The only reason she even took up a job as a mercenary is so she can pay the bills for her little brothers and sisters, since her parents are too busy using their money on drugs:/

✧ He says he relates, but in reality he doesn't. His family was filled with successful boys (fatherless) and his mother who they all loved. He sent his paychecks to her every time.

✧ When you explained that you had to take care of your siblings from a younger age over the campfire he became quiet.

✧ Doesn't make a joke, but the awkward air was getting to him.

"so.. how many siblings ya got?"

✧ He only says this to break the ice

✧ After a while he understands why you're always on calls with people, always away on ceasefire and always take any off days you can get (hardly any)

Soldier

"AN AMERICAN CARETAKER SHOULD NOT INTAKE DRUGS FROM THE FRENCH!!"

✧ He's trying, but not hard enough

✧ He offers you one of his extra helmets and his raccoons. He cares for you like a strange rabid dog you found on the street.

✧ Shares his food with you, gives his loyalty to your brothers and sisters with a goofy salute.

✧ Don’t let him meet your siblings unless you want him to get them to dig a trench around your house

Pyro

".. mph?"

✧ They don't understand why your parents aren't using their own money.

✧ They don't understand a lot of what you explained

✧ They'll begin to offer any candies they have to you, not like they weren't already. Protects you a lot on the battlefield and draws pictures for you and your siblings (mostly balloonicorn)

✧ Would like to meet your siblings though, they've got plushies to share 100%

Heavy

✧ He pats you on the back and nods, he didn't need to mother/father a group of kids but having no father made his family's life harder.

✧ Teaches you some night hearty meals that could feed a battalion

✧ Also teaches you self defense, even if you know it already it's never enough (heavy tells you that like :nerd: )

✧ Also makes you sit and have some time to yourself, he's your 'father' now. No ifs, buts or whys

Engineer

"pardon."

✧ He says, frying pan in hand as he was cooking breakfast. Staring at you like he was going to kill a set of parents.

✧ Tries to keep you safer on the battlefield, not wanting you to suffer more than your family has done to you.

✧ Teaches you to cook, like heavy

✧ Cooks breakfast for you first, and when you have a rough time its 100% only you getting proper meal.

✧ Will drive you to your family's house, and stand there like a guard as you let him meet your brothers.

✧ Probably would build little contraptions for them and help tutor them.

✧ Loves you like family, including your siblings (not your parents, not at all)

Demoman

✧ He's drunk when you tell him this, he raises his bottle and spits out

"aye, fuck ya parents"

✧ He passes out immediately

✧ If he's sober when you mention it again he's going to be more caring(slightly) and since hes always at least tipsy he'll offer you his bombs like a drug dealer.

✧ If you say yes he'll blow up them and their crackhouse.

✧ Is on the fence about meeting your siblings, he doesn't really want your brothers seeing a drunk, half-blind Scot stumbling around.

Medic

✧ His eye twitches, a large insane smile on his face as he turns to you while having his elbows deep in the corpse of the enemy heavy.

"Did I mishear you?"

✧ He removes his hands from the corpse and comes over to you shaking you like crazy. Ranting about how a teenager shouldn't be caring for small children and asking if you had symptoms for any mental issues.

✧ He's insane, I'm not gonna sugar coat it.

✧ But he is smart and teaches you how to do some basic first aid

'no medic I'm not going to remove any appendices please stop cutting into scout'

✧ Wants to meet your sisters, offers them to play with his birds and offers up some plushies

'MEDIC DON'T GIVE THEM SYRINGES' 'and PLEASE put away the baboon heart'

Sniper

✧ Asks for you to repeat what you muttered and then offers to 'get rid' of your parents (sniper put down the rifle.. and the jarate)

✧ Drives you back and to your family home, is uncomfortable around small children so he's going to 100% either stay in his truck or be leaning against it the whole time.

