the good ‘version’ that can also be brought out with this placement, that is harmful here.

Not everyone does this, but I have been seeing trends, more on other platforms where people have been so quick to shame certain placements ir signs because they had one or two bad experiences.

Also in this post, I don't mean the people who do it as a joke or satire in some way, we all joke about the negative parts of the signs to some extent. This is specifically aimed at posts or videos I've seen just straight up bashing a specific sign.

Also when you look within your own chart or get a reading from other professionals, you will notice there is this ‘good’ and ‘bad’ potential energy within yourself. Now as I say, it’s up to you which archetype of the sign you portray, maybe it’s a mix depending on your mood or situation. But I know no one would want anyone else to solely pull out the bad bits and say ‘that’s you’.

Another things that is great is understanding this potential more negative side you can portray, if once again in the wrong circumstances or undeveloped/ unaware. There shouldn’t be shame in learning these things, but appreciation, awareness and understanding.

Astrology is supposed to be a tool for knowledge and healing.

Todays astrological transits

This is a time of solitude and reflection despite a deep desire for connection.

the moon is currently going through deep Scorpio whilst Venus is going through Pisces. There is a need to recharge and be alone, there may be points where you feel the burden of this solitude, I urge you to work through this and understand why you feel that way. Journalling at this time is a great help and self reflection is encouraged. Imagination can be heightened.

Along side this the sun and mercury are in Aries, the sign of self, look at how you can put yourself first and if you need to, communicate that either to others or maybe even yourself. Understand your needs at this time. You may be feeling energetic one moment but burn out easily, so please give yourself the time to recharge.

You may be feeling this urge to connect with others, with Venus and mars in the same sign, however Saturn influencing here may cause restrictions along with the mercury retrograde coking up. Saturn can also be a great teacher however. If you want to say something, or express something, wait, sit in those thoughts and feeling and when you are sure and know how to say it then go ahead. Miscommunication may become more common as Mercury is headed into retrograde on April 1sts

I would love to know how you are feeling or which houses the transits are falling into for you.

I have mars, venus and saturn in my 5th house here and the sun and mercury in my 6th so in my day to day I have felt inspired and excited yet when doing tasks I have found my flame of inspiration has burnt out quickly!

it's very easy to talk about the very clear and obvious synastry placements that are good, today I wanted to note some that I really like to see that are often overlooked.

In synastry I love to see someone more ‘outward’ or ‘expressive planets in contact with someones more ‘private’ or ‘inward’ planets. An example is seeing someones Sun conjunct the other persons Moon - it’s as if one is bringing the other out their shell a little, or they appreciate these parts of each other, on hoe the ‘expressive’ planet can show this to the word so easily, ‘and how the ‘inner planet feels comfortable to show the ‘outward’ planet this side of them self. For example the sun person will see this more private area and say ‘I love this side of you, please don’t feel afraid to show me”. They compliment one another.

Having Sun - Jupiter synastry brings such a radiance to a relationship. You can rejuvenate each other and bring each other a lot of laughter and joy. These are two very expressive and expansive parts of each other coming together. The sun in traditional astrology rules over intellect snd Jupiter is all about exploration and discovery, you stimulate each others minds and invigorate each others lives. Conversation flows easily and and giggles are often. You want a pretty tight orb on this one (1-5 degrees max)

3rd house synastry is not spoken about or appreciated enough. Often if a personal placement falls into the persons 3rd house, it feels as if you naturally ‘speak their language’. Communication is emphasis here, which is an important foundation in relationships.

An example is having your moon go into someones 3rd house, you may make the 3rd house person feels very safe too communicate with you, and you as the moon person feel as if the house person is vey comforting and the way they communicate and listen is so ideal to you.Also these people can have well blended routines and similar habits.

Often I have seen that when someones personal planets fall into your 6th house, they like to be of service to you in some way. They want to make your day easier, or help you organise your day etc. It shows someone who wants to take care of you and be a big part in those small moments.

10th house synastry is cute! The planet person can push the 10th house person be become who they want to be, they help them feel inspired or driven, this is especially true for benefic planets here.

Saturn rules over bone structure so these people can have a prominent bone structure. Often very angular or sharp. There is a subtlety, they often aren’t too flashy or in your face but are very charming. There is a sharpness to their looks. If looks could kill. They can be quite intimidating as there is a seriousness to their face, they can be prone to the ‘resting bitch face’ but then again this is a fact that is commonly used on catwalks across the glob in high fashion. A lot of well known models have prominent Capricorn/ Saturn in their chart. You may find you ‘age into your looks’. These people often age like fine wine, the only get better. Or may find that there is a delay to when they feel beautiful or are perceived as good looking.

