One of my biggest annoyances is leftists and communists beinging up Biden’s tweets during the 2020 campaign of things he said he would do, and being like “see?? he didn’t deliver on anything and this is why you shouldn’t vote for the Dems again” Like, for all the understanding they seem to have of communist or marxist or whatever theory, the idea that the President is not a king and can’t do whatever he wants without Congress’s approval is lost on them?? He still believes in those things but if Congress won’t pass the legislation what is he supposed to do? EOs won’t solve all our problems.

Yeah. Not even to mention, the claim that "Biden hasn't done/delivered anything!!!" is a big fat lie, as people keep pointing out the things he has done, with a razor-thin House majority (until 2022) and two "Democratic" senators who torpedoed everything and one of whom has now literally left the party (Manchin and Sinema). So while Online Leftists obviously don't understand the difference between "achieving all of his campaign goals" and "achieving some," for the last frikkin time, Biden has done a lot of good things in very bad circumstances!!!!!! Using "he didn't do everything!!!!" as an excuse to not vote and so enable the open and unrepentant fascists is the stupidest fucking thing I have ever heard!!!!

Like. Take the debt deal. As in other things, Biden clearly learned from Obama's mistake (which was believing that the Republicans would ever negotiate in good faith about anything, and/or would reciprocate in kind if Biden made concessions). McCarthy whined for WEEKS that Biden wasn't listening and wasn't talking to him and wasn't entertaining his ridiculous proposals (22% cuts in ALL discretionary/non-military spending, including Social Security, Medicare, etc etc, while preserving the giant Trump tax cuts for the rich.) No matter that a full one-quarter of the national debt ($7.8 trillion of $31 trillion) was racked up under Trump and the debt ceiling involves paying bills that have already been spent. No sir, those Damn Free-Spending Democrats wanted to use your money on icky things like ~social welfare!! It was mean and it was hypocritical and it was blindingly obvious, and Biden just completely ignored it. He didn't try to negotiate in good faith with that, because there was no way it would work. He just let them whine.

Then, when it came down to it, Biden went in and got a deal that preserves pretty much all of the Democrats' major legislative priorities and expansions from the last two years. The only real change is raising the work requirement age for childless adults on SNAP food assistance from 49 to 54, but this has also been accompanied by a corresponding expansion of the definition "homeless" to make more people eligible, some for the first time ever. There's not going to be any major new spending for the next two years, but that wasn't happening anyway since the GOP controls the House and wouldn't agree to anything Biden put in the budget (and plus, none of the money that has already been allocated through the American Rescue Plan and other federal assistance is getting taken away). But more importantly, it raises the debt ceiling for the next TWO years and it won't come up again until after 2024. That is HUGE: the GOP really, REALLY wanted to hold the economy hostage again prior to the next presidential election. But Biden basically went in and told McCarthy to stfu and got what he wanted. Qevin was even forced, after months of "Sleepy Joe" GOP propaganda, to call Biden "very smart and very tough" in the negotiations. Soooo.

Anyway, this is what I mean: this isn't as sexy and/or as utterly fucking useless as spouting lukewarm rebaked "Marxist" propaganda on the Twittermachine about how Biden hasn't done anything, but it's the actual nitty-gritty work of government and flat-out beating the Republicans. They got absolutely shit-all that they wanted, because Biden didn't fall for their same old, same old dirty tricks and disingenuous squealing. He went in, got the job done, and will get way less credit for it than he deserves, from anyone. Dunno about you, but I like that guy. I plan to vote for him again.

WAIT Y/N! Quick Note: For those of you that saw ‘chapter one’ I decided to just break it down into individual parts all based on NEP’s PUP EP because I’m obsessed and it gives me hardcore Colby vibes so for all of us Colby Brock girls, this ones for us!

You had become close friends with Kris and Celina in the last few years of your career, they were the only ones that truly knew what you wanted to do on YouTube and about your gift

You smiled at your phone, but then frowned as you knew it was vlogmas and that you needed that time to create content, during Vlogmas it was hard to keep up the double life, so you replied with

Y/N: I truly wish I could, but it's Vlogmas :( and I really need the time to create content.

Kris: Oh, yeah I forgot. It's understandable, but we'll really miss you this month.

Celina: you should just tell your fans the truth, I'm sure they'd understand and be really excited for the new content.

You had wished that it would be like that, but you knew otherwise, you had seen one person who was truly successful at a whole new brand change which was Taylor Swift, and you were no Taylor Swift. Instead you were Miley Cyrus, living a double life.

