man, remember events? i wanna have an event where we get a bunch of villains together and actually go to fucking merc a sonic. to be fair, i've always wanted an event like this, but not a whole lot of people write villains so you cant really have an event like that without a. villain. ...but picks up surge. you hate sonic. you are capable of heinous deeds. hm....... food for thought. it is unlikely, but it is not wholly impossible.

i am unabashedly going to speak about my favoritism to certain people and their blogs. kill me where i stand if you must.

whenever i see ame, rain, or gaby on my dash, i feel my brain perk up and go "it's them!!!! it's the them let's write i wanna write with the them!!"

and then there are people who take me SO far back like phia. again, i remember phia from like. my second blog ever on this accursed site, it's a delight to see old friends still kicking.

bwaze you just followed me from your metal sonic and you're in that same category. i remember the smash rpc. i will never forget the smash rpc. and you fell off the face of the planet for a good long while and im super glad to see that you're back in full force.

kia we mostly interact on sonic and knuckles but your knuckles in general makes me so jazzed. it doesnt matter if im even writing with him at the time, the brain cell explodes every time i see The Boy.

and the last ones off the top of my very useless brain are byte and nikki but they're not around anymore. but their mario and geno continue to reside in my head despite their absence and i think that speaks to the overwhelming power their portrayals carried.

and obviously there are a grand number of other blogs that i enjoy seeing on my dash, but this is specifically like. for the folks who arent always around, yknow? and since yall aren't, it makes the dopamine pop the fuck off whenever you jumpscare the dash with your presence and i just want yall to know that you are appreciated and remembered even when you are not active on the dash. gun to your head i love yall.

so i've had the idea of writing silver in my head for quite some time now, but i could never really identify the major difference between him and sonic? like, they're both powerful heroic hedgehogs with upbeat personalities, to describe them in an extremely truncated way. but the big difference that sets them apart, at least in my head, totally just clicked as im making icons.

silver actively wants to be a hero, sonic is just playing the role of one. silver adores the idea of being the one to step in and facilitate change with the opportunities his abilities allow, sonic just does it because it's his nature to upset what troubles him and the things he loves; i.e. the world or his friends. i definitely had a lightbulb above the head moment at that one.
