Lena typology hell quips
That feeling when you’ve literally written a 3k word analysis on intj Lena but then ur like what if she’s entj (giggles manically)
but she is the most 135 to ever 135 in any media
I’m honestly taking this as an excuse to binge all of her scenes again, it’s called verifying my viewpoint okay
also my personal typings for Lena + notes on all of them
Intj: I mean it just makes sense,I think that the entj energy I’m getting is just her being LIE in socionics lol. obviously I still use functions but dichotomies are still an integral part of mbti and jungian typology; introversion > extraversion all the way
1w9, sp/sx: I had an entire arc with her enneagram, I considered e5 (like I think so and sp?) and so6; but after doing some more research skim reading the enneagram of passions and virtues, she is so e1 pilled it’s crazy, while I’m not particularly passionate on sp1 I mean yeah it fits the most. I’m a little iffy on her 2nd most likely but secondary sx just bc of s5 lol
(Actually reconsidering enneagram bc 4F really contradicts w sp1 and honestly she kinda lacks the inherent warmth of a sp1 lol, she would be a cool so5, like I really don’t know which other physics placement would fit)
135: her 3 fix, her fucking 3 fix. I see 5>6 mainly bc of Lena’s withdrawal and holding back from the world it screams the avarice of a 5
LVEF: I am obsessed with this, I am in love with this typing, especially 3E Lena like the other py vote on pdb is like I think VLFE ? and guys how is she 4E, like she embodies the duality of the third emotion sosososos much and like unbothered emotions?? I just think it’s a poor interpretation of her character
Melancholic (dom): I actually typed her as mel-chol for the longest time but I think I was focusing too much on the like the goal oriented aspect of choleric than the actual temperament itself which she hardly fits
RLOAI: considered calm and egocentric, but limbic wins out for me (I see her ranking somewhat high in all the criteria), accommodating squeaks out a win over egocentric which I was actually really set on and then I thought abt it more, like just bc she isn’t a pushover to the will of others doesn’t make her egocentric
LIE: I’m still learning socionics, as for her not being ni leading in socionics, I just don’t see it as being directly compared to mbti bc they aren’t really correlated. honestly went w the popular vote on this one . Will get back on this point once I’m better versed in socionics lol

i was wondering if u could do something with yelena having a fear of doctors due to her forced hysterectomy and she doesn’t make it super obvious but just something where steve and bucky are made aware and try to help her? like maybe she needs medical treatment and the doctors get irritated cause she doesn’t want it but it’s cause she’s scared and i loved the consent talk so they have to be like “no one is gonna put their hands on ur body if u don’t want them to” u know
Foreign Safety pt.4
Yelena wakes up feeling warm and safe. There’s something tickling her face. When she opens her eyes she sees that it was Natasha’s hair. They’re both laying in between the boys from the night before. Except somehow Natasha and her are on opposite sides they fell asleep in. Which, kinda makes sense due to how crazy they sleep.
Natasha’s hand rests on Steve’s face and her head rests on his arm. She has a little bit of drool on the corner of her mouth.
Yelena feels movement from behind her and a voice. “Hey smalls, you awake?” Yelena turn and faces Bucky.
“I’m not small.” She furrows her eyebrows and crosses her arms.
“Yes you are. But you know who’s smaller? Natasha.” He motions to the sleeping girl. Yelena laughs, knowing how much her sister hated how short she was. She knew she wasn’t much taller, but she still thought it was funny.
Natasha must have heard because her next movement is followed by Bucky getting hit with a pillow. Steve wakes up from the movement, confused at why Yelena is laughing at Natasha looks annoyed.
They lay in comfortable silence for a couple moments until Steve decides to speak. “Yelena, we need to talk. After what happened last night, we’re gonna need you to see a doctor.”
At his words, Natasha immediately takes Yelena into her arms. She tenses up at the mention of doctors.
“No.” She hides her face in Natasha’s neck.
“Why not? It’s just the doctors Lena. You have to.” Bucky asks.
“No.” Yelena gets up from the bed and walks out and into her room. She locks her door and then hides in her locked bathroom.
Steve and Bucky are left confused as they watch the young girl rush out the room. Their thought are interrupted by Natasha.
“She’s not going to do it you know. Remember when I first got here? When I wouldn’t go see the doctors? In the red room, you were only told to see the doctors when you weren’t useful anymore. They would do tests and experiments on you because you served no purpose. The only other time we were told to see the doctor was when it was our graduation ceremony. They sterilized us.” Natasha looks down, not wanting to meet their gaze.
They don’t say anything, just wrap Natasha in their arms. Bucky runs his hand up and down her arm. Steve presses a soft kiss to the top of her head.
“She’s not going to let them help her.” She whispers, sighing in their embrace.
“We understand, but it’s non-negotiable. Can you talk to her? She’s probably not going to trust us if we told her she would be safe. But if you did maybe she’ll come around.” Natasha’s thinks about it for a moment and then nods her head.
They let her go and she heads out of the room. She gets through the locked doors easily. She sits beside Yelena on her bathroom floor.
“Doctors here don’t hurt you.” Natasha sleets a hand on her sister’s knee. “I know it’s scary. When I first got here I wouldn’t go see the doctors either. It wasn’t until Steve and Bucky let me watch them go first, and then they stayed with me while I went. If you want, we can all be there with you. We won’t let anyone hurt you.”
Yelena calms at the information Natasha’s has shared with her. She’s not entirely comfortable, but like Natasha said, they won’t let anyone hurt her. She nods her head and lets Natasha lead her to the medbay.
Steve and Bucky wait at the entry way. Natasha leaves Yelena with the two of them while she talks to one of the doctors about Yelena’s situation. They order STD tests and others to make sure Yelena wasn’t in medical danger.
Yelena is led by the three into a room. She’s told to sit on a chair in the middle of the room. She notices how different it is compared to the red room. The chair padded and light colored. When they were sent to medical In the red room, they were laid on a cold metal rolling bed.
She also saw that there weren’t restrains on the chairs either. She sits down and tries her best to calm the nerves that are present in her body.
The male doctor rolls a seat next to Yelena and she tended up. He tightens a band around her arm and she starts to panic.
“No. Off.” She tries to untie it. The doctor places a hand to try and get her to stop, but she starts to cry.
“No, please no.” Natasha rubs over to her and unties the rubber band around her arm.
“It’s okay, it’s okay. I’ll talk to the doctor quick.” She motions for the doctor to come with her in the hallway.
When they leave, Bucky and Steve kneel in front of her. “I know it’s scary. The rubber band is just so they can find a vein. If you don’t want them to touch you, they’ll them. No one will touch you without your permission.” Bucky explains to her.
The doctor comes in with a cup. He takes his place back in the chair besides Yelena. “Hey, I’m sorry that I scared you. I was scared you were going to hurt yourself while taking the band off. That thing can pinch really hard when tightened.”
Yelena looks down and nods her head. “Can we do something else? You don’t touch?”
“Of course. This is a cup,” he hold it up for Yelena to see. “Would you be able to give us a urine sample instead?”
Yelena looks to Natasha who nods her head. She looks back to the doctor and nods her head. He hands her the cup and shows her where the bathroom is.
Yelena does as she’s told and finishes the urine sample. She’s told to leave it on the stool that’s in there, so she does. When she’s finished washing her hands, she leaves the bathroom.
“Alright, I will get back to you once the results come in.” Yelena’s not sure what he means by ‘results,’ but nods anyways. “You are free to go.”
Yelena takes ahold of Bucky and Steve’s hands and skips out of medbay. She’s happy that she wasn’t hurt while she was getting medical attention.
Natasha smiles at the scene in front of her. Both Bucky and Steve lift her off the ground by a hand and swing her as she walks, making her giggle.
Although she feels a little jealous of not being her sisters only person, she’s happy that she’s not anymore. That, if something were to happen to her, or for some reason she had to be gone for some time, Yelena would be safe and feel safe.

You had only ever seen two athletes present during rehearsals. Once when Madeline (who at the time was playing Penny in your production of Hairspray) was dating a guy from the soccer team. The other was when the star of the basketball team had come in to give your choreographer pointers for the basketball scenes during High School Musical.
Until now.
You had run onstage part of the way through “Live Like This”, which wasn’t out of the ordinary since so much progress had been made on the costumes. You were still tying the ribbon on your pinafore as you jumped into the song, but when your eyes met a face in the usually empty auditorium, you faltered. You almost sang the wrong verse, but recovered quickly, continuing with the blocking. What felt like a moment later, the number was almost done and you were nearing the end of your counterpoint with Mae Tuck - played by Eleanor, of course. Who could be better for the part? You held out the last note, trying to stay in character despite all the distractions in the back of your mind. You had to talk to Eleanor when the director called for 10; she’d started telling you how Devi was being weird recently. Also, what the Hadestown was Paxton Hall-Yoshida doing chilling in the auditorium? You shoved all that away, focusing on staying in character until the director called for a break.
