it’s hard enough to decide between usual arts (especially considering I usually do few-panel-comedy-comic-stuff which just doesn’t work the same in this) so I decided to split it up some more considering it’s been 90%Witcher art and then everything else was various ocs (90%Namir, 9%Garvin with him and the other 1 is everyone else-woops)

Over the year I drew ~309 individual pieces (some short comics were put together fully, other posted with each panel individually; it’s hard to count) Also not counting every frame I did for the animatics I created (ofc) so I think overall this year was... a lot

Im really tired but let me just say how much I appreciate this fandom

After the new video came out everyone was super hyped beacuse of the new character. Some in a positive and some in a negative way. And. The fanders, just recognized that. They recognized that there are some people who would be uncomfortable if they saw a post about this new character. Some would get panic attacks or get paranoid. It would trigger people in different ways. In my opinion, other fandoms im in, people would have reacted waaaaay differently. There are some fandoms where I can imagine people just saying "Get over it." Or something like that. This fandom however mostly understood (no fandom is perfect. This fandom is no expection from that so Im not saying every single fander recognized the problem) that this new character could cause harm in people's lives and decided that the best we could do is to tag every post with the same tag. So people who want to, can blacklist that tag. I think it's super important that we didn't shut their request down, I saw a post myself that asked the fanders to tag #deceit beacuse it would have triggerred that person and that post got at least 600notes which is insane!

The other thing is. People have different opinions on Deceit. Some like him and some dont. I think most people understand that Deceit can never be in a healthy realitonship with any of the sides, or Thomas. Shipping is good, until you understand how toxic realitonships work and how Deceit would affect any realitonship negativly. I know that we got a bit heated at the whole "I dont like deceit how can you like him hes an asshole wtf is wrong with you" thing but as I said no fandom is perfect and eventually people did understand that most people who like him, like him as a villain, as a character and not what he represents.

Also just wanting to say that the amount of fanart is just mind blowing and all of them is so good! And the fanfics are well written as well! No one says you cant write a fanfiction with Deceit in it. But if you do please be aware that he is a very negative and toxic character and please make sure to tag Every. Possible. Trigger. Warning. If you arent sure if something would be triggering, just tag it anyways. Be open to people who tell you to tag something! The health of your followers is mostly your responsibility if you write a fic that could be triggering. You cant know what triggers someone so if someone asks you to tag something, no matter how weird it is in your opinion, you have to tag it.

Thats mostly what I wanted to say I just yeah think its a really great fandom and this fandom helped me thru a lot of stuff and Thomas (and friends) is just so kind and he appreciates us as much as we appreciate him and I think thats beautiful. @thatsthat24 I know you are proud of us but know that we are proud of you too for forming such a great group of people.
