💖: What is your biggest unpopular opinion about the series?

Re OFMD, I actually think Izzy plotline in s2 was great. Our antagonist got a lot of character grows etc, but holy shit can people stop discoursing about him, both stans and those who dislike that character.

Re Gomens, and I am aware this is unpopular but. Season 2 was badly written, and fed heavily on tumblr headcanons.

Okay so less about characters, but I really don't think David Tennant is hot. To each their own, but at this point DT for me is like. A family member. That's aunt Georgia's husband over there, father of five. Yes I have a parasocial relationship with the Tennants.

💚: What does everyone else get wrong about your favorite character?

Edward motherfucking Teach would not listen to Taylor Swift in a modern AU and also he would still wear leather jacket and he would listen to metal. Because as opposed to the symbolism of these closes in the OFMD canon verse, in modern world these things mean something else, and writing a modern AU you should be aware of that. Not scene kids wouldn't get it, I guess.

28. How quick or slow is your character to resort to physical violence in a confrontation?

my diego doesn't like to resort to physical violence, he thinks it's a waste of time and he's perfectly confident in his ability to tear someone down with words alone 💀 that being said, he would not hesitate to fight back if anyone put their hands on him first. he will not initiate, but he has no problem defending himself (or someone he cares about). his rage is dangerous, though, he has a hard time keeping it in check sometimes so that could potentially get him into more trouble than he's prepared for 😭

41. Does your character feel that they deserve to have what they want, whether it be material or abstract, or do they feel they must earn it first?

a little of both? my diego grew up in a wealthy household and was offered a lot of opportunities due to his high intelligence, but he still had to fight for the parts of his life that he's now proud of. the things he did have given to him with no effort on his part were things he didn't care about or have a desire for. he fully believes in working hard for what he wants, but i'd be lying if i said there wasn't a tinge of "well i want it so i should have it 😡" in there... 💀 but no matter how much he thinks that, he's still more than willing to work his ass off for what he wants. gives him bragging rights.

44. How easy or difficult is it for your character to say “I love you?” Can they say it without meaning it?

young diego wasn't opposed to saying it without meaning it and using it as a manipulation tactic. few have said it to him while meaning it. but as he matures, he starts to regard the statement with more significance. vulnerability is a very hard thing for him, admitting feelings is even harder, but once those feelings have been established and he knows it's mutual he's not afraid to say it every so often.

Coffee in bed this morning, brought to me by my Stede-coded partner. ☕️👩🏽💖👱🏻‍♂️☕️

Sitting here catching up on y'all's posts, and at the same time fielding texts from my sister.

She took her very white friend to the ER in Austin this morning with presumed gallbladder issues. Staff did intake on the friend without asking for ID or proof of insurance.

Now she's waiting for the friend, and she's watched two Mexican (Texas speak for brown; they could be from Texas, Mexico, Central America) patients come in and be asked for multiple forms of ID, their SSN, and so on, before anyone will even look at them. They sent one of them away and he came back 20 minutes later with ID. 20 minutes.

And I start remembering last night, and the little queer gaming con I went to in support of my partner and his young teen.

While we were registering, an attendee came up to me and said I looked like someone they knew, and what was my name?

I answered with my government name (I'd considered using my stage name on my badge, shoulda done that), and they recoiled. Looked me over for a beat and said, "So you're Israeli?!?!"

(Whoa, my person, that's several long leaps to a wrong conclusion, though I support what I guess is your anti-Zionism.)

Taken aback just long enough to keep my sigh and eyeroll internal, I corrected, "No, my name is Mexican."

And they recoiled again, "You're from Mexico."

"I... yeah. Sure."

I didn't manage to keep the sigh internal that time. No matter. They'd already turned away to my white companions to invite them to play board games with them.

(I saw one other person of color, likely Native, at the con. Two of us out of maybe 40 people in the room. We're in a large city in the Upper Midwest, but this all could have happened anywhere in the US.)

Anyway. These are the things on my mind as I drink my Princess Coffee and read all your comments on @tfemteach's post about Izzy's missing apology, and I just want to say that I love each and every one of you who has also been feeling ill and ill-served about it. Whatever your reasons. I see you and love you.

I’m definitely not looping it for writing inspiration or anything (also izzy I see your song choice and I am tempted to roast you for being a mobile gamer 😜)

Last Thing You Googled: “There’d Better Be a Mirrorball.” I was looking up song lyrics (I listen to other artists besides arctic monkeys, I swear 😅)

Time: 11:47 PM when I’m writing this. But I usually queue most of my posts so it’ll be 10 AM when I’m posting this :3

Dream Trip: Hmmm, idk. I’m not much of an explorer lol. Maybe Japan or New Zealand? Just to say that I’ve been there before. Honestly, as long as I can go either shopping or to an amusement park I’ll be happy as a clam.