‘I want to go to the fair. I want to go so badly! I just need a change, need to get out of this house for a little while. I never do anything, so this can’t be asking for too much, right?’
You projected all that into your everything - face, voice, mannerisms, energy.
“Hold!”
Everyone froze.
The director wrote a few things on his paper, sighed, and underlined something several times.
“Okay, good job! I need to revise some of the blocking, then we’ll do notes, so take ten.” Your sudden nerves had definitely made you pitchy, you knew that would be one of your notes for sure.
A chorus of “Thank you ten”s erupted, and you immediately ran to Eleanor, telling the others good job as you passed.
You leaned in and started speaking to her, quietly.
“Okay you need to finish telling me about Devi, and that other news you’re being so cryptic about! Also, what’s up with Fierro over there?” you nodded towards Paxton hoping he wouldn’t see, and you noticed Fab is sitting near him. You realized they’re probably waiting for Eleanor and/or Devi. That must be it, he’s been hanging out with them lately, right? Eleanor gasped.
“You’re right! Paxton is such a Fierro!”
You cringed inwardly a little bit as her voice carried through the auditorium, mixing with the others. Your eyes darted over to him for a fraction of a second. Oh god. He was looking at you. Or in your general direction at least. Lena, the costumer, walked around the set gingerly, following you around and getting you out of your dress incredibly carefully as you and Eleanor walked off stage.
“No! Well, yes- but no. What’s he doing here? Jocks never come here during rehearsals. I saw Fab too, are you guys and Devi getting dinner or something?” You said, entering the auditorium, and stepping out of the dress. You grabbed sweatpants and a silky, floral kimono jacket from your bag to throw over your leotard and tights. She waved back at Fab before sitting down in the front. You both grabbed your fans and dramatically flicked them open in sync. Your wrists fluttered, cooling both of you off.  A knowing, and slightly mischievous, look came on her face.
“Devi and Fab and I are. Paxton must be here for something… else.” she shrugged, nodding towards Paxton. You looked over again. He was staring at you. You did a double take and tried to hold back your smile.
“Wh- I do not know to what you are referring.”
“To what I am referring is the blush on his cheeks.”
You barely held back a nervous, bubbling laugh.
“He is not blushing! Why would he be blushing!”
“I don’t know,” She shrugged, “Just like how I don’t know that he’s been loitering in the halls outside the music room during your last three solo music rehearsals.”
You struggled for an answer. Before you could form one, you were interrupted.
“Okay, okay what is the best Lin Manuel Miranda musical? Because Kathryn thinks it’s Hamilton-”
“Duh!”
“-But I think it’s In the Heights! It’s an underrated jewel!” Jonah interjected, still wearing his Jesse Tuck hat.
You considered for a moment.
“I mean, they’re too different to compare. In the Heights has the same energy as Rent - showcasing what goes on in ordinary people’s lives, and how love ties us all together,” he nodded in agreement, “But Hamilton is on a way larger scale, almost Les Mis meets Fun Home vibes. But in terms of personal preference…” Eleanor scoffed at your answer, and Jonah went back to debate further with Kathryn.
“Anyway,” you turned back to Eleanor to ask her what the hell she meant by Paxton Hall-Yoshida was blushing. But before you could-
“Eleanor, we need you to try on your blue dress again,” Lena was already pulling her away, “I had the empire waist in the right place but half the pins fell out, and it’s just...” And she was whisked away before you could finish the thought. You just had time to help Holly get out her wig pins and drink some lemon water before notes. Eleanor still wasn’t back, so you made sure to write down hers for her. It was pretty standard; be quiet backstage, go over your lines, don’t touch props that aren’t yours, don’t eat in costume, and a couple blocking changes you made note of. After your end of rehearsal warm downs and huddle, everyone left relatively quickly. You ducked into the bathroom to freshen up a little. Sometimes it was hard coming down from such intense energy after rehearsal. You mentally ran through your to do list. You needed to get some more tea, write that essay when you got home, go over your notes- You gasped, cutting off your own train of thought. You ran out of the bathroom to look for Eleanor, still clutching her notes in hand.
~
Your voice still echoed in Paxton’s ears. He wished he had a whole album of you singing. Your voice made him want to ruin his spotify algorithm by listening to nothing else. You had looked at him a couple times, and his heart had almost stopped. He didn’t know eye contact could be so intense. It’s probably just cause you’re like, the only person in the audience. Where else is she supposed to look? He deflated a little. He heard his name and looked over to you and Eleanor talking together. Hopefully it was about him. Hopefully it was good. He checked his phone, trying to look busy. When he glanced up to see if you were looking, you were gone. He started to look around for you when he saw Eleanor waving at Fab, and sure enough, you were next to her. What he didn’t expect was you dropping your dress to the ground. Time slowed down (and his heart sped up) as you stretched a little, and pulled out sweatpants from your bag.
Wow.
You had on what looked like a bathing suit on underneath, and a few other people had done the same, but he knew that image would be in his memory, probably forever. His heart was beating in his ears and he knew he must be blushing.
“You okay, Paxton?” Fab asked, a seat or two away. Oh god, he didn’t want people asking why he blushed every time he looked at you! He muttered something about needing to make a call and headed for the doors. Don’t look back at her, don’t look back at her… His eyes involuntarily darted in your direction right before he left. You had on a flowy translucent jacket, your hair thrown back supermodel style as you fanned yourself to cool down. He needed to cool down too. Maybe a cold shower, a really cold shower.
~
You managed to find Eleanor just before she left. Two girls were with her, you had seen Fab once, and you’d heard a lot about Devi, but had never been introduced.
You gave Eleanor her notes, and she hugged you.
“You’re a lifesaver!”
“Of course, I-”
“Uh, who’s this?” you looked over, and the shorter girl - Devi, based on what you’d heard about her -  was giving you a weird look. You introduced yourself.
“Nice to meet you. How do you know Eleanor?” said the taller girl - definitely Fab.
“Oh,” you smiled, “she’s my almost mother in law. And my arch rival,” you counted on your fingers, “my sister, my niece, my lover, my husband, and…” you trailed off, trying to think of the other dynamics your characters had had in past shows.
“Your co-conspirator.”
“Right,” you laughed. Devi and Fab looked at you two.
“We’re in the musical together.” you clarified. You were about to part ways when you called to Eleanor, “Hey, we’re still on for running lines tomorrow night?”
“Uh… Sounds good!” she walked away quickly, speaking to Devi and Fab in hushed tones. Something was definitely up. That was typical Eleanor Scheming behavior.
~
That night, you almost couldn’t sleep. This wasn’t the normal post rehearsal can’t sleep. In fact, Tuck Everlasting was the last thing on your mind as you readjusted your pillows and snuggled into your duvet. You stared at the neon blue stars projected and swirling on your ceiling. You sighed. Again. Your brain was a 24/7 livestream of Paxton Hall-Yoshida to relax/study to. You saw him again, his face in the dimly lit auditorium, Adonis in a sea of faded seats. If you hadn’t been sure before, you knew now that red was definitely his color. You rolled onto your side. Your heart picked up speed as a thought crossed your mind. You could almost see Paxton now, kneeling next to you, his fingertips brushing your cheek. The piano underscore to “Seventeen” ran through your mind. You could imagine him saying “Wait with me, we could share the world…” so vividly it almost hurt. He leaned in, and…
You let out a loud sigh and rolled over again. Your heart was fully saturated. That’s more than enough pining for tonight.
~
“Paxton!”
He was a little surprised when Eleanor just walked up to him at lunch the next day. Most people were too intimidated to approach him out of the blue.
“I have a plan.”
“Uh, I don’t know what you-”
“Cut the crap, I know you like her.”
His face blanched. Well, yeah of course he did. Who wouldn’t? He was going to ask Eleanor if there was something he could do to win you over, just not here, not now. Not where everyone could watch and jeer and rib him for it. Just like they were doing now.
“Woah, dude, who is it?” Trent asked. He fumbled for words. He couldn’t believe this was happening. He hadn’t kept his crush a secret because he was embarrased of you, he’d kept it a secret because his dumbass friends wouldn’t get you. Hell, he barely got you. You were so deep, and emotive, and artistic...
“Bro, if you like her as much as it seems like you do,” Trent continued, “you gotta win her over.” He was a little shocked at the agreement murmuring through his group of friends. He didn’t know how to respond. Trent turned to Eleanor.
“What’s the plan, drama mama?”
“First of all,” she said, an almost humorously dangerous look on her face, “never call me that again. Second,” she shoved some papers into Paxton’s hands, “meet me in the music room immediately after school.” She started back for her table. Trent looked back over to Paxton.
“You gotta do it, dude. We’ll cover for you at swim.”
