✨ Welcome to the GOT7 7for7 Project! ✨

With GOT7 entering their 7th year, we decided to celebrate them in fitting fashion by creating content completely inspired by them! This project, inspired by the recent Carat Revival Challenge, will encompass the members, their discography, interests and their charms. 

Starting midnight (KST) Monday 4th January 2021, and every second week until completion, we will be posting a “project run” with 4 themes for content creators to participate in! You can post anytime in the two weeks allocated to each project run. 

All types of content are welcome! Gfx, gifs, fics, moodboards, videos - you name it! If you make it, we want to see it! 

If you’re new to creating content, and need help getting started, or just need a sounding board for your idea - please feel free to send us an ask/DM and we’ll do our best to give you a hand!

Rules: 

Make sure to tag your creations with #7for7project in the first 5 tags of your post

ALL content creators are welcome! This project is not exclusive to members of GOT7Creators and we encourage anyone wishing to participate to do so. We will reblog all creations with the above tag to the network during the life of the project

Hey Everyone!

It’s FRIDAY (or probably Saturday where you are) and there’s not much to talk about, but still very big in terms of news!

More lovely fanart of Jackson is his best boi form aka his dragon form.

1. Chapter 5 update & Asks

So Chapter 5 of Departure III will be up either tomorrow or Sunday, so I hope you all are ready for some Philinda. Also I got a really fun ask in regards to how the Avengers would react to Got7 MV’s and it basically boils down to the heroes clowning them, but also liking their music as well. I might make a separate post during the Turbulence/ Arrival Acts on the Avengers song choice since albums like “7for7″ and “Eyes on You” will exist in the storyline.

2. Idolls Campaign

The idolls Campaign is still going strong but also needs some help. If you all could follow the account on tumblr or twitter (idollscampaign), and also share and sign our petition. We’re on our way to 5,000 signatures and we really need them to build our case. If you also want to personally help out on the campaign, you can email [email protected] 

3. Just Right 300M & Got7 Galaxy

Got7′s MV Just Right officially Reached 300 Million views on YouTube this week! This one’s a bit of an important one as the Music Video and song are what got some people into Kpop and even Got7. I still remember the first time watching the MV (was a bit confused and concerned), but it put the group in my head, and a couple years later, I would become a fan. 

And Got7 fans are amazing! Especially since Ahgases BOUGHT NAMING RIGHTS TO A FREAKING GALAXY FOR GOT7′S 6TH ANNIVERSARY?!?! The NGC278 galaxy as astronomers call it, is now known as the Got7 Galaxy.

got7 now has a whole GALAXY named after their name. I wonder...if they need a few guardians...to guard their galaxy??

3. Doctor Strange 2

I hate to end this Flight Log Blog on a downer, but I’ve gotta mention it. Yesterday news dropped that Scott Derrickson, the Director of Doctor Strange and supposed to Direct for Doctor Strange 2, has left due to creative Differences.

This news came as a shock to many including myself. On the list of new Marvel Movies coming out there’s only 3 (technically 4 but that one’s years away) that I wanted to see, and Doctor Strange 2 was the biggest one! Scott Derrickson did a phenomenal job on the first movie, and I was incredibly excited to see his work in the second. I’m a bit wary of what the movie will be now that he’s not directing considering how Marvel (and Disney) have been since the end of last year and the beginning of this year. 

Fingers crossed that we have a well written movie and story and a big thank you to Scott Derrickson for your work. You’re still Executive Producer, but your role as Director and writer will always be amazing.

hey guys like always here are some ways/reminders you guys can help got7 to get the wins on music shows when when 7for7 era starts! c:

PHYSICAL SALES:

* some of the sites like kpoptown, kpopmart,ktown4u have not updated the albums/preorders however it will be update after a day/few hours!

if you are going to purchase albums on other websites, do check with them if it will be counted towards the hanteo chart

if you want to save on shipping fees, you might want to look for G/Os for your countries.

ensure that your preorder/purchase will count towards the first week/week of purchase

physical sales are extremely important especially on the first week!

YOUTUBE:

log out of your youtube account if possible

use incognito mode on chrome!

watch the official music video on jype’s youtube channel

watch it from the start to end, no skipping!!!!!

i’m pretty sure that you don’t need 1080p to stream it but just to be safe stream it at 720p or above

DON’T use auto refreshers

refresh the video when you are done instead of clicking the replay button.

clear your cookies & history frequently.

sometimes the views on the video will freeze but don’t worry just continue watching and it will unfreeze in a few hours etc.

MelOn:

there have been some rumours that international streaming doesn’t count towards the chart but that rumour has been debunked that MelOn replied with “as long as you have a streaming account, stable internet connection” your streams and downloads should be counted but they cannot be held responsible if there is any error in data

it is better safe than sorry as MelOn/digital points are extremely important and carry almost 50% or more of music shows point system.

for MelOn streaming, you will need a melon account and purchase a streaming pass

if you have it, ensure that you are streaming it and not playing the downloaded one

recently digital chart changed their rules and only songs downloaded/dropped at 12pm KST will be counted to the charts immediately.

remember to download the song before streaming it as downloads are considered for higher (?) ranking than streaming. 

but still stream the song after

Genie:

for Genie if you really wish to stream, you can make a genie account with your kakaotalk account and purchase a stream pass too. (though if you want to purchase a stream pass i would highly recommend melon instead)

or if you have physical albums you can use the Genie codes that come inside your albums to stream it. (do check out the expiry dates at the back of the Genie coupon to check if it is still available to be used)

for Genie there will be some urls for free streaming floating around (especially on twitter) so if you want you can keep an eye out for those urls and stream.

if you don’t have the time to stream and you have unexpired Genie coupons, you can submit the coupons serial number to got7′s fans support team.

do note that after May 2017, Instiz iChart does not take in rankings from Monkey3 & Olleh

Mnet Pre-voting:

for information about mnet pre-voting, please refer to this post.

instead of hard carry, vote for the title song of this era when the time comes^

also do note that mnet may have closed all mnet accounts that are inactive for a year

*purchasing the album on iTunes does not count towards music show but it is still highly recommended to purchase it on iTunes to help the boys to do well on Billboard.