✧ Don't worry he didn't bring any jarate with him.. Just don't check the truck (please)

✧ But if he mentions taking care of birds your siblings demand to see them, so they get along well

Spy

✧ He will assassinate them, won't tell you, but it'll be suspicious when your mother dies from an overdoses while having and obvious bullet hole through her chest

✧ Look, he wasn't a father to scout but he'll be a father for you. Better than your last father at least, and a little better than he was to scout.

✧ Teach your siblings french 100%, you won't know until they start speaking it and you're left dumbfounded.

Scout:

The moment you show him the dog he wants it

No convincing needed, he's always wanted a dog

Now both of you have to convince Engineer and Medic to keep it.

Which was easy

This dog is going to be spoiled by you and scout

He goes on his morning runs with it

Instead of a collar it has a bandana wrapped around its neck

He tried to name it bonk and you immediately declined and threatened to lock him out of the base

Engineer:

When you found a small, skinny brown cat hidden behind a few crates you were in love.

Taking it to engineer quickly and begging to keep it, he looks uneasy (cat could have fleas, or ringworm and you're here touching it)

You and the cat convince him quickly, you with your puppy eyes and the cat with its.. uh cat qualities.

Medic gave it a small look over, it doesn't have fleas or ringworm.

He doesn't want it inside his workroom in case it gets too close to the machinery.

He'll sneak the cat some food when he's cooking meats.

Spy

"non"

You did not even SHOW him the cat and he was saying no.

You found a skinny black cat on the battlefield, took it and ran straight to spy to show him.

He doesn't want a feline shedding fur onto his suits, furniture or himself.

You keep the cat either way

The cat is very laid back, an older feline who just enjoys being in the sun.

He'll like the cat one day, but not early on.

The cat loves him though, always wants to be inside of his smoking room and wanting to lay in-front of the fireplace.

He'll buy it expensive cat food, if its going to stay in his smoking room it won't be eating cheap, disgusting smelling cat food

Scout:

Coming back to base after a contracted mission scout was drained mentally and physically. With bandages covering parts of his body and small specs of blood seeping through them.

He opened the door and was met with you laying on his bed with a small orange kitten resting on top of your chest. Which rose and fell slowing telling him you were asleep.

His brain shut down from the sight, then he quietly (as quiet as scout can) moved towards the bed and cooed at the kitten. Its purring loud against his hand as it stretched.

"awwwwwwww"

He pet the kitten as you stirred awake and he laughed.

Soldier:

Soldier always keeps track of his raccoons, and when one. Being Lieutenant bites, was missing he was on a destructive mission to find the mammal.

Crashing through doors, ripping lids from crates and shouting

"LIEUTENTANT!?"

At every dark spot in the base until through his train of destruction he stopped and saw you.

Bites was laid on your stomach, your hand resting on the raccoons head as the two of you slept through his search.

Pyro:

Pyro came bounding through the door, a skip in their step as their feet stalled and eyes focused on you. Laying on the couch on your stomach with a large gray cat laying on your back stretched out and purring softly.

"MHf!"

They gasped, shuffling over as their hand came to the cat's face. Carefully scratching its fur up top its head. With muffled glee they pet the cat and listened to your soft snores.

Demoman:

"aye, lass are you here-"

Demo stopped his sentence short as his eye saw you curled up on the sofa with the smallest kitten he had ever seen laid curled up within your sleeping figure.

Coming closer he chuckled, finding the view just adorable. petting the cat's body softly as it yawned and a soft purr echoed from it.

Heavy:

The large Russia had found you asleep with two extremely fluffy cats which sat up top of your chest and stomach.

Covering you in pure fluff as you slept on the couch of the base. Not waking when scout came over and tried to touch the cats, which both hissed at him.

Heavy sat down on the other end of the couch, conflicted as he rose a hand to move hair from your face and the cats both stared deep into his soul.

They watched him as heavy's fingers moved hair from your mouth and then touched the gray cat on your stomach. They happily purred loudly as scout complained in the background with medic cursing at him.

Engineer:

Turning his head to speak he paused, eyebrows furrowed as he saw you snoozing on the lounge chair he placed in the workshop for you.