The rest of his friends agreed. He was pleasantly surprised at how supportive they were being.
“Yeah, I guess... we’ve got a plan.”
~
The next day went by pretty smoothly. No rehearsal was scheduled since they were finishing construction for some of the sets, but everyone was instructed to do a couple read throughs of the script, focusing on scenes they’re still forgetting, to make sure everyone’s off book. You stopped by 7 Eleven to get a blue slurpee (for homework) and a couple coconut waters (for run throughs). You texted Eleanor on your way to the slurpee machine.
okay so do you like the mango coconut water or the pineapple one?? It’s the mango one right?? i always forget lmao

btw I don’t have that much homework so you can probs come by around 5:30 if you’re ready by then

You squinted at your screen. That was weird. Eleanor never used colon parentheses smilies. Like, ever. She always used emojis, and usually way more than two per text.

...Okay? That was definitely weird. You shook it off and headed for the counter to pay. You stopped half way there, and turned back to swap the mango for passionfruit.
Not long after you had finished your homework and tidied up your room a little, the doorbell rang. You exited the kitchen, drinks in hand, and opened the door. Your heart caught in your throat. Paxton Hall-Yoshida was standing outside. And you were pretty sure he looked nervous. You both just stood there for a second. No one breathed, no one spoke.
“Uh, hi, do you want to…” you backed up, motioning for him to come inside.
“Yeah, thanks,” he said, entering the doorway. Paxton motherfucking Hall-Yoshida was in your living room. You held out a hand to him.
“Coconut water?” he took the box, looked at the label, and smiled.
“Yeah, thanks,” he said again, this time a faint, yet unmistakable note of joy in his voice. He took a sip. He smiled.
“Passionfruit’s my favorite.” You silently thanked Eleanor, who you knew must have planned all this. Most of the evening was a blur, and you thanked god your family wasn’t home right now. You went upstairs, texted Eleanor asking what the actual fuck, made some surprisingly comfortable small talk, then filled him in on how to run lines.
“Do you think playing the soundtrack would help you… get into character?” he asked.
“I would probably just end up singing the whole thing,” You laughed and tried to ignore the butterflies in your chest. The main scene you struggled with was before “Seventeen”. It was harder to get into Winnie’s head because you had no romantic feelings for Jonah, and you always just made each other laugh. You had started with a few easier scenes of Winnie and Jesse, like the fair, and the dialogue before “Top of the World”.
“That was really good,” he said, and you felt the sincerity of his words.
“Thanks…” you smiled and took a sip of coconut water, hoping you weren’t blushing too hard.
“So what next?” he asked.
“Probably the scene before ‘Seventeen’,” you said, giving him the page and scene number, “it’s one of the hardest ones for me. I guess I just can’t connect to Jonah the way Winnie does.”
“Huh,” he said, skimming the page. When you looked up at him, he had something between a smile and a smirk playing at his lips. You made yourself look away before you got too distracted. You refused to think about the fact that you were sitting across from Paxton Hall-Yoshida on your bed, in your room, like you were… close with each other. His eyes skimmed the script, finding the dialogue. He glanced up at you and nodded, indicating he found his place. You began.
“I was so afraid you wouldn’t get away,” you said, jumping into character.
“I may be 102, but I can still outrun anyone,” a smile played at his lips. You smiled, then let your face fall.
“I’m so sorry, I-I tried to warn you-”
“No, no,” he interjected almost seamlessly, “It’s okay, it’s… refreshing having someone look after me who isn’t my mom.” His eyes flickered between your face and the page. You smiled with him for a second, then let distress cloud your face.
“Jesse… that man came by my house today. He heard the music box, he knows about you-”
“I know he knows…”
You continued on with the scene and he trailed off when he came to the sheet music for the song Seventeen. You took in a breath to start the dialogue in the middle of the song, but before you could…
“Six years from now you will turn seventeen,
Turn seventeen,
The same age as me,
Six years from now,
Go to the spring,
Go to the spring and drink…”
He was singing to you. He was looking at you and singing to you. His eyes only flickered down to the page to confirm the lyrics. He was nervous, you could tell. But through his hesitance, the emotion in his voice was sincere. Your heart was beating faster. You didn’t even notice your pulse was ringing in your ears, you were too focused on Paxton.
“I'll wait for you till you turn seventeen,
Turn seventeen,
The same age as me,
Six years from now,
Go to the spring,
Go to the spring and drink…” Your hand rose to cover your mouth. He hesitated, and you remembered your dialogue.
“Uh, wh-what if I… forget where the spring is?” He reached out and took your free hand in his. Your pulse was off the charts. “I’ll go get you some water. Just… remember to keep it somewhere safe. Somewhere no one will find it.” You got the feeling he wasn’t just talking about the water. You knew he had never really been in a serious relationship before, and it clicked suddenly - if he learned an entire song to duet with you, just how much he must like you. You exhaled a breathy laugh, unsure how to process the sudden euphoria you felt.
“You make the world sound so… exciting. I just want to drink the water right now!”
“Uh, no. You have to wait.” you both smiled, anticipating the upcoming joke.
“Why?” you ask, “What’s the difference?” You held your breath as he tried not to laugh through the delivery of the punchline.
“Believe me,” he rubbed his thumb over your hand, “there’s a difference.” You both chuckled, and he continued singing. You were so focused on him, so… touched that he would do all this for you.
“Winnie, wait with me,
And we could be married,
Winnie, wait with me,
And we'll share the world,
Winnie, you can stop time,
And live like this,
Forever…”
“I could live like this forever,” you echoed.
“Live like this...” you sang in tandem.
“What do you say, Winnie? Do you want to…” he broke character suddenly, and asked, his eyes boring into yours, “Do you want to go out some time?”
He could see the adorable smile blooming on your face, even from behind your hand. You nodded.
“Yes, I-I would love that,” and you began to sing the last line in the song, “Forever-”
But before you finished holding out the note, his lips were on yours. His mouth moved slowly, intentionally, against yours. You followed his lead, flustered. He leaned further forward, his palm caressing your cheek. It was everything you imagined it would be, and you had quite the imagination. Your head was angled up and your hands rested themselves on his back, one tracing little shapes. Your shoulders were pressed against each other and neither of you could think. He was so warm. He tasted like coconut and passion fruit, and a distant part of your mind silently thanked Eleanor again.
You really could live like this forever.

pairing: teacher jisung x single mom reader
genre: fluff
requested?: anon: I've been holding onto this idea for a while, cause I was going to try to write it (I never write it well😂), but like single father Jisung or like single mother reader🤔. I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it😩
a/n: parent aus are one of my absolute favorite tropes ever!!!!! i hope you enjoy anon because i really enjoyed writing this!! -lena
Tumblr media
ok so ur a single mom for...reasons
u have a little girl!!!!
she’s the sweetest thing ever and u couldn’t ask for anything else in the world
she’s like kindergarten age and u haven’t really thought about dating since she was born cuz u don’t have time for that
she’s a handful
and since you work it’s not like you have tons of time to be out and about lookin for a date
whatever ok so your little girl goes to the local kindergarten and she’s a really sociable kid so she has a lot of friends and really enjoys school
which is a blessing because you don’t think you couldn’t handle a kid who never wants to go to school in the morning while ur trying to go to work (but you know you’d love them the same)
so basically one day you’re going to pick your girl up from kindergarten like you usually do after work
and ur standing in the lobby of the school waiting until the kids are dismissed
suddenly u hear...guitar strums?? and singing??
you cant remember your daughter ever talking about there being a music program at school so you just assume the kids are watching a video or something
but curiosity gets the best of you and you glance through the window on the door that leads into the classroom
and you see the cutest!! freakin!! sight!!
all the kids and sitting in a circle around this young guy with bleach blonde hair who’s holding a guitar and singing with them
you automatically spot your daughter sitting right next to him and she sees you and starts waving frantically
you smile and wave back but not before making eye contact with the guy holding the guitar
and ur like. woah. WOAH
because he’s CUTE cute
he has the cutest little heart shape smile and crinkly eyes
you almost have to physically shake your head to snap yourself out of your daze
because now the music class has seemed to stop and all the kindergarteners are running to get their things
you step out of the way of the door so the kids can be let out but the door is opened by no other than...guitar guy
you try to quell your blush from seeing him so close to you all of a sudden but ur not sure if it works considering when you pick up your daughter to give her a hug she goes “mommy...why’re your cheeks all pink...”
