2 Nephi Chapter 21. "Yah Exists."
Tumblr media
The stem of Jesse (Christ) will judge in righteousness—The knowledge of God will cover the earth in the Millennium—The Lord will raise an ensign and gather Israel—Compare Isaiah 11. About 559–545 B.C.
1 aAnd there shall bcome forth a rod out of the cstem of Jesse, "Yah Exists" and a dbranch shall grow out of his roots.
2 And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord;
3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord; and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears.
4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the cmeek of the earth; and he shall dsmite the earth with the erod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.
5 And arighteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.
6 The awolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid, and the calf and the young lion and fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.
7 And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together; and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
8 And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice’s den.
9 They shall anot hurt nor bdestroy in all my holy mountain, for the cearth shall be full of the dknowledge of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.
10 And in that day there shall be a aroot of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the bGentiles seek; and his crest shall be glorious.
11 And it shall come to pass in that day that the Lord shall set his hand again the asecond time to recover the remnant of his people which shall be left, from bAssyria "the Leveler" and from Egypt, "Temple of Speech" and from Pathros, "South, place of interpretation" and from Cush, "burnt up, Southernmost" and from Elam, "to be hidden" and from cShinar, "intense emotion from the experience of violence" and from Hamath, "to protect or surround" and from the islands of the sea.
=Other Jews.
"The Lord will stretch forth His hand in the New Epoch and recover what is left from the leveling and the propaganda and take them South, to the Southernmost, and hidden from the intense emotion from the experience of violence, the Jew shall surround and the rest."
12 And he shall set up an aensign for the nations, and shall assemble the boutcasts of Israel, and cgather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.
13 The aenvy of Ephraim also shall depart, and the adversaries of Judah shall be cut off; Ephraim shall not benvy cJudah, and Judah shall not vex Ephraim.
"All jealousy and strife will end, and the adversaries of prosperity, shall no longer vex God or man."
14 But they shall fly upon the shoulders of the aPhilistines towards the west; they shall spoil them of the east together; they shall lay their hand upon bEdom and cMoab; and the children of Ammon shall obey them.
"The weakeners shall be enlightened by the Commitments and Traditions and the children of listeners shall obey them."
15 And the Lord shall utterly adestroy the tongue of the Egyptian sea; and with his mighty wind he shall shake his hand over the river, and shall smite it in the seven streams, and make men go over dry shod.
16 And there shall be a highway for the remnant of his people which shall be left, from Assyria, like as it was to Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt.
What is left after the stubble is leveled and the Egyptian Sea is surpassed is the Nile, the River of Life. After the wind separates the man from the boy, and lies on the other side of the Seven Days is called the remnant. It what remains at the end of the 7th Day and Jacob's Dream becomes reality and Israel takes his place.

Jennifer Lopez Salazar University of California, Davis Spring 2021 (online) Beginning Sculpture Public Monument Proposal
Assignment: design and propose a sculptural monument
Title: “ICE 545″
Beginning in 2017 during the Trump administration, the parents of 545 migrant children to the US had not been found. The “zero tolerance” policy was intended to prosecute those trying to enter the U.S illegally while simultaneously resulting in immediate separation of children from their parents. Although illegal immigration prosecution didn’t start with the Trump Administration, Trump’s “Zero Policy” created immediate family separation.
This monument is a memorial for the children who have sadly been taken away from their family. The sculpture is meant to be temporary. This temporary work will be in Anacostia Park in Washington D.C. It is made for the people to help those who have been lost and a reminder to U.S. officials that something must be done to change the immigration system.
ICE 545 is a walk-through monument inspired by the Memorial of the Murdered Jews by Peter Eisenman. Once you have stepped foot on the cold stone floor, you will be overwhelmed to find that the large glass cubes contain a block of ice inside. There are 3 lines of ice, each line containing either 5 or 4 blocks. In the blocks in the first line you will find families, to signify that everyone comes from somewhere, everyone has a family. The further you go down, you will find some empty blocks signifying those we have lost and some with lonely children in them.
Here’s to those who have been found but we must never forget those we have lost.