Last Thing You Read: It’s rare, but sometimes I want to read a cute high school AU with a love triangle. So the last thing I read was a tyrus fanfic called Of Course by CaithyCat & imnotanauthor. I’ve been rewatching Andi Mack, an old comfort show of mine. I know it’s a disney show “for kids” but sometimes I just feel like watching disney or nickelodeon shows ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Also this one in particular I started watching when I was bedridden for a month so it’s very dear to me :)

Last Book You Enjoyed Reading: Believe it or not, I actually read a paperback book last week. I was looking for a quote, so I opened my volume 2 of *cough* Scum Villain’s Self Saving System *cough*. And then I found the quote. And then I just kept reading until I was halfway through volume 3 and it was like 3 in the morning. Seriously, that book makes my brain go a little bonkers. The scene where Shen Qingqiu tries to hide Luo Binghe from Zhuzhi Lang nearly made me cry from laughing too hard.

Last Book You Hated Reading: Excluding fanfics, I can’t think of one… Maybe Tokyo Ghoul/:re back in 2017? I remember really hating that manga. Honestly, I’m really picky when choosing something to read so the stories I end up disliking I tend to just drop them and then completely forget they ever existed.

Favorite Thing to Cook/Bake: I’m kind of a terrible chef ngl. But the reviews are in and I make a pretty stellar spaghetti. Whenever my niece visits, she always asks me if I can make her my spaghetti because it’s way better than any she’s ever had. Getting that kid to eat anything is a struggle, so I’m really glad that she not only eats my food, she asks for seconds.

Favorite Craft to Do in Your Free Time: When I think of the word “crafts”, I imagine, like, art projects made by hand, so I’m not sure I can include writing and gif-making on this one. So excluding those, does drawing count? Even before I got a drawing tablet, I used to doodle all the time even on scraps of paper. I’m not really good at it, but it’s always been something I do just to kinda get my brain to chill.

Most Niche Dislike: Hmm. You know, it’s funny that you mentioned nail polish, izzy, because the first thing that popped into my head was long nails. I have tried to be that girl who gets a full set at the nail salon and I never did it again because the sound of my nails clacking against things bugged me. Like, I can’t even stand the feel of my own natural nails when they’re the slightest bit too long lol.

Opinion on Circuses: Never been to one. But, clowns slightly freak me out so I don’t have the best opinion of their home turfs.

Do You Have Any Sense of Direction: I’d say I do. Or maybe I think I do by association? My parents both have a pretty bad sense of direction and I used to help them a lot by printing out maps and searching for streets in relation to where we were. One of my older brothers used to always assign me as designated navigator because I’m good at keeping an eye on where we are and how to get back on track should we get lost

And now about the crew finding out about Stede's pregnancy, just how EXACTLY do they find out? And what the fuck does Izzy do about the situation?

If male pregnancy isn't normal in this universe then I'd imagine him being confused and pissed that Edward and Stede are getting a kid, I also remember something about him liking kids on one of my asks that you answered?

Oh and I KNOW Lucius is also the reason the two got together, so how would Lucius react to finding out? And also how would everyone react if Stede and Ed allow the crew to be the baby's uncles?

I bet some of them would have some kind of weird reaction like Buttons and others are absolutely happy that they get to be uncles 💖💖

He is! We all love Ed, lol.

I really have to think about it. I honestly like the idea of them knowing before Stede or Ed do. I’m imagining a scenario kind of like that of the first episode, in which the group is planning to mutiny. But instead, it’s then discussing what the hell is up with one of their captains. He’s lacking around, vomiting, placing, mentioning pains, getting snippy, just acting weird (“Or weirder than usual,” as Jim supplies). Frenchie proposes that he’s been cursed, while Oluwande suggests that the captain just picked up some bug on land.

“Aye, it is a bug. But not some little critter insect one can squash under your foot. Though I suppose you could, if you feared no retribution.” Button ends up interrupting and informs the crew, quite simply, that he can sense the reality of a pregnancy. Everyone is shocked but, once they think about it, they suppose it makes sense.

As for Izzy, I don’t think he would be present for this. But he finds out about it later, still before Ed and Stede. He’s watching as the crew starts behaving differently to Stede, fretting about how he’s feeling, that he be careful how he walks. Hell, the Swede would probably one offer to chew Stede’s for him (“What if those bites are too big and choke the little one!?”). He finally orders them privately to give him answers before someone finally spills the beans. He is thrown for a loop, horrified that there would not be concrete proof that Blackboard and Stede fucking Bonnet had sex, and yet another thing pulling his captain away from piracy. However, as I did mention, Izzy is very soft when it comes to children, so he does come around with time.

I think Lucius would find out when the crew does, but he outright gags at the thought. I suspect that Lucius isn’t a fan of babies and is just thinking about how much more work he’ll have to do, scribbling down everything the little thing gets up to. Plus now he’s fending off Black Pete’s suggestions that they try to have a baby, which he will not allow in the slightest. Still, he remains quite supportive of Stede and is happy that he’s so excited when he finds out.

I say "fuck" constantly but so do some of the characters in canon, so we'll see if it ends up feeling too repetitive or if it works how it is

Izzy and Ed get the most major injuries, Jim and Archie and some other random guy in Ed's way get minor ones, and Stede and Fang and Frenchie are also there getting hurt emotionally, so if you count that it's a total of 8!