Not confused from you sleeping, but from the white cat which was curled up on your lap. its eyes closed as it purred.

"Ain't that a sight"

He smiled, moving his goggles off his eyes to crouch down to the cat's level and pat it with his flesh hand. Then went back to work, but was careful to not use any of his machinery until you woke again.

Medic:

The 'doctor' had left quickly to fix up soldier after soldier had decided to blow his legs off. When he came back he saw you with your head resting on your hands on his desk. With Archimedes nested into your hair. Cooing proudly as the bird had moved it's body into your hair causing it to look as if it swallowed him up.

"Archimedies!?"

He exclaimed, rushing over cooing at the sight. Moving your hair from your face as you snored softly into your arms.

Making the doctor smile and the bird nested into your hair make a purr like noise.

Sniper:

He had left you for 5 minutes alone in his trailer and you had both managed to find a scraggy looking brown cat AND to fall asleep with the cat curled up on the crook of your neck.

Sniper felt his heart jump a little, confused on the cat but the view made him walk closer. Quietly for both you and the cat. Grabbing a blanket to cover you and moving hair from your face softly.

The aussie left you to sleep and just cleaned his refile with a smile

Spy:

He watched you take the cat from outside, the small thing was shaking and pathetic before you grabbed it and nuzzled your face into it.

It was a small black short hair and when spy saw you curled up with in on the couch he couldn't take the feeling of his chest tightening as he sighed and covered you and the cat with a blanket and quickly snapped a photo.

Smiling he placed the polaroid in his suit and left you and the cat to sleep.

Already knows where your ex lives because he kept a close eye on them, more like stalked him but he's just being a good American dad

Beheads your ex and places it on a spike to use as target practice

Throughout the day he brings raccoons into your room, offers you guns and his American blankets

Pyro

Covers you in all their plushies and blankets, leaving you covered in soft pink balloonicorns and fluffy blankets

They roast marshmallows for you, and gets engineer to help make hot cocoa

They'll creep out of the base and hunt down your ex for hurting you.

Heavy

Russian man rise up 💪

He cooks you a nice traditional Russian soup

Keeps you on the couch and brings all the food to you, keeps scout far from you in this state

Will read some Russian fairy-tales or novels to you, with the lights dim and you covered in blankets

Gives you a giant bear hug

If he comes across your ex he will knock them out and give their body to medic

Engineer

Texan Father mode activated

The moment he finds you crying he is instantly ushering you to his workshop and offering to cook anything you wish.

He'll let you vent to him, but if you need silence he'll just work on his mechanics while in the room with you.

You are his child, no ifs or buts

and no one hurts his kid

but he'd get spy to give him your ex's address

then would absolutely strip your ex's car for bits and pieces, taking the wheels, engine, battery, steering wheel you name it

He'd bring soldier with him for optimal damage

Demoman

Drunk off his head (as usual)

Offers you his scrumpy

look he doesn't know what to do, like scout but he's trying to show you he cares

If you refuse the scrumpy he'd offer you to sit with him and just be in each others presence.

May or may not rig your ex's house with explosives

Medic

Where do they live, whats their phone number, whats their email, whats their blood type who do they live with and are they healthy?

You tell him any of that and he's instantly found your ex, kidnapped them, and while they're alive he takes all their organs and makes it as painful as possible

When you come for medic for some comfort he'll coo, patting your back while offering you a nice warm drink. draping his (CLEAN) lab coat over your back and letting you stay on his chair.

He's not good with comforting, but will let you vent to him and just stay within the med bay

Probably asks heavy to comfort you after a while

Sniper

Scraggly old man

Like most of the other mercs he has no clue how to comfort you during this time

I mean he lives out in his van and rather live in the bush than in a house

He'd take you out into the bush to get away from society, and keeps watch in-case you are anxious about your ex finding you

if you ex was extremely abusive sniper would kill them with no remorse, but ensure the bullet hits them where it would make their death slow and painful.

