A Better Version is soo so good because it's so fucking ironic and poignant that the first thing Jase does when he meets Judith is refuse to get caught in a silly and inadvertent lie that wouldn't even that matter that much, but because Judith assumes the dog was his dog, he has to correct her.

and he says he didn't want to get caught in a lie, specifically.

And then she gives him a false name and lies to him for several hours and continues lying for two more years, building a whole life together on lie after lie. and then she just expects him to- what- to get to know the real her and trust her again?

Why has no one written a 36 questions AU yet? Either based on the musical or just based on the questions?

Musical, option A: Luigi has been pretending they were Peach for the past 2 years. When Bowser finds out they're not who they said they were, he storms off to a remote castle. Since Luigi has been married to this guy for over a year and doesn't want to mess up this relationship. So, while they're driving their cart on the road, they decide to do the thing that got them to fall in love when they were Peach. The 36 questions.

Regular, option B: Luigi has just been kidnapped by Bowser. He's bored and doesn't know what else to do so he asks, "Given the choice of anyone in the world, whom would you want as a dinner guest?" Bowser's a little confused at first but is like, "of course I would want Peach." (I imagine at some point Mario would come to rescue Luigi and Bowser would want to finish these, "36 questions" so he goes to Luigi's house in the middle of the night.)

So, I've already mentioned "36 Questions" here and yeah - I've listened to it and it's good, but here's the thing:

It's so weird calling it a podcast and see people putting it in the same lists as hours upon hours long fictional podcasts with multiple seasons and lore and such.

It's a radio drama. Or an audio play.
