Name two opposing OCs, and explain what makes these two opposing to each other?

Ooh, that's a tough one. I' guess I'll pick a pair that embodies simple dichotomies in order to answer this. I'm not sure I super understand so I will answer to the best of my ability. My character of day, light, and brightness is Pire. A Shiekah Zelda OC. Her name means fire, she is made of bright and warm colors, and she is a lone character that doesn't need nor come with a pre-set partner. This is unusual compared to all of my other OCs. There's a lot of "safety in the daylight" themes in her character.

I have plenty of characters that embody night and darkness, but the direct opposition to Pire would be Amea. Another Zelda character. This one is a Twilian (Twili/Hylian) and she is made of cool colors and a lot of shades. She comes pre-set with a partner and her character is entirely "survival in the night" themes.

HelloHello! I'm bringing my new/old OC Amea over to play, wondering if you have anyone for her (romance, friendship)?

Amea Allossun is a Cultural Advisor to the Senate and basically keeps protocol droid up to date and mediates disagreements relating to culture. She is writing a book and collecting stories to preserve clone culture as a personal project. In her work she has made many friends from senators to troopers. Her favorite place is the Botanical Gardens.

Hi Sunshine!! I have been sitting on this for a few days and I actually think I'm going to pair your girl Amea with a relatively new OC of my own. I haven't talked about her at all yet actually!

So please, if you will, indulge me in a short AU of Amea and Aspen Hayes, GAR-contracted botanist!

Since Amea likes the botanical gardens, and since that's where Aspen works generally, they probably meet at the gardens. Perhaps Aspen is working within one of the special plant exhibits, measuring their growth and soil composition and updating notes about how the plants are faring. She can feel someone lingering nearby, but doesn't turn to look until she finishes her soil analysis. When she looks, she finds a very pretty, put-together woman with a datapad in hand.

Aspen introduces herself, and when it becomes apparent that the two share a love of plants and the serenity they bring, something clicks. Aspen happily chats Amea's ear off, and by the time they realize how long it's been, Amea graciously offers her comm frequency before they both return to work.

The two become fast and close friends. When the war starts, and Amea starts her passion project of documenting clone culture, Aspen is more than happy to help her. The GAR contracts Aspen to help them assess biological threats as the war expands to different planets, so she comes into contact with clones on occasion. Once the clones learn about Amea's work, they sometimes come to Aspen asking for a connection to participate.

Aspen is quiet and reserved normally, so when the two have time to hang out, it's often filled with subdued tapping on datapads, cozy sweaters, and wine. Both are happy to let the other infodump as much as they want--and will go to bat for the other if needed.

I originally made her for @moonlightwarriorqueen's clone boyo Canopy so I think she'd just be real good friends with Amea, providing a steady, constant, reassuring presence in what is likely a very hectic life as a cultural advisor.

Multiple award winning artiste Jonathan Amea Badu born in the year 1999 known by stage name Dallerz, is a Ghanaian rapper, singer, songwriter, and recording artiste from Asankrangwa in the Western Region. Dallarz is born to Ghanaian parents Joe-willinsky Amea Badu and Agnes Essah.

Early days

Dallerz started and completed his basic education from Buadum D/A Basic School in Asankrangwa and continued his senior education at Toase High School and a final year of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. Abilities

I would like to ship Amea and Rex, what are your thoughts on those two as a pairing?

Something just tells me they'd be super cute together 👀

Amea and Rex? Not only cute, I'm fairly sure Anakin and Padme would ship it.

-Padme finding out from Bail that Amea is working on a project to record clone culture becomes very passionate about the project, because she thinks it will be good for the eventual battle for their rights. Also because she and Anakin heard them talking (flirting) in the hall outside her senate office suite. She "suggests" to Anakin to take Amea with them so she can work with the clones.

-Rex refuses to allow her planetside unless it is a secure location. He doesn't give a kriff about documenting when it endangers her life. However he goes out of his way to make sure she can be there when it is what he deems "safe enough". Even if she has to stay within three feet of him.

-Rex is deeply confused when in the middle of a sleep cycle he wakes to find her in the mess with about fifty of his vode half covered in flour and teaching them to make pancakes. She hands him a spatula and shows him and a shiny at the same time how to know when and how to turn them over. Amea gives him a quick kiss and tells him , "Make GOOD memories,"

-They thrive on "quiet time together" he might be reviewing reports and she may be going over some notes she had taken but they are curled up together somewhere.

-Amea still somehow becomes besties with Fives. Rex acts like it annoys him, but he actually loves it.

Heads Up Seven Up

How-to play: Post seven lines from something you're writing. Tag some other people (seven, if you wanna be fancy).

These seven lines will be coming from No Strings Attached, my Twilight Princess fanfic. It's not posted yet because it is well well into hiatus, but it will be worked on eventually.

“Wh- Hey! Is she one of those damn beasts?” She barked, drawing her weapon. Auru sighed and rolled his eyes. He grabbed her wrist and lowered her hand.

“Obviously not. She just… knows how to go between them.” He partially explained. Amea watched them, panting and regaining the massive amounts of strength drained from passing through. Watching them reassure the rookie only made her feel worse. By the end, she wasn’t sure she wanted to continue leading them all the way to Ordon. Her pay would be forfeited if she didn’t, that was reason enough to press forward. Her arm passed through the curtain, outstretched for one of the team.

“We have to go one at a time. It’s too much effort to go all at once.” Auru told the rookie. Shen stepped forward and took the offer first. Amea yanked him through swiftly, almost losing his glasses on the bright side. Wendyn gasped and gritted her teeth. Silence came after as they waited for her hand to return. 

“She could be killing him right now…” Wendyn hissed under her breath to Auru. The veteran scoffed, but before he could respond Amea’s hand appeared again. He pushed Wendyn to it and folded his arms.

“Take it. You’ll see.” He grumbled. Wendyn grimaced and held her hand over hers, hesitating. The hand dropped in a visible sigh and snatched her, yanking her through the curtain with a yelp. Falling to the other side in the dirt, Wendyn scrambled and stared at Amea. In this light, she looked vastly different from her usual self. Her hand seemed to steam from the act as she tugged on her gauntlets to air it out. Shen frowned at Wendyn and helped her get to her feet.

“Does he look very dead to you?” Amea said, watching Auru calmly wait and casting her a silent, sympathetic look. Wendyn dusted herself off and stuck behind Shen, keeping him between her and Amea.

“There may be twilight between us, but we’re still within 10 feet of each other. We could hear what you were saying.” Shen said quietly. Wendyn shook her head and eyed Amea suspiciously. Amea was used to this kind of prejudice, but as much as she tried to ignore it, she couldn’t ignore the sting it left on her spirit.

Thrill doesn't have a romantic ship yet but is also always looking for new buddies. He is a corporal in the coruscant guard and has a lime green curly mohawk and a magenta star tattoo under his left eye (many others but those are the ones visible in uniform. He likes to run and do parkour on the rooftops of Coruscant and dancing. He goes dancing every chance he gets. Super friendly.
