I still CANNOT hear vividly like as if I were listening to actual music out loud.. #but I think it's developed more than my sight. AND interesting how this varies the creative process. a friend I was talking to on the phone #said they write by literally just watching stuff play before them like a movie. where my process is COMPLETELY different. AND that affects #the content/what details we focus on as well as our individual styles of writing have differences that can be traced back to that.. hrmm

i love reading things set in countries that i'm knowledgeable and/or have been to because i can point out really minor errors in fanfiction. i think the average american does not know that in england (and apparently some of asia! which i only just found out) there are switches on power outlets so you can just turn it off instead of unplugging it. like 9 times out of 10 that won't come up but on the off chance it does i'm like ohoho. this clown has never been to england...! my favorite part though is watching americans (specifically americans because i swear to god people who speak english as a second language and/or are from any other country have some idea of what it's like to have an accent / personally know people who have accents? idk) try to write british accents like it is REALLY funny. i literally only lived their for five years and i never picked up a full accent myself (certain words and tones i did but they're mostly gone after living in the states again for a few years) but between living there and having a ridiculous amount of family there & visiting them often (like once a year if im lucky) i like KNOW what british accents sound like. i think some americans genuinely dont even know theres more than one or two english accents i think some people think there's like posh english and chav english and nothing else. maybe scottish accent gets thrown in there if they remember the uk is not in fact just england. i would bet real money they've never heard a welsh accent. anyway my point is it's really funny watching people who don't know as much as i do write this stuff. like i see it and i understand how doctors read this and go Oh that is so medically inaccurate. i get them now. anyway i dont remember what my point here was but please know if you are attempting to write a british accent. reddit and youtube are your best friends if you don't have a british friend you can ask and also rest assured even if you do ONE google search. it will not be the worst attempt ive seen guaranteed

I feel *so strongly* about Suzume and it's not even for ME what the Fuck

#yeah i get the overarching theme of survival and mundane lives being precious applies more or less to everyone #but i IMMEDIATELY recognized that the movie was about natural disasters in japan and the population's collective trauma about it #the earthquake warnings throughout the film. and the scene after the first door where it showed people talking about the damages it caused #even how the worm/the Gates/the keystones as a way to abstract and mythologize natural disasters that were out of their control #it was so personal and intentionally designed. #throughout the film i kept thinking 'i wonder what the reception to this film in Japan was.' #meaning i wonder if it meant anything to anybody in japan or if it was just A Movie that no one cared about #i read a couple interviews and Shinkai stated in one that he was afraid of going to the area that was most affected by the 2011 quake #and some survivors in the area WERE offended that anyone would make a fantasy movie about it. #but an overwhelming number of people who considered themselves victims of the tsunami encouraged shinkai and said #that the movie told them things they needed to hear #idk creative work about trauma is SO IMPORTANT TO ME. even if it wasn't for me in any way it's so precious #suzume no tojimari #suzume spoilers

Ok but Dana being like ‘you don’t get it you don’t get it you don’t get it’ and Jason can’t respond bc he DOES get it! And he reacted worse! Dana, if a bit irresponsible, is doing smth purely productive for her community. Despite her issues with her sister she’s not targeting her or being fueled purely by anger (eh..complicated but yknow) etc. Jason DOES get it and he doesn’t know how to approach Dana besides telling her to just relax bc for him he went 10000% and then hit rock bottom and THATS when he had to pause and step back. If he and dick had that convo when he was at HIS worse it would’ve ended in a fist fight at best. He gets what Dana’s going through but he doesn’t know how to approach her because she’s coping! She has her supportive loving community around her, there’s never a question of whether she’ll go to bat for her sister; unlike early RH Jason! He doesn’t know how to deal with her because she has that safety net and the worst part is that he knows she’s disregarding it to an extent bc she’s never been in that same position he’s been in; she can’t ever be because she’s good and he’s not and he needs her to keep that and if he has to hound her and be backup and the voice of reason; by god if he has to be the Batman to her red hood he will!

#my first day admitted was v day and a councilor made me a Valentine’s Day card and so did a patient so that I would feel welcomed & loved #every friday we would give each other notes to say we were proud of them after a hard week or w/e they needed to hear #One time I was very overstimulated during mindful movement class from the music and a patient just sat with me and didn’t say much just #so I knew I wasn’t alone #or how my friend to this day would give me a hug whenever I was crying and I’d feel safe and protected #&&& also how everyone snuck out at night to cause a lil trouble like flipping the therapists name tags & some patients even made a bingo #game for stealing stuff ( I never did but it was funny for people to steal something like a spoon for no reason ) #so many good memories and I wish I could reunite with all of those kind souls and hug them and remind them that I’ll always love them #😭😭 #personal

My softest muse is definitely Vick. He's a 0 on the toughness scale, he's a big teddy bear and he will choose kindness over anything else at any point.

My toughest muse is probably Barbie. Girl is tough as nails and will not be stopped if she puts her mind to something. She doesn't take pain as a reason to stop and will go harder when it hurts.

2) Which Muse would blow through $1000 quickly?

Valentino, hands down. He spends $1,000 every day easily on things he doesn't even need. He loves to buy expensive things and will do so at all hours. He especially loves spending Vox's money. $1,000 is a drop in the bucket for him and he doesn't even notice spending it.

Quite a few of them do!

Valentino answers to Bunny from his lovers, it's a subspace trigger word for him. I assigned him Bunny because he's Cute And Horny, aka a rabbit, and a bunny sub is fairly common.

4) Are any of them up-to-speed on the latest trends? Anyone more old school?

Velvette, Vox, and Valentino are obsessed with always being on top of the next new thing.

Alastor hates new things and will fight them as much as he can.

5) Who has the best relationship with their siblings?

Valentino had a fairly good relationship with his siblings when he was alive. He had seven of them, plus three live-in cousins that were like his siblings.

Beelzebub, Ozzie, Valentino, and Ostello! They all love to sing and party, and they're all pretty good at it. Ostello was a pop-jazz singer when he was alive and before he died in Hell, too!

Gretchen. She doesn't think that she's very pretty, and would just feel embarrassed even going to watch.

Travis. He is constantly told he's very ugly, and he doesn't have a very high opinion of his looks.

its been months and i really am past the point of debating whether mike was intentionally lying in the monologue or not cause ultimately it just doesn’t really matter in the bigger picture and isn’t what we should be asking ourselves constantly...the whole point was the context in which it happened and how he was propelled into doing it. it would have never happened without will’s tiny little “you’re the heart” motivational push. it wouldn’t have happened without the crucial role of the painting or the van scene beforehand and that should be enough proof it was never meant to be viewed as a fully genuine expression of feelings lmfao
