This redraw took me SO LONG to do but I’m really happy with the result. My energy would wane in and out while working on it and honestly I completely stopped for quite a few months there, but I knew i wanted to finish it, no matter what.

The first two images are the originals that I drew back in 2018 and at the time, it was my proudest drawing. In 2021, I decided that it was time to redraw it, see where my skills had improved and so i worked up a sketch in a teeny tiny sketchpad, but the real work began in 2023 when i finally set up my desk and got back into digital art. Between then, i would send my friends progress pictures as proof i was, in fact, trying to get my passion back going. Until finally, I completed it. The final picture being the unedited version.

The insane thing is I’m not done with this littls project yet. I’m taking a break from it for a bit just to hop right on to doing a second version.

Okay, here's the problem with the Dune (2021)...which I say as someone who had read the book and totally enjoyed the movie...It's really not made for people who've not read the book. It was made by a Dune fan, for Dune fans.

And this is why basically no characters ever actually get proper introductions in the movie? Because Villeneuve assumes that if you're watching the movie, you've read the book and therefore know exactly who Piter De Vries is and why we should hate him. But it's never actually explained.

Which is why I always warn people who want to just go into the movie blind, that they might not enjoy it as some because they are very much not the target audience. And it's like, you might still enjoy it. One doesn't have to be a target audience to appreciate something. However I do say, look, when you see the internet losing its fucking mind over something that you thought was "meh but pretty" you're not crazy.

In many ways, this movie is incredibly niche, but because of the cast, budget and release on streaming because of Covid a TON more people sat down and watched it. I think if the first one hadn't released on HBO, it would not have gained the insane amount of popularity. It would have stayed far more under the radar, and made more around what Blade Runner 2049 made. Instead it made roughly $406 million dollars and no one will stop talking about it.

Okay, this got way longer than I meant it to.

Anyway, this is a SUPER long way of saying, really glad you're reading the book and hope you enjoy it! Be warned the first 100ish pages are a little slow, but once it picks up it really picks up.

Jikookers really started being as nasty to V as tkkers were to Jimin. Not everything V does has hidden evil intentions to “break up” jikook(like they are together). There is nothing wrong with him mentioning Jk, it’s such a no problem, but of course people who take shipping seriously would have a problem with it.

They are so insecure, they like to act like they are better than tkkers but that’s clealy not the case.

Meanwhile me, a pioneer who always said I don't think I could ever be friends with Taehyung because I just don't agree with the way he goes about things.

It's funny you should bring that up now, because it's been a little over a year since I first started using this blog so much, and ironically, it all started November 2021 because taekook had a moment and jikookers were upset about it lmao. It was that time in ITS2 when Taehyung asked JK to cook for him, and a very well known jikook blogger made a post, unprovoked literally unprovoked about how it was an awkward moment and it was uncomfortable to watch and JK was not okay with the whole thing. I replied to her post saying taekook were not awkward during that exchange, and some people apparently interpreted "taekook weren't awkward" as "taekook fuck raw". So they lashed out on me LMAOO.

The posts are all still up, but I'll just post some screenshots so I don't have to add so many links to this. It's just really funny how things (jikookers) have gotten so much more ridiculous since a year ago.

I guess for me what I really hate is the double standards. I've never tried to act like I'm better than anyone else or even that jikook is better than any other option, and as I've said before, I judge taekook by the same standards I judge jikook. It's not like, just as an example, I would think a neck kiss is romantic because jikook do it and then turn around and think it doesn't mean anything if taekook do it. No, to me it does mean something in both cases.

I think I've made it known a couple of times that I understand taekookers, I understand what they see in their ship and also what they don't see in jikook. It doesn't mean I think the same way, but I can put myself in their shoes.

So, double standards. You have jikookers who see tk interactions as forced or awkward even when they aren't, but then they're like "how can taekookers think jikook is forced they're insane they should watch real content", but you are allowed to think taekook are awkward, right?? Then, so can taekookers lmao.

Dynamite Christmas remix. Jimin made it look like he was kissing JK and then JK quite literally ran away from him and left him alone while he joined the other members. I just know the things jikookers would've said if that was Taehyung instead of Jimin. If you can think that of Taehyung, what makes it so crazy that taekookers would think the same of Jimin?

For years jikookers laughed that JK didn't know or kept forgetting that Taehyung doesn't eat spicy food. Jungkook this year: I don't know where Jimin got his tattoo. Suddenly jikookers are preaching that couples are allowed to not know or forget things about each other. Or they outright ignore Jungkook didn't know because they can't explain it and make it make sense with them dating.