“wHat? my cheeks aren’t pink! YOUR cheeks are pink!”
she giggles and squirms out of your arms and runs to the guitar guy
oh no
you see your little girl grab his hand and drag him over to you from where he was standing at the door saying goodbye to all the other kids
“mommy!!! this is mr. sungie!!! he’s teaching us singing!!!! and he plays guitar!!!”
the guy laughs slightly and looks back at you and sticks out his hand for you to shake
“hi, i’m han jisung, the school wanted a half semester music program so...here i am!”
you shake his hand (it’s soft) “i’m y/n, y/d/n’s mom. it’s nice to meet you! i’m so glad they’re finally doing something music oriented”
“i agree! i think music is so good for kids, do you play anything?”
you two chatter away about music and such until you feel a tug on your pant leg
you look down to see your daughter looking up at you with pleading eyes that are literally BEGGING you to get ice cream with her or something
you giggle and pat her head, looking back up to jisung and smiling at him
“well it was nice to meet you...mr. sungie? i’ll see you around!”
he does that cute heart smile back at you and goes “you can call me jisung” and you swear you feel an explosion of butterflies in your stomach
later after you’ve gotten ice cream with your daughter and you’re walking hand in hand back to your apartment she goes
“mommy, you like mr. sungie right?”
“yeah, he seems like a good teacher! you like him right?”
“of COURSE i like him, he plays guitar for us and sings really pretty, but i think you like like him” she smiles coyly up and you and you don’t say anything for a second, processing the fact that your 5 year old daughter seems to know more about romance than you do
you finally collect yourself and go “and why would you think that, missy?”
“i dunno...you look really happy around him” she shrugs her shoulders and takes another lick of her ice cream cone
you end up dismissing the thought after a while cuz ... you’ve met the guy once you can’t be in love with him after one meeting (right?)
anyways time goes on and u continue to pick up your daughter from school everyday and pretty much see jisung all the time
he really REALLY grows on you and the mutual affection is kinda obvious, especially to your daughter
one day the weather is just HORRIBLE like ridiculous rain storms and it’s so crazy that a lot of public transportation is closed or extremely slow
and this obviously stands as a problem considering you have a child to pick up across town in ten minutes and you’ve been standing for the train for about 30
you’re frantic since you’ve never been late to pick her up before and you don’t want her to get scared or anything so you decide to call the school
one of the nice ladies from the office picks up and you explain your situation (which she completely understands) and she says that jisung actually offered to watch her for however long it takes you to arrive, even offering to bring her to your apartment if that’s easier for you to get to
your heart SOARS
but you tell the lady that you’re about to get on the train anyways so you’ll just meet them at school
you cant help but smile the entire train ride because he really just offered up his own free time to watch your kid
and you know how much she likes jisung since she literally HAS NOT STOPPED TALKING ABOUT HIM (and how you should get married to him) FOR THE PAST THREE WEEKS
lets sidetrack a bit to what jisung and your daughter were doing
after he offered to watch her until you came, he automatically thought it would be a good idea to teach her how to play some guitar
since she always seemed so interested during school
once they got settled and he was strumming along with her your daughter looked up at him and pouted
“mr. sungie?”
“yes, kiddo?”
“my mommy likes you” jisung freezes for a second at the confession, but goes back to strumming because how much can a 5 year old’s word mean
“i like her too! she’s a very nice woman and seems like a very good mommy”
your daughter rolls her eyes and turns fully to jisung
“no!! she really, really like LIKES you!!!!”
jisung takes a deep breath
should he really confess to your daughter about how he actually really likes you too and your sparkly eyes and pretty voice and amazing ability to kindly nurture a rowdy kindergartner???
well
he does
“you know, i actually think i like like her too” jisung didn’t know he could actually start blushing from confessing his feelings to a 5 year old
your daughter automatically lights up and starts bouncing up and down “will you get married now?? will you get to bring me to get ice cream after school sometimes too?? can we go to the park together!!??”
the amount of questions is a bit overwhelming considering he hasn’t even said anything to YOU
ok back to you
finally when you arrive at the school let me tell you
the sight you see when you walk into the classroom has your heart doing more flips than on the first day you saw jisung and your daughter’s class together
your daughter was sitting on jisung's lap, his guitar in her lap and his hands holding hers as he strums across the various chords
they seem so content and focused you don’t even want to go in there
but alas, you do because it’s getting kind of late and you don’t want to keep jisung any longer than he’s already stayed
your daughter’s head darts up as soon as she hears the door opens and shimmies off of jisung’s lap with a yell of “mommy!!” when she sees you
you give her a big hug and apologize a billion times for being so late
“it’s ok mommy!!! mr. sungie kept me company!! maybe you should be late more often”
you laugh and look to jisung who is FOND
you also apologize a bunch for him, especially since he probably had stuff to do and places to be
“don’t worry about it, she’s a pleasure to have as company” and shoots her a little smile
your daughter runs to stand in between you two and looks up to both of you
you both know what’s coming
“hey mommy...”
“yes, daughter?”
“you know how you like mr. sungie”
“i mean yeah, as your teach-“
“well mr. sungie likes you too!!! and wants to marry you and bring me to the park and get ice cream with us!!!”
both of you flush with embarrassment and immediately try to back track everything she just said
and then you take a deep breath
“do you actually like me?” you feel like you’re in the 7th grade again
jisung’s voice is small when he answers you, his fingers fidgeting and eyes down to the floor
“yeah, but i understand if it’s weird or anything. i am her teacher after all and have no idea what your home life is like...”
“god i’m so glad you told her whatever you did”
jisung’s head shoots up so his eyes can meet your own “what?”
“you know, maybe she wasn’t wrong, maybe i do like like you” you say with a small smile as you walk towards jisung and wrap your arms around his neck
“well in that case, would you like to go out for ice cream?”
“YES!!” you hear your daughter yell from where she was standing by the door
you both laugh and walk hand in hand out of the classroom, your daughter leading the way

You get to write 3x08 of Supergirl. You can do whatever you want with it and the writers have to make 3x01-3x07 lead up to it. What's your pitch?
OH SHIT I LIKE THIS ASK THIS IS MY IDEAL EPISODE:
ok so 3.08 starts off w maggie and alex and lena and kara having dinner together at a nice fancy restaurant. there’s laughter and banter and maggie’s giving lena this look w a smirk. lena stands to pay the bill, kara goes to the bathroom and maggie just turns to alex and is like ‘so, lena is gay and in love with your sister’ and alex just laughs and then is like ‘what?’ lena and kara come back, lena says something flirty to kara and maggie just smirks at alex. alex is shook.
NEXT SCENE the four of them are walking in the dark, the night is dark and brisk. maggie and alex walk with their arms linked, kara and lena hang back and stroll together. soft flirting is exchanged. they are soft gays. alex gets a call, her and kara go to the deo. maggie convinces lena to get a lift home on her motorbike.
j’onn gives them the details of their case - some alien perps using space technology. winn says is using the computer to track the heat signatures or some shit. he makes a comment about their double date. kara is blushed and flustered, alex is like ‘omg kara likes her too’. shook af. winn finds the alien perps.
kara is standing by alex’s locker as she gets into tactical gear, she’s saying how much she liked dinner and she’s glad maggie and alex get along w lena. alex puts an arm on kara’s shoulder and asks her if she has feeling for lena and that she can tell alex anything. kara gets angry, says she’s still mourning monel - she storms off
MEANWHILE BACK AT THE LESBIANS: maggie and lena are at lena’s office. lena apologises, saying she had to pick up something from work and that maggie can go, she’ll get her driver to pick her up. maggie says not to worry. lena offers maggie a drink. maggie accepts, but just a small one. the bitch is a responsible driver. lena pours a huge drink and sits down at her desk, looking at the file. maggie asks if everythings ok. lena opens up about her father’s estate, she has paperwork to go through about it. she talks about her shitty mom. maggie hesitates before telling her simply about her parents. lena nods in solidarity and pours her a bigger drink.
alex and kara do their mission, there’s a sick action scene, and at the end, alex - ever the big sister - questions kara about lena. kara gets super angry and flies off in a huff. j’onn raises his eyebrows, says something dadlike, like give her time and space to figure stuff out. alex sighs and says she knows, she’s just worried she’s rushing into things w a lena.
kara is at the place where monel got yeeted, the open field. she sits in the middle of it. she doesn’t cry though, she just sits hugging her knees staring at the stars. alex finds her there, and sits beside her, grumbling about being too old for sitting on the ground. ‘you don’t need to tell me anything’ alex says ‘but i want you to know that whenever youre ready to talk about anything, monel or lena or whatever it is, i’ll be here because i love you’ (kara hasnt spoken at all about monel up until this point, refusing to whenever someone tries to engage her in that conversation). kara turns to alex and she says ‘i thought i love him, but i…. i don’t miss him like i’m supposed to. i regret that i had to send him away, i regret that we didn’t get the time we were supposed to have together, but….. i don’t miss him’ and alex knows that kara doesnt need her to say anything to make it better. she just needs a hug. alex throws her arm around kara’s shoulder. kara sighs and leans into it. alex’s phone beeps and she opens a message and laughs. ‘let’s go get maggie from lena’s, those idiots’
CUTSMASH TO THE LESBIANS AGAIN. lena and maggie are having a dance party in lena’s office. grunge music is playing and theyre both super drunk. we’ve never seen lena like this. neither has maggie. lena trips over her own feet and lands on the floor, laughing. maggie drops down next to her, clutching a bottle of scotch, also laughing. she turns off the music. ‘so what’s the deal with you and little danvers’ maggie asks and lena’s like ‘is it that obvious’ and maggie’s all ‘lmao im a professional lesbian’ lena’s all soft and talks about how much she likes kara and how she’s an idiot for falling for a straight girl, even more so a fuckin super. maggie says dont count her out just yet, maggie’s seen the way kara looks at lena and it’s decidedly unstraight, and the fact that lena’s a luthor means shit all to kara. lena cries. maggie gives her the bottle.
nek minit, alex and kara turn up. ‘let’s go, drunky’ alex says, picking maggie up and leading her from the room. maggie hugs lena before she goes and is like ‘ur my best friend now im love u no homo’ alex offers to give lena a lift home too, but kara says she’ll sort it out.
after alex and maggie leave, kara picks up lena and puts her on the couch. she can see lena’s been crying and she asks what’s wrong. lena looks into kara’s eyes. her hair’s a mess and her eyes are bloodshot and she looks terrified.