Already answered here but also I think I would pack cider and a bottle opener and also VKs because I like Blue flavour but I'd still get a multipack because the other flavours are good too and maybe prosecco and mango juice and cups to mix the prosseco and white wine and sours and gin especially the ones with sparkles because those are fun and cups to mix some of them and this addendum is largely because I forgot about alcohol but actually thinking about it now it would be quite nice. And also pretzels from lidl bakery that have been in a bag with brownies from lidl bakery so that the brownies are now salted which makes them taste better because I forgot about this thought f thing last time and pizza rolls but the kind you get from a bakery section and also carrot cake because I can't believe I forgot and chocolate and orange cookies my beloved and also one time my mate made some rolls cookies that were really good so those as well. And fox's viennese biscuits and some little chocolate chip cookies and cherry jammy dodgers and party rings and breadsticks and those 4 dip selections that you can get but the two different kinds of them. Also brownies in general are so good like there's this place and the do such super good amazing brownies like they had a jammy dodger brownie and it was so good. Also again the crisps Snaps and flamin' hot cheetos and Pringles in their fancy flavours and their paprika and prawn cocktail flavours. And pom-bears

cinnamon for baking because a recipe won't even ask for it and I'll shove it in there and smoked paprika for cooking because it just tastes very good

autumn because I'm basic but also I do a lot better in the cold then the heart and I love kicking the leaves and I love fireworks and it's when I thick warm drinks and food taste best because it's starting to get cold enough you need the reheating but it's not so cold you're recovering from the heat

▪️🌂Pluto trine ascendant🌂▪️

- Pluto, the planet of secrets, fears, regeneration, and power itself makes a powerful impact when in an angular house or aspecting the angles -

angular houses (1st, 4th, 7th, 10th) and ascendant can also be known as having a similar impact like the 1st house, as the ascendant situates itself around the 1st house, in a cusp as it’s not directly on the 1st house and a cusp refers to between something. The ascendant is between the 12th and 1st house, so it is known as a “rising sign”/ascendant, as it is rising in your birthchart.

So naturally when Pluto trines the Ascendant, the individual’s life will be somewhat concealed or hidden from the public eye, yet at the same time their presence will make an impact because people will be curious about their lives.

There may be rumors or speculation about what goes on behind the scenes in that individuals life and, often it's not what you'd expect or assume. Like the planet itself, there's a certain contrast between how the native “appears” vs how they rlly act and think in real life.

so many things to say fr first, ally is basically my soulmate 🥺🫂 like hyunjae who fits in any kind of story scenario, i believe that our shared interests and thoughts led to this awesome, cool and dynamic friendship ❤️‍🔥 it's crazy that suddenly one follow, led to another, to a reblog (to me fangirling once again), to me posting something, to ally commenting 💬 to her closing the gap 📮 and messaging me 📥 after. it's just so wild to think about and i really tend to ponder and think about stuff like origins of friendships quite often. if it wasn't for ally, i most probably would have never met anyone in this post. if i did meet them (which yk, i would like to believe i would have either way), i think it would've happened way further in the future. i love everyone here so much and i think i would have missed out on a lot if ally didn't basically pull me out of my shell 🐚 hyunjae (from what i see) can go to very mischievous, then supportive and then loveable—to me that's just ally ❄️🥺💓 ally, i am forever thankful that somehow God said "they're on the opposite ends of the world? let them be friends anyways!" 🥹

Oh- sure 💕💖💕

1) I like my art, i'm proud of it and i'm glad of all of the effort and all the improvment i've made over the years. I'm really happy about the fact I made significant progress and how different media i love made me more open and also helped making my art more varied and pleasant

2) I'm glad to know I'm certain about what I want to do. I no longer ask what I want to do in life. I know the job I want to do, the studies I want to do. I know what will make me happy, and it's having the job i've always wanted : infographist and 2D animator for videogames. I believe with my skills, i'd be a good illustrator and..even though I usually have low self esteem, i'm confident about my future job

3) I feel quite stronger, mentally. I'm still a very sensitive person because i always have been hypersentive. But overall, I feel better as of right now that when I was 11 years old, even though it feels like i didn't particularly change. It has passed quickly though, but it's encouraging to know i'm the way i am now (and i'm sure in a few years i'd say i'd be better in the new state i'd be in)

4) Not being pretentious or anything...I feel like I'm a kind person (i'm mostly told that, saying it feels a bit weird though). I'm learning from past mistakes and with my own principles, i think i'm not a bad person. I'm not perfect and I still can be moody but, overall, i'm not spiteful, and I know i won't be intentionally harmful, it's just not worth it. Plus I'm an empath and I get attached to people quickly

5) I'm loving. I love my dad, i love my boyfriend, I want to hug them and give them back all the care they've given me. Thank you so much 💖💖💖 i'm also glad of the friends i've made (irl and virtual) i didn't forget about you 💕💛