Spy

Spy comforting? lol no, sorry

He would pat your shoulder awkwardly

When you leave he's already tracked your ex down (not hard since he'd been keeping tabs on them ever since you two got together)

Blackmails your ex into the ground, forces them to make a video apology, give up their belongings and more. He sends the video and all his collected photos and videos of their abuse to your ex's family.

By family i mean everyone who is merely connected with them

Would throw his card at you, telling you nothing as he lets you go crazy with his money

He thinks retail therapy would help

If you thank him for anything he'd wave you off, saying "he deserved it" and lighting another cigarette.

Scout

Since scout see's you as the younger sibling he's never had, his immediate reaction to seeing the enemy soldier hit your arm with his shovel, the sickening crack of your forearm echoes through the boston's ears. Thankful for his speed as he throws his guillotine straight for the soldier's neck, the man gurgled and coughed blood as he crumbled to the floor.

Scout will mention this time and hold it against you with a laugh, but makes sure to either get medic or a health-pack.

Soldier

Soldier is fighting, screaming and most importantly proclaiming his love to America as he shoots rockets at the enemy team. Till he catches the sight of you from the corner of his eye, and then your fist hitting the side of a spy's face.

The spy quickly attempted to back up, then shot a bullet through your thigh. He heard your pained reaction, and before the Frenchie could finish the job Soldier swung his equalizer and lobbed off his head, a gnarly sight but he couldn't have some French Commie taking down his American Soldier in training.

Pyro

Pyro is on their asses the mere moment they hear your shouting and the voice of the scout. Pyrovision glitching as they watched the scout swing his bat at your face, before the bat could touch a hair on your head pyro pounced and with their homewrecker in both hands they swung over and over, with pure anger and vigor at the Boston's head.

They turned the scout into a mush of flesh on bone.

Afterwards they check on you, checking being picking you up and calling for medic.

Heavy

He takes the man's head in one palm, and crushing it like an apple.

Heavy is protective of his family, and due to your young age in this environment his blood is boiling. He puffs air harshly through his nose, as if he were a bull and if they dare land a bullet or blade on his family? Consider their limbs ripped from their bodies.

If you are injured he takes you to medic, though most of the time medic will be with him.

Demoman

He is drunk more than 98% of the time on the battleground, yet this doesn't dampen his reaction of charging right into the pyro and swiping their head from it's shoulder before they could land their axtinguisher onto your burning body.

You will need to stop him from throwing his scrumping on you if you're still on fire, look he's trying.

Engineer

Dell doesn't get angry, he's concerned when he sees you stumbling up the stairs. burnt marks on your skin and blood dripping from bullet holes in your arms.

Then he see's the bastards which had done this to you, his own kid hurt by the heavy medic pair who looked so full of themselves. Laughing, until the sentry beeps and locks onto them. Engie is thankful for his sentry placement, and smiling at the pair before they get killed and blown to bits.

He checks up on you as his dispenser heals you, like the good dad he is.

Medic

'How did you get hurt??'

Is his main question, he took his eyes off of you for one second and a demoman was already stumbling towards you. He jabs his ubersaw into his face, killing the drunk Scot.

He heals you of course, but lectures you on staying near him and not running off. He keeps you close to himself and heavy for the rest of the game .

After the battle he does a quick checkup on your then shoes you away to finish his paperwork, and experiments.

Sniper

Shoots a bullet right through the eyes of the engineer who was around 3 seconds of delivering the final blow with his gunslinger onto you. He grumbles and waves you off if you mention it after the battle, but if you thank him with coffee he has a warm feeling but just acts like the old man he is.

Spy

He's not a good dad. Quite the opposite.

But for once, after seeing the pained expression on your face from the needles in your arms is the first time, since scout's birth that he feels like a father. And acts like one.

He strikes the medic in the back, swiftly pulling his butterfly knife from the medic and kicking his dying body away with a sneer.

'You are too reckless'

He mutters to you before brushing his hand on his suit jacket and disappearing into smoke.

⚾ Tall 6’1ft man wants to be the big spoon but in the end you two become a mess of limbs and hes there laughing as you grumble trying to reach the water on the bedside table.