Y/N: guys unfortunately I'm no Taylor Swift... instead I'm a Miley Cyrus...

You chuckled as you replied, no matter how much you truly cherished your friendships with the other lifestyle guru's especially Adelaine you knew you only truly fit in with Kris and Celina, they made you feel welcomed, they made you laugh and you could always be your truest self without being judged.

Y/N: I have to go! I have the gym this morning, but I'll talk to you guys later

You added to the chat and headed off to pick up Adelaine in your yellow Tesla, your dream car. You picked up Adelaine and the two of you went to grab something for breakfast from Starbucks before heading to the GYM.

‘Say what?’ You asked, confused.

‘Okay, I’m good.’ You admitted, turning around and looking into his eyes trying to make him feel just as intimidated.

‘Good Girl.’ He said looking into your eyes, he definitely wasn’t the littlest bit intimidated and he took his bass back before walking out on stage.

You still remembered everything he ‘taught you that night’ even how surprised he was when you played for him and found out how good you were.

You blushed, thinking about it until Adelaine’s voice bought you out of it. ‘Y/N!’ She spoke loudly before waving her hand in your face. ‘What are you thinking about that’s got your face all red? Wait! Is it a guy? Finally!’ She grinned. ‘WHO? Who is it?’ She asked, excited. She had been waiting for you to get into a relationship since you guys had met seven years ago, you had never had a boyfriend before.

‘Nobody.’ You laughed, your phone pinging again.

‘Is that him?’ She asked, reaching for your phone and you instantly became scared of her seeing who was messaging you so you shoved your phone into your pocket.

‘Don’t.’ You said sternly. She was surprised but that but dropped the conversation not wanting to upset you further.

‘Who is that for anyway?’ She asked you, looking into your trolley. ‘Just a friend from back home’ You lied. You hated lying to your best friend of seven years but your fear was far too strong and you knew you needed to keep the two lives separate, if you ever felt the courage to change your carer she would be the first to know, other then those from that other life.

Kris: Count me in!

You sighed, reading the message that had come through

Y/N: Have fun guys!

was all you could say, knowing your fans were counting on you getting enough footage each day for vlogmas. Instead of counting down to Christmas you were counting down the days until you could finally spend time with your best friends and see the boy that you had a crush on, not a crush- you just thought he was cute- or annoying.

You got there 45 minutes later as Celina lived in a secluded area the time now reading 12:45AM. You took a few seconds to pull yourself together knowing that you truly had a crush on Colby Brock, no matter how hard you tried to deny it.

“I can’t believe you guys wanted for me, I can’t even be in any of the footage.” You stated, feeling disappointed in yourself.

“We just enjoy your company, plus we always know we’re on the right path when you’re here because of your gift.” Colby said, looking at you with the kindest eyes.

You just smiled and nodded before you turned out of the frame and let them continue their filming, all of you walking towards the outdoor cabin, them filling you in on what you had missed.

“We’re going to play this game, it’s basically a ritual. It’s called the corner game.’ Sam started explaining. ‘So basically the idea of the game is to use all of our energy to summon said thing we want to talk to into the space that we’re here.’ He finished before adding on that the whole point of the night was to try and get rid of Elias. You instantly felt the negative energy and knew that it was Elias. “He doesn’t like that.” You said, Colby standing next to you out of the frame but recording Sam speaking. He instantly looked at you, and could tell that you were feeling uneasy.

“It’s summoning him right?” Colby asked and Sam replied “Summoning him into our space.” You nodded your head before Colby assured all of you that they had a plan and not to worry, you took their word for it and you all started the ritual.

Whilst you all undertook the summoning ritual, you were the last in, after Colby so that it would be easier to edit your voice out.

“Y/N! Y/N! Y/N!” You chose your corner and instantly felt Elias’ in the cabin with you, the uneasy feeling following you, you chose your corner and then the ritual went on, the energy just getting worse and worse.

“Y/N! Y/N! Y/N!” You said lastly, walking out of the door and closing it behind you, however Colby needing to go back and close the door so you weren’t in the video.

It was now 3:30AM and the two of you still weren’t asleep, you had gotten cold and so he gave you his sweater which was apart of the new XPLR merch, it was the purple ‘busy fighting demons’ sweater, you had been wanting one and now you had one and it smelt like Colby. However it fit you terribly but it was okay because you felt all cute and chic. You hadn’t spoken much to each other, only stealing glances when you’d look up from your phones. You were sleeping head to toe together in bed, and occasionally you could feel his leg touch yours and you weren’t sure if it was on purpose or because of the way you sit in the single bed together.