Pretty sure jikookers laughed about Jungkook calling Taehyung bro for his birthday last year when everyone else called him "love", then this year he goes and calls Jimin bro as well. And there go jikookers making essays about how BRO is such a couple thing to call each other and hey, there's even a gay movie called BROS did you know? So gay omg. Limp Wrist. Rainbow. Glitter. Dick. Butt.

There are jikookers who think Taehyung should speak up for Jennie because she's maybe his girlfriend and she's getting hate from his shippers, so he should stop adding more fuel to the taekook fire, but those jikookers also believe jikook are in a relationship, so shouldn't the same be expected of JK? Shouldn't he also speak up and stand up for his friend Jimin after all of these years?

Other thing I also hate, and it's probably what bothers me the most is that taekookers have been hating on Jimin for YEARS, and whatever jikookers say about Taehyung, they say it only because of jikook. It was never about Jimin. If you take out Jimin hate, if it suddenly stops, will there be any jikook hate at all? Hardly. Even if the Jimin hate has been going on for years, jikookers only started fighting 2021ish because taekook were besties again and jikook is not in the picture anymore.

Jimin gets called a thirdwheel and all jikook warriors get their screenshots ready and tweet jikook boyfriends 39058904 times. Taekookers have been saying Jimin was hooking up with escorts in Paris in 2019 and jikookers do not care but suddenly saying he was a thirdwheel is a major offense.

Kths had it coming. I literally do not care about being the bigger person, being the bigger person is overrated and useless. I seriously do not gaf if 5 people use a frog emoji for a couple of hours. It will never be nearly enough for all the things they've said about Jimin and made me read about him and made other people BELIEVE about him. They had it coming for all the years they've been the most horrible people towards him for no reason, so I really don't care if they are upset because they have to see people call Taehyung a frog FOR ONE DAY. You reap what you sow.

It bothers me tho that it's been happening for years with Jimin but jikookers never had anything to say until taekook started having moments LMFAO. It was never about defending Jimin. It was always about proving who is Jungkook in love with and who is Jungkook the happiest with.

I'm personally not fine with fanservice talk. I will be the first one to say they all do fanservice, but that's not the foundation of their relationship/s and it's only something to keep fans entertained and excited. They can do fanservice while actually being friends. Thinking that all the interactions are fanservice and not geniune is a different thing and I've never thought that; if you think taekook is fanservice, then you're thinking that of Jungkook too. If that's the way you want to think of JK, then go ahead.

Taekookers say Jimin does fanservice and act like that's his only personality trait because they hate him and think JK is a victim.

Jikookers don't even hate Taehyung like but they say taekook is fanservice because they're frustrated and because they also think Jungkook is a victim, and they say stuff like JK is doing nothing and he just gets dragged into Taehyung's lies....??????????? I'm pretty sure that if JK can decide to buy a 7 million dollar house, among other adult stuff he surely does, he can go to his bandmate and tell him "bro (romantically), stop lying about me/us/whatever".

Neither jikook nor taekook are the JK hostage situations both sides want it to be. Jungkook has a functioning brain, or at least it seems like he does. And by all means, go and call Taehyung a frog, until they stop defaming Jimin, I literally do not care and one way or another taekookers and everyone else should understand that what you do and say usually have consequences. It's only annoying that jikookers are doing this now because they think precious jikook is being threatened by Taehyung and not for the real damage that's been made against Jimin. And I hope they know that it won't change anything now.

❣️ #GMMTV2022 - aka the most intense 4,5 hours of 2021 lmaoo but I’m really excited for a lot of the stuff that was announced! Especially The Eclipse, Moonlight Chicken and Never Let Me Go did it for me lol. But all of them look good honestly. The bls seem to be going into a darker direction compared to last year which is very exciting!! (but only as long as they have a happy ending lmao) yay!!!

❣️ DanYok (Not Me) - to say those 2 have taken over my life would be an understatement jdkhgkd. Their energy is insane and I don’t think I’ve ever experienced such a severe case of side couple syndrome hhhh. I’m super stoked for their story; there’s so much that’s untold and everything is wide open. They have made the absolute best of their minimal screen time so far and I’m so excited for more 🥺 

👎🏻 It’s been really sad to see all the negativity surrounding Not Me due to the political stuff and the novel copyright drama. I don’t wanna call anyone out but the show is making good points and for people to say it’s problematic (amongst other stuff) is sad. I hope this dies down at some point bc the show is phenomenal and they don’t deserve any of this.

Fall 2021 Anime Opinions

As I always do, ranking the anime I watched this season, I’ll do it a bit different this time leaving my overview at the top and more thoughts under the cut ^^ if you are offended easily I recommend you maybe skip this one I understand my takes are not everyone’s taste xdd

Deep Insanity: The Lost Child

I dont know if this is fair because I only watched one and a half episodes of this but it was very bad. The premise sounds amazing and then the final product just,,,,,, very disappointing rip.