‘i think im falling for you kara’. kara’s breath hitches and very very very slowly, lena leans in. kara is still. she doesn’t stop her. they kiss. it’s soft and tender with an air of passion that kara hasn’t felt in a long time. they pull apart.
‘i’m sorry lena, i cant do this now. not yet’ she flies away, knowing she has to figure out her shit first.
back at alex’s alex is getting maggie into bed which is proving difficult. suddenly, kara’s in their living room and she’s teetering on the edge of breaking down and then alex catches her and she’s crying in her arms. maggie’s still drunk as a skunk but she grabs her phone and she texts lena and just goes ‘kara’s here. r u ok?’
and then cut to lena and she’s still alone in her office and drinking. she takes a deep breath and says ‘i will be’
end of episode.

One Night: Chapter 2
AO3
Chapter 1
Eventually, the cool night air forces them to start moving again. Southern California may be warm at this time of year but at 3am, even the warmest climates can feel cold. The light breeze cuts right through their thin shirts and pants (resembling hospital scrubs more than anything else). Kara doesn’t reach out to hold Lena’s hand again though she desperately wants to. She doesn’t want to live through the moment where Lena flinches away and glares at her like she hates her.
“Do you have any idea of where we’re heading?” Lena asks, irritation creeping into her voice.
“Northwest,” Kara says. “I’m from space remember? I know my stars. I think the compound we were at was south-east of National City so we should hit civilization at some point.”
“At what point exactly?” Lena asks. “Because you don’t have super endurance right now and I certainly do not. Also, we’re in the middle of the forest. We could get attacked by bears or something.”
Kara rolls her eyes.
“Bears are docile unless provoked. And either way,” Kara says turning to face Lena, who looks entirely unimpressed, “I’ll protect you.”
The DEO is too loud right now. Cadmus released another video, this one without any sort of narrative and instead just including clips of destruction wreaked on Metropolis and National City by Supergirl and Superman. There’s some of when Kara was affected by red kryptonite but most of them are from when she’s still herself and she gets thrown into a building, or one of her punches runs a little off course. Somehow every shot manages to miss the alien that Supergirl or Superman is fighting and it frames them destroying public property just because a whim strikes. It’s a PR nightmare.
There’s not much Supergirl can do to fight this. There’s no one to punch, no one to interrogate, no one to fight at all. So instead, Kara has to watch helplessly as Winn furiously types away at his keyboard doing his best to limit exposure, though the damage is already done. J’onn is having a conference call with the President. James had disappeared the moment the video appeared on their screens saying that he needed to get back to CatCo so that they could at least try and control the story in the Tribune release tomorrow. And Alex is calling Maggie to make sure the police department has people on hand for the inevitable uptick in human on alien violence (and human on human violence as well).
And Kara, for all her powers and strength, feels completely useless. Alex had warned her about going out as Supergirl right now because it was sure to increase tensions on both sides of the argument and that was the last thing the city needed. So Kara has been quarantined to the base and it’s too loud. It’s rare that she gets sensory overload these days. She’s mostly figured out how to control her hearing but every so often there are some stressors that can make her slip. (Her superhero alter-ego’s name being dragged through the mud by the people who had kidnapped her and made her bleed did the trick.)
She gets up shakily from the desk she’d been sitting at and gestures at Alex that she’s going to leave. Alex has the presence of mind to look concerned but when Kara waves her off, she turns back to her phone. Kara flies quickly to her apartment, taking advantage of the low-hanging clouds to cover her. As soon as she touches down, she grabs the lead-lined ear plugs Jeremiah made for her way back when she was young and stuffs them into her ears.
The world instantly goes quiet and Kara feels like the fist that was clenching around her lungs loosens somewhat. She lies back on her bed and relishes for a moment in how quiet the world has become. She gives herself half an hour until her heart rate has evened out and until she’s processed (as much as she can in such little time) that Cadmus is back at it again and they’re after her. She waits until the roiling anger and fear calm into something more solid, something she can handle. Then she pulls the ear plugs out. The sounds of the city come rushing back to her enough too quickly and too loudly and Kara has to press her hands over her ears for a second to acclimate.
Carefully, she pulls her hearing back until she can only hear what’s inside of her apartment: the quiet rush of water in the walls, the light hum of electricity from her laptop, all those strange noises her fridge makes that maybe she should get checked out. When she’s got a handle on it she stands up and glances out the window. The sun is starting to fade and Kara looks out over the city she loves so much and wonders how many of the people there wish she were dead.
Her phone on her nightstand buzzes and Kara reaches over to check who it is.
u alright?
Kara smiles softly at her phone. Alex always knows when she’s not doing so well.
Fine, just overwhelmed. How are things?
It takes Alex three minutes to answer and Kara can feel her hesitation through the phone. It means that things are bad and Alex wouldn’t lie to Kara but she is trying to figure exactly how much she should tell her.
Not great. People are unhappy. Aliens are scared. But I think things will calm down soon, like they did after the last video. people will forget.
Kara can tell that Alex is trying to make her feel better and, honestly, it works.
u sure ur good tho? because technically I’m supposed to stay but i have some sway with the boss and i can come over if you need me.
I’m sure
Alright sis. i love you.
love you too.
The truth is, Kara would love it if Alex came over. She still feels shaky. Every time Cadmus rears its head, releases a new video, and stirs up all of the anti-alien feelings in National City, Kara is forced to remember that she doesn’t belong here. She isn’t human and this isn’t her home as much as she wishes it were. She’s different. And there are always people who will hate her for it, regardless of what good she may do.
When she’d become Supergirl she had thought that people would like her, almost without exception. And the few that would hate her, the Lex Luthors of the world, she thought she could easily place in a box labelled evil. But it’s not that easy. Cadmus is evil. Lillian Luthor is evil. But the guy at the grocery store who thinks aliens shouldn’t have the same rights as humans. He’s not evil. He has a wife and a kid who love him and he’s always nice to Kara when he bags her groceries. He doesn’t fit into that pretty little box that Kara had built for him.
Kara glances down at the phone that is still resting in her hand and she finds herself very suddenly wanting to see Lena. She must have seen the video by now. Must know that Cadmus and, by extension, her mother are up to their old tricks. Kara still wonders exactly where Lena stands on all of this. The alien detection device had been ambiguous. It was clear that Lena’s intentions hadn’t been malicious but the undertones of prejudice were hard for Kara to ignore.
Still, Kara needs a friend and she has a feeling that Lena might need one too right now. After all, any reminder of her mother usually sends Lena into a small spiral of self-doubt and unhappiness.
hey… can i see you?
Lena’s reply is immediate.
Of course. i’m at the office if you want to swing by.
i’m nearby actually, i’ll be there in five.
It’s a lie, of course, but Kara doesn’t want to have to wait around for too long before flying there. She grabs a change of Kara clothes before hopping out of her window and into the night sky. Normally she’ll scan the city for signs of trouble, but tonight she’s afraid of what she’ll hear. So she flies straight to L-Corp and changes in an alley around the corner (she’d found it the third time going there and loves it because it’s mostly blocked off so no one can see her and it doesn’t ever smell like pee like most of the dingy alleys she finds herself changing in).
Jess is not at her desk, but that’s unsurprising because its past seven and Lena really should have gone home by now. So Kara just sweeps up into the elevator and knocks gently on Lena’s office door. When she hears the quiet ‘come in’ in response, she pushes the door open.
Lena’s sitting at her desk looking prim and poised and lovely and if Kara didn’t know her as well as she does, she wouldn’t have noticed that anything is wrong. But there’s a shadow in Lena’s smile as she greets Kara that she wishes she could wipe away.