“Scout let me go i need water” “Hmmm nah” “Scout >:(“

⚾ He is like a fucking radiator despite his thin stature. Cuddling with him during winter is the best.

⚾ He likes physical contact since he wasn’t given it a lot when he was younger, touch starved looking ass.

⚾ Play with his hair, trace circles in his palms whatever he just wants contact.

⚾ Likes to talk and ramble when you two cuddle, he can’t stand silence and either needs to speak or just listen to your voice.

⚾ Melts in your arms if you just read him a book and scratch his scalp.

⚾ Denies the cuddling to all the other mercs, then spy will pull out a photo of the two of you sleeping wrapped in each others hold and he would combust and try to swipe it from him.

“Spy!? What da hell give me that!” “Ah, non”

⚾ Cuddling during movies is a MUST for him.

Mercs with an underage reader who looks older than she really is so she gets hit on by older men alot? which clearly makes her uncomfortable.. Maybe this happens while shes out shopping and the catcaller is stupid enough to do to it while ____ is around, how would he react?

Scout:

Having grown up with only a mother as a parent he always was protective of the women close to him in his life.

Now with you being like a sister to him and the daughter his mother never had, he has to be stopped from pulling out his scattergun in the mall at this cat-caller and just unloading every bullet he has into his head.

Soldier:

Jumping over tables, chairs and people to get to this sickening cat-caller. You either have to attempt to get soldier off of the man or just let soldier scream and punch the cat-caller while shouting about America and War.

Either the catcalled is let off with a few bone breaks or let off in a casket

Pyro:

Through pyrovision all they see is your face turning to comfort and a large monster made of gray goo in the place of the cat-caller, they mutter something through the mask.

Pyro doesn't want to engage at first but if the cat-caller says anything more they are jumping at him with their fire-axe.

Bashing in the skull of the cat-caller, only seeing this gray goop dissipate then they turn and skip back to you all giddy and happy.

Heavy:

Stands behind you, his shadow fully covering you as his presence itself makes the cat-caller almost piss himself. Being protective of all the women in his life, he is standing there like a bear ready to mutilate that man.

He grabs the guy's head head to say something to the cat-caller.

Which you cannot hear but makes that man go running from the hills and the Russian to come back and usher you to the deli.

Demoman:

If he isn’t piss drunk he is more calm, moving you away from the cat-caller and changing the subject to something more your to interests.

But if demo is drunk? Well, there is a bomb in the cat-caller's car, a bomb in his pockets, a bomb in his shoe, a bomb in his hat. There is not one place a bomb won’t be. And I mean it.

Engineer:

Being a Southern gentleman he talks to the cat-caller in his calm Texan accent, buttering him up making the man feel guilty acting like you are his kid.

Then when the man is more less on edge he unsheathes his gunslinger, and threatens to rearrange his body into a way which will make him never be able to talk to women again.

He puts on the glove and walks back to you, offering to buy you ice-cream or any sweet treat.

Medic:

Sniper:

Sniper doesn’t say anything in the moment.

He stays quiet, moving you to walk away from the cat-caller.

But late at night, while the cat-caller is going home drunk in the dark of the night. He tracks him down and plants a bullet deep in-between his eyes.

Spy:

That cat-caller has a target on his back now.

Spy may seem indifferent while the two of you walk past the cat-caller, but inside he has thinking of all the ways he could ruin that man’s life. Already prepared to unleash hell on him.

He stalks him, unearths private files, indecent photos of him, tax fraud, any criminal record he has, all accounts of his verbal assault and more to ensure he never can get a job or live a life ever again.

Scout:

Scout watches you take out bugs from the base constantly, be it crickets or beetles they are not dying in your presence.

You save scout from all the bugs that appear in his room from all the food he eats in his room.

But when your foot merely touches the battlefield? That good personality is thrown out the window and replaced with a bloodthirsty maniac.

Your weapons are more explosive than scouts, think demoman’s weapons.