“I’m starving, I didn’t eat dinner.” You admitted.

I'm not sure if you've said this outright but, how old are each of the characters?

Barring the obvious exceptions, Ark and Celebi, I've been trying, and failing, to figure out how old they all were during the events of EOS, it's post-game and TPiaG.

My failure to set concrete ages for the characters as well as neglecting to plot a year-by-year timeline is finally catching up with me.

I never really paid much attention to the cast’s ages beyond being kids vs. adults. The accuracy of a timeline has never been as important to me as telling a story, as long as it mostly makes sense at first glance. I am mathematically challenged, after all. However, I’ve attempted to redeem my past laziness and finally sat down to make a series of checkpoints for the ages of the main cast (those who age, at least) throughout the events of the game and fanfic! I really hope I got the math and events right… As a quick way of calculating people’s ages, I used Twig as a waypoint for everyone else to be based around.

When Twig and Grovyle first encounter each other, they’re very young. I think I said Twig was six years old when she left her bunker in TPiaG itself, but based on how I wrote her as a human, I think I should bump that number up to eight.

🤩 ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: sergi_h2opolo7 Hello everyone! It's time to direct the spotlight toward our community members, and today we will get to know better sergi_h2opolo7!

"Hey there! I'm Sergio Paredes, but you can know me as sergi_h2opolo7 on instagram.

When I was a kid, I absolutely adored Playmobil toys, and now I'm an amateur collector. With all the extra time at home during the COVID-19 pandemic, I started taking photos of my collection.

As I got more into toyphotography, I began researching and learning new techniques to make my photos even better. What had started as mere entertainment now occupies much of my free time!

About a year ago, my curiosity in the LEGO world was awakened when two minifigures arrived to my hands which immediately caught my attention. These two minifigs are the faun from series 15 and the forest elf from series 22. I don't know exactly why, but the two figures seem to be in harmony with nature. Their expressions, their design make them cute and adorable.

It sparked my attentions rapidly and started to think about the beautiful photos that could be taken with them. This led me to begin my adventure with LEGO photography.

My collection of minifigures has been growing up gradually since then and with each photo, my fascination in LEGO world as well. My collection mainly consists of minifigures with some loose accessories. So, I usually photograph minifigures to share a specific story or feeling in each photo.

I don't have a defined theme, but if I had to choose one, I would choose the medieval theme. I love medieval age and his historical movies with epic battles and LEGO Castle reference and minifigures are perfect for it.

Most of my photos are taken at home because I don't have as much free time as I'd like and I have all my accessories close at hand to put on, take off, etc... But I also really like outdoor photography.

The main equipment I use is my Canon EOS 2000d, different lamps to play with light, atmosphere aerosol and nano spray aerosol for outdoor photos, and also for indoor photos I usually use the screen of the PC for backgrounds and different floor designs.

Its so weird that I have been sitting on this ask since yesterday and I can't think of any. Like when someone asks you about you favorite movie and you draw a blank. Lol.

Anyway hc time

Dazai doesnt have sh scars under his bandages. He wears them because he is touch repulsed. Very few people are allowed to touch him skin to skin and even then he needs to be the one to initiate the contact. (Feel like sh scars goes against his hates pain thing).

Dazai is not actually an orphan.

Chuuya's apartment is a mess. It went from being an unattended minimalistic nightmare in sb to a trinket filled eclectic disaster because following the death of the Flags Chuuya started hoarding everything anyone gave to him. A lot of the stuff in his apartment are things he took from the Flag's possessions.

Dazai and Chuuya used to give each other hair cuts. Dazai at one point cut too much off and gave Chuuya a bald spot and Chuuya retaliated by giving Dazai a terrible bowl cut.

Post sb Dazai was actually staying in Chuuya's apartment. Mostly on the couch but sometimes they'd share the bed on bad nights.

Dazai is a better cook than Chuuya but only if he wants to impress someone. Otherwise he's happy to eat chicken nuggets dipped in chocolate sauce.

Chuuya likes fancy food but can't really cook well. He has a habit of forgetting that he put food on the flame and crashes a lot out of exhaustion. Baby needs to rest.

Dazai has a fixed time when he breaks in just to turn the stove off.

Chuuya knows Dazai breaks into his house often cause Dazai shifts all his furniture by 1 mm and causes Chuuya to bang his toes and knees into everything.

Dazai once managed to convince everyone in Chuuya's building that the 22 year old Chuuya is actually a sad runaway child living all alone.

The little old lady across from Chuuya thinks Dazai is his doting husband cause they keep refering to eo as partner.