About those 545 kids still separated from parents: Expect long-lasting psychological distress
The fact that 545 sets of parents whose children were removed from them at the U.S.-Mexico border cannot be found has reactivated the alarms sounded for several years now by child development and immigration experts.
They warn of severe, even lifelong psychological and behavioral consequences for migrant children forcibly separated from their parents as part of a White House plan to prevent immigrants from crossing the border.
The Trump administration began separating children from parents as part of a pilot program in El Paso, Texas, in 2017. By the time President Trump announced his “zero tolerance” policy against immigrants the following year, the practice had been implemented up and down the U.S.-Mexico border, according to a report by the Southern Poverty Law Center.
1,500 separations occurred in 2017 and 2,800 in 2018.
The practice included holding migrants for possible criminal prosecution — even if they were seeking asylum — and eventually deporting them while their children remained in facilities located around the U.S.
The plan was devised by White House adviser Stephen Miller. Eventually, a federal judge ordered the program stopped and the children reunited with their parents, but that proved not to be easily done.
The Texas Tribune reported that 1,500 separations occurred in 2017 and 2,800 in 2018 and that federal officials took little or no steps to ensure those families eventually could be reunited.
“It was only in 2019, after a federal judge ordered officials to hand their names over to immigration lawyers, that the American Civil Liberties Union and other groups tried in earnest to begin reuniting them,” the Tribune reported, adding that 485 parents have been reached so far and 545 cannot be found.
Irreparable damage
Ryan Eller
The repercussions of such separations for children already impacted by leaving their homes in search of a new life may include anxiety, depression, PTSD, chemical abuse and suicide, experts on the situation report.
But the United States itself will suffer long-term negative effects, added Ryan Eller, executive director of the New Moral Majority and formerly head of Define American, an immigration freedom movement.
“The kidnapping and abduction of children by ripping them from their parents and concentrating them in cages will go down as one of the biggest moral stains in United States history.”
“The kidnapping and abduction of children by ripping them from their parents and concentrating them in cages will go down as one of the biggest moral stains in United States history,” he said. “Those children will be suffering the rest of their lives from the early childhood trauma we have placed on them.”
Social workers, psychologists and other experts on child development agree that forced separation from loved ones and the notoriously brutal conditions of detention facilities will have lifelong impacts on the migrant children.
Dawn Hallman
“That does things to kids’ brains,” said Dawn Hallman, an adjunct professor of child development at Dallas College Eastfield Campus in Texas and executive director of the Dallas Association for Parent Education. “Some children are resilient, and some will make it through, but not without a huge amount of damage.”
The harm done to youth, and also to their parents, is a function of both the duration of separation, the sudden and traumatic way it occurred, and the deplorable conditions of the facilities where they have been held, Hallman said.
And more than half the children taken from their parents have not yet been reunited with them, despite the court order. The administration has handed the problem to the ACLU to solve.
“The government deported hundreds of parents without their children — without a plan for how they would be ever be found.”
In an online statement, the ACLU said it is continuing the search. “Now, we must ensure the administration heeds the court’s ruling and the policy of family separation ends once and for all. The government deported hundreds of parents without their children — without a plan for how they would be ever be found.”
A flawed plan from the beginning
Child advocates say all facets of the plan are deeply flawed.
“It is not a hard call for any psychologist to say this system is inhumane, cruel and immoral,” said Tanya Sharon, a professor of psychology and a specialist in child and adolescent development at Mercer University in Macon, Ga.
“It is not a hard call for any psychologist to say this system is inhumane, cruel and immoral.”
Its impact on children is grave, whether for babies, toddlers or teens who experience continuous stress from separation and detention. The process of learning to trust others, their environment and the future is radically interrupted for infants, Sharon said. “Attachment is an enormous issue for young children who have been deprived and basically kidnapped. That can be incredibly disruptive.”
Often overlooked are the constant fear and danger those children faced on their perilous journeys to the U.S.-Mexican border, plus whatever dire conditions motivated the trip in the first place.
Tanya Sharon
“No one tries to come to the U.S. blithely,” Sharon added. “They invest enormous amounts of money, endure arduous conditions and usually travel by foot because the options in their home countries are worse than the risk of traveling to the United States.
“So, when these kids come to the U.S. and are separated from their parents, they are losing their lifelines and they lose confidence that their parents can be trusted,” she added. “Their lives become really, really frightening.”
Such trauma makes them vulnerable to psychological distress, increased rates of depression and anxiety, she added. “PTSD also is entirely possible.”
Older children are susceptible to suffering damage to self-image and identity as they absorb the message that they are unwanted or considered to be criminals.
The intensity and duration of the separation and incarceration overcomes the resilience that is built into human beings, Sharon said. “Most kids are resilient to a few stressors; humans have evolved so we can adapt.”
‘They didn’t flippin’ care’
But research shows that no child is resilient to four or more adverse childhood events. And such events are in high supply in the shelters. “The U.S. government in its camps is absolutely creating significant risks of trauma,” Sharon noted.
And being reconnected with loved ones by itself is no guarantee of healing, she continued. “Being reunited with the family absolutely is a critical first step. But if that family is still stressed, besieged by conditions in their environment, that may not be enough.”
Being beset with acute anxiety, depression and self-esteem issues typically contributes to developing unhealthy relationships, substance abuse and suicide, Hallman said.
“Just imagine the level of panic these parents have felt for several years now.”
Parents who lost their children to the U.S. policy likely suffer the same emotional fate. “To come to a country to save your child’s life only to be separated as child and parent — recall the panic of losing sight of your child in a grocery store,” Hallman said. “Just imagine the level of panic these parents have felt for several years now.”
Trump spokesman Tim Murtaugh told CNN that many of these parents, when contacted, do not want their children back — a claim disputed as outrageous by critics of the administration’s policy.
But the child and family experts do agree that Trump’s “zero tolerance” policy has been disruptive to a sense of community for thousands of migrants and their families
“Now there are 545 children who don’t know where their parents are. Who in their right minds thought this was a good idea?” Hallman asked. “It was a terror tactic. They knew what this would do to people and didn’t flippin’ care.”