“So, what does CatCo want to know?” Lena says, her tone a little tight. “No, I do not know anything about Cadmus. Yes, I do condemn my mother’s actions. No, I do not think aliens should be killed. Yes, I do support Alien Amnesty.” Lena pauses and raises an eyebrow. “You’re not writing anything down?”
Kara gapes and flounders for a seconds. She hadn’t even considered an interview (though now that Lena mentions it, she’s sure that Snapper would be impressed with her initiative.)
“I… I wasn’t going to… I mean, I didn’t come here for an interview.”
Lena’s eyebrows shoot up in surprise but the defensiveness in her posture settles a little and her eyes get softer.
“You’re not?”
“No… I just… I don’t know. Wanted to see you? I saw the video and I just… I don’t know…”
She wants to know what Lena thinks. She wants Lena to tell her that she doesn’t fear aliens like she was raised to. She wants Lena to tell her that if she knew Kara was an alien they would still be friends. Kara had gotten used to the ambiguity, to Lena’s slight but very present discomfort around aliens. But today, with the city roiling beneath them, she needs to know that her best friend would still be there if she knew the truth. But there’s no way to ask her without putting herself in the cross hairs.
“Kara, what’s wrong?”
“Nothing. I just really don’t like Cadmus.”
Something about what Kara just said, or maybe her expression, makes Lena smile in that soft, warm way that Kara selfishly hopes is reserved for her. Lena stands up from her seat and walks around her desk inclining her head towards the couch in the corner of her office in invitation. Kara follows and plops down next to her.
“Tell me what’s bothering you, Kara,” Lena says and while her words are a command, it sounds more like a question, a request.
“I…” Kara pauses because she needs to be careful with her words. When she starts again it’s with a little more confidence. “Whenever Cadmus releases a new video, people start to talk and I hear horrible things. And I have… friends who are aliens and they don’t… they’re good and they don’t deserve this.”
Kara is talking mostly about J’onn, who had almost lost his job, his life, his dignity when he came out the year before. He had done so much for the DEO, so much for humans overall, and he had revealed himself to save Kara’s life. But she’s also talking about M’gann who has struggled through so much to get here and who deserves to be safe. And all the other aliens at the bar just trying to live their lives: Lyra, Mon-El, Brian. And of course, she’s talking about herself. But honestly, she’s the least of her own worries because Supergirl seems to get a free pass from many people because she’s a hero, because she looks human, because they don’t have to worry about bumping into her on the street.
“Friends?” Lena says. “Like Supergirl?”
“I-I mean, she’s one of them,” Kara stutters.
Lena chuckles lightly.
“You’re right. The stuff that people say about aliens are awful. Supergirl, and your other friends, don’t deserve it. But I can understand where people are coming from,” Lena says. “I mean, there are bad aliens out there. You admitted that yourself.”
Lena’s words cut like a knife, though Kara is sure they won’t supposed to. Lena doesn’t know that right now Kara needs unwavering support. Lena doesn’t even know what she’s supposed to be supporting. Still, in her current state, it’s enough to get Kara a little defensive.
“But they’re not all bad. There are so many aliens that are just trying to live their lives. People just don’t know about them because the media only reports on the horrible things. An alien attacked this, alien weapons did that. No one ever talks about the alien family that went to the grocery store today to be ingredients to make lasagna because it reminds them of a food from their home planet. Or the alien guy who does accounting for a non-profit. There are so many aliens who are not exceptional at all. They act like humans, talk like humans, are humans in everything but biology.”
Lena blinks and, while the knowledge that aliens live on earth is pretty wide-spread, seems surprised.
“How many of them do you think there are though? I mean, compared to the ones that are violent?”
“So many,” Kara says. “The violent aliens are not representative. Every race is going to have people who are bad. Humans kill humans all the time. In fact, more humans have died at human hands than at alien hands in the last three years. Most aliens are trying to keep their heads down and just survive because no one abandons the planet they grew up in to come to one where they are hated just for fun. The idea that aliens are coming to earth to invade is a myth and it’s preposterous.”
“What about those aliens last year? The ones that enslaved all of National City?” Lena asks.
Kara feels a familiar twist in her gut. Non is still locked up in the DEO in a cell so secure he could never hope to escape and Winn had figured out a code that would incapacitate Indigo entirely. But they are still an itching worry in the back of her mind. A reminder that though she was supposed to be a safe-keeper of Kryptonian knowledge and culture, she had also locked up one of the last of her people.
“Not representative. And anyway, they didn’t come to earth to enslave us. They crash landed here.”
“And decided to mind-control everyone.”
“They thought they were doing the right thing,” Kara says. “And it’s not like humans haven’t done similar things just without the technology. Censorship, laws, and propaganda all serve similar purposes. They’re just less high tech.”
Lena pauses and seems to consider Kara’s words.
“Still, it’s frightening to some people to consider that there are aliens out there who could kill them in a second if they wanted to.”
“Are you one of those people?” Kara asks.
“I… I don’t know. I’ve never met an alien. I trust Supergirl because she’s saved my life more than once but… I admit that there are few aliens I would feel safe around. I guess I’m not afraid of aliens so much as I’m afraid of what they may think of me and want to do to me because of my family. It wouldn’t be the first time an alien tried to hurt me because of what Lex has done.”
Kara blinks in surprise because she… had not thought about that. She supposes that if anyone on the planet had a right to fear aliens it would be Lex Luthor’s little sister. Of course Lena has a target painted on her back and of course it must be hard for her to trust aliens if she has been attacked by one before.
“But you trust Supergirl?”
“Of course, Kara,” Lena says with a slight laugh. “How could I not? She’s Supergirl. Strong and kind and righteous. She’s better than many humans I’ve met.”
That, at least, is enough to put some of Kara’s fears at ease. She hopes that maybe with time she’ll be able to convince Lena that she can trust aliens and that they aren’t to be feared.
“You’ll protect me, Supergirl?” Lena spits out, and her voice is ice and fire. “Like you protected him? I didn’t see you doing much when he was screaming out my name. You left him there to die.”
“It was you or him,” Kara says back, her voice dreadfully calm. “I don’t have powers right now, I can’t save everyone even when I do. And between you and him, there was never a choice.”
Lena clenches her jaw and turns away from her. Even in the moonlight, Kara can see the tears glistening as they roll down her cheeks. She remembers, before all this, holding Lena in her arms as she cried and swearing to herself that she would do everything she could to make sure she never looked like that again. She wishes she could fold Lena in her arms again and not let go until her tears were dry and her breathing settled. But this time it’s her fault that Lena is crying and Kara wishes, not for the first time, that she could turn back time and start all over.

some kara/lena headcannons + ramblings
ok this is just for me and for funsies ive got a lot of thoughts and not a lot of people to share them with but we might as well start somewhere.
it’s really long fam
Who’s the cuddler: definitely both? kara really likes closeness in general and lena is an absolute sucker for cuddles and + homegirl’s probs really touched starved too so they probably have major cuddling sessions where nothing really happens they just want to be as close as possible to each other. i’ve also seen some headcannons where kara’s basically a human furnace and i can see lena getting *lovingly* frustrated at her girlfriend’s ridiculous body heat but also consider: lena luthor being a cuddle slut and absolutely adoring kara’s eternal warmth
Who’s the big spoon/little spoon: kara likes to default to big spoon but doesn’t mind when lena takes the reigns. they’re probably switch in this.
Fav. non sexual activity: this is a huge fanon thing and i totally am on the bandwagon for it: lazy sundays. just. an entire day where sluggish, hedonistic desires are met and they close themselves off to the world um yes pls this is very kara/lena. also music. i like the idea of them being well-read in the music world and just going to concerts ranging from mahler to andrew bird to nicki minaj and selena gomez and probably some other hipster bands. sharing each other’s spotify’s and sending each other youtube links of cool obscure bands they find. kara discovering someone’s bandcamp and lena anonymously donating to their page. lena loving the opera and introducing kara to verdi. lena having a guilty pleasure for 21 pilots or smth and kara being ???? ok let’s jam. i just really! love! music! and! kara/lena!! (omg kara teaching lena advanced music theory??? maybe lena was semi trained in her youth but never really went past building chords and one afternoon kara just takes her aside and teaches her part writing and its weird ass rules and lena catching on in an instant bc all music theory is an extension of math and logic. them writing songs together im???)
Who uses all the hot water: KARA her apartment may be big and spacious but that don’t mean her water heater is up to date
Most trivial thing they fight over: shoes. they’re like, a half shoe size a part even though lena’s smaller and maybe with certain styles kara can fit in some of lena’s nice loafers or lena lowkey uses this one specific pair of black heels of kara’s and this leads to the pettiest arguments of “those are my shoes and today is my day no you cannot wear them.” also kara accidentally putting things in hard to reach places bc she’s still getting used to living with someone who can’t just fly up to get the pans on top of the fridge.
