My favourite thing about all the opportunities you get in Act 3 to try and lord your divine status over everyone is the fact that stuff like "you dare ask this of me, Bhaal's favourite child" is... exactly what got Durge shivved by Orin in the first place according to what we're told and shown? Their arrogance was their downfall.

And after getting a fresh start and the chance to reflect on themselves... Durge has potentially decided there's no lesson worth learning from all this. Basically: Pride was my downfall. And it will be again!