Komi-san wa, Comyushou desu.

I dont think i've felt this infuriated about an anime since Yesterday wo Utatte. I really want to like Komi Cant Communicate, hell if I were to rank it based on the first ep it would easily go in the first tiers. But my problem with this anime comes from a more rutted dislike of the portrayal of the characters more than anything in the following episodes. Specifically episode 4 with the whole kidnapping Tadano plot line where the queer coded character was psychotic and obsessive to a very yikers point,,,,, idk man kinda left me with a sour taste. Not to say the anime itself is bad, it has cute moments and characters here and there (shoutout to Tadano and Najimi being the best things of this anime) but my anger towards the portrayal of something I feel very connected towards like social anxiety and other thematics just left me ://

Takt Op. Destiny

I think Takt Op is an example of how we can confuse something stunning and artistically beautiful for a good anime. Imo from what i've watched (because I am not caught up) its painfully generic and although it has some cool scenes and stuff no character stands out and being categorized into the music genre seems like a big stretch but alas, if you enjoy it thats fine, the visuals are beautiful.

Platinum End

I don't know If this should above or below Takt Op but ive watched more episodes of this so hey maybe thats an indicator of hooking. I really don't have much to say about platinum end, I don't think its trash, I dont think its good either,,,, I feel like the concept is kinda neat although a bit overdone but yeah its fine. I liked this moment I put on the gif tho, that was very cool animated.

Sankaku Mado no Sotogawa wa Yoru

Objectively this should be lower but I liked the blonde with the piercing so it goes higher lmaoo. This is..... This.... I dont know? ASDFGHJK Its about..... exorcism? They..... Fuck each others souls or something? I have no idea what is going on half of the time in this but I feel like the source material had potential because some story plots are actually very interesting (like main blonde guy's backstory) but idk, I haven't read the manga so I wouldn't know.

Tsuki to Laika to Nosferatu

How can something with such an interesting premise be so painfully.... bland. Theres not much to say about this one, the pacing is very bad imo and the characters aren't substantial enough to hold interest. I watch this at x2 speed and idk.... The visuals are pretty and I do think eventually it will arrive to a cool arc and conclusion but for what ive seen its just very average. (also like this was the only gif I could find?? like?? asdfghj)

Visual Prison

Visual prison is definetely not for everyone sdfghjk I enjoy it for its premise and what not but I dont think the plot to anything about it is 100% the most original or intricate storytelling, its cute, its easy, nice visuals and boys, I take it Lmaooo. Tbh I am not the biggest fan of vampire themed shows, this is like I-Chu with Vampires and I dont really like vampires but I really like I-Chu so thats where we stand at.

Kyuuketsuki Sugu Shinu

Okay now onto the things I actually enjoyed asdfghj. I will start of saying this is not a show for everyone to enjoy tbh, its a comedy and its very raw and raunchy. John and Draluc are the best part of this and they are pretty faithful to the manga too. I think the gif is pretty self explanatory LMAOO.

Blue Period

I think most of what I would like to say about blue period has already been commented upon but wellp, I do agree the manga is better but the anime isnt the biggest piece of trash media to exist either. I think the animation lacks and the story got cut off at some points for the sake of rushing through the arc but the characters are there being cute and yatoyota my beloved so I enjoy it a lot ^^ Take this as an invitation to go read the manga ayeEEEe

Deji Meets Girl

You may find it unfair I rank a 2 minute episodic small animation but alas, I rank things based on what they offer and what they are and for what it is, Deji Meets Girl is absolutely beautiful and cute! Its an easy premise that I enjoy catching up to each week and the art is super cute, not much more to say on it. Rip Tumblr that has no gifs for them.

Mieruko-chan

Mieruko Chan was a show I wasnt even going to originally watch, I thought it would be fan service bait and I am not a big fan of that and although at some points it kinda is fan service bait, for what it is Mieruko Chan is one of the animes with better pacing I have ever watched. I dont know how to describe it but each episode hooks you even more and you cant look away and when I least expect it the ep is over and I am waiting to see what happens to poor Miko next week asdfghj I am defo picking up the manga.

Ousama Ranking

This is honestly tied with number one spot, Ousama Ranking absolutely destroyed my expectations for it and its a gem imo. This made me cried like a bitch and I think the simple animation adds way more than taking away and I just,,,,, I really dont wanna spoil it but if you like emotional symbolic stories defo watch this!!

Senpai ga Uzai Kouhai no Hanashi

Y'all dont know how much happiness watching this anime brings me asdfghj. Its adorable, the relationships are cute, the moments are wholesome,,,,, Its a very cute easy watch for those who enjoy romance anime and slice of life and I am definetely taking up the web manga afterwards ^^ Not much more on it other than I love it asdfgh