How I perceive different types of beauty in astrology

The more you have of one placement the more prominent or obvious it becomes

If you have a few you will give off a mix of the vibes I talk about, you may resonate more with one at a certain time, or tap into different ones for different occasions. In the future I may analyse some celebrities so you can see an example of all influencing placements mixed together.

That is what is so interesting, everyone has different mixtures of these placements, so finding the mixture you give off can help you see what type of vibe/aura you give off.

Pisces Placements - specifically rising, moon and Venus

Neptune dominant people, or Neptune aspecting the Asc

Aspecting mc can have an influence too - mainly conjunct

This is an etherial type of beauty. It’s soft and heavenly. Remember Neptune is the higher octave of Venus. Neptunian people have something about them where it feels like they literally glimmer, they give off this glowing light. They remind me oof the sound of wind chimes. This can be their eyes or a certain feature that can reflect this, but usually it’s just an overall vibe. There can a preciousness or innocence about their look. It is almost angelic. Extreme beauty can be seen through these placements.

There is something about uranians that draw people to them, something you cant ignore or put your finger on, almost a shocking beauty, it strikes you like lightning. They like being different and standing out. They cut through the crowd with their looks. In some ways their looks can also be ahead of their time.

They can use the weakest/darkest parts of yourself against you if provoked

They can be really understanding, but because of their empathy they understand how you work emotionally, they can use this for you or against you

This is a subject I quickly wanted to touch on as I find it an interesting perspective to look at your chart with.

The houses ruled by Saturn and Pluto are going to be places in life you like to exercise more control, along with the houses Saturn and Pluto are in. You will also see how this affects other planets they come into contact/aspect with.

For Pluto control is all about power and obsession. You are trying to control a situation to a certain outcome or control a certain narrative. You can also be trying to control things by concealing them or covering them up/burying them. Making sure others can’t see it. Pluto can deal with very private or taboo matters that are best kept in the dark. It also rules over secrets. Your Scorpio house will be similar.

Saturn is about boundaries, restrictions and physical constraints. Saturn is more control through discipline. In your cart it can be an area you want to have a lot of self control in, or a lot of restraint. It may be a place in your life you feel the need to set a lot of boundaries or have a lot of rules. Your Capricorn house, and maybe even Aquarius house (traditionally ruled by Saturn) will be similar.

The main difference is there is more of a emphasis on handwork for Saturn whereas Pluto in more force and willpower.

Going a bit deeper both of these planets can also be seen as influencing control in a more explicit manner in the bedroom. Like I mentioned Saturn can rule over physicals constraints and Pluto over power and domination.

Look at others planets these two come into contact with in your chart and what houses they are in. You are going to want tight orbs on these as these are two slower planets, especially Pluto!

This is one I find so interesting. Looks at the sign over your second house. What I have come to notice is that often you will come to value these people who have personal planets there. Specifically rising, sun or moon.Your second house represents your values and assets, not only material but also your emotional and personal values. You can find that some of the people who become the most precious to you have placements here.

If you are getting married base your wedding preferences off of the planets/signs in your 5th and 7th house. The 7th house represents long term partnerships and marriage and the 5th house represents romance and fun. Its a really good way to find your wedding aesthetic. Another way you can do this is use the 5th/7th house in your composite charts.

When it comes to fashion two signs that will always get it right is Taurus and Libra. Of course, they are Venus ruled! However the way Venus presents itself is very different. Libra is an air sign, there is a quicker quality to it than Taurus, who us earthy. Because of this you can see Libras taking part in a lot more fashion trends that are quick to pass or be recycled. Taurus Venuses are more timeless with their fashion, they are classic and maybe more classy because of this. Although people will mostly consider Libras more high fashioned as they will be hot on seasonal Trends.

Having a mix of scorpio and sagittarius gives someone so much sex appeal! The mix of depth, mystery and intensity from scorpio along with the spontaneity and passion for the adventures and mysteries of life of sagittarius is such a magnetic mix. There is a darkness but also this luminosity about their aura. They can appreciate the profoundness of life and try to understand the meaning whilst also living life to the fullest.

Saturn prolongs and delays things so having it aspect a person planet influences it in this way. For example, having is aspecting your mars indicates you may take longer to get mad, depending on other factors in your chart, but when you are mad you stay mad and hold a grudge for a long time. Another example would be the moon, Saturn aspecting gives someone a sentimental personality, emotions may take longer to get over or may hit you long after the event occurred.