And you just charge into the enemy crowd, you only will be stopped in your death.

Cue the 60/4 kill to death ratio you have and wave off when scout's jaw is touching the floor in shock.

He rather the more ‘kind’ version of you, at least with him.

Soldier:

Soldier is some of the same, but only to his raccoons

And you are also very soft and cuddly with his raccoons

“What animals do you like?” “My raccoons” “Soldier’s Raccoons”

Soldier and you are a force to be reckoned with.

He doesn't care what weapons you have because you both are going to paint the walls and floor red

You stop to show him a butterfly of American colours and he screams an American chant and runs into the group of enemies with his shovel high.

He loves you even more when you offer him the head of the enemy soldier with a grin.

Pyro:

You and Pyro both love all the insects and animals around the base, saving small ladybirds from soldier and saving scout from grasshoppers.

Pyrovision makes it so they don’t see all the gore and death you do

Pyro just skips along with their flamethrower and giggling to themselves as you scream while running into the enemy base.

You come out covered in blood with a badge you stole from a dead body and you clip it to pyro’s suspender.

To them you are just pink, with candy stuck to your side and your hair curled and turned a soft pastel pink.

Yeah, they like how you look after battles.

Engineer:

He finds it adorable as you show him the small cricket you found in his workshop.

He’s made you a little enclosure for a lizard you found in the base, helping you clean it and care for the large enclosure.

On the battlefield when you skip back to him with a beetle you found to show him.

Then you crack open a spy’s skull as soon as you hear the de-cloak noise.

You stick around his building for a bit, scaring off the Frenchman and engie gives you a kiss before you scamper off to beat men to death.

Heavy:

Heavy is scared mostly, but also proud.

He finds it sweet how you care for all the random animals you come across, even holding up a cat you found (he does not know how you even found it)

You guys now own a very fluffy cat.

Then when his eyes meet yours on the battlefield you are bashing a medic’s head open with your melee weapon, his blood covering your front side.

Its nice knowing you can take care of yourself, but also that you aren't yearning to bash skulls in all the time.

Demoman:

Drunk out of his mind when you place a dog onto his lap

You smile and pat it as the small German shepherd barks and makes demo almost fall off his chair.

He’s gotten used to your kind nature off the battlefield, taking animals to safe spots outside the base and somehow finding a dog which was abandoned.

Demo stays out of your way during battles, as you grasp onto the face of a scout and bash it into the wall.

He gives you a thumbs up and drinks from his scrumpy bottle.

He loves you murder machine or not.

Medic:

He’s proud seeing you go apeshit on the battlefield

Tries not to mention all his baboon experiments to you, and laughs when you just grab Archimedes like a burger and the bird is just cooing happily.

You protect him during battles, no questions asked.

Heavy might be the brute force and a meat shield but you kill the spies and scouts trying to ambush him.

Hearts in his eyes when you appear covered in blood asking kindly for heals.

He pockets you a lot, you and heavy are the two he sticks to in battle,

Spy:

He’s got photos on photos of animals you've found.

Is happy knowing you can hold your own on the battlefield, but also when you saved him from the enemy soldiers, he thanks you quickly and runs off.

He loves you, but finds your methods of fighting…. barbaric.

Spy does appreciate how you just pick up the bugs in his smoking room and race to show pyro.

Knows you can take care of yourself but sometimes he stands in your shadow and watches as you pull the heads off the soldier.

You have trinkets from the enemies you've killed and you offer them to him like a cat.

Sniper:

He takes you on camping trips, and the amount of animals you pick up and show to him is nice until he turns around to you holding a baby crocodile.

You love the birds he feeds around his camper-van and you baby the owl he cares for.

He watches you from the scope, and is grateful he isn't on the receiving end of your bullets and fists.

The way you run through enemies with medic healing you makes him just the tinge jealous.

You scare him sometimes.

The Australian knows you wouldn't hurt him but seeing you with a knife scares him.

He’s speechless, your hand still gripped around his wrist. You look angry with him, but the feeling of your touch on his wrist makes him red, you drop his hand.