+ For years, Melara -- , an attorney working with the nonprofit Justice In Motion -- has been searching for parents who were separated from their children by U.S. authorities as part of the Tr*mp administration's widely condemned effort to deter migrant families from coming to the United States. That so-called "zero tolerance" policy ended in 2018 and had largely faded from the headlines after sparking nationwide protests that year. + But a revelation in court documents this week (10-20-2020) is shining fresh public attention on the policy and its aftermath. Lawyers say they haven't been able to reach the parents of 545 children from separated families -- and that hundreds of those parents were likely deported without their children.

545 children have been effectively orphaned by the Trump administration, as the parents who were separated from them and deported cannot be found, according to lawyers tasked with finding them. 360 of the children taken captive by the Trump administration are themselves unaccounted for. In 2018, the Trump administration separated approximately 2,800 families at the U.S.-Mexico border after it initiated a ‘zero tolerance’ policy. However, the administration had begun separating families a year earlier in 2017 under a pilot program. Under that pilot program, about 1,000 parents were separated from their children, with no plan to reunite them. Lawyers appointed by a federal judge to search for the parents of the separated children have yet to track down 545 parents, and about two-thirds of those parents were deported to Central America without their children. 'Some of these children were just babies when they were separated,' an ACLU lawyer told NPR. 'Some of these children may now have been separated for more than half their lives. Almost their whole life, they have not been with their parents.'