Who does the most cleaning: they’re both pretty good at keeping things neat. lena’s not used to kara’s ‘throw this here and pick it up later’ system but they work things out. lena’s also really bad at keeping track of how fast her messes pile up and even though she always cleans after herself sometimes kara comes home and there’s just trails of paper and books and like five computers running and she’s like babe ur home office took over the house. also what’s that saying that really intelligent people are the messiest or smth? smth like “an empty desk is an empty brain” idk. i’m just thinking that even though lena presents herself nicely and clearly has a grip on herself just think about her home office being a small battlefield of stacks and files and prototypes. also lena with a messy closet is pretty believable like she may know how to match her clothes but that doesn’t necessarily mean her closet is in pristine condition idk i present to you: kara, organized closet by color and design and lena, these are my yoga pants and they’re hanging next to my 200$ suit
Who controls Netflix queue: kara is queen of netflix and all things to watch. lena doesn’t know how she manages to afford netflix and amazon prime at the same time but then again she also doesn’t know how kara affords her apartment in the first place.
Who calls the landlord when the heat doesn’t work: lena gets it done faster; kara doesn’t even notice the temperature has dropped 20 degrees until lena puts on her winter coat
Who leaves their stuff around: kara’s constantly dropping her clothes in the most random places bc supergirl reasons. lena finds her tights and button up in the bathroom at the beginning of the week and by the end of the week she’s found her shoes in the potted plant, her pants on the kitchen island, and various shirts smashed between things ranging from the stereo set to the fridge. lena’s one of those people who can always remember where they’ve left their stuff even if they’ve left it in a maze
Who remembers to buy the milk: kara’s shopping lists aren’t always practical but she does remember to buy the milk
Who remembers anniversaries: both. at the start of their relationship ena’s afraid to make it a big deal bc fear of rejection and commitment but kara rubs those fears away by being the most supportive girlfriend. also kara having her own reservations about commitment. kara knowing that relationships ask a lot out of people, that both have to work to make it happen. kara trying, despite her previous relationships to go forward and build something strong for lena and her. kara forging on, ignoring the demon in her head telling her that she can’t have it all, that she’ll never be able to find balance, that no one will truly take her for who she is. lena recognizing and soothing these fears, destroying these fears by staying steadfastly by kara’s side and saying fuck it and falling hard and fast for the girl of steel. lena being a dramatic gay and showering kara with expensive gifts and bringing her as her date to exclusive parties. kara bringing lena gifts from the sea and pretty rocks from mountains that humans can’t climb, kara finding the quiet corners of the world and bringing lena there and they build their world from each other’s strength and their secrets bonding them and told through trust. lena and kara in love and a super and a luthor defying the odds because they can and because they will.
Who cooks normally: i love the headcannons of kara being the cook bc hello it’s kara and this girl’s first love on earth (besides alex) was probably food. but i also like the idea of them both being hopeless in the kitchen? like. imagine them both trying to save money and taking cooking classes or watching baking videos online. going to the library and trying out a different recipe each week. lena making a pinterest of all the breakfast items she wants to try on lazy sundays. together, learning how to cook and messing up and getting distracted by each other so their meals turn out just a little bit burnt. kara trying to make homemade icecream. kara eating half the ingredients before lena has a chance to put the roast in the oven. them making thanksgiving dinner and it’s kind of horrible but mostly alright and eliza makes them promise to let her help them out for christmas dinner. kara and lena slowly learning to cook and turning out to be kitchen moms with a wicked way with the cookbook.
How often they fight: god just they can either have the best arguments or the worst ones. they’re both really good communicators though and they’re respectful and sure things get heated and complicated but they live by the “don’t go to bed angry” rule and it really helps. lena can close herself off, be a little dramatic, maybe be a bit reckless when it comes to her self care and kara’s got a huge heart but she’s also terribly headstrong and sometimes their respective stubbornness blinds them. kara can be extra and make rash decisions. but at the end of the day they talk things through and their similar backgrounds help them reach understandings.
What they do when they’re away from each other: kara can visit lena wherever she is in the world but she’s also got her own job and while she’d gladly visit lena everynight lena knows better than to ask her to, knows that space can be good. if lena’s gone for extended periods of time they’ll arrange call times and kara visits when she can so long distance isn’t a main concern between the two of them. supergirl duties take kara away at really random and sometimes inopportune times but lena’s a patient soul and kara always makes sure she’s communicating to lena, making lena a priority but also lena knows that supergirl is The priority and she loves her hero girlfriend. also distance makes the heart grow fonder so imagine maybe their busy schedules overlapping and them not being able to be together for two weeks to a month and both are just going crazy like. kara wanting to rush off to her girlfriend every chance that she gets but lena’s on the other side of the world and up to her neck in corporate shenanigans so when they finally are able to orbit each other again it’s like a supernova and it’s handsy and desperate but also really nice and they just kinda hold each other for awhile and take their time regrouping after the initial homecoming. also kara/lena + reunion sex. bonus points if the next day is a lazy sunday.
Nicknames: idk? i don’t really see them having nicknames unless it’s the teasing miss luthor/miss danvers. they have pet names tho. lots of babes and darlings and sweethearts.
Who is most likely to pay for dinner: lena.
Who steals the covers at night: kara likes the comfort of being in buried in covers even though she really doesn't need them. lena’s a sheet goblin and probably lowkey hogs the bed. not the kara minds bc that girl sleeps like a log in one place.
What they would get each other for gifts: kinda already answered this but also wanted to add that idk where i saw this and i wish i could find it and link it but i read a really good one somewhere where somebody was like “lena gets kara lingerie and it’s an experience” and um yes??? if someone knows what this is pls tell me and i’ll link it/give proper credit im sorry. also! kara getting lena really practical things or gifts from around the world. lena going full out billionaire baby on kara and just the two of them being high end fashion, high end living, high end everything. but also enjoying the other spectrum of comfort and maybe for kara’s birthday they go on a road trip and stay in crappy motels and eat greasy diner food and have the quintessential american experience and it’s cathartic and slow and totally theirs.
Who kissed who first: i love the idea of kara making the first move and a surprised but delighted lena being like yesss.
Who makes the first move: kara’s the one to make all the first moves i’ve decided this. lena’s always just a lil hesitant, always thinking in strategies and kara’s the one to be like ok let’s do this when and where do we meet and they just progress from there.
Who remembers things: lena’s google calendar gives onlookers heart attacks on the spot. kara balances her duties pretty well but sometimes she can slip up and something will go over her head but she’s always responsive and owns up to her actions. they remember big days and lena’s always the one to follow up on dates or plans and kara’s the one that reminds lena to eat or rest or just take some time to herself.
Who started the relationship: their lunch dates turn to dinner dates that turn to hang out sessions until they’re three months down the road in a muddle of uncharted intimacy and one day alex goes “hey where’s ur gf” and kara’s like ??? oh lena. oh. well she’s probably running late bc i know she had a meeting or smth. and alex is like. ah. and kara’s like. ah? and alex is like “u didn’t question that lena’s ur gf? gay.” and kara’s like “omg” and then shenanigans ensue and long story short they’re dating.
Who curses more: lena luthor is a very attractive curser and kara doesn’t know what to do with this information. also. kara cursing in high stress situations or when something takes her by surprise. bed cursing. also kara whispering ‘fuck’ bc of smth and lena doing the side eye emoji.
What they would do if the other was hurt: lena’s become accustomed to seeing supergirl get whipped around on the tv screen but her heart rate still speeds up everytime kara gets hurt. they learn to trust one another and just build this really lovely relationship where the worst has already happened to them so they know that together they can get through anything. lena staying by kara in her sunbed. lena taking care of her helpless gf when her powers blow out. lena being a shoulder to cry on, lena understanding when kara needs someone to understand what kara doesn’t understand. kara doing the same for lena. kara protecting lena to her last breath. kara defending lena until her voice is hoarse. kara bringing lena food. them giving each other backrubs out of comfort or out of need. both of them being just as protective as the other with just as much concern and love and care and tenderness.
Who is the dirty talker: im blushin thinking about this. lena being the vocal one but also kara being really responsive to her? yes. someone fic this. someone probably already did.