They have movie nights.

Dazai has ruined Titanic for Chuuya.

Dazai hates the fact that Chuuya is smarter than him when it comes to physics.

I'd love to know your thoughts on member dynamics during any Jikook dust ups over the years. Note: I believe Jimin is the original OT7er, and I agree with you that he probably put the group's needs ahead of their relationship. Every relationship has growing pains, though. Anyway, I tend to think Tae would side with whoever he thought was right in that moment. He definitely didn't like JK's tendency to be possessive of Jimin's time, in my opinion, and I think all the members probably checked JK on that at some point. I flip back and forth with Hobi b/c I think he's a peacemaker and probably wouldn't take sides. I'm not sure about Namjoon and Jin. Namjoon, being leader, I don't think he'd pick sides, but he did push back on JK's possessiveness in terms of skinship. I think Suga wouldn't give a flip.

Added bonus: this edit which I find funny though I haven't seen the original interaction to see where the creator took liberties, if any. I've seen Tkkrs use this clip as a "hey, Taekook approves of Yoonmin" moment, but, LOL, how? To me it reads more like Tae acting as a Jeon satellite assistant moment. Anyway, it's a cute edit. Tarheeeeeeel. This is one hell of a question. But since you didn't say a break up i think it's quite easy. I believe all the members would listen to both sides and support the one they think is right. It wouldn't be about Jimin or JK it would be about reason. I think the Tannies are adult and mature enough to do this. So that's my answer. They would go by logic. And I can see RM and Jhope not even picking sides but rather talking to them and trying to get to the root of the issue.

So that's which side members are taking when Jikook fight or argue. I wanna talk about if God forbid there was a break up. Simply because I wanna hear what you guys think also.

So if Jikook were over (not gonna happen but if they were) and it wasn't amicable and members were forced to choose sides,

Let's start from the top. Who gets RM during the divorce? What do we know about RM and Jikook? We know Jimin is his confidant. We know he goes to Jimin when he's stuck and doesn't know the way forward. We know he and Jimin are always having heavy in depth talks and Jimin is always there for him. So I think Jimin gets RM during the divorce. Minimoni are legit.

Jin. We know after Jimin, JK is closest to Jin. The oldest member basically raised him. JK is Jin's baby y'all.❤ Tom and Jerry, they get along splendidly and there is never a dull moment when Jinkook are together. Even though Jimin has been there for Jin emotionally too, I personally think JK gets Jin in the divorce.

Suga. Do I need to say it? 😂😂 This dude is a no brainer. Of course Jimin gets Suga during the divorce.

Jhope. Another no brainer. This is Jimin's person. His best friend. His soulmate. His roommate for life. He knows where all the bodies are buried, Jimin trusts him explicitly. When JK messes up Jhope cannot wait to tell Jimin so yeah, I think we know who's side he would be on. 😂

Last but not least, V. Hmm... Kim Taehyung is a wild card. With him,

If you had asked me this before recent developments, I would have said Jimin gets V in the divorce. Easy. But now? Now Idk. He could be team Jimin, could be team JK, could refuse to pick a side and go wooga squad away. Who knows 🤷🏽‍♀️ As it stands I just dk who V would choose. Would love to hear y'alls thoughts though...

Do you understand what you are asking me to do? Like, there are over 500 episodes. Top 5?!?! That's, like, 1%. I can't... I just can't... I have been going over season by season and I'm up to S13, I already have a list of over 70 episodes and so will definitely have to narrow it down. Scrap that, I'm gonna go into headings.

Top 5 SVU Episodes Overall In SVU 1.0:

"911". Season 7, episode 3. Without a doubt, I love this one. The drama, the suspense, a child in danger, Olivia all dressed up, Olivia showing emotion, Olivia going absolutely feral as she cracks a guy's nose with her elbow, then pushes him down on the bed and threatens his life? Fuckin' A. Will watch that one forever and ever.

"Signature". Season 9, episode 12. Erika Christenson as Agent Cooper, plus Olivia pairing up to hunt a psychotic serial killer/torturer? Lack of Elliot? Yes please. Give me some angst... oh, that's right. You do. A victim that may have lived if different choices had been made. A multi-state FBI case. The moral dilemma of how right it is to kill a purely evil psychopath, which we can all understand, but there is supposed to the law and you can't just go off and shoot who you want. Olivia being slightly (a lot) traumatised because she has over-identified with Agent Cooper and then Cooper shoots herself in front of Liv while saying "Those who hunt monsters should be careful, lest they become monsters". It has everything.