2 Nephi Chapter 11. "Containerized Light."
Tumblr media
Jacob saw his Redeemer—The law of Moses typifies Christ and proves He will come. About 559–545 B.C.
This is the heart wall of the Midrash-of Jacob dreaming of personal intimacy with nation of persons who are intimate with the God they share. The dream of Jacob however is more than just a vision it is the practice of world that no longer serves as a vessel for its historical darkness. Containerized Light, Atzilut, is the final stage of Jacob's Dream and is what is meant when we say the Law Typifies the Christ:
The highest and most perfected level of Tikun is called the world of Atzilut, the world of Emanation. The word Atzilut in Hebrew derives from the word etzel, meaning "close to" or "near". The world of Atzilut is "close to" the Infinite Light, even though it is not united and identified with it to the same degree as the world of Adam Kadmon.
The word Atzilut also means "to set aside", "take from", or "draw down", for the light of the world of Atzilut is, so to speak, "taken from" and "drawn down" from the world above it, the world of Adam Kadmon.
At every stage of devolution of the Infinite Light, an additional factor of limitation is added. The dimension and limitation that is added in the world of Atzilut is the aspect of inner structure. Adam Kadmon is unstructured and so tightly bound together that it is impossible to distinguish top and bottom, inside and outside, beginning and end; in Atzilut, however, the dimension of internal structure is added. In fact, the entire concept of internalization, of immanence - as opposed to transcendence - is first evident in the world of Atzilut. In the world of Atzilut there is a distinction between lights and vessels
Atzilut is thus the first plane, or world of immanence, of structure. In the world of Atzilut there is a distinction between "lights" and "vessels" —called orot and kelim, respectively. This is not a separation between the lights and vessels, for the lights and vessels of Atzilut are integrally bound up with each other. Nevertheless, there is a distinction between them. One aspect is recognizable as light and another is recognizable as the vessels which contain and limit the light.
1 And now, aJacob spake many more things to my people at that time; nevertheless only these things have I caused to be bwritten, for the things which I have written sufficeth me.
2 And now I, Nephi, write amore of the words of bIsaiah, for my soul delighteth in his words. For I will liken his words unto my people, and I will send them forth unto all my children, for he verily csaw my dRedeemer, even as I have seen him.
3 And my brother, Jacob, also has aseen him as I have seen him; wherefore, I will send their words forth unto my children to prove unto them that my words are true. Wherefore, by the words of bthree, God hath said, I will establish my word. Nevertheless, God sendeth more cwitnesses, and he proveth all his words.
4 Behold, my soul delighteth in aproving unto my people the truth of the bcoming of Christ; for, for this end hath the claw of Moses been given; and all things which have been given of God from the beginning of the world, unto man, are the dtypifying of him.
5 And also my soul delighteth in the acovenants of the Lord which he hath made to our fathers; yea, my soul delighteth in his bgrace, and in his justice, and power, and mercy in the great and eternal plan of cdeliverance from death.
6 And my soul delighteth in proving unto my people that asave Christ should come all men must perish.
7 For if there be ano Christ there be no God; and if there be no God we are not, for there could have been no bcreation. But there is a God, and che is Christ, and he cometh in the fulness of his own time.
8 And now I write asome of the words of Isaiah, that whoso of my people shall see these words may lift up their hearts and rejoice for all men. Now these are the words, and ye may liken them unto you and unto all men.

Biden if elected will form task force to reunite 545 separated immigrant children with family, campaign says
(CNN) Joe Biden is pledging that if he's elected president, he will sign an executive order to form a task force that will focus on reuniting the 545 immigrant children who've been separated from their families.
The pledge was mentioned in a digital ad the campaign has started airing in the key states of Arizona, Florida, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Nevada, a Biden campaign official said. The move comes as the campaign is courting Latino voters in the final stretch before the election. Biden campaigns in Florida on Thursday while his running mate Kamala Harris hit the trail in Arizona and Nevada this week. Harris on Friday will also go to the Rio Grande Valley in Texas, which is home to a large Latino population.
"On his first day as president, Joe Biden will issue an executive order creating a federal task force to reunite these children with their parents," the narrator says.
Lawyers have not been able to reach the parents of 545 children who had been separated from their families by US border officials between 2017 and 2018, according to a court filing last week. The filing from the Justice Department and the American Civil Liberties Union is part of an ongoing effort to identify and reunite families separated by the Trump administration, more than two years after the "zero tolerance" policy was created.

At the second presidential debate, Biden slammed Trump's administration for the actions.
"Their kids were ripped from their arms and separated, and now they cannot find over 500 of the sets of those parents, and those kids are alone. Nowhere to go. Nowhere to go. It's criminal. It's criminal," he said.
Trump earlier in the debate said the administration was "trying very hard" to reunite the kids but then claimed that "a lot of these kids come out without the parents. They come over through cartels and through coyotes and through gangs."
CNN's Priscilla Alvarez contributed to this report.

“Three years after Donald Trump ordered a crackdown on undocumented migrants crossing into the US, lawyers are still struggling to find the parents of 545 children separated from them under the “zero-tolerance” policy, according to the American Civil Liberties Union.
The zero-tolerance policy was announced in April 2018. It was later revealed that the administration had begun family separation the previous year under a secret pilot program.
“The Trump administration ripped 545 children away from their parents, lied about it, then lost track of them as they departed them into danger. That’s par for the course for a sadistic immigration system.” -Paola Luisi”

Lawyers working to reunite migrant families separated by the Trump administration previously said they could not find the parents of 545 children. They now believe they have been unable to make contact with the families of 666 children. Steve Herzog, an attorney leading the family reunification efforts, said the higher number includes those for whom the government did not provide a phone number. In an email obtained by NBC News, Herzog requested that DOJ attorneys release any updated contact information for the 666 children’s families. A source told NBC News that about one-fifth of the 666 children were under 5 years old when they were separated from their parents. President-elect Joe Biden has previously pledged to form a task force that would aid in the work to reunite separated families.
