2023.6.6 ゼルダの伝説Tears of the Kingdom

⚠️ストーリーのネタバレを大いに含む可能性があります！ネタバレ喰らいたくない人は読まないでね！！！

先日無事にティアキンクリアしました〜…！真エンディングまでは100時間くらいでした。長かった…。本来の予定では死ぬ気でやって1週間ほどでクリアする予定だったのですが睡眠時間を削りに削っても終わらない終わらない。前作でも広かったマップが空と地下まで広がり、ブレワイのマップが小さく感じます。絶対におかしい。日によってはプレイ時間が20時間超える日もありました。自分でもちょっと引いた。

アクション

前作とはアクションのベースは一緒なのに戦闘スタイルや敵との戦い方が更に幅広くなって人によって色々な闘い方があって楽しいです。ゾーラ武器が強い。Twitterを見てると勇者らしからぬリンクが多数いたりもしますが…。ついこないだライネルを5体連続でしばいてきました。たのC！

ただホラー度増してないですか？瘴気魔とエンカウントした時本気でこの世の終わりかと思ったし、死ぬ気で倒したと思ったらガノンドロフ出てくるしで…。最初はワープして逃げました。貧弱な勇者で申し訳ない…。地底に初めて行く時もBGMでめちゃくちゃ恐怖心煽ってくるやん…！となりながら、今では「よっしゃ、センターオブジアース行くか！」くらいのノリです。慣れって怖い。

ストーリー

ガチ泣いた。龍の泪クリアした人は皆同志です。龍も泪もタイトルもそういうことやったんか〜！！！！！(クソデカ感情)ってなりますマジで…。クリアした後、リンクの周りに姫しずか咲き乱れてて脳みそ爆発するかと思いました。なかなかに酷いことしますね任天堂さん！！！(褒め言葉)

ゼルダの知識0でブレワイをやると「この遺跡なんや？」というものがたくさんあるのですがこのためにあったんやと、ここでそれを回収するんや…と。白龍がそうならフロドラ・ネルドラ・オルドラは一体…？ともなります。何より前作よりもリンクへの感情移入が桁違いで、ゼルダ助けなきゃ……という気持ちがどんどん大きくなっていました。偽ゼルダと戦う時にリンクがどんどん疲弊していっているところとか、危機に瀕した時に子孫たちが助けに来るとこもうわあああああああ！！！っとなる。記憶消してもう一回やりたい。

キャラクター

ラ、ラウル〜！！！ストーリー読んでて好きになりました。普段は冷静沈着なのに怒ると耳が震えるまでに感情露わにするとこ「うわ好き……」っていう感情しかない。ただ、前作の英傑だったりカッシーワは何処？？？という感じではございます。巷ではDLCで追加されるんじゃないかと噂されているので期待を胸に待とうと思います。リーバルに会いたい、切実に。

まだまだ話したいことは山積みなのですが長くなっちゃうのでこの辺で…

寒い地方のお話

TotKプレイ進捗報告。The へブラ地方。多大なるネタバレを含むのでご注意ください。

チューリとお別れしたくない一心でリト村事件解決を避けていたところ、あれよあれよと６月になってしまい、少しスピードアップして進めております。

そしてついに来てしまった風の神殿。

神獣アレンジしんどい。（号泣）

一つ目の神殿クリアした時にもしかして？と思ったんですが、やはり古の賢者はブレワイ英傑声優陣なんですね。リーバル先生が大人に成長していたら賢者ぽい話し方したのかなあとか想像しながら泣いてました。DLCで英傑に会わせてください……カッシーワさんとメドリちゃんにも会わせてください……。ゾーラの里でミファー声賢者出たら平静を保てる自信がありません。

歴代オマージュ多くてしんどいです。好きです。たったひとつのダンジョンだけで泣いてるのに真ED見たらどうなってしまうのか震えています。（龍の泪はぜんぶ集めて見てます。

JPN VS ENG Revali

        Many people ask me the difference between JPN and ENG Revali so I translated some dialogueXD

there some words in JPN that ENG cant translate that I'd like to point out:

He use 僕(boku)

Boku is like the first-person pronoun English doesn’t have. Usually use by man or young man in a casual way + respect. If Revali is to be more sarcastic and saltier he should use 俺(ore) giving him an extremely rough image.

Imagine a sassy warplane who can actually kill you USING BOKU(like a young jealous kid but can’t be too rude how can you hate someone who use boku its cute ok?

Comparing dialogue the translation just ruin my day

JPN: You've tried your best huh？(kimi ni shicha, gambattan janai ka?)          

Revali just giving you respect right there.  Don’t preen yourself just gone too far

JPN: This is(Medoh) my help for the time you’re fighting inside Hyrule castle. (kimi ga hairarujou de teki to tatakau toki, tatsukete ageru tameni ne)      tatsukete ageru tameni = giving help for (the benefit)of someone.    

In JPN Revali willingly giving help to Link when he fight Ganon. (Of course Link needs your help stop being so arrogant in English pls)

JPN: thank me too, ok?(kansha shite kure yo?) This one is ok. Matched his character well.

JPN: You still have thing left to do right? (mada yaru koto ga nokotteru daro?)

JPN: The princess, she will always wait for you                                                (a no hime wa... kimi wo zutto matte run da ze...)                                               ok, Zelda has been waiting an awful long time. its true. But  in JPN Revali trust that zelda will always wait for Link (its more beautiful IMO;-;)

JPN: Its frustrating...but I accept the defeat. (kuyashii kedo... kanpai da..)             -Hes talking about how Link can achieve something he could not. Even he doesn’t really like it but he finally acknowledge Link and accept his defeat.             -I have no idea how this impactful dialogue gone wrong. Telling Link is just lucky to defeat Vah Medoh.Im-

JPN: From all of us. Link, you are the key (to defeat Ganon) (kimi koso bokura no kaname da)                                                                                            -I think bokura(we) mean all of the champion + Zelda trusted that link is the key to defeat calamity because of his courage and skill NOT A FUCKING SHEER LUCK YO 要(kaname) literally  mean the key, the main point. IM PISSED!!!  It just asinine凸ಠ益ಠ)凸

To sum things up: Ok, Revali is prideful of himself and brag about how good he is. And he can be like that cuz we see how he worked  so hard to get better with his skill just to be the sidekick for Link only because of the sacred sword he own.Of course, Revali must be jealous (not hating Link). Being a no-name warrior, not a town’s chief or royalty. The only way he gets to stand here is for his skill.     (Revali doesn’t hate Link for sure. He even wanted to fight with him no matter he win or lose .It's the rival-to-friend friendship ya know. its in the dlc)                             But after 100 years Link proves himself by defeating the divine beast. JPN did a great job how Revali’s character developed to accept the truth and willingly help Link to achieve his goal. ENG Revali lacks that kind of character development which is the key(要kaname) why this character is so beautifully written.

Thank you so much for reading this long translation. I really appreciate it. Japanese is so hard to translate to other language like English. there are many words from JPN which ENG don't have a word to describe. (like boku,watashi,ore ENG just use I so we see their personality less) Hope you enjoy it and don’t hesitate to correct any point I get wrong. ✨

弓の持ち方もだけど、何気ない仕草も左手あげてるからリーバル左利きなんだと私は思うんですよ

I can tell from the way he holds his bow, and the way he raises his left hand even in casual gestures, that Revali is still left-handed, in my opinion.