"Zebras", Season 10, episode 22. This is just fun all around. There's a puzzling murder mystery. Inept crime techs we all love to hate. Over protective Elliot almost punching out a guy for suggesting Olivia might be a good victim. Cragen not even caring and telling the guy he'd deserve it. THEN, well, we all know what happens, right? With the hostage taking and Olivia pretending to take sides and slapping the ever living fuck out Elliot and screaming at him? Then fake kissing the perp? Yeah, we know. We love it.

"Locum"/"Bullseye", Season 12, episodes 1 and 2. Originally shown together as a season opener and later edited to be streamed separately. Bailey Madison as a little lost girl (score one more for Olivia's orphanage of lost case children) who tries so desperately to escape her batshit crazy parents (hi Joan Cusack, we love you) and is ultimately left in a bad situation while everyone else around her gets a happy ending? That poor child. I still believe Olivia should have just taken her. Then pad it out with a horrific pedophilia case with Henry Ian Cusick and a bunch of traumatised ten year old girls. Like, it's a lot, but it's a good set of episodes. The angst. The drama. The absolute absurdity of ANYONE calling Olivia dried up and repulsive. (Man, have you no eyes?).

"Behave", Season 12, episode 3. I cannot. Jennifer Love Hewitt. The trauma. Olivia stepping up and lending her power until she can find it in herself again. Olivia being all badass "You're my bitch now". The entire squad getting up in that guy's face, like the absurdity of a bunch of detectives following this guy into the bathroom to watch him pee, and sitting in his medical conferences to publicly ask why he rapes women. And Olivia being all go get 'em and travelling interstate to get her evidence. And JLH at the end, all "Be a good boy". The absolute satisfaction of it. It's a good episode with a good outcome and a good story.

Top 5 Episodes in later seasons, post Elliot:

"Hunting Ground", Season 13, episode 15. Not only do we get a psycho killer abducting young women and taking them out into the woods to drug them and hunt them down for sport (and the odd rape now and again, it *is* SVU after all). This is the first episode that really cements Nick as Olivia's new partner, the building of a great bond. I adore it.

"Institutional Fail", Season 17, episode 4. This will always hold a place in my heart. This is the episode that got me hooked on SVU. I had never seen the show, it wasn't even on my radar, until about November last year when I saw clips of this episode on FB. I was only able to track down what show it was from, because I knew Whoopi Goldberg (I mean, who doesn't, let's be real). It's a good story, it tugs on the heart strings. And it has abolutely no characters from the early seasons (except Olivia, who is radically different seventeen years earlier) which lead me to actually question if it was the right show for the first few episodes of season 1, but then I was hooked so it didn't matter.

"Townhouse Incident", Season 17, episode 11. I mean, let's face it. Olivia being taken hostage (yet again, for all perpetuity, come on girl, you need to have a lojack installed on your person or something... a personal alarm necklace or something... please) yet again is always fun. Bloody her up a little. Bring back her Lewis PTSD. What's not to like?

"The Book of Esther", Season 19, episode 20. This one draws me in every time. I don't know why. I almost always end up hoping it ends different, when I know it doesn't. The way it draws Amanda in and Olivia can tell her time and time again from experience not to get too involved, but she won't listen, and it nearly breaks her. The absolute absurdity of her being the one to take that shot and the cruelty (and necessity) of Olivia being the one to tell her.

"Remember Me/Remember Me Too", Season 19, episodes 23 and 24. Okay, okay, I know it. Olivia is taken hostage again (that personal alarm necklace is lookin' pretty good right about now, huh?). But it's more than that. It's the return of Feral Liv. Like, full out, balls to the wall, screaming red faced and incoherent in the face of a tied up man. And, honestly, the first time I saw this episode, I did not know whether or not she was playing a part to pacify the victim/hostage taker, or whether she believed her and this was honest emotion and it gets me everytime. Because it could have gone either way.

I mean, I'm already at five and there's still five season to go!!! C'mon here. It's not fair. I've already culled so MANY good ones. I'm sad. Sad Jacqui. 😞

Top 5 Storylines:

William Lewis, beginning at the end of S14 and continuing throughout S15. I am a sucker for threatening my favourite female characters. Hell yeah, let's kidnap Olivia and tie her up and get her all bloody and make her fight for her life. Then show us the aftermath and the horrific trial and her therapy and the subtle signs of trauma and PTSD afterwards... and THEN bring him back to fuck up her life some more so that it carries with her for years afterwards and is given to us in small doses of her trauma recall. I am ALL FOR THAT SHIT. Let's go.