Any headcanons? i’m really into kara and lena going to galas/parties and dressing up idk it’s just the aesthetic that gets me. also the music headcannon. i want kara who sings around her apartment or whenever she’s comfortable or when she’s doing work just singing all these songs and some lena recognizes and others are hymn songs from krypton or songs from her childhood. kara being a theatre nerd and geeking out to lena and lena lowkey understanding all of kara’s references. lena knowing piano and kara knowing like twelve different instruments. idk where that huge “kara loves music and learns to control her powers through it” post is but yeah im all for this mmhmm.
i’d also like to add: cello player kara. strings are a hard discipline to learn and you have to have the right amount of pressure and speed to pull the sound out of these types of instruments. also, the cello is low and kara would probably have perfect intonation with the low rumble of the strings, the orchestra, and her super hearing. kara having an extensive knowledge of baroque music and string quartets and being a nerd and analyzing bach chorales. also choir kid kara! being a voice within many and listening to the counterpoint and changing harmony. kara danvers, not a sports kid in high school, but a fine arts kid. going silly and goofy in the drama club, painting in the art club, being in two orchestras and a band on the side. trying out the glee club (ha) and being put in the top choir bc she’s strangely and inexplicably fast at learning the languages and parts. kara forming her own string quartet with her buddies. kara being in the pep band. KARA BEING IN THE MARCHING BAND. DORKY KARA WITH GLASSES AND A HUGE TROMBONE. MAYBE A TRUMPET IDK. OMG KARA DANVERS, BASSOON PLAYER EXTRAORDINAIRE. kara slaying it at karaoke so hard that she’s not allowed back until she learns that karaoke is for fuNSIES and not for taLENTED PEOple kar a stoppppPPP. kara being That Kid that makes all the statewide festivals and competitions. kara not being in it for the glory but for the discipline, the physical balance and strain it takes her to master her craft and this makes her stand out but not in a bad way but in an inspiring way. kara rising to the top bc she practices for herself, because music is an escape like it is for a lot of kids, but especially for her.
also: kara applying her music theory knowledge from krypton to western styles of music???? im??? is it like atonal music or do they have notes that the human ear can’t pick up? what are the scales like/modes?? i don’t read the comics and i have no knowledge on the superman lore but if someone knows pleaSE SHARE. kara likes atonal music bc it’s fun to follow. kara missing krypton’s instruments and subconsciously choosing her earth instruments based on what she remembers from krypton, what feels familiar. kara liking certain pop songs on the radio because the modes are similar to a hymn she heard when she was little. kara getting lost in the dazzle of theatre bc the storylines about going home and finding one’s true self hit something deep within her. kara and music. kara and the fine arts, finding a different type of strength.
also one last thing for all you music nerds out there: don’t think about how ungodly fast she’d be at part writing and finding errors. or how she’d ace all the aural skills parts of theory exams. kara gets a music minor in college in theory and composition and it’s a breeze ok ok im done this was too much fun omg.

Only once Meghan has merged from the post birth fog, will she discover quite what a good move she has made to Windsor. She might be sleep deprived and sore and living in a building site but within a few miles of Frogmore, her newly renovated “forever home” is everything a new mother could need from organic supermarkets and luxury spas to Buggy Fit classes and cafes serving proper coffee. “New mums want to stay in touch with reality and get back into their favourite dresses and round here there are loads of stylish, outdoorsy ways of doing it,” explains Sue Barnes of Lavender Green Flowers, a Windsor local who regularly does the flowers at events at the Royal palaces. Plus, Heathrow is only a short drive away – easy for when granny Doria flies in to help and, in case of emergencies, the Peter Jones nursery department is only 22 miles up the M4.  There will presumably be times when Meghan will crave the bustle of city life but Barnes insists Windsor is a playground for new mums. “I can imagine them taking the baby on a slipper boat down the Thames with a picnic,” she says.  “Or he will play polo at Coworth Park while she relaxes in the spa and the baby sleeps in the crèche. Round here you can also attend society events such as the Royal Windsor Horse Show with your baby in tow, which Meghan will appreciate.” If the Duchess is open to making new friends there will also be plenty of kindred spirits to hang out with, says local mother and parenting blogger Jodie Humphries. “It’s so easy for new mums to make friends around here as many have, like Meghan, moved out of the Royal Borough for a better quality of life,” she says. “We arrive as strangers but form strong friendships through local baby and toddler groups. It’s really helpful to have a set of friends who are all experiencing similar things at the same time.”  The question is: will Meghan flit between Frogmore and five-star spa hotels  – or brave the Windsor playgroups?   Windsor's Buggy Fit crowd meets weekly on the Long Walk - but will Meghan join them? Meghan’s guide to being a new mum in Windsor  The post birth boot camp Meghan has installed a gym and yoga studio at Frogmore, and will presumably ship in private trainers to come to the house – maybe Chloe Hodgson, who takes the pilates classes at Soho Farmhouse, or Notting Hill-based postnatal yoga guru Tara Lee. She might also take ballet barre and legs, bums and tums classes at the Cliveden Club, the private members club and gym attached to the five-star hotel where she stayed the night before her wedding. And then there are Her Majesty’s horses to canter around the Great Park – great for toning the post birth core. She would do well, though, according to Humphries, to pull down her baseball cap and mingle in with the Buggy Fit crowd, which meets weekly on the Long Walk, a few minutes from Frogmore. For this she will need to ditch the traditional royal pram in favour of a sporty buggy such as a BOB Revolution Flex or, if it’s twins, a Bugaboo Donkey. The new mum friends  Her friends the Clooneys live 20 minutes away at Sonning – Amal’s twins are now nearly two, so she can teach Meg the basics – and Elton John and his two children live in Old Windsor. Anna Friel is also a local Windsor mum and over at Henley-on Thames, mother-of-four Sascha Wrottesley, whose father Urs Schwarzenbach is a local polo patron and is a great mate of Prince Charles, will be able to introduce Meghan to the local polo mums. Meanwhile in Virginia Water are pop star Jessica Taylor, who is married to Kevin Pietersen, and TV presenter Kirstie Gallagher both with two children.  If she’s prepared to brave the local baby classes, however (see below), she will meet a raft of other local mums, and can bond over coffee and cake in the cafe at the Windsor Farmshop or on breezy walks in the Great Park. We’d say unlikely, but the option is at least there. The baby classes  There is so much on offer for babies around Windsor that Meghan could risk over stimulating Baby Sussex: baby massage in Maidenhead , Hartbeeps sensory sessions in Windsor and two soft plays, the Jelly Lounge and the Little Gym in Windsor. For older babies Humphries recommends Concertini, live concerts for babies at Norden Farm Centre for the Arts in Maidenhead. “My little boy went to his first concert when he was around six months,” she says. Perhaps most appropriate for Meghan will be Yoga Babes at the Positivity Centre next to Cliveden. “It’s postnatal exercises for mum and groovy moves to nursery rhymes for baby,” Humphries explains.  Me time When Meghan wants to escape the house for some ‘me time’, she should stroll to the Savill garden in Windsor Great Park, says Humphries, which has a great café and stunning scenery. Cliveden will undoubtedly become another favourite with its spa café serving healthy meals and tranquil sitting areas. There is no shortage of baby classes in Windsor  Credit: Paul Edwards/PA Wire Not only do they do lovely afternoon teas and two-hour restorative flotation therapies (£185),  there is also a playground in the National Trust estate for when the baby gets a bit older too. She might bump in to Cliveden regulars Poppy Delevigne and Gabby Logan. Date night Once they feel up to it they will be able book a discreet table at numerous fancy restaurants near Frogmore – the Fat Duck and Royal Oak are 15 minutes away at Bray and both the Waterside Inn and Skindles can be accessed by boat. “Or the Barn at Coworth Park, is relaxed chic and serves amazing food and is out of the spotlight,” says local parenting blogger Melanie Kentish. Brad Pitt has stayed at Coworth and it was where former Dr Who star Matt Smith introduced his girlfriend Lily James to polo. The Sussexes also have a sentimental connection as Harry stayed here on the eve of their wedding.  Family outings There will surely be family picnics on the lawns at Guards Polo, where Harry regularly plays and cream teas at the Royal Windsor Horse Show, a favourite with the Pony Club set including dressage star Laura Tomlinson, Harry’s cousins Lady Louise Windsor and Zara Tindall – her youngest, Lena, will be a partner in crime for Baby Sussex – and Jessica Springsteen, Bruce’s champion showjumper daughter.  “It’s smart but also very family orientated,” Barnes says. And then there’s Henley Royal Regatta, where Harry can catch up with his “wet bob” school chums. Harry might also suggest they go Carters Steam Fair, a traditional fairground, where he rode on the dodgems as a child. “It’s a great place to go if he wanted to show Meghan some British traditions,” Humphries says.  School stress It may feel like much too soon to be talking schools but places are coveted at Asquith Nursery  - one of the best nurseries in Windsor, according to Kentish, while Puddleduck Preschool, which has a similar vibe to Westacre Montessori, the small nursery on the Sandringham Estate where Prince George began his school days is also highly sought after. Another Montessori option is Children of the World Montessori School, which has small class sizes and a large playground.   Royal baby Sussex | Read more Little Sussex might go on to Upton House where Fergie and Andrew sent their girls or Bishopsgate prep, at the entrance to Windsor Park, which is popular with local yummy mummies.