He would quickly spit out, messing up words as you raise an eyebrow as he stumbles and runs around the corner. Heart beating fast and his face red.

Soldier:

Im sorry but soldier does NOT get flustered, but you make his heart beat widely when you talk with his racoons in a baby voice,

“Awww aint ya cuties, whats your names huh”

“Sergeant Smith, the one with the medal is lieutenant bites

“what cuties they all are”

He says with speed as you nuzzle the raccoon and baby talk it while laughing, he’s staring for a while before you look up to him.

“You okay solly?”

“Affirmative!”

His heart is widely beating as you treat his pets like your own, giving them food while you think he isn’t looking and always happy to see them when he takes them into base. (even if medic hates them)

Pyro:

They laugh and clap as you flick open a lighter to show them the hello kitty lighter you had bought.

“See! its a pink flame, isn’t that cool!?”

“mpHmH!”

“Anyway this is for you anyway, gotta go see medic; dont burn the place down!”

You toss them the lighter, and wave.

Pyro sits there, holding the lighter in their hands as their face is a bright red under their mask. Laughing as their body buzzed and felt her hands move to flicker the lighter

Happy knowing it came from you.

Demoman:

“Yeah, an she carried your drunk ass to bed; what a sight HA”

Scout teased, demoman’s face flushed red as you walk in. Waving.

“Hey you three, what's up?”

“Tellin ol’ demo here how he ended up back in his bed”

“Yeah! an look at the drunkard”

His face was a dark red, a. hot feeling radiating as he grummbled and burried his head in his arms.

“Hm? oh yeah did you drink the water i left you?”

He mutters, you raise an eyebrow but the other two men laugh to themselves as demo grumbles into his arms.

Heavy:

A bowl of hot soup laid before heavy, you standing with a white apron tied around you with a smile.

“What are you waiting for? taste it”

He takes the spoon, blows on the soup and takes a sip. His eyes widen as he feels the taste of his mothers soup on his tongue.

“Does it taste right? not sure if i got it all correct, russian is hard for me to read”

You smile, he coughs softy. Nodding, face a soft pink as you stand like a sun in the kitchen.

“Da, its like how my mother used to cook”

He stumbles over a few words, yet you look at him with a tiled head and a bowl of your own.

Engineer:

Engi had been tinkering on his sentry all night, large bags under his eyes as you place down a place of cut red apples with a bottle of juice.

“Engi, eat something”

“I- oh thanks darlin”

He would say with a smile, face red as he ate. You standing there with crossed arms.

“Take a break soon, we need you tomorrow”

Your small act of affection causes him to stutter and laugh softly, scratching the back of his neck slowly sipping the juice you gave him. Looking over his blueprints, just waiting there for him to finish and take a break.

Medic:

It was a hectic battle so far, medic was tired healing the scout and not noticing the enemy demoman behind him he dropped his gun and readied for the impact of sword against his neck, when it didn’t come and the sound of a body dropping make him look up.

You turn back to him with blood dripping from your face and body.

“You okay doc? He didn’t hurt ya did he?”

“i- nien- nien he didnt”

He’s red, standing there staring at you as you look feral with the demoman’s blood soaking into your clothes and skin,

“Doc? ya there?”

He stumbles over his words as he holds his medigun close, waving to you as he speeds away to go heal heavy who was yelling for him. Almost tripping over his feet as he couldn't remove the image of you from his mind.

Sniper:

Sniper grunts, holding the wound on his arm. The blood bleeding through his fingers as you come around the corner, head perking as you walk back.

“Snipes?? what happened jesus,”

“nothin nothin”

He bites back a groan of pain as he went to grab the med back, you kneel before him.

“Snipes move your hand, jesus what even happened”

“its foin, its nothIN-“

He takes a sharp breath in, and with a delicate touch you move it, which feels like electricity through his body you take the hand holding the wound and place it down.

His face was growing a thick red, heat radiating from his cheeks as he looks away from you, treating his wound like glass even if both of you were war criminals.