Olivia's ongoing child hunt, trawling through all her cases for the perfect baby/child. Like, from a popstar's neglected daughter, to a crack addicted dying baby, to poor fostered Calvin being wrested screaming from her broken hearted arms... YES. Give me more. Oh, you will? A baby sold to child pornographers and kept in a drawer? That turns out to be the love child of a junkie prostitute and the devil incarnate human trafficker/pimp that she gets to adopt? That later turns out to be insane Psycho Brooke Sheild's grandson? This is my crack. Oh, what's that? He has blood relatives and decides to decimate her by calling complete strangers the only real family he has? Mmmmmm, fine wine.

Olivia as collateral damage. All of it. From her tragic conception, the rape of her mother, to her mother's inability to love her, her mother's psychological (bordering on physical) abuse of her, the absolute cruelty of her childhood that leads her to pursue a career in SVU so she can heal people the way her mother (and she herself) were never healed. That she can get the justic for others that she and her mother were always denied. Yesss. Give it. Bring it back in tantalising doses, like her inability to trust others, her inability to let others help, that poor neglected little girl that rises to the surface all the time, that locks herself in an interrogation room and bares her soul to a victim/killer despite Fin and Carisi trying to pull her out... that makes her look women in the eye when they tell her they cannot raise a monster baby left to them by their rapist. The way it leads her to never trust affection and keep everyone at bay. No, Cassidy, she'll never love you. No, Ed, she'll never trust happiness with you because happiness never lasts, not for her. The only one she'll ever really open up to is the ONE PERSON WHO IS UNAVAILABLE forever and ever. In every aspect is he unavailable, her work partner, her MARRIED work partner. The only one she can trust, because she never feels worthy of anything good. It's like they reached into my brain and looked at all the shiny buttons and decided to push them all.

Amanda forever and ever (at least in the early years) putting herself out there as bait, as a potential victim with no thought to her safety, because she refuses to see herself as anything but a victim and carries so much guilt, feeling complicit in her own rape, so she has to try to make it happen again to prove to herself that she DESERVES IT. That it was inevitable. That putting herself there gives her a modicum of control over the narrative. Mmm, delicious, yes, Give me a messy bench. Give me gambling addiction and smoking and the inability to see her family for what they are.

Fin, being Olivia's Ride or Die. He's so loyal. He would anything and he would also kill anyone for her. I absolutely believe he knows enough people that nobody would ever find the body. He has secret connections and knows things no normal person should know. I love it. He's like a secret agent, always there to protect Liv and solve cases. She deserves him.

Top 5 Guest Stars (other than the ones I have already mentioned):

Ally Walker. My old Profiler fave come back as a fucked up psychiatrist that fakes schizophrenia in a young boy so she can institutionalise him and rape him and have him father her baby? Oh, dear lord, fandoms collide. I love it. Bring it On.

John Stamos. You knew I was gonna say this. Anyone with the balls to bring up Elliot's pregnancy kink is a winner in my book.

Mary Stuart Masterson, little gay Jacqui loves her some Idgie Threadgoode and Benny & Joon. MSM coming into CANONICALLY point out the toxic codependency of Elliot and Olivia and how it legitimately effects their ability to work together? YASSSS.

Anyway, for the au- I’ve changed my mind, Young!Marcia and Cerys are like 22 or something. To make Alther sad. I’ll explain in a sec.

For present time Cerys and Marcia in the past- they’re honestly having a great time. Cerys is somehow alive and the same age as Marcia in the past (don’t ask me why, for plot reasons and also so people don’t know when she’ll die). So Alther and Mathilde see their daughters having enormous levels of trauma, and are like. Fuck it. And proceed to be the best parents ever and let Marcia and Cerys cry, and help them the best they can without knowing what the trauma is. And Cerys and Marcia just get to be the future ExtraOrdinary wizard and Crown Princess (Marcia isn’t exactly regarded as an apprentice to Alther, considering she’s been EO for over a decade) and are having fun, and being free from the weight of all the pressure, and meanwhile everyone in the Castle- EVERYONE even just random people who don’t really know them- are trying to figure out if Marcia and Cerys are married in the future bc they’re basically acting like they are.

