weird ass person in my ask box...

For some reason, given the passive agressive approach they took as well as citing several verses from a religious book that I

don't believe in and

don't care if someone believes in. (it's their business, not mine)

I have reason to believe that this one particular person has taken issue with one of my posts/viewpoints I have posted in the last couple of months. Who knows though, they could just be a random bot who is going around trying to be quirky about subtle-not-so-subtle islamophobia. Okay. We can play the messed-up-sentence-i-found-in-a-centuries'-old-book game all day because every religion has them.

If you don't agree with what's being written then... don't read the book. Don't attend mass. Don't pray to a god you don't believe in. No one is forcing you.

My main philosophy in life, as an athiest, is to live and let live. However, if you use religion or any ideology to justify harm towards another person and/or group of people, you're fucked up for that.

No amount of "my book says so" will ever, and I mean, EVER, justify terrible actions. Especially if the person and/or group you're harming doesn't subscribe to that religious belief in any capacity.

For example, if you use religion to... I don't know ... displace millions of people you don't deem fit for your ideology -- or maybe, I don't know, starving and killing them in the tens of thousands because it's what you think is right... you need to stop playing God and realize that no scripture is above innocent human life.

Don't ever come into my ask box expecting me to change my beliefs on the value of human life because you might not agree with the religion of certain innocent people.

Get fucked.