Making quick work of the bullet wound, you wipe your hands on your pants and look at his red face.

“Aight, should be good. I’ll get medic to heal ya if we come through”

“tha, thanks mate”

“Try not to get hit again”

Spy:

It takes a lot to fluster the spy, but with you?

You grabbed the spy's arm, pulling him down as a soldier walked past you two. The two of you cramped against each other behind the crate, him in for lap with his two lanky legs just strewn around you two.

His face is red under his mask, breath quicking as he faces away from you.

You look up, and then push him up.

“Be careful, next time i ain't saving you”

“oui, merci,”

His words slip into french as his feet stumble and you catch him before falling.

“What, are you sick? Is that why your head is out of the game?”

“no, non, its nothing ami, merci for hiding me”

He cloaks and quickly leaves as his face was red and his head was clouded with you. As you stood there, a confused look on your face as you kill the other spy.

So when the first thunderstorm rolled in over Teufort scout was terrified, sweat pooling on hsi brows as the roaring sound of thunder rolled over the land, slowly getting closer and closer to the base.

You find him alone behind a few crates, this cocky boston reduced to a rocking lanky mess as a crack of lighting comes over head.

He jumps, laughs it off as his face is pale.

You would need to sit down next to him, and offer him your embrace.

The two of you have been friends for a few years, with your garden on the outside of his lab he likes to chat with you out his window.

Since you work with plants and their toxins he likes to listen to you talk about the poisons and the effects they have on living organisms

Lets you ramble while he sits there with his head in his palm giving you a large maniacal smile.

He is a deranged man so he is VERY interested with the effects some of these plants have on humans, if you dare mention something that could be used as a weapon against humans he is whipped and looking at you with large sparkling eyes.

You have a lot of poisonous plants in your greenhouse, and some in medic’s lab as decoration (be it they’re safer to be around)

Medic accepts any gifts like this with open arms and a large maniacal smile on his lips

Would buy you books on plants, and like A LOT of books

Lets you use body parts for your studies, or just straight up enemy teammates he took from the battlefield for you.

“Oh Ja! before i forgot here :)” “Medic is that the blu scout” “Ja :)”

You two work together with his syringe guns and you make them more deadly, so he can actually protect himself.

Things like cardiac glycosides from foxgloves you would coat the syringes in and gift them to him and medic would give a large goofy evil smile.

If you haven’t finished your degree he aids you in studies (he had a medical license.. once)

Confesses his love to you with a bundle of foxgloves, yellow oleanders, euphorbia and calla lilies (don't worry hes wearing gloves)

Engineer

Engineer and you have been friends for a while, and after a few drinks you mention your degree that you are pursuing.

He gives you snacks and drinks while you are studying.

He’s got 11 phds of course he’s going to help you.

Even if he hasn’t done anything within the realm of plant toxins he tries to help, makes you a small greenhouse which you can customize and change the environment within to grow more of these plants.

“Engi!? This is so cool, holy shit!” “Well thanks darlin’, all the best for you”

Still a hc of mine he calls you darlin’, sugar and other pet names while hes crushing on you.

Listen, he may be a southern gentleman but he is a maniac who cut off his hand. He will first ask you if you need any human parts for your studies, if you say yes he’s on a mission to get the enemy spy. Listen, it's killing two birds with one stone.

You two work together in a comfortable silence, apart from the occasional radio or pyro’s muffled speaking it’s full of you studies your plants and engineer tinkering (and studying you)

Plays his guitar for you, and gets you away from work when you’re too stressed.

He will look up types of toxic plants and will give them to you, more the seeds if anything.

Lets you ramble about your studies, he sits next to you with a beer in his hand and his guitar in the other. Strumming it softly as you rant about your work, smiling as you talk passionately about it.

Loves to spend quality time with you, doesn’t matter if you two are silently working on two separate things he loves that he’s around you.

He confesses one night, while the sun is setting around the campfire he would remove his hard hat. Smile and with a stutter he confesses his love to you.