Past Cerys and Marcia in the present are having an… interesting time. They don’t really like having to be acting Queen and EO so young (don’t tell Marcia what happens in a few years) and Marcia technically hadn’t finished her apprenticeship but the just. Choose not to tell anyone that. So they’re feeling kinda pressured, but they’re also young and happy and not as traumatized so if Cerys has a boring meeting she doesn’t want to go to, she and Marcia just. Make an excuse. Why yes, Marcia did once Project flames onto a random building (that was empty! She checked!) so they could ‘deal with the fire’ and just run through the Castle having fun and enjoying the future. Everyone who actually knew them at this age thinks is the cutest thing ever. (The present also revives the betting pool of are-they-or-are-they-not-dating. In answer- they are not, because Marcia is an oblivious bean, but Cerys is not and has been attempting to ask her out for weeks. This is fabulous entertainment.)

A new image of Boeing shows how the B-52H will look after a series of modifications that the U.S. Air Force said were significant enough to justify the renaming of the aircraft as B-52J or K.

The image was rendered from a digital prototyping model system, so it is likely to be very close to the final version.

The image highlights the largest diameter F130 turbofan engines to be built by Rolls-Royce North America. Also noteworthy is how the engine springs, each containing two engines, are placed higher and further ahead than the Pratt & Whitney TF-33 engines with which the B-52 has been flying since 1962, in part to provide more distance from the ground. The need to validate how the new engines/aveles will behave in relation to the wing and flaps system is an important part of the flight test program scheduled to start in the next two years.

The nose of the aircraft will also be simplified, losing the bubbles that currently house the infrared/electro-optical viewing system to facilitate the new radar, a variant of the AN/APG-79 used in the Boeing F/A-18E/F SuperHornet. The FLIR/EO system was used to avoid terrain and battle evaluation, but some of these functions will migrate to the radar or have already changed to a Litening or Sniper aiming pod, which the B-52 can carry on a hanger on the wing.

In addition to the engines and radar, the B-52 is receiving an updated cockpit, a "hybrid" analog-digital motor control system, communication and navigation improvements and the exclusion of a crew station.

Two large ravens at the top of the fuselage, close to the roots of the wings, also stand out in the images. A Boeing spokesman said that the crows “are not new and are not part of our program”, but they look bigger than any fairings or bubbles now in that area, which house GPS and other communication/navigation equipment. Pressed, the Boeing spokesman said: "I have nothing for you about it", a phrase that sometimes indicates a confidential issue. The location and size of the corcovas may suggest a larger and anti-incrat GPS antenna.

New engines were the main reason why the B-52G became the B-52H in 1962, said in August to Colonel Louise Ruscetta, senior material leader of the B-52. But given that the combined engine/radar program represents “the biggest modification in history” of the B-52, a new designation is likely, Ruscetta said. There may be a provisional designation because the radar will be installed before the engines and will lead to a change in manuals and operating and maintenance documentation. The documents will be changed again as soon as the engines are replaced. The Air Force and the Air Force Global Attack Command are analyzing "how we define" the new variant or variants, Ruscetta said.

The new radar is a type of active electronic scanning matrix, used by fighters. It will take up much less space than the old mechanically scanned system, so the change will create space for electronic warfare functions, Ruscetta said. At least part of the B-52 fleet will be operational with new radars and new engines by the end of the decade.

Imagine if AtS s4 & BtVS s7 were fully utilizing the fact their arcs take place in the same universe and the main characters know each other so it's really one big story. (yeah I know different networks)

In Lessons, Willow moved a flower via magic 6,112 miles from Paraguay to England. She explained, "It's all connected. The root system, the molecules...the energy. Everything's connected."

Buffy turned her house into a shelter for outcasts, orphans, & refugees. Crowded together for months, sleeping on the floor, in line for the one bathroom. It's cabin fever that started the mutiny.

Meanwhile Angel owned a hotel with a huge lobby, offices, elevators, 68 suites (living room, bedroom, kitchenette, bathroom), a few unexplored rooms.

Willow drove to LA to tell Angel that Buffy died. In AtS s4 AI never told Buffy that Angel was missing. In AtS s3 Gunn said she's the "love of his life & that ain't no short life." Yet it didn't occur to them she would want to know or could help find him. In s7 Buffy (a month post rescue) says "I would've given up everything I had to be with--I loved him more than I will ever love anything in this life."

Willow could've tethered Buffy's house to Angel's hotel, only a 120 mile distance. Every Potential as well as every Scooby & AI member could have their own private apartment with suites to spare.

Before working for Skyship Guild as an adventurer, Jairix was studying airship engineering under Professor Volni Eo, one of the most respected airship engineers in the world. Halfway into her time in Eo's workshop, her best friend left for a mysterious internship without saying goodbye and never returned. Jairix spent the few years between Mina's disappearance and meeting her party trying unsuccessfully to find out whether she was just overreacting to a friend not wanting to talk to her anymore, letting her anxiety and her imagination get away from her, or if there was really something nefarious going on (spoiler alert: there was).