This is a placement of magnetism, you are very goo at drawing people in if you want to. Thus balance of energies, knowing when to push and pull.

Lilith aspecting your ascendant

This placement ,as I have mentioned in other posts, correlates to power. Once you tap into this it’s a very attractive, after all power is sexy! There is a dark side to this, the destructive qualities that can be presented here when more untamed/untapped can be equally as enticing but for the wrong reasons. Neptune aspecting your ascendant

This placement can be almost hypnotising! There is an ethereal aura around someone who has this placement. I will say they can be very dreamy - sometimes people will literally project their fantasies onto these people.

Aries moons are some of the boldest people I have met, or at least they come across that way from observation, the moon is comfort and Aries is all about diving in head first, so they actually find a comfort in spontaneity and action!

Honestly the connection between fire and water signs needs to be studied! They both find each other so tempting and it’s such a passionate and intense mix. As someone very water heavy in my chart I cant stay away from those fire heavy men

Mars in the second house indicates that you will enjoy keeping physically fit/ will find bodily aesthetics important. In traditional astrology the second house represents the physical body. This placement can especially indicate some sort of strength training. Looking at the sign it’s in can give you more of an indication of what sport or activity it is.

Chiron in the first house shows someone who has gone through a lot of personal healing and transformation in their life, they have had to deal with a great amount of pain. There are a lot of lessons in their life they learn through this. Often this person can also trigger healing in others around them too or helps heal people in some way, becoming a sort of teacher, specifically emotional wounds. These people possess a great deal of self awareness. This can take time to getting to this point, but developed people use this as a power for good.

Venus - Pluto aspects in a persons natal chart show they are attracted to intensity, They can feel as if they don’t want love if it isn’t mixed with a little obsession. These people are very protective and maybe a little controlling if not a developed version of this sign. Joe Goldberg energy Lol

Connecting to your moon sign can really help you understand your needs for comfort and nurturing. This is a really important place to start when getting to know your natal chart. In your hierarchy of needs this is your base.

Because your moon sign rules comfort, as stated, it also rules over your habits. Habits are something you do often that are familiar to you, they are in a way something that is in your comfort zone. Understanding your moon sign can show you how you form habits and what type of habits you are likely to pick up. This is not only good for understanding how you incorporate comfort into your life on a daily basis, buy also from this how you can step outside of your comfort zone (I will speak on this at a later date as its ruled by other planets and areas in your chart).

I like to think of it as when you get to know your moon sign you are becoming more at home with yourself. You can become more comfortable and relaxed in your own skin by becoming more attune to your own needs. It’s also a great tool for becoming more awake of your intuition, going off feeling instead of thinking. The moon is also a very feminine celestial body, so if you want to get more intone with your feminine nature its also a great place to start.

Virgo moon tend to intellectualise their emotions. They will understand themselves so deeply but not necessarily let themselves feel it. They are so analytical by nature, also we have to remember Virgo is ruled by Mercury - ruler of the mind.

Aquarius moons can detach themselves from their feelings and look at them from a very objective point of view. Because of this they get the reputation of being hard to understand because the way they can explain their feelings or process them.

Having a your moon in hard aspect to your mercury often means you have difficult time choosing between being lead with your head or your heart. You can be conflicted between logic and intuition.

Having your moon in the 7th house indicates that you will be attracted to or marry someone who is nurturing and very emotional. You will value empathy and emotional intelligence in a partner.

Sun square moon in a natal chart represents someones parents not getting along, a lot of arguments occurring between the two. They aren’t working together but against each other. This placement doesn’t necessarily mean divorce or separation for the parents, but often there is a turbulent relationship between the two, or they constantly but heads.

Hi, do you think having mars in 4th synastry would be bad?

There is chemistry with this connection, similar to the moon mars synastry. Any planet coming into a persons 4th house brings intimacy in some form.

The mars person will find the nurturing qualities of the 4th house person comforting, but sometimes a little suffocating if not in smaller doses.

I will say it can be a little unsettling for the 4th house person, a very active and loud planet is coming into a more private and preferably calm space.

The mars person may feel as if the 4th house person is trying to ‘dampen their fire’ in a way. The 4th house person wants to stay home whereas the mars person will want to move around or do things.

There can be heated and emotional arguments with this placement.

The mars person may feel more extroverted where the 4th house person feels more introverted. This can be quite a nice contrast if balanced right, the 4th house person can bring a sense of calm to the mars persons storm, and the mars person can spruce up the 4th house persons life. The key is the have to welcome this energy/change.