22. what is a promise they’ve broken?

oh ok I see how it is

I'm certain she once promised Violet that she'd protect her, or at least that she'd try. That she wouldn't leave her behind.

She also promised Krurr'ash that she'd get some sleep, but at least that one she technically kept.

at the beginning of the campaign: curious, stressed, confused

at the end: capable, focused, logical (she's still stressed and confused but she'll never admit it out loud)

62. outside of otherworldly forces, what do they believe in?

not a whole lot. they believe that the consequences of your inaction are just as much your responsibility as the consequences of your action, and often turn out worse. she believes that the stars are bright and beautiful and feel like home, but no matter how much she wishes, there's no one out there looking back. she believes, a bit ruefully, that divination's not particularly useful when all your worst case scenarios seem to keep coming true.

16. what are their feelings on the people who raised them?

complicated, to say the least. Gemma loves her mom so so much, and she hates her mom nearly as much, and she'll cry every time she lets her down. They've always wanted to be just like her. The two of them can't spend an hour together without getting into an argument. Every time her mother leaves, she breaks Gemma's heart, and she misses her the whole time she's gone, and can't stand her as soon as she returns. Not to mention the adult adventurers (which includes Gemma's mom) have let the apprentices down a thousand times. I think every month that the adventurers failed to save Prinz or to find Ozrai eroded some of Gemma's trust in her mom.

She loves her dad with all her heart too. Gemma's like that, when she loves someone it's completely and fiercely and doesn't get diminished by hate or anger or betrayal, only complicated. I think their dad is kind, and doing his best, and I think half of Gemma wishes they could just curl up in his arms again and be safe forever, and half of them sees him as one more person to protect.

43. why do they fight?

because there's so much to fight for and who else is gonna do it. because that little kid who got kidnapped, or sacrificed, or poisoned by tree monsters could be Griffin (or Thorn, or Walter, says the ghost in her head). because Gemma was always gonna be a hero, even when she was just a little nuisance stealing cookies from the castle kitchens, she's always cared so much and always half believed she was invincible, and maybe she's not wrong, that would explain why she's always fine while everyone around her gets hurt. because they can, that's why, and because then it follows that they have to.

Fog Down in the Valley

"The Willamette Valley in Oregon is rich with farms and orchards, home to 70 percent of the state’s population, and dotted with more than 500 wineries. But all of that can disappear under a blanket of white when the valley fills in with fog, as it has several times in recent weeks.

Fog is common in the region in the autumn and winter, as moist Pacific air moves inland, cools, and sinks into the vast valley between the Cascade Mountains and the Oregon Coast Range. As that air gives up its heat to the upper atmosphere, the layer near the surface becomes saturated and essentially forms clouds at ground level.

Such fog has been locked in the Willamette Valley for several long stretches in January and February 2022 due to temperature inversions, where warm air high in the atmosphere moved in over the cooler, denser air in the lowlands. Normally, temperatures are warmer at the land surface, cooling higher up in the sky. This allows for most of the rising air and pollutants to continue to disperse out into the atmosphere. But an inversion acts like an atmospheric “lid” that can trap moisture and air pollution in a valley for days.

On February 10, 2022, the Operational Land Imager-2 (OLI-2) on Landsat 9 acquired these natural- and false-color views of thick fog in the Willamette Valley. The false-color image was composed from shortwave infrared, near-infrared, and red light (OLI-2 bands 6-5-4). Scientists turn to these wavelengths to distinguish clouds (white and pink) from snow and ice (cyan).

Oregon has already seen at least three extended periods of valley fog in 2022, as observed by the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) on NASA’s Terra satellite from February 8-12, January 22-29, and January 14-17.

Fog is essentially a low-lying cloud composed of tiny water droplets suspended in the air. As nights lengthen with the season, the atmosphere has more time to cool down and approach the dew point—the temperature at which the air becomes saturated and water vapor condenses into fog. Since cold, moist air is denser than warm air, it sinks and drains into valleys, meaning fog develops there first. Many valleys like the Willamette also have rivers and streams that amplify the fog with a ready supply of moisture.

Fog can pose serious risks for drivers. Fog-related traffic accidents typically cause more deaths in the United States each year than other high-profile weather events like heat waves, tornadoes, and floods, according to data from the National Weather Service and the Federal Highway Administration. The foggiest parts of the United States, including Oregon, see dense fog at least 40 days per year.
